You stand unattractive between all other flowers, feeling unworthy to be in the spotlight.
And still you're shimmering among them, topping all the most beautiful ones.
During the day you bow as the wind runs past.
It's as if though you're willing to be under someone else's control instead of your own.
Your eyes, like the color of the petals, are soft, warm and yet untouched.
Are you still hiding deeper in your shadow or even someone else's shadow?
Darkness is your favorite place.
Darkness is your comfort.
The cold moon is your mother now.
Are you awake?
I tenderly pat the flower and switch off the light.
i know you're sprouting, I know you will sprout out beautifully one day.
It's still not time, isn't it?
I look at the silver moonlight caressing your skin.
You are at peace as you close those beautiful petals.
"Are you done here?" I hear a voice snap me out of my glassy thoughts.
How is it that you can not be cheerful as your fellow-flowers?
Aren't the bees attracted to you?
I glance at you as you stand there with that familiar air of yours.
"Close your eyes" I'm fond of your eyes and hope they might never wither like flowers.
I just want you to close those eyes.
You look taken aback and eye me suspiciously.
I shake my head, waving away my 'order' and walk past you.
Maybe someday you might sprout beautifully just for me. For me alone.
I can feel your eyes burning at my back.
It's better that I'll leave it there, letting you wonder and come out from the shadows.
So how is it that I'm quite fond of you?

The morning light dance playfully around you as I water the soil.
You've opened your bud and let me see the first golden glitters on your petals.
Blossom for me...
I look at you across the shop...
