Chapter Thirty-Eight

Seven months later, I was due any day now. The pregnancy went by great, so far, now for the hard part. Merle was now in charge of Fanelia but all important decisions had to be presented to Folken which was working out great. Aiko was going to be three in a few short months. Time sure flies.

Again just like last time Folken was watching me like a hawk.

The joyous and yet painful day cam when it was time for our new life to be brought into the world. Just like last time Folken ended up with a bloody hand.

We heard the sound of an infants cry. The doctor brought the baby to me.

"Congratulations Lady Hitomi and Lord Folken, it's a boy, a young beautiful prince."

"He so beautiful Folken he has brown hair and green eyes just like me."

"Aiko."

"Yes daddy."

"Come meet your new baby brother."

Aiko came up to her mother's side. "He's so tiny. What are you going to call him?"

"How about Van?" I suggested.

"Like Uncle Van?"

"Yeah, like Uncle Van."

"I think Van would be honored. Van it is, Van Fanel."

The Fanel family was now complete. Folken and I watched as our children grew up and leave home, so it was just us two to live out the rest of our days still in each others arms living our fairy tale life, and one thing I have learned was dreams come true, my life is proof of that.
