Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ to a fragrant rose ❯ poetry ( One-Shot )
To a fragrant rose
Away in the meads, a fair maiden lies,
Fragrant roses entwined in her soft golden hair.
The morning sun, taking its leave,
And the north wind blows with a vengeance.
Where art thou leaving?
With sorrow and regret?
What art thou thinking?
Have thy any regrets?
Fair maiden, my love,
Fare thee well, I part thee with sorrow.
For the red rose that embraced the white,
Has given new hope for tomorrow.
Love and hope are connected to a fragrant rose.
Both need tender love, care and affection to grow.
If disregarded or left shamelessly aside,
Nature takes its course, the rose withers or so it goes.
Away in the meads, a fair maiden lies.
Her soul at peace, lips cold, her skin deathly white.
The morning sun has taken its leave,
And the north wind blows with a vengeance.
