I used the Characters from the Awesome Japanese anime Escaflowne. But Besides that, I was the one that wrote this Fan-fic.... no one else ok?!? So... don't hurt me...



Chapter 1. A NEW BEGINNING



She woke early to go run like she does every day. A 22 year old woman in college...far different from her high-school years when she was only 16. She has changed a-lot in wisdom and in her form, from a small little girl to a woman. Her curves were now shaped and smooth unlike the figure she had in high school, which resembled more like a stick than a body. Her now long blond hair nicely wrapped in a ponytail. She had something on her mind that day...no....a feeling...and it just wouldn't go away... she thought about her past when she stopped running and smiled... "He was so kawaii, his smiles made me melt like butter and yet it has been what 6 years since I saw him." she ended the thought with a faint sigh. Everything flowed back...the time when she finally knew in her heart that they loved each other

*Flashback*

She knew what she had to do.... he was calling her back she relived the time when they first met. She told Amano-kun to count her time as she ran she was almost at her time...11 seconds. She knew what was going to happen and her heart jumped. A pillar of light suddenly appeared with Van on the back of Escaflowne. She couldn't stop herself she ran to him and jumped into his arms. "Van...I am so sorry that I didn't figure it out earlier.... and I want you to know that I love you too." They embraced as they were headed back...back to Gaea.

*End flashback*

Her hand raised up and slapped her forehead... "Kami-samma why can't I for once think about something else other than Van?" she said to herself. A smile grew on her face.... "Van..." she sighed "...his black raven hair..his cocky attitude even though it pissed me off at times....his smile.......I miss you so much but I cant keep living like this! I guess that gap called "Space" is what I used an excuse to forget you to move on.... but I can't. You would have guessed that after 6 years I would have moved on... I didn't I just wanted my heart to stop hurting and regretting what I did.. So I guess that's I stopped contacting you 2 years at..." "HITOMI-CHAN!!!!" Her thoughts were interrupted by a girl her age holding the hand of her once high school crush.... that was until she met... "HITOMI-CHAN!!!! Wake-up already!! Amano-san and I have been ready for oh...an hour already!! So..........STOP RUNNING AND LETS GO!!" She stopped in her tracks and smiled as she said to the girl "Yukari!!! You're back from the America's!! Why the hell didn't you tell me that you were coming back to Japan??...And how did you know I would be here? ...Um…On our old high school track course??" Hitomi asked with joy yet confusion in her eyes. "Hello! I am your best friend Baka!! I should know that you can't forget your little memories that easily!" she winked at Hitomi.

The day she came back to Earth she ran over to Yukari's and told her why she was gone for 3 months. Yukari believed her and supported her on Van and that they would find a way...but that was before Amano her the day he got back from the America's to be with him. So she left at the end of the week with Amano...and after that they started to loose touch…Yukari was too busy and Hitomi was just overflowing with work, but she knew that it was just too hard for them both since they were long off. "Well?? Hurry up! Come on let's go...I need to talk to you about something." Yukari's face became red as her embarrassment grew. Then something small twinkled on Yukari's hand...like a jewel.... Hitomi knew what it was when it started to reflect the light to her eyes.... she sprinted towards her laughing and smiling. When she allowed Yukari and Amano to breathe she asked "Yukari-chan....when is the big day" she gave her a little wink and smiled. " 3 days from now" escaped from Yukari's lips as she looked up knowing the expression that would soon plaster on Hitomi's face…and she was right. "Hey don't look at us like we're on crack or something, we tried to tell you but you were never home or in the dorms. so its not entirely our fault Hitomi." said Amano...his voice was a little cracked and his face was now 5 shades of red. " I am so happy you two are together!!! AWWW!! Now all I need is for my man to come!" she said with a wink and was about to walk away when she felt someone grab her arm. "Hitomi...lets talk at the mall ok???" Yukari's eyes were pleading to know what bothered her...and all Hitomi could do was nod and smile.

"Hitomi... what's wrong??...Oh.............you miss him.... don't you...I know it's true.... cause...I can see it in your eyes..................don't give him up...try to find a way because...you two are in love...promise me that you won't give up!" Yukari said softly her words made Hitomi want to cry.... she looked over at Yukari who looked back at her and smiled then took a lick of her ice cream....... "I miss him Yukari I do.............but.......how can I go back to him??" she fought back the tears but they wouldn't listen "How? remember I gave him the pendant!!" Hitomi screamed trying her hardest to stop the tears that were blurring her vision with failure. She became silent as Yukari took this chance she whispered to her softly "It wasn't the pendant that got you there....it was your heart.....just think about it ne?" and for the rest of the day they tried to enjoy their time together. About midnight Yukari and Amano dropped off Hitomi who was still thinking.......thinking about..........Van.....

