Chapter 3
Discovery
The next day was like any other, or so it seemed to be to the other slayers. They went about their daily routines and duties, not relizing that Damia was the most cheerful that they had ever seen her. This changed that evening. As Chesta made his way towards the main chamber that night, he came across her. "Hi Damia. Why are you in such a good mood?" He asked as she strolled by him. "No reason....." She said, though it was obvious that she was quite distracted. Chesta raised an eyebrow at her, but she didn't notice. He shrugged, and entered the main chamber as Damia made her way towards the dormitorys. "You take that back!" Dalet yelled as he entered. "Why should I? It's true." Miguel taunted at the furious dragonslayer. "I DO NOT LOOK LIKE A GIRL!!" He shouted back. "Prove it. I know, why don't we race? If you win, I won't call you a girly man anymore. If I win, I get to cut your hair how ever I want." Miguel said with a sly smile. "I have nothing to prove to you!" He said, taking an involuntary step back. "Oh sure, wouldn't want you to break a nail." Miguel said. This was to much for Dalet who said "You're on!" Miguel smiled at him and said "We race in the hall. We'll start from the door of the main chamber and stop at the dead end. Is that too long a run for you, girly man?" Dalet glared at him and stomped out into the hallway. "On your mark! Get set! Go!" said Voile as the two started sprinting down the wide hall. Everyone knew that Dalet was faster then Miguel, but they also knew that when it came to challenging Dalet in tests of speed Miguel would cheat. All, of course, except for poor Dalet. As he passed Migul, Ryoun stuck his foot out and made Dalet trip. All of the slayers were laughing except for Dalet as Miguel easily won the race. "CHEATERS!!" Dalet fumed at all of them. "You're just mad because you lost." Miguel said with a grin, and he unshethed his sword. "No! You cheated!" Dalet said, putting his hands on his head. "Now, Now Dalet. You must go along with this. You DID agree." Miguel said, approuching Dalet with his sword. "NOT IF YOU CHEATED!!!!" He yelled. The other slayers laughed and dragged a thrashing Dalet back into the main chamber. "You should have said that before we started." Miguel taunted lightly as he followed them in. "I'm going to cut his head instead of his hair if you don't hold his still!" He said as the three slayers trying to hold Dalet down as he thrashed even harder. "What's wrong Dalet-kun?" He said as five other slayers held him down on the couch. Dalet shuddered as Miguel teasingly slid the flat of his sword gently over his hair. "Don't you dare!" Dalet struggled for all he was worth. "I'm thinking your hair should be a lot shorter..." Miguel said, smiling. "No.... I know! Why don't I give him Guimel's hair style!" Dalet paused a moment to picture this, then started to thrash like never before. The slayers laughed and released him. Dalet stomped over to his best friend Chesta, who had been sitting on another couch laughing his head off, and flopped down next to him. "Oh,come on Dalet. We wern't really going to cut your hair." Miguel said, seeing how angry he was. Dalet stood up suddenly and slapped him across the face harder then Dilandau ever had. "Woah. Cool off." Chesta said and pulled him back down onto the couch. Miguel had lost his humorus attitude and was now glaring at Dalet, holding his cheek. In an attempt to defuse the glaring contest the two were having, Chesta spoke up. "Has anyone noticed that Damia has been acting weird today?" He asked. "Not really. I havn't even seen her today." Miguel said. "I saw her last night when she was going back to her room. She was acting really.......distracted." Gatti said. "She's acting all dreamy. I bumped into her outside and she WAS acting strange." Chesta said. "Maybe she fell in love or something." Guimel suggested. "We're talking about Damia here, Guimel. She doesn't know what love IS." Viole scoufed. "I guess you're right...."

******Meanwhile******
Damia was about to knock on Dilandau's door, but he opened it before she could. "Hello, my dear." He said, pulling her into his arms and clumsily closing the door. Damia just sighed happily. "I noticed how different you were acting today." He said, sitting them both on the bed. "Was I?" She said, looking up into his red eyes. "I guess I've gone so long on my own, I'v forgotten how to act normal." "You were never normal to begin with." Dilandau teased. Before Damia could complain about this remark, he had pulled her into a kiss. She tried to resist only for a second, but soon relaxed. Still not breaking the kiss, Dilandau layed her on the pillow, and leaned on top of her. "You are acting VERY out of charecter." She said with a giggle. Dilandau thought about that for a moment. "Yes, I am...... I'm going to stop thinking about that before I begin to scare myself." He said, then replaced the thoughtful expression with a sneaky smirk. "What are you up to now?" She asked suspitiously. He suddenly began to tickle her. "Stop!" She said, but was laughing. "Why?" He asked, still tickling her merciliously. "B- because!" She said, laughing and thrashing at the same time. "Because why?" He still didn't stop.

******In The Hall Way******
Chesta was heading to his room when he heared laughter. He followed the sound to his lords room, where the door was cracked open enough to see inside. His contious yelled at him to just walk away. His master would surely kill him if he found him eves-dropping. No, Chesta. His contious warned him. I'm just going to take a peek. He told the voice, and drowned it out. He peeked inside. "Stop, Dilandau!" It was Damia. "Nope." His lord and master replied teasingly. Chesta gasped loudly at what he saw. Damia was laying on Dilandau's bed, with Dilandau laying on top of her and tickling the laughing girl. Unfortunatly for little Chesta, he gasped too loudly. Dilandau snapped his eyes from his lover to the door, that he just realized was partly open. He jumped up and grabed his sword that had been thrown carelessly on the chair. Before Chesta had a chance to move, he had stalked to the door and pulled it open swiftly. Chesta was about to run for his life, but was roughly grabbed by the throat and hauled into the room. The door was slammed and locked after he was pulled in. Before he could come out of his state of shock, he was slammed against the wall and a sword was pressed against his neck. "How dare you!" Dilandau snarled. "How dare you spy on me!" Chesta's eyes, that had just recently been wandering wildly now focused onto the eyes of Dilandau. They wore an expression that sent chills down his body and made his limbs numb. He closed his eyes. His life flashed before his eyes and he was sure that he was about to be slaughtered. "Chesta, look at me." Came the growled order. He immediatly opened his innocent looking blue eyes and looked into the red of his masters. "You never saw this. This never happen. If anyone else finds out about this, I'll kill you without hesitation. Do you understand?" His words were calm, but icy cold. Chesta had no doubt that he would. "Yes, Master Dialandau." He replied, shakily. He was roughly dragged to the door and thrown out of it. This time, Dilandau carefully closed the door and made sure it was locked. Chesta walked to his room quickly and shut the door behind him. He finally leaned against the door frame and let out a deep sigh. He has seen some very weird things in his life as a dragonslayer, but never something like that. He took a deep breath and forced himself to think logically about the situation. He would not tell a soul, like he had promised for he dare not cross his master. Damia and Dilandau. The two people on geia least likely to fall in love, yet they had fallen in love with each other. Then he realized with a slight smile, they were also the two people on geia that deserved it most.
