Chapter 21

The Bodies' Betrayal

He tried to tell himself that it wasn't fear that made him press back against the wall. He had faced other things just as deadly, just terrifying in their own rights. But he knew he'd never come up against anything as powerful as the angels in front of him and that no matter how much he tried to fool himself he was no match for them.

He felt the blood drain from his face as he watched his lover who had been so gentle, change before his eyes into something that looked like an angel but acted more like a rabid animal. As his lover held the other angel's arm to his mouth, ripping at the skin, sucking at the released blood savagely. His wings began to thrash and jerk, and even pressed back against the wall Yohji was being buffeted by them. And this was not the gentle strokes that had stimulated his skin making him shiver with pleasure. This was painful and stinging. Slowly the blonde inched down the length of the tub until he could step out and put it between he and the two angels. He slid down the wall until he was kneeling in the corner and simply watched the horror play out.

The ache in Enzeru's jaw began to subside as his teeth shrank back to their normal size. His breathing was heavy and for a moment he was confused as to what had just happened. He licked his lips and blinked in surprise. He brought his fingers to his lips to wipe the fading light off them and stared at it in disgust. The last thing he remembered clearly was Gabriel gripped his hair and set the tip of his sword against his own wrist.

He growled in anger at Gabriel. "How dare you make me do that…you knew!" He spat at the white tenshi and turned as his stomach suddenly lurched. He quickly crawled on his knees to the tub and scrubbed the blood from his mouth and chin, running the tap to scrub furiously at his tongue. He felt like a fool! He stiffened as he felt Gabriel lean over his back and whisper in his ear.

"You loved it. You fed from me like when you were tenshi and not some quivering mess of feeling. It was beautiful." He licked Enzeru's ear and looked at Yohji. "See what you have done to your lover? He is frightened of you now, come home to me, to Zennou, tenshi."

Yohji wrapped his arms tighter around himself as his lover's angry voice filled the small room. The words barely penetrated his numbed mind. His lover was angry that the other angel had tempted… no forced his blood on him in his starved state. And that the other angel had known exactly how he would act. Was this what his lover became every time he fed? And could he lose control like this over other things? What if he approached Omi again and the younger Weiss member refused, would this animal side come out to sate that hunger as well?

He watched numbly as the dark angel crawled on his hands and knees to the tub. His lover scrubbed at his face removing the blackish substance. He even scrubbed his tongue trying to remove the last of the other angel's blood from him. Yohji could see the horror in his lovers face which might have even matched his own. He didn't know what to do, his mind, body and heart each screamed at him with fear, need and…

Yohji felt the silent tears slip as he realized some how he'd fallen in love, but could risk his friends for this? Could he deal with what he'd just seen and how soon would it happen again? He looked up and met the anguished eyes of his lover as the white angel leaned over him silently speaking.

Enzeru scowled as Gabriel continued to lick at his ear. He tried to turn away, but a hand was placed firmly on his chin, making him look at Yohji. Gabriel ground his hips against Enzeru's ass, reaching down to grip his wakening erection.

"You are so weak, Enzu. See how your body responds to any touch? You would mate with a beast if you didn't have your little toy there." His hands moved up Enzeru's stomach to pinch his nipples. Enzeru groaned as his body jerked in response. The hand began to stroke in light circles down his body, rounding the curve of his hips until Gabriel's fingers were pressing at his entrance. "Is this what you like? Is this how he takes you?" He thrust his fingers into the tight entrance, wriggling his fingertips inside as Enzeru cried out in pleasure and squeezed his eyes closed.

Gabriel bit angrily at his neck. His hand moved to Enzeru's cock and began to tug and pull at it. "Open your eyes! Watch your mates reaction as I fuck you!" Enzeru's eyes widened and he began to struggle, even as his hips thrust into the hands.

"No! I will not let the earth be plagued with your presence! You know what the consequences will be if you do, you will be Exiled, just as I am! I am mortal!" Enzeru ground out through clenched teeth.

"Wrong, tenshi. Your body is mortal, but your spirit is still tenshi! I will not be exiled," He chuckled against his neck. "So long as you have wings, Enzeru, you are still one of us."

"Then I will tear them out! Ahhhh!" He cried out in pleasure as he came in Gabriel's hand. He squeezed his eyes closed. He didn't want to see Yohji's face; it hurt to see the fear in those beautiful jade depths, the fear of him. And now this!

Yohji bit his lip to keep from screaming in rage and pain as he watched the white angel begin to fondle his lover. Rage that he was touching him so intimately, pain that there was nothing he could do to stop it. That had been perfectly obvious with what he'd seen only moments before. Shame and guilt ate at him as he could only watch. He clung to the one word that kept the whole thing from totally destroying him.

'No'. His lover had growled it forcefully, angrily. No matter how the body betrayed him, he hadn't consented. And Yohji could see the desperate fear in the eyes just before they closed to shut everything out. He wanted to go to his dark angel, but as long as the other was there he knew that he couldn't. He would only be putting them both at risk. But perhaps his lover could come to him the other might not challenge that. He could only try.

Yohji stretched out one arm extending his hand towards his lover. "Enzeru?"