As she was leaving the car she whispered into Yukari's ear.... "if I do find a way back before your wedding I want you to know now that I wish you two the best of luck......and if I do go back Ii also want you to know that this will also be a goodbye.......ill miss you.........but tell my family for me when I'm gone ne? Bye" and with that she closed the door and waved goodbye.. ...... she walked back into her dorm room....and she started to cry...was this regret??. "Van...........I want to be with you again...I...want to hold you, and I want you to know, that...I…well I......still love you." as soon as those words left her quivering lips her body was suddenly engulfed by a bright blue pillar of light and in the next instant she was gone...........she was going back...

A young man paced up and down in the throne room.....he was the King the King of the country called Fanelia. The history books always told the story and about how he and a woman from the Mystic moon saved Gaea from destruction......with their pure love. Dating about six years ago. "think it was only 6 years ago... I am not a teenage boy anymore I now have new responsibilities." thought the young man. wisps of his raven colored hair fell into his face. He was 23 now his old red tank top and khaki pants were not suitable for the King. His body was now muscular and strong like they were carved from rocks. His face looked the same yet....he looked more like a man......a man that been through a lot...a man who was in pain yet was proud and righteous.

He looked around...he was still in a conference and now since he was 23 years old the counsle men were nagging him about his Queen to be..... and when he would get over that Hitomi girl. He was just about to scream when one of the men...the oldest to be precise named Jeriah said to the King in a stern manner "Lord what must be done must be done........i am sorry if you might have to marry someone you don't love but for the sake of Fanelia.... what will happen if you don't have an heir to the throne?" the king thought for a while "the old man has a point....Hitomi where are you?? I don't want it to end this way!"he pushed his thoughts aside as he dismissed the men and sat on his throne....thinking when his thoughts were interrupted by a young cat woman..... 21 years of age slender and tall. Her hair was a light pinkish color that ended in the middle of her back... she walked in and curtsied towards him in a polite manner. "Merle......your back. How was the trip?" he said as he smiled at her.....Merle.....his long time best friend.....she looked up and smiled as she ran towards him in an adolescent manner screaming "VAN-SAMMA!! I had so much fun! thank you......thank you.....thank you!!!" <God she can act like a little child sometimes............ she is like a little sister... I know how she feels towards me.......but I cant because I love Hitomi... and.. I will never give up on that love.> He pushed the idea into the back of his head and as the hug ended, a smile shone on her face... "Van.... I need to unpack but.... I must talk to you....alone." with that she left the room. <I need a break from this King stuff..> he groaned and walked off to the courtyard to fetch his horse and to ride off so he could watch the stars.

As he got off his black horse he saw a shooting star...and he smiled as he whispered under his breath.. <Hitomi..... please come back to me...... I want to see your face to touch your hair.......i just want to hold you...I wish you were here..> He laid down in a soft patch of grass.... he held his breath and wished deep within his soul "Hitomi I want you no I wish you could be here with me right now." He laid there for an hour about what to do and how to hold off the counsle men..he got up slowly...but as he was walking back to his horse....a blue pillar of Light came down where he was laying down a few minutes ago. his eyes had to know who this person was. t hen he saw a figure in the pillar of light. "Nani??a woman?" ... his heart skipped a beat as he mouthed the words Hitomi?....... The pillar soon lifted. He started to slowly walk towards the still body......fearing that it might not be her..... yet hopping and wanting this figure to be her. "Hitomi?? is that you?" Hitomi was still dizzy from the trip but when she heard the voice she perked up and whispered... "Hai...." her brain kicked in as she realized who this stranger could be "Van......is it really you?...." she threw her arms around the figure and cried with joy.....this was just too much for her and she fainted. He hugged her and gently kissed her forehead....then he noticed the difference when she was in his arms...this Hitomi had long flowing beautiful hair not the short bob cut he knew, a nice curving figure.. and he stared at her face and his heart skipped...she ...was..........beautiful..no she could pass for a goddess.... then he noticed that she had fainted so everything he carefully lifted her up he then took off his shirt and allowed his wings to spread and with that, he carried her back to the castle. "She feels so warm.....so comforting....and now....that you are back I will never let you go....ever again..." he said to himself " leaned in and kissed her then with a sigh. He looked at Hitomi who was still in his arms asleep and his eyes softened.. "Kawaii"
