Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ Salvation: In the Arms of The Angels ❯ chapter 7(part a) ( Chapter 8 )
A/N: No comments besides writer's blocks are the evilest of the evilest of evil…things…um...yeah…
Disclaimer: Man, you guys must be getting tired of these? I do not own anything from Escaflowne and I don't own the Chillingham Castle of Chillingham England. (That was a mouthful) or any of the characters in my story; yes Ashtik, Deziree and Heather (I'm only using what she looks like though, in reality she wouldn't think twice about kicking those guy's knees in) are real people so if you have a problem with their personalities, your gonna have to take it up with them (trust me, you don't want to: S)

"This is SO not happening!" Heather grumbled as she turned around in a circle looking around her, "where in the world are we now?" She kicks at a stone making it skid across the ground only to sail over the edge of the steep drop off the hill that was only meters away.
The surrounding country side was seemingly barren of any human life. Populated of only woods and fields and a road that lead into thick brush that surrounded on all but one side of the field she stood in, while the others lay asleep still from the `ride'.
A few scattered groans did she hear amongst the short minutes they had been here. Heather had awoken almost immediately after they landed. She had wakened up to being hungry, cold, wet from the early morning dew, and she needed to go to the bathroom. To say the least, she was in a not so good mood.
"Arg! Who ever keep's on doing this to us could have at least send us provisions with us!"
"Would ya mind keeping it down? Your ranting is like, so not helping my beauty sleep." Ashtik looked lazily up at her agitated friend.
Heather was about to retort something about starving to death (which would have ashtik on her feet in world record time) but she bit her tongue when something hard hit her head.
She rubbed her crown as she mumbled a few curses that should never be repeated. She looked down to see what cause her so much pain; she picked it up and fumed inside at what ever higher power that was putting them through such misery.
"I ask for provisions and they send me a FLASH LIGHT?! Is this some sort of sick joke gone too far?! You've got to be kidding me." She put her left hand to her forehead in frustration and rubbed her temples. "Ok, this is just some bad dream and I'm gonna wake up any minute now…..any minute…..now....please? Oh come on, it's not like I'm asking much people!"
"Shut up!" yelled just about everyone that didn't realize they were in the middle of no where.
And Heather was going to point that out, "Oh your awake anyways so what does it matter?! We are in the middle of no where so the least you could do is WAKE UP!"

Heather woke up groggily (he he he, wasn't expecting that now were you?), her twin size bed was so warm and comfortable that she didn't want to wake up just yet but the persistence of a voice saying, well more like yelling, wake up would not stop shaking her.
"Heather, Wake Up!" Said the voice again, how she wanted to hit whatever it was right now.
"Here, let me try." Another voice; heads were gonna roll for this.
Just then she was hauled to her feet and slapped across the face. She was now wide awake and looking around confused wondering where her bed was, for that matter anything besides seemingly wilderness.
"So it wasn't a dream!" She groaned and put a hand to her forehead wishing for this real life nightmare to end and that she was really at home in her bed.
"Afraid not Honey. This is as real as it gets, even though we don't want it to be." Deziree was standing to her left while Dilandau held Heather up by her upper arms glowering down at her. Her cheek still throbbed from his wake up call; how she wished to make him pay. Just one well placed hit with her knee…
"Well? Are you going to stand now or do I have to drop you to get some sense into you?" His harsh tone knocked her out of her vengeful day dream.

"So where exactly are we now?" asked Heather after Dilandau was hopefully out of hearing range; she did not like that `over-grown peacock' (or so she called Dilandau) very much at all, she thought him far too arrogant for any good.
"How would I know? Do I look like a map to you?" Deziree answered with a hotly air of indignation.
"Do I have to answer that?" giggled Heather while her friend half growled and half sighed.
"Look around! Figure it out your self, you're the brainy one!" Deziree turned away and crossed her arms over her chest in frustration.
"Whatever you say you're Highness, wink wink nudge nudge." Heather jibed at Deziree only to get a growled reply that she couldn't make out.
Deziree in a disgruntled mood stormed off leaving Heather to own fancies.
