When Draco regains consciousness the Potter Estate is engulfed in black flames. Harry, James Sirius, and Albus Severus he learns upon checking their bodies, are dead. Draco wanders the property checking on everyone as he goes, only to learn they're all dead. He's the only survivor and for whatever reason the black flames don't touch him. Draco stands by the front gates of the property and watches the Potter Estate burn; until it has been reduced to nothing but ashes and charred rubble, simply digesting the fact that he's free. Finally!
Draco holds his hand out and summons his wand. He's surprised, but relieved that it is still in tact. He apparates to his childhood home and promptly locks down the property. After a day of rest and recuperation, Draco has the house elves move all of the family portraits and heirlooms to the family vaults in Gringotts, then orders every human and creature to scatter to other properties the family owns, preferably muggle ones.
Armed with a briefcase filled with pebbles transfigured into muggle cash, rocks transfigured into muggle credit cards, and fake identification documents; Draco sets the Malfoy Estate ablaze. He doesn't stick around to see it burn to ashes and rubble. He has no idea if he will ever return there, but if he does he wants a fresh start. In the meantime the property will remain hidden under a Fidelius Charm. Unknown and unplottable to any who would seek to claim it for themselves. Within two weeks he's relocated all of his family's assets and settled down in a muggle apartment in Tokyo, Japan.
Within the next year, Draco has his hands full with the last thing that ties him to Harry Potter. One final child. One that Draco had initially panicked over; thinking the father could be James Sirius, only to remember that neither of the Potter sons had actually managed to cum inside him during that final sexual encounter.
A son that against all the odds, is born with Draco's features instead of Harry's. Draco names him spitefully, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. Scorpius quickly becomes Draco's reason for living. Draco spoils him rotten.
When Scorpius starts displaying feats of accidental magic, Draco quickly begins to teach him control techniques and wandless nonverbal magic. The time for an acceptance letter from a magical school comes and goes. Scorpius's name is not on any of their charters so he receives none. Draco home-school's his son for both his magical and non-magical education instead.
To keep Scorpius from becoming stilted in socialization with peers his own age, Draco enrolls him in clubs for many extracurricular activities. Draco spends that time apart from each other, either getting himself off with different selections from a sex toy collection he started building up for himself while still pregnant with Scorpius, or enjoying his own hobbies. Draco gets into a little bit of everything really.
He takes up web design, voice recording for audio-books, penning lyrics for score pieces for a record label that can then go on to be paired with singers to become proper songs, even works retail and fast-food at different points over the years. Having regained his freedom Draco doesn't want to let any day go to waste and tries to live them to the fullest.
Draco is sixty years old, walking home from an extended shift at a ramen shop, when he's ambushed by a vampire and turned.
Due to this, he has no choice but to disappear from a by then adult Scorpius's life; well, mostly. He cracks in three days and corresponds with his beloved son via letters delivered by the family house elves.
The vampire who turned Draco, feeds only off animals, and Draco resolves to live with him and his wife; until he's strong enough to fully control the natural urge for human blood.
Carlisle and Esme it turns out; are an unexpected blessing in his life. They are proof of the fact that any influence that might have been lingering upon him from Harry's magic is long gone. They are the first people to show an interest in him beyond simply wanting a good fuck since he regained his freedom.
By the time he reunites with Scorpius face to face for the first time since being turned, two years later over the Christmas Holidays; he's been in a polyamorous romantic and sexual relationship with Carlisle and Esme for thirteen months.
According to Alice, a member of their coven who has the abilities of a seer, the reason Carlisle sought him out and turned him is that they are (along with Esme) soulmates. Thus far, Draco is inclined to agree. He's never been happier. Carlisle and Esme fill a void in him he hadn't known existed, and they're helping the most wounded parts of his soul heal.
Scorpius and his muggle-born wife; are only forty five when they make the request to be turned. She is dying of a terminal muggle illness, and they don't wish to be parted from one another so soon. Twenty years later, the fifteen year old daughter they had to stop being a physical presence in the life of; responds at age thirty five, to one of their letters; asking to be turned along with her husband of three years.
She's suffering from the same terminal muggle illness that had once afflicted her mother and she and her husband also don't want to be parted from one another so soon. This time there is no child to leave behind which makes the transition to vampire life easier for them than it had been for Scorpius and his wife.
Draco is two hundred and fifty years old when he first visits the grave-sites of Harry, James Sirius, and Albus Severus. He leaves flowers on those of James Sirius and Albus Severus, and then carves the word 'Loser' into the back of the tombstone of Harry's. Ten years later he visits Ginny's grave-site, and carves the words 'Petty Bitch' into the back of her tombstone; then urinates and defecates all over it.
Some wounds just don't seem to heal, even with time. He doesn't know if a day will ever come; when he'll have recovered enough that he can honestly forgive either of his former "masters" for what they put him through, but he has plenty of time left in him now, and this is one chapter of his life he plans on not revisiting again any time soon. He has a far better chapter to continue to live out.
The End.
Chapter/Story End
A/N: I didn't think I would ever finish this, but I've managed. The Twilight Crossover honestly came out of nowhere. Sorry to those who dislike Twilight and would have preferred a different outcome. I'm really just glad that I could give Draco a happy-ish ending to the terrible pickle he'd found himself in. I'm not much of a fan of Dead Dove: Do Not Eat endgame stories so I'm especially glad I was able to find a way to not have this be one of those.
