Genie in a Bottle

Van got out of bed feeling very tired. He started to rub his eyes in order to try and open them but they wouldn't open. He got into his ensuite bathroom and tried to open his eyes by splashing water on them. It helped a bit but he was hopelessly tired. It was a Saturday to which was one of the only days of the week, where he could just lie in bed and not worry about school.

But today he couldn't. He had to go and pick up his archaeologist brother, Folken from the airport. He had tried to beg his parents into letting him stay at home but his parents made him come with them to pick Folken up.

Why do I have to go? Van thought to himself. All mum and dad are going to do is say how amazing Folken is and how brave he is. The guy's 24 and I'm 17. What do you expect?

Van then went into the shower and turned the handle so the water would come out. When he turned it, a gush of lukewarm water hit him. He then pushed the shower gel bottle to get the gel to come out and then with his free hand he caught the gel with his hands. He then rubbed the gel onto his toned body and let the water wash it off. He then put the shampoo in his hair and rubbed it in and then rinsed it off with the water. He did this all with his eyes closed.

He then got out the shower and dried himself with a towel and wrapped himself with it. He then did his daily ritual, which was putting cleanser and moisturiser on his face. He then put his aftershave on and then last of all he combed his raven hair.

"Van, Hurry up or we'll be late picking up Folken," Varie yelled.

"I'll be ready in 5 minutes, mom," Van yelled. He then went into his room where he put on his black trousers and shirt. He then went running down the spiral stairs which was 10 minutes later.

"Mom," he yelled.

"In here," Varie yelled. Van walked into the lounge and saw his parents and Folken.

"What are you doing here? We are meant to be picking you up?" Van said shocked.

"I know put my plane arrived early so I thought I would surprise you guys," Folken smiled.

"You mean I woke up early on a Saturday for nothing," he said angrily.

"Sorry little bro," Folken said and grabbed Van's head and messed up his hair.

"Nice to know you care," Van said pushing Folken of.

"You've become strong, Van," Folken said surprised.

"Well that's what a 3 hour work out in the gym at home does to you, I thought I might as well use it seeing as nobody else uses it." Van said showing off.

"I'm impressed," Folken said. "Anyway I got you guy's presents." Folken then went into backpack and got out three boxes. "Here." Folken smiled as he gave one box to each of them.

Varie opened hers first, it was a gold necklace. Van's dad opened his next it was a silver frame. Van the opened his.

"What is it?" Van said looking at it weirdly.

"It's a bottle," Folken said. "I found it on one of my digs. Isn't it neat?"

"Yeah," Van said trying not to show his disappointment.

"How thoughtful Folken," Varie said and kissed her son on the cheek. "You're probably starving after not eating proper home cooked food for so long. I'll get the cook to make us a big breakfast." And with that Varie left to tell the cook followed by Van's dad.

"Van look after that bottle. It's meant to be quite a treasure. But we couldn't figure it out so the gave it to me so I thought I'll give it to you. See it even matches your room colour. Blue," Folken said.

"Thanks Bro. You're so thoughtful," Van said sarcastically. Folken didn't notice Van's sarcasm.

Van then went up to his room and put the bottle on his desk and then left to go and have a basketball game with Dryden and Gaddes.

The day went pretty well until Van saw Allen Shezar, his worst enemy. He hated Allen with a passion. He wanted to lay the smack down so hard on Allen. The guys just managed to hold Van back from punching Allen.

That night, before Van went to bed he turned of his computer and brushed his teeth. He then got into his bed and turned the light off. He saw a blue glow, which looked like it was coming from the bottle, folken had given him. He then turned the light on and got out of bed. He analysed the bottle.

Nothing's here. He thought. Until he saw what looked like tiny writing on it but it was covered up with something. So Van did the only thing he could think of and that was to rub the bottle. He rubbed it and rubbed until somehow the lid came of. Van Stopped.

That's weird
he thought. He then went and picked up the lid of the bottle, which had landed on the other side of the room. He then picked it up and turned around to where the bottle was. But to his surprise it wasn't just the bottle that was there but a girl in a blue sequin bikini. And he had to admit she was one beautiful girl. She had mid-long brown hair and one killer body. The thing that stood out about her the most was her green eyes.

"Master," she said in a delighted tone looking at Van.

"Me?" Van said pointing at himself.

"You're the one freed me from the bottle, right," she said.

"I suppose," Van said.

"Then you're my master," she said.

"What do I call you? My genie." he asked and sarcastically remarked. "I have to be dreaming." He said sitting on his bed

"No your not," she said and went over and pinched him.

"Oww," he yelled. "Why did you do that?"

"To show you that you're not dreaming and by the way you can call me Hitomi," she smiled. Van then lay back on his bed and sighed.

Ok what you guys think? Don't worry it's not going to be anything like Aladdin. Please Review.
