Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ Dilandau's Chaos ❯ Chaos! Could this be death? ( Chapter 1 )
From the Author: Yes, I finally got the inspiration to write something else! It's still Esca based, I'm sorry to say. I have an short Angel Sanctuary Fic in mind, but it hasn't quite come out yet. I also have another Esca fic, where Dilandau is just some fucked up little orphan on earth who can't determine dreams from reality. Anywho, Enjoy!
Dilandau lay in the cold, harsh room, blue light cast over his body. The Madoushi had left to let the sedatives take affect, so Dilandau was alone once again.
Alone.
He screamed again, and thrashed, trying to get out, trying to escape from these people that just didn't understand. He just wanted to go see his Dragon slayers, that's all he wanted. He was so incredibly lonely without them. He needed them, and he wanted to tell them before.
He screamed again. His energy was wearing thin, and he wouldn't be able to stay awake much longer. He felt someone else with him, and she wouldn't go away. She kept telling him to give up, and just give into fate.
Dilandau let out a few pathetic sobs, hoping that someone would come and get him off this cold table. He was sick of staring at the ceiling, and sick of being totally alone.
The drowsiness was taking effect. He closed his eyes reluctantly, letting the sleep take him over. Images flooded him, washed over him. They were comforting ones at least.
The Dragonslayers were all sitting in a tavern, drunk off of their asses. He saw himself walk in, and Gatti immediately stood and barked out "Attention!"
All the slayers stood, backs perfectly straight. They all stared ahead as if he wasn't there, but the fear in their eyes said otherwise.
"So why are you all here, and why was I not informed? Gatti informed me he was going to get a drink in town, but he never told me that the rest of you were going to be joining him.
"Sir, they were on their brake sir, so I invited them to come along.."
Dilandau laughed cruelly, and slapped them all once, knocking all but Gatti on their feet. Chesta gasped for breath, while Migel hid his rage, and Dalet snarled inwardly, but took it for fear of getting knocked down again.
"Back to the Vione, all of you. I want you training again, double time. Gatti, run maintenance checks on all the Alseides."
"Yes sir." He said, and bowed. The others remained on the ground, in kneeling position, praying that he wouldn't do more than that. There was an eerie silence from everyone in the tavern, but they all averted their attention from the Zaibach soldiers and went back to their drinking.
The slayers left the tavern, following their captian, each like baby ducks following the mother duck, with blind obedience and trust.
Then that faded away, and there stood that girl. That fucking whore that wanted his body.
"Give up, please.this is my body, and I want it back.I want to go back to my family, please, nothing good can come out of you fighting this."
//What the hell do you know, you fucking slut!? Just back off and let me be! I've had this body longer than you have, it's fucking mine! Just back off!//
The girl sighed, and shook her head. She closed her eyes, and Dilandau felt himself being contorted and misshapen, his mind being thrown into chaos, his body into nothingness.
He screamed and screamed, thrashed out wildly, but he couldn't see his hands even though he had them thrown out before him. He grabbed a katana that was no longer there, and thrashed at the calm, blonde girl. But it didn't affect her. He felt the non-existent sword rip her flesh, but it didn't show.
"You are too weak to fight it. You are in my mind, and I have control of you. Just give in."
He started sobbing. There was nothing else he could do. His world had been thrown and thrust up around him, tossed into a bubbling sea of madness without of a drop of reason.
He felt himself being suffocated, and screamed, thrashing at the sea around him. It was swallowing him whole, he was drowning.
//No, gods, please.help me.//
His world turned black. His mind was in complete turmoil, and his body didn't exist.
//Am I dead?//
He cried, but he felt no tears. He couldn't even feel himself breathing. There was only his mind, and the nothingness around him.
