The Twins of Misfortune
The world is cold and ice,
The two of the same face are the device.
Caught in misfortune,
They lie in ruin,
Of the world that denied them,
Even though they ruled.
The blood in their reins,
Became the bane,
And put them in chains.
They lost even the comfort,
Of coming after the other.
Only one return,
Filled with concern,
The love his brother, he thus yearns.
Continuing the life,
He wishes for the dream,
Caught in that man's scheme.
The pawn in the game,
He holds his brother's name,
And takes the blame of what the king became.
The pieces of his past,
Lay around him in shatters of glass.
The ungranted wish,
The far-off dream,
It all dies with the unending scream.
But that set of twins,
Those of the same face,
In the heart of the princess,
They can not be replaced.
