Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ I hate you ... My love .. ❯ Choices ( Chapter 1 )
Hi! What Am I supposed to say? Oh Yeah! The disclaimer! God why do we writers have to say the same thing all the time? (I know the answer; I'm just playing a little dumb!)
Disclaimer: I don't own Escaflowne or any of its original characters, which appear on the show, mangas or movie. But (and there's always a but) I own my characters, story and ideas. So don't even think about doing anything without my permission. (I'm not rude; I'm just on one of those days that you should not be writing disclaimers. Know what I mean?
Note: the lyric I'll use on this chapter is from a song I love very mush, but I don't know who sings it, or even the name of the song. But the song doesn't belong to me, so don't sue me. Probably the lyric is not well, because there are parts on the song I don't understand very well. Sorry!
I hate you … My love …
Chapter 1: Choices.
It's as a beautiful day in Fanelia, the sun shined high in the sky. It had everything to be a perfect day.
"Mommy, we're here! Which way is Fanelia mommy?" - a little boy asked as he pushed his mother's arm. His sister jumped from one side to the other, overjoyed by the view.
"We're not far my love! Fanelia is this way!" - she aimed to her right and the two little kids started running on that direction.
When the women prepared to go after them the birds started flying away like if they had been scared for something (or someone).
"Hume, Maboroshi!" - the women called out. The two kids stopped running and looked back to their mother who had a serious face. Something was wrong, very wrong.
"What's wrong mommy?" - the little girl asked.
"Climb up to one tree and stay here! No matter what happens!" - they nodded and climbed up the nearest tree with a surprising easiness.
The women took off her bag and placed it on the ground. Then she prepared to fight, armed with her sword.
She didn't have to wait mush. Soon sixteen men (for what she could see) attacked her for everywhere. That didn't scare her a bit.
'Wish you were here,
Me or my, come to men,
Wish you were here (I wish you were here)'
With mush easiness she got read of them all, almost immediately.
'I miss your life,
I miss your smile
I miss …
Everything about you!'
When she turned to go get her daughter and son, she was just in time to see them being taken prisoners by a Guymelef.
'Every second is like a minute,
Every minute is like a day,
When you're far away!'
"WAIT!" - the Guymelef flew in the air, with the unconscious bodies of her babies. Without thinking twice the women opened her wings and flew in the air, after the black Guymelef.
"Amazing!" - a voice said. "A perfect warrior, who happens to be a Draconian too! What could be better than this?"
'Wish you were here!
The nights are getting colder baby,
And I miss you like hell
And I'm felling blue!
From the first time
I laid my eyes on you …'
The women got closer and closer to the Guymelef. She was flying so fast in its direction that she had no time to avoid the hand of the same Guymelef, wish threw her hardly to the forest field bellow.
"Perfect warrior my ass! Look how easily she was defeated master!" - another men's voice spoke.
"Easy! Nothing is over, until it's over, my old friend!"
The women got up from the ground, and she had no scratch on her.
"What were you saying?" - the younger man said giggling.
"But master, nothing could've survived that!"
The first men moved the visionary a little to the left and got closer to the women. There he found what he had expected to see.
"A perfect warrior in every aspects! She's an Healy too!"
The women got up and flew once again, after the Guymelef, leading her to and abandoned fort somewhere between Fanelia and Asturia.
She landed. Hate flooded from her eyes, seeing her babies prisoners inside a cage.
"Welcome to Negari! My name's Luktor, and as you can see, I'm the one who's holding your babies prisoners!" - he said as he swung the key to the cage in the air. - "I have a proposition to make! You work for me as my soldier and they both live. What do you say? Am I not generous?" - he said with a big grin planted on his stupid face.
She wanted so badly to kill him, but she knew there was nothing she could do. He had an entre army at his feet. She had no choice.
"I'll do it!" - she said almost as a whisper.
"I knew you would see things my way!" - he laughed loudly, increasing her hate even more. - "By the way, what's your name?"
"Memientes, my name's Memientes!" - she said harshly.
"Memientes, welcome to MY world!" - his voice echoed in her ears for long, too long

'Wish you were here …'
"Van!" - her voice brought him back to reality. - "They're waiting for you! And what the Hell are you doing here?" - he smirked and got up from the bed.
"You talk like if this was your room! Besides it's MY palace, so I do whatever I want!"
"Don't get all mad over me! I just think this is of no use to you!" - she said sadly.
"I know that Chris, but it makes me fell a lot better, by coming to her room."
"Van!" - Chris called out. - "Kamatary and Yuki went on shopping, so no training today!"
"Ok for me!" - he left the room, closing the door behind him.
Chris inspected the room, witch had once belonged to her best friend.
On the bed laid her Cd-palyer and her diary, which he had left open.
"Backa!" - Chris closed it and put it back on the table.
Ah! Confusing? Not so! You'll understand most of it on the next chapter. See you
And by the way! This whole thing is set six years after Marta's return t Earth.
