D'S LITTLE GIRL.

Chapter 1

A/N: Ok people here's a little info. One I don't own Vampire Hunter D, all though I wish that I did, it belongs to Yoshitaka Amano (I think). I've had a lot of requests for this.

As I grew up, I would see my father once a year. He would always look at me weird. Uncle Dan would watch me thought the year; my father would always come on the same day. Each time I would bring up the subject of my mother, Uncle Dan would change subject and my father would never say anything. As I grew I heard stories from the villagers about my mother saying that she was bitten by a vampire and killed her self or that my father was a dampire and that he killed vampires.

I never gave much thought about what my father did when I was younger. But as the years passed I would start wondering. Finally on my 16th birthday, my father told at last, he sat down with me and gave me the whole truth about him my mother and my heritage.

"But father, why have you and Uncle Dan told me this before??"

"Because it was my fault that your mother has died. I love your mother; there are some of our kind that marries every so often, because they don't know about love. Here is the whole story, but listen carefully because i'm not going to tell you this once it is hard enough having to live with this in your head all the time.

: Flashback all the wavy lines and junk:

Doris was only about 24 when she had you. Your mother was bitten by Count Lee, he wanted to make her one of him then kill her after a hundred years or so. Doris was standing in middle of the road and tried to take my sword and horse. But when she found out that I was a vampire hunter, she asked me if I could help her. I said yes, we killed Count Lee after Doris all but told me that she loved me and asked me to stay here with them. But I told her that I would be here yearly and not to worry. She was about your age when we first met. About 8 years later I was coming back from chasing another vampire. I knew someone was following me, but all I cared about was getting to see Doris, that was the one thought that kept me through the year froming here and staying here. Doris came running out to me jumping into and hugging me. All I did was stand there and let her hug me. I told her I was going to go to the Counts castle to make sure that there was nothing going on there. I left for about 2 hours and when I came back. A vampire stood over her with blood dripping down his chin. I was in shock; I stood there for a minute or two not believing it. When I came out of the daze I killed the vampire with my sword. I picked up Doris and cleaned her up, I told her I was going to get Dan don't do anything. I raced to Dan and told him that I needed mine. But when we got there Doris killed herself with a sliver stake through the heart. Later that day we buried her, then Dan tossed the surprise that your mother had you about 2 weeks ago. I didn't want to believe it. As I stood over your crib, with your big black eyes staring at me like your mother's, I knew then that I wished that everything had been different."
