Well you never thought that you would live to see it, but here it is for your viewing pleasure, part 2. You know well enough that I don't own Escaflowne or any of the characters. Anyway here's part two and I hope you enjoy it. And as always your two cents, whether you know it or not, count so please review.

Part two

“Dammit Gatti I've taught you better than that! Viole! Boy you'll be running laps for that one and where the hell is Chesta? Roared Dilandua as he made his way around the grounds. His messenger vainly trying to keep up with his Lord as he had important documents that needed to be taken care of. “Dallet!”

Dallet, who was in the middle of a sword fight with Miguel, stopped and quickly ran to his upset Lord.

“Yes Lord Dilandua.”

“Go find Chesta now.” Dilandua ordered as he stopped to sign a document.

“umm sir I don't-“

“You don't what? Are you questioning me?” Dilandua took a step towards his subordinate.

“No Lord Dilandua”

“Then what the hell is it?” the tone in Dilandua's voice was now mixed with a hint of irritancy as he stared down Dallet.

“Sir. Chesta is still in the infirmary, he won't be out-“

But a blow to his face rudely interrupted Dallet, as he fell to the ground in a big thud. Dilandua knelled over the hunched solider and whispered in his ear.

“It would be in your best interest to listen to me and do what I say! Do I make myself clear?”

Dallet let out a slight groan and nodded his head. Not being satisfied with this, Dilandua kicked Dallet in the ribs. All the slayers stopped what they were doing and looked over at the two. Dilandua crouched down and grabbed Dallet's hair tilting his head back so he could see him.

“I didn't hear you.”

Dallet managed to choke out a weak “yes…sir”

Dilandua got up and smiled down at his beaten solider. “Good now go get Chesta!” Dilandua turned around and snapped his fingers. Quickly his messenger joined him and he continued with his business.

Dallet held onto his side as he attempted to get up.

“Slayers back to practice.” Yelled Dilandua

All the slayers quietly went back to what they were doing, except for Miguel who went over to help Dallet.

“Don't help him up! Help him and I swear Miguel you'd wished you hadn't.”

Miguel gave Dallet a sympathetic look before backing away.

Dallet slowly got up and proceeded to the infirmary. Dallet cursed himself for talking out of place. Even more so now as the infirmary was clear on the other side. Dallet took slow steps as he made his way. Any other time going down these hallways wouldn't mind Dallet, but because it was so early in the morning, not all the lights in the Vionne had been turned on. Without the lights the hallway was very dark and gloomy and gave off an almost eerie feeling. Dallet quickened his pace hoping to get there faster. About 5 minutes later, Dallet saw himself at the infirmary and felt a big relief. At that same moment, the doors to the infirmary opened to reveal Chesta, and he was dressed in his uniform. Dallet then heard noises coming from the room.

“Come back here, you're not well enough yet.” Said what appeared to be a doctor.

“I'll be fine, I need to get to training.” Chesta looked up and saw Dallet.

“Dallet what are you doing here?” Chesta said as he took a step forward, but being still too weak he leaned against the wall for support.

Dallet quickly went over to Chesta. “I was sent by Lord Dilandua to come retrieve you.” Said Dallet as he took hold of Chesta's forearm and helped him to stand up.

“It's ok Dallet, tell Lord Dilandua I am on my way.”

“I'm sorry we cannot permit you to leave.” Said the Doctor who was standing behind them. “You will need at least 3 more days I the infirmary.”

Chesta looked back at the doctor. “You don't understand, Lord Dilandua needs me at training. I can't stay here.”

Just then a nurse came running out of the infirmary and whispered something to the doctor. “Oh I see.” Said the doctor as he turned to Chesta. “Stay right there. Do you hear me stay right there I'll be back shortly.” As the two watched the doctor and the nurse return to the room, Chesta looked back at Dallet.

“Dallet can you help me?”

“Um Chesta I think that you need to listen to the doctor.”

“Look if I don't show up, you'll get into trouble and Dilandua will more than likely kill me. So you see I don't have much of a choice.”

“Yes you do.” Said Dallet

“Oh and what would that be?” I know I'll just kill myself now and save Dilandua the trouble.”

“That won't be necessary.”

Both the slayers turned around and saw Folken standing in front of them.

(Meanwhile at training)

“All right listen up, Miguel and I will be doing a demonstration and I'll advise you all to pay attention because each of you will have to come before me and show me what you have learned.”

“If you didn't know any better, you'd think the sun rises and falls on Miguel.” Whispered Gatti to Guimel. Guimel glanced at Gatti and they both snickered. They both stopped at once though when they saw Lord Dilandua coming up to them.

“Is there something else you two would like to add?” asked Dilandua, who was now standing right in front of the two.

“No Sir.” They both said in unison.

“Good, then you two wouldn't mind being the first to go seeing as though you both know what to do. I mean you feel confident enough that you feel you don't need to listen to me. I mean I'm only the fucking teacher.” Dilandua turned around and took a couple of steps away from them. He was quiet for a second and then just as quickly turned back around and marched up to them again. “I know, maybe I should let you two take over with training hmm?” Dilandua peered at the two.

“No Sir” was there response.

Dilandua snickered. “No? Then why don't you SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN TO ME WHEN I'M SPEAKING.”

“Yes Sir.”

(Back at the infirmary)

“I've checked him over and he needs a few more days.” Said Lord Folken to the doctors. “Make sure he gets a lot of fluids and rest.”
“Yes, thank you Lord Folken.”

Folken nodded and turned to the table to his left. He took a piece of paper and pen from the table and began to scribbled something on it. When he was done he handed it over to Dallet.

“I need you to deliver this to Lord Dilandua. He won't be happy but that is to be expected.” Dallet nodded and walked out of the infirmary with the note. Folken turned and looked at Chesta who was lying in bed. “Rest Chesta and don't worry.”

“Sir.”

(Back at training)

“Well I can see someone was not paying attention. Okay Guimel get up! We'll try this again.”

Guimel quickly stood up.

“Take your stance and remember fake to the right then-“ Dilandua looked over at the door and saw Dallet. All the slayers watched as Dallet approached Dilandua and presented him with a note.

“What the hell is this?” said Dilandua as he read the note.

“What!Folken!…Miguel!”

Miguel stepped forward. “Yes sir?”

“Take over training. I have some business to attend to.”
