Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ I hate you ... My love .. ❯ I'm a DADDY? ( Chapter 13 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Helloooo, everyone! How are you felling today! Well I'm fine, actually yesterday I wasn't! My mom pissed me off and if there's one thing I don't like, that's to fight with my mother over stupid mattes. You know, I've noticed that in this age we fight allot with mother. Why is that? My mother says it's because I'm grown up now, and grown up women eventually argue allot. But that's stupid! I'm mean can you believe she argued with me just because I putted too much water when I was cocking Chicken? That's the most unbelievable thing I've ever heard of in my life. But, at least we don't argue that much, after all, we love each other, and I know my mom needs my support right now. (Tough times in Portugal!).

Wait! Why am I telling you all this? I'm sorry, this is not a church for me to come and confess, and you surely aren't a priest. Right?

Well, anyways, along with the story, but first the thanks:

POGO THE KOSHER PENGUIN, you know you have a funny name right? Sorry! That was so out of place. Anyway, thanks for reviewing each and every chapter. You're the best. By the way, can you believe that I completely forgot I had said who Memientes was? Am I stupid or what? Gah! I ruined my own game! Anyway, you still don't know how can there be Kamatary and Marta, now do you? Ha! I think I'll tell you all in this chapter, and by the way, Luktor IS Satsu's father, YES! Ureshiu was deeply in love with him, and so was he, but he had to do what he's doing now (which I'll explain why later on), and Ureshiu didn't understand, so she left him, but never told anyone that she knew of his plan, because deep down she still loved him. (Am I sweet or what?)

LEAH, thank you so, so much for every word you said. You're so sweet! (Even more than me!), I hope you write more emails, saying that you still love my story. Please! Anyway, Thanks! :p

Well, that's all for now, and I hope you congratulate me! It's only been a week since I last update, which means, I'm going faster. YUPPIE! HURRAY! Now Read & Review!

Chapter 13: "I'm a Daddy?" _ Van

[Last Chapter]

"Memientes?" - he asked, now fully awake.

"We have to change plans! Do everything, but do not inform me of anything! Do not think of it while you are close to Luktor, for he can read minds, especially mine! Yuki had the baby two hours ago, a boy! Goodnight!" - she said that all in one breath and then walked off. Probably afraid that Luktor would catch her in his room at this time of night.

It took a while for Akai to get everything she said, but when he did a big smile formed in his lips. He walked inside his room and closed the door. In two seconds, you could hear a big 'YUPPIE' coming from inside.

[Last Chapter]

Next morning, In Fanelia:

Van walked in hurried steps, to the dinning room (Wow, I just noticed. Do kings have all the meals in the same dinning room?). He was so mad, so pissed off, that you could almost see smoke coming from his hears.

He hadn't slept at all last night, not only because he wanted to keep an eye on the children, but also because he was thinking about what Memientes had told him last night. And on top of that, he thought that she looked oddly familiar … too familiar. He needed answers, and quick. And he knew exactly who would give them to him.

He opened the door that leaded to his dinning room and everyone at the table looked up at him.

He had his eyes red from lack of sleep, and he had a mad expression in his face. They all shivered when he started questioning, or should I say … yelling.

"Where is Kamatary?" - they all stood silent for a while, and he directed his cold glare to Sergio, Kamatary's husband. - "I'm waiting!" - he said almost teasingly.

"She is not felling well! She needs to rest!" - he said slowly. Van could see he too hadn't got much sleep last night.

"When she wakes up, tell her that I WANT to speak with her URGENTLY! Did I made myself clear?" - even if the question was only directed to Sergio, all those who were at the table nodded, as if afraid of Van's sudden rage. - "Good!" - with that he left the room, leaving them all looking at the closed doors, still shocked.

As soon as Van left the dinning room, he was surrounded by three of his older advisors. He sighed frustrated and rolled his eyes in disgust. All he didn't need right now was his boring advisers filling his mind with problems he did not care at the moment.

"Your majesty, have you already decided?" - the first and youngest asked. Van's eyes snapped open. He had completely forgot about that.

"No!" - the four bowed and three of them started walking off. Only the youngest remained.

"I thin you know what we are about to do? Tonight we will inform you about who shall be your new Queen!" - he bowed and left after the others.

Van did not know why, but he felt empty inside. He knew that sooner or latter this would happen, but it all looked so … sudden. He sighed and started walking back to the kids' chambers. At least, the children might be able to cheer him up.

Van remembered that Satsu had come in the room early in the morning, the two children hadn't yet awoken. Then Van had left to take a shower and than go meet the others at Dinning room, to take breakfast. And now he remembered, he hadn't even eaten yet.

His stomach growled and he couldn't contain a nervous laugh. He looked around, to see if there was any one who could've heard it, but there was no one. He sighed in relief and continued his way.

When he opened the door and peeked inside, he saw no one. The bed was already made (is that how you say it? Argh! This is so annoying. Not knowing how to say a word!), and everything was neat and cleaned. Van wondered if he had missed the right room. He was about to get out, when he noticed that the Banister's windows were open. He walked in and closed the door behind him.

"Ah! Don't do that! Get down Hume! It's dangerous!" - he heard a tiny little voice say from outside the widow.

"You worry too much! Just watch!" - another voice said, but this one slightly stronger.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" - Van ran up to the banister, waiting for the unexpected. What he saw made him smile. The girl was with her hands over her eyes, as her brother did some tricky and dangerous stuff on top of the banister's railing.

"You're no fun! Even if I did fall, I could always use my wings! Uou!" - he waved his hands in front of sisters, trying to take her off her trance. She snapped out of it.

"You …" - she grabbed him by the collar and dozed him from one side to another, making him extremely dizzy. Van couldn't stop a smile and a small giggle. And that caught both kids attention.

