From the top to the bottom, bottom to top I stop
50,000 years ago the world was a beautiful place, where nature and beings lived happily. The Four Corners of the planet ruled it, with a powerful grip. Among them were the people of Atlantis, the people of the Pathogensis, the Immortals and JENOVA. Below them were the mortals. People with no powers, wills or gifts, whom worked by day and slept by night.
At the core I'm forgotten, in the middle of my thoughts
The mortals were a simple people. Who choused to leave the more important beings to their own. However, as the mortals grew smarter they became greedier. Destroying forests, over killing and creating machines that the destroyed the air. They turned on the Four Corners, wanting power so they could live like they did. With giant machines and weapons that spilled blood, they attacked.
Taken far from the safety, the pictures there
The memories won't escape me
The Four Corners were overwhelmed, Atlantis collapsed into the sea, Immortals were forced underground, JENOVA was used in genetic testing and the Pathogensis were used as weapons of war. The gods were angry and choosed to do something. To end the world as it stood in it's time of death.
We're stuck in a place so dark you can hardly see
The manner of matter that splits with the words I breathe
The Psis, leader and Priest of the Pathogensis summoned Athiesousem, to Earth. The god, rosed above into the clouds to replenished the planet. Judgement Day..The skies turned to fire, the seas overtook the land, the mortal's blood was spilled across the planet. The god went back to heaven, the Psis and Battery went into a deep sleep within the crusts of the planet. Life on Earth was over. A cold dusty planet lay in its place over the next decade….
And as the rain drips down acidic questions around me
I block out the sight of the powers that be
50,000 years later
And duck away into the darkness, time's up
I'll wind up in a rusted world with eyes shut
So tight that it blurs into the world of pretend,
And the eyes ease open and its dark again
