Chapter 5

Lovers

Yohji stared at him trying to figure out what he meant by that last statement. "Uhm, would you care to run that by me again?" he asked thinking he had to have misheard.

Enzeru smiled and fluttered his wings again, this time more forcefully against the seat. "I have wings. We could fly." He said simply.

"Wings?" Yohji gasped in surprise. Fast as a wink a length of wire was stretched between his right wrist and his left hand. He sat back against the car door putting as much maneuvering room between himself and the other man as he could. "Now, let me get this straight. You have wings? You didn't by any chance try to make a little extra money
a few months back testing experimental drugs, did you?"

Enzeru looked at him, puzzled, then shook his head. "No, I have always had wings, even before I became mortal." He reached forward and traced a finger along the wire, looking to the drop of blood it brought to his finger. He put the finger in his mouth and sucked on
it as he watched Yohji curiously.

Slowly Yohji released the wire in his hand and listened to the whirring sound as it rewound into his watch. He knew he might be making a mistake but his instinct said that there was no danger and his instincts had been what kept him alive when others around him had died. Then a part of what the other man had said struck him.

"Before you became mortal?"

Enzeru nodded, still sucking on his finger. He released the finger slowly, with a smack of his lips.

"As I said, once we know each other better, if you still want to know, then I will tell you. I will tell you this, I am not human and never have been. You are not so sure about this, are you?" He leaned forward, stopping within a breath of Yohji's lips and placed a hand
on the mans chest. "I wont hurt you, unless you ask me to."

"Well lets just say, I've never enjoyed a night with someone with real wings before. And I must admit you are certainly much better looking than the last non-humans I encountered. And more verbal. So can you actually carry my weight and yours?" Yohji asked with a small smile trying not to let his nervousness get the better of him. He'd seen enough evil to know that the man in front of him wasn't so he was willing to go on a little faith.

Enzeru smiled and licked Yohji's lips. "Thank you. And hai, I could carry this car without much problems; it would just be awkward to carry it. So, would you like to fly with me? And don't be so nervous, I am not evil, just misunderstood by my 'boss'." He said. He inched his body closer to the beautiful blonde, eyes roaming over the strong
features of his face.

The tender caress of the warm tongue on his lips and the warmth of the dark eyed man's body revived Yohji's flagging libido and he reached up to cup a hand around the back of the silver head pulling it closer. His lips moved slowly over the mouth beneath his. Then he pulled back and chuckled slightly. "Just keep in mind if you try to drop me your coming down with me." Fast as lightening a single loop of wire wrapped around the steering wheel loosely and with a tiny shift of Yohji's wrist tightened down. "Sorry, too many years of self-preservation," he mumbled realizing how much like a threat that had
sounded.

Enzeru smiled and only pulled the man closer. Yohji had an air of mystery and strength about him that intrigued the fallen angel. Yohji was dangerous when he wanted to be, and Enzeru found that arousing. All the other lovers he had, had been in awe of him and the things he could do, but he for once was the one intrigued. He took Yohji's lips in a deep kiss, running his hands under the t-shirt once again to feel the smooth flesh. Quickly, he pulled away and got out of the cramped space of the roadster, then leaned down with one hand on the car door. Smiling playfully, he said, "Coming?"

Yohji whimpered as the warm body pulled away from him. Snatching his coat he climbed quickly out of the car, stopping long enough to put it on. He hated leaving it here, but he wanted this night even more, especially now. Walking around to step onto the side in front of the shorter man he rested his hands on his shoulders. "So how do we do
this?" he asked moving even closer until their bodies touched from shoulder to hip.

Enzeru turned his black eyes upward to look at Yohji's own green ones. He smiled and took a step back, shrugging his shoulders slightly, his trench coat falling off them softly. He took it off and handed it to Yohji. He smiled at him and began to unbutton his black silk shirt. His wings fluttered behind him in anticipation of being released to stretch. A few black feathers fell to the sidewalk. He slowly finished unbuttoning his shirt and slipped it off his shoulders, spreading his wings behind him with a sigh of relief as
the shirt fell to the ground.

"Damn," Yohji muttered softly his free hand lifting slightly wanting to touch, but hesitant all of a sudden afraid he might damage the feathers. "I guess I was trying to think maybe you were kidding, even though I knew you weren't." He leaned down quickly to pick up the shirt off the ground while he pulled himself back together. Adding it to the coat over his arm he looked into the dark eyes only inches below him and smiled. "Like I said, the most beautiful non-human I've run into so far. Let's get out of here."

Enzeru smiled at Yohji's words. He held his arms out for the man and wrapped them tightly around him when he stepped forward. With a thrust of his wings, they were in the air. He smiled widely, loving the feeling of flight. He looked down to Yohji, wondering what he thought of it and if he had ever flown in such a manner before.

"Where do you live? But more importantly, are you enjoying yourself?" He asked the man curiously.

Yohji shivered and only a bit of it was due to the coldness of the air. There was an exhilarating thrill of fear. The kind you feel on a roller coaster or the shiver that went down his spine just before the members of Weiss stepped into battle. It was little disconcerting dangling as he was but he felt perfectly safe in the strong arms. He
looked up into the dark eyes, his own shining with excitement. "This is amazing!" he called over the rush of the wind and the air whistling around them. Then he pointed with his free arm off to the left. "About three miles that way, we're looking for the Kitten In
The House flower shop. My apartment is there." He wrapped his arm around the silver haired man's waist and pulled in as tight as he could to the bare chest

Enzeru grinned and nodded, turning towards the indicated roof. He set them down gently on the sidewalk out side the shop and looked up into Yohji's eyes. He didn't want to release him yet, he was happy to just hold onto him for a while. His groin twinged as Yohji's hand brushed his wing and he closed his eyes, sighing and leaning forward, took
the other mans lips in a searing kiss.

Yohji opened his mouth, allowing the other man's tongue inside. He couldn't seem to get enough of those warm moist lips. Without breaking the kiss he began to walk backwards drawing the winged man with him along a route he could walk blindfolded. He just hoped that they didn't run into Omi or Ken. He tugged him into the alley and stopped, leaning against the wall trying to catch his breath, as they finally broke apart. "It's this way," he murmured breathlessly and led him along the narrow drive that ran beside the shop and around the back to the stairs.

Enzeru pouted as Yohji pulled away, and allowed himself to be led down the alley. He watched the lean muscled form move beneath his clothing and felt a shiver run up his spine at the thought of the beautiful man naked. He grinned at Yohji and stopped as they came to a door.

"Do you have housemates? Will they mind me being here? Considering your reaction to my wings, I don't want to be any trouble, though I will have you, whether here or inside..."

Yohji dug his keys out of his pocket never letting go of the other man's hand. He'd never felt this intense or eager with someone he'd just met. Maybe it was from the loneliness he felt without Aya, or the exhilaration of the flying, but he didn't think it was either. There
was just something about Enzeru that filled him with excitement and anticipation and he didn't want to lose that feeling.

"Not exactly, Omi has the apartment next door and Ken is up stairs. Aya... he doesn't live here anymore," he answered pushing open the door to his studio apartment.

Enzeru smiled and looked around as he followed Yohji into the apartment. He stretched his wings a little and turned to the taller man. He set his hands on his chest and pushed him against the door. He took his lips in a heated kiss, pressing their bodies together as
his wings stretched out behind him.