They just stood there, wide eyes and mouths wide open, staring at him, as if he was a ghost.

Van noticed this, and he spoke first. - "Hi! I'm Van, Van Fanel! You …" - Van's words were cut short when the little girl ran up to him and hugged on to his waist, crying. Van was shocked, and didn't know what to do. He looked up at he girl's twin brother for help, but found out that he was crying also. - "What? Did I do something wrong?" - the boy didn't answer. Instead, he just walked to Van and hugged on to his waist too. Van was amazed, confused and above all, lost. «What the hell should I do?» - he asked himself in his mind. He didn't even knew why the kids were crying, so how could he do something to help them. «I'm the one who needs help!» - Van picked them both up and carried them to the bed inside. They were both now crying in his chest. Van felt odd around them. It was like he knew them, but at the same time he knew he had never seen them before. So why did he feel so ... close to them both. He snapped out of his thoughts, when the little girl spoke against the crock of his neck.

"Daddy!"

Van got up suddenly, startling both kids. His eyes were wide and he was shivering a little. - "What did you say?" - the girl repeated and he nodded his head no. - "I'm sorry but I'm not your father!" - Van stated calmly.

"Yes you are! Mommy told us all about you! Aren't you Van Fanel, King of Fanelia, a draconian, just like us?" - he was surprised at her words, but he still did make his point clear.

"I have never met your mother before this war began! I'm really sorry, but, although I fit that description, I am not your father."

"Yes you are!" - the little girl yelled between tears. Van wanted to go and hug her, but something stopped him.

"Mother's name is not Memientes!" - the boy said in a serious way. Van looked at him questioningly. - "Memientes means 'You lie to me' in Spanish! Mother's real name is Marta, Marta Costa! Also known in here as Kamatary Nigero!" - Van smiled at this.

"I'm sorry Hume, but I only know one Kamatary, and she's living here, at the Palace. There's no way your mother can be Kamatary!" - Hume sighed and continued.

"There is an ancient Egyptian Ritual, which was usually used to separate the demon from within a cursed person, releasing her from all evil." - Hume started. Van just heard silently to each of his words. - "Mother, knew the power of the ancient Pendent that held the powers of all Draconians, and tired of Kamatary's stubbornness, decided to do the ritual, to separate both of them. It worked perfectly, and luckily we both stayed inside mother, and did not get separated into Kamatary as well! Mother and Kamatary lived happily. Auntie found Sergio and they got married. But Auntie never forgave mother because she had great part of her Healy power. Kamatary could not have babies, and as days went by she became more and more enraged at mother. Mother, on the other side, pitied aunt and promised to help her in any means possible but it all failed, and auntie did never get pregnant. The pendent had lost many of its power when used at the ritual, but after four years, it had enough to get us back on Gaea. At least that was what mother thought. But Auntie knew otherwise, she knew that the pendent could only bring two at a time, and so she asked for her and Sergio to come first. And mother agreed. After that, mother tried it with us, but it did not work, and we were forced to stay for two more years, until the pendent regained strength once again. Then we got here, sis and me were captured and locked up. Luktor told mother that if she did not obey his orders, he would kill us. And the rest you already know! Right, dad?" - Van stood there, with his mouth wide opened and his eyes staring out to nowhere. Before he even noticed it, tears started falling from his eyes. Tears of joy.

"Daddy!" - the girl stretched her arms out and Van didn't think twice before hugging them both and crying out just like a baby. He had never been so happy in his entire life. He kissed them both on the forehead and cheeks, and both child just smiled and laughed as their father started tickling them.

"I Can't believe you're real!" - Van said, still between tears. He hold up Mabaroshi's face between his hands and kissed her nose, and than did the same to Hume. They both smiled, trying to stop the tears that were coming from their own eyes. - "Ever since your mother left Gaea, I dreamed of the day I'd meet you. When Kamatary came back, married and not being able to bare child, I lost all hope, and you became nothing more than a dream. And now you're real, my babies are real!" - they all joined in a big family hug. - "I'll never leave you again! And your mother! As soon as she gets back, I'll marry and we'll be a happy family, just like we should always had been! Ok?" - they both nodded and Van wiped away their tears, as he did to his own. - "No more crying ok? Come with me! You've got lots to see!" - he took both their hands and they got out of the room, happily.

As they walked past the guards, Van announced them as being the heirs to the crown. At first, both guards thought that the king was only sleepy, but when they noticed the resemblance between the three they bowed in respect. Hume and Maboroshi giggled at that.

Van walked up to the meeting room, where he knew all his Council was, deciding on who should be the perfect Queen. Van smiled when the though that he did not have to marry one of those annoying princess, stroked his mind. When the guards, guarding the door saw him they bowed and opened the door for him and both kids. The kids smiled at the guards and bowed. The guards smiled back.

When the council heard the doors open, they all looked up to find their king with two kids in hand. (Sounds like supermarket stuff, doesn't it?)

"Your majesty!" - they all got up respectfully and bowed. Van stopped where he was.

"Sit down please!" - they did as told and then directed their looks to him and his company. - "I have reasons to believe you were discussing who is to be my future Queen. Am I correct?" - they all nodded in agreement. - "Well, I've got news for you! Very good news!"

Aha! My first cliffhanger, although you know what's going to happen, so this is not a big deal of a cliff right? Wow, I'm a disaster!

So did you like it? I know it's short … but sweet! Right? I almost cried when I was writing that part of hugging and babies and *buah*. Well, I say almost, but I did really cry. But I know it's lame. LAME! And I'm really sorry for that! Next chapter will be the last one, and it will probably be the longest, so it can take two weeks to come out. So just review, for your and my own sake, ok? Good!

Bye, bye.
