Amnesia

Part 2

Aya, Ken and Youji had arrived at the hospital twenty minutes ago. The lady at the front desk had told them they had to sit in the waiting room until the doctor came out. Youji was getting impatient and he needed a cigarette, Aya was sitting in a chair watching his lover pace back and forth. Finally the doctor came out.

"Are you the guardians of the boy that was brought in earlier?" He asked looking at the clipboard.

"Yes we are. Is he alright?" Ken asked as Aya and Youji came over to them. The doctor shook his head.

"He will live…" The doctor sighed. He didn't know how to say this.

"But?" Aya asked glaring at the doctor.

"I'm afraid that he has amnesia, he doesn't seem to remember much; he barley remembered his name."

"Can we see him?" Ken asked. The doctor nodded.

"Fallow me." He led them down the hall to room number `577' they looked in the window and saw Omi sitting up in bed and looking around nervously. Every time one of the nurses would even come with in a foot of the bed Omi would move back trying to get away from them. Ken and Youji went in while Aya stayed out to talk to the doctor.

"What happened to him?" Aya asked looking at the doctor.

"As far as we can tell, he was drugged and raped. Luckily some one found him before the drug could take full affect on him."

"Why doesn't he remember any thing?"

"It could be because he doesn't want to, or he doesn't want to remember the rape and when he was given the drug he wound up suppressing more then just the rape." Aya nodded and went into the room as well.

Omi was as far back as he could get. Ken and Youji were standing on either side of this bed. Aya stood at the foot of the bed watching him. Omi's eyes darted back and forth form Ken to Aya then Youji and back to Ken again.

"W-w-who ar-are yo-you!" Omi's whole body was shaking. He really didn't remember them.

"Hey it's ok bishounen." Youji said reaching out to pat Omi's head. Omi jumped away from him and screamed. He threw his arms around the nearest person witch happened to be Ken. Ken frowned when he felt Omi shaking so badly.

"Omi, it's alright. No one is going to hurt you." Ken whispered softly running his hand through Omi's hair. Every one looked over to the door when they heard it open, and in came the two ex-Swartz members, Schuldig and Nagi. Aya just glared at them and watched Nagi walk over to where Omi was still clinging to Ken.

"Omi-kun?" Nagi whispered. The blond looked at him and a small smile crossed his lips.

"I-I know y-you…but I-I don't r-r-remember yo-your n-name." Omi slowly let go of Ken as Nagi sat on the bed next to him and pulled him into a hug. Omi started to cry on Nagi's shoulder.

"Why can't I remember?" He asked threw his sobs. The doctor came in and told ever one that they had to leave and that Omi needed to rest. Nagi tried to get off the bed but Omi grabbed his arm and gave him a pleading look.

"P-please, d-don't leave me…" Nagi looked at the doctor who nodded.

"You can stay with him. But the rest of you will have to leave so you don't upset him any more." When they were out of the room Youji talked with the doctor to find out when they could bring Omi home. The doctor said he wanted to keep Omi here until he remembered a bit more. That's when Aya broke in saying that Omi would have a better chance of remembering stuff if he were at home. The doctor couldn't arguer with that and took Aya to sign the papers to get Omi released.

Aya came back five minuets latter. "We can take him home now." He said, and watched a nurse go in to get Omi. Youji took off his coat and draped it over Omi's arms when he came out. Omi hadn't had any cloths on when he was brought in so he had to leave in the hospital gown.

Omi looked around nervously and held onto Nagi's hand. He didn't recognize any one except him and he couldn't understand why.

~*Its because you have amnesia kitten*~ Omi jumped at the voice in his head and looked around wildly to find out where it had come from.

"Its alright. It was just Schu." Nagi reassured him as he nodded toward the Germen. *How can he talk in my mind?* Omi wondered not even thinking that Schuldig could read minds as well.

~*I'm a telepath, that's how.*~ Schuldig smiled as Omi looked up at him.

~*~

When they got back to the flower shop Nagi brought Omi up stairs to get him changed into some more suitable cloths. While the others went into the living room. Ken sighed and sat down on the couch.

"I would like to get my hands on who ever did this to Omi." Ken said clenching his fists. Aya stood behind him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I know Ken, we all want to get the guy who did this. But right now we have to think about Omi." Youji said lighting up another cigarette.

"How are we going to get him to remember us?" Ken asked as he watched Schuldig go into the kitchen to wait for Omi and Nagi to come down. They had gotten used to having Schuldig and Nagi over most of the time. Nagi was here always to visit Omi, and Schuldig was here every weekend so him and Youji could go clubbing together. Omi and Nagi kept saying that one of these days Schuldig and Youji were going to get together. Ken highly doubted that, two of the biggest playboys he had ever met dating?

"I think the question is, do we wont him to remember?" Youji asked. Ken looked up at him in shock.

"What do you mean!? Of cores we wont him to remember!" Ken was trying not to yell.

"Think about it Ken, if he doesn't remember he can have a shot at a normal life." Youji pointed out. "He will never have to worry if every day will be the day that he dies." Aya nodded, he thought it was a good idea. All of them were worried that one of these days Omi was going to be the first to die.

"Youji has a point Ken." Ken's eyes widened and he looked back at his lover.

"You two can't be serous! This is Omi were talking about! How many times has he saved are buts! We can't just do this to him Ran!" Aya winced; he knew Ken was getting mad when he used his real name. Every one stilled called him Aya even after his sister had woken up because that is who they knew him as.

Before any thing else could be said Schuldig came in fallowed by Nagi and a very nervous Omi.

"We'll talk about this latter." Ken said and walked over to Omi. "Hey Omi you hungry?" He asked smiling at him. Omi just looked at him and nodded slightly. He moved closer to Nagi has Ken walked by to go into the kitchen.

*I hate this. Ever thing and ever one is so familiar. But I can't remember. Do I even wont to remember?* Omi thought looking at ever one. Schuldig frowned when he heard Omi's thoughts. He had known Omi was thinking of calling it quits for Weiss so he and Nagi could be together and not worry about their `night jobs'

~*Kitten if you wont to remember I could help you with that.*~ Omi glanced at him.

*how?*

~*I'm a telepath remember? I could show you glimpses of your past, and if you like what you see and wont to remember it all you can do that on your own because I don't wont to hurt you. But if you don't like what you see, I will burry the memory's again for you and just help you remember your friends.*~

Omi thought about this. He looked at ever one again, he wonted to remember them. But something told him just to forget about his past and start over.

*Ok I'll do it.* Omi agreed. *When do we start?*

~*I am already starting. I don't wont to go to fast other wise it will hurt. But remember this will take time*~ Omi nodded. Then he heard Ken call him into the kitchen.

Mr. Matsuya watched the news and smiled when he heard that Omi was found alive. And had amnesia. He turned off the TV and went into the bathroom opening the medicine cabinet and looking at the bottle on the shelf next to the needle.

"Looks like I get to have more fun with my little Omi after all."
