“Damn, that man has sharp teeth,” Blaze said, looking into the hallway mirror at the mark on her neck. It was slowly fading. An hour earlier it had been much worse.

“I thought you said Boom never marked you where it could be seen, Gran?” Star asked, lifting Blaze's hair to one side to peer better at it.

He doesn't. This isn't Honey's work,” Blaze said with a small smile.

“You mean the Suit marked you like a possessive teenager?” Star said in disbelief.

“Scheisse!” Schuldig said, banging his head into the couch arm. “Now I'm beyond jealous. Can I please, please, please, borrow him for just a little while?”

“Get your own suit,” Blaze laughed.

“Working on it,” Schuldig said, winking at Skye.

“This is entirely too entertaining if not somewhat painful to watch,” Blaze said.

“It's even more painful to feel,” Star said. “You know Sunny may try to kill you later this evening, Schuldig.”

“It's been worth it just to see Brad's face at certain stages of this,” Schu smiled.

“Gotta hand it to you, Sis. You managed to jam both Sunny and Oracle's gifts very nicely,” Star said. “I don't think I could have done any better.”

“I'll take that as a high compliment,” Skye said, curling against Schuldig's side.

“Exactly why are you two doing this to Sunny and Oracle?” was Ghost's question as she looked up from Nagi's computer game.

“Because, Crawford is too stubborn to admit that he'd dearly love to throw Schuldig down somewhere and screw him senseless. Not that it would take much to render him senseless since he pretty much is,” Nagi said, moving one of his chess men to capture Omi's.

“Hey, brat!” Schuldig said indignantly.

Nagi ignored him and went on. “And Skye is just getting a little payback for Sunny playing head games with her.”

Omi shook his head. “You'd think they would have just told each other and gotten on with it by now.”

Nagi shrugged. “Adults make things more complicated than they need to be.”

“That's true. Look at Aya and Yohji.”

Star tilted her head to the side for a moment then took a couple of paces back. “Incoming,” she said at everyone's puzzled look.

Two seconds later a flurry of energy materialized in the room. A man in a black trench coat came into view and immediately hid behind Blaze.

“Tsu! What the hell are you doing?” she asked, trying to dislodge his hands from around her waist.

“Hide me!”

“From what?”

“Hisoka.”

“Why?” Blaze asked, looking suspiciously over her shoulder at him.

“Well, I kind of got us sent to Hokkaido.”

“Are you out of your mind?!”

“I thought they'd leave him alone. You know, since we're married.”

“Obviously NOT!” came Hisoka's voice from behind Star, who stepped out of the way.

“Now, sweetheart, don't do anything you might regret,” Tsu said, holding his hands out in front of him.

“I don't think I'm going to regret it a bit,” Hisoka said, stalking him slowly.

“I really did think they'd gotten over it.”

“You thought wrong. They tried to put make up on me. They tried to put me in a dress with little pink bows on it. The only way I managed to escape was by reminding them what nearly happened last time they tried it. If I manage to catch you in the next five minutes or so I fully intend to be a widow,” he said, green eyes flashing dangerously.

“Eeep!” Tsuzuki took off for the stairs and sprinted up them two at a time then disappeared somewhere in the second floor.

Hisoka glared up the stairs but didn't pursue him. He smiled at Blaze. “Vengeance is best served cold?”

“Usually,” she said. “I'll have to talk to those girls again.”

Hisoka sighed. “Don't worry about it, Mom,” he said, leaning to kiss her on the cheek. “Sorry to interrupt you in the middle of a mission.”

“We aren't really doing much of anything but waiting for data to be brought in.”

“Speaking of data,” Hisoka said. “Wakaba said that she and Terazuma had a kid in custody that you might want to talk to.”

“Oh?”

Hisoka nodded. “She said he was marked,” he said, looking at her meaningfully.

“I'll go talk to Wakaba later.”

Hisoka nodded. Then started up the stairs, smiling slightly.

Blaze crossed the room to Omi and sat down next to him.

“Yes. You do remind me of Hisoka,” she said. Correctly reading the expression on his face and his body language without needing her gifts. “But that isn't why I brought you back.”

“I know that. It's just really strange,” he said.

She stood up and held out her hand. “Come on, bishounen. I think we need to talk.”

He nodded and took her hand.

Yohji groaned and tried to roll over when he heard several doors slam on the upstairs level. He found he couldn't turn over due to the warm body wrapped around him. One long leg was thrown over his hip, effectively pinning the bottom half of him to the bed. While an arm held him across the chest. He frowned slightly. He didn't remember bringing anyone back with him from the club. Goddess had specifically instructed him and Sunny not to since they had a planning meeting that morning. The only person who had been close to him when he had gone to bed was . . .

“Aya?”

“Hmn?” came a sleepy voice from behind him. Warm breath tickled the back of his neck.

That was Aya's voice, he thought. “I thought you were still mad at me about the other night.”

“No,” Aya mumbled. “Sorry. Being stupid.”

Yohji blinked when it registered that Aya was still technically asleep.

“Why are you in bed with me, Aya?” Yohji asked, getting an idea.

“Wanted close to you,” Aya sighed into Yohji's ear and snuggled closer to him.

“Why?”

“The pants.” As if to emphasize this point, Aya's hand slid from where it had been resting across Yohji's chest to his hip. Just above where the lacings were untied.

“Is that all?”

He felt Aya shake his head slightly. “Love you.”

It seemed to Yohji as though his heart stopped beating for a moment then began again so furiously he could feel the pulse in his throat.

“W-why didn't you tell me before?”

“You don't want me. Always chasing women.”

Yohji smiled a little at that. “I've always wanted you. I wouldn't have needed to chase anyone else if I'd had you.”

“You got me.”

“Then we both have what we want,” Yohji said. Now he'd just have to see if Aya's answers held true when he was actually awake.

********************************Author's Notes***************************************

As for Aya answering questions while still asleep, I've actually seen my little brother do this. To this day he still has no clue how I knew he was hood surfing on his friend Chad's car while they were driving down I57.
On a better note: It's almost done! The rough draft is finished, all the research is in, all I have to do is tweak it and it isn't due until December 1st. Word to the wise: Never go for your PHD, kids. Not unless you're extremely masochistic. Which I am not, though I have to wonder after this little episode. Okay, I'm finished rambling now.
