Beginnings
-----------------------------------
"Look Sei-san! Dancing lights in the sky!" a young angel exclaimed dragging an older angel to a balcony. "Beautiful" the blue eyed creature said never taking away his eyes from the sky.
"They're called Fireworks, Mamo-kun." The angel with grayish white hair scooped him up to have a closer look.
"Fireworks" the child repeated her words.
Just then a running brunette angel came towards them crying.
"Sei-san! Sei-san! He_hit_me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the young angel wailed.
Another young angel came, now a blond one.
"I didn't meant it Sei-san. Its because he said that I'm going away two months from now because you don't like me here." The blond angel cried . Seeing all this, the blue-eyed angel cried as well.
"You're noisy. It's no wonder Sei-san wants to send you away." A redhead angel appeared beside them.
"Eh-" Sei doesn't know what to do. Three young angels are crying in her lap while a certain redhaead just made it worst.
"Ok. If all of you stop crying, Sei-san won't send anyone of you away." she stated.
As if by magic <or fear> all of them stopped crying.
"That's better." Sei then led them on a nearby bench.
"So Sei-san, is it really true? Is he really going away?" the blue eyed one points at the blond who in turn starts to cry again. Sei gave him the look that made him to held back a sob.
"Yes, he is." Sei closed her eyes and waited for the blond to cry but no sound came.
She then took the blond's little hand as she looks at the other three. "But that doesn't mean I like him to go away. It's just because its his time to be born. Born to the human world." she then turned to the blond. "I like you. All of you. But there's always a time where each of us must part and be given a new beginning. To start all over."
"But Sei-san, Mamo-kun doesn't want to leave Sei-san." the blond hugged her waist. She just smiled at the youngest of all of them. "He'll be the last one to leave. But he'll be the one that'll suffer most in that world.." she thought while thinking the path these four would lead when they're born.
"I'm sorry but you must leave too sooner or later." she patted his head. The brunette tried getting her attention by pulling one of her sleeves.
"What's down there, Sei-san? Is it pretty? Can I play there?"
She menatally laughed. This brunette is definitely the most active on them. "Yes. There are big green fields where you can play as long as you want." The brunette beamed a smile.
"What about him, will he go too?" the blond pointed at the redhead.
Sei nodded while smiling. He would be the most blessed yet the most suffered next to the blue-eyed one. "Yes, he'll belong to a loving family. And guess what, he'll have a sister who'll love him forever."
The redhead eyed him with curiosity but catches himself and turn to hide his blush.
"Na, Sei-san. Why do we have to start again? Why must we born in that world?" the blond asked ponting the world below them.
Just then, another round of fireworks lighted the sky.
"Do you see those lights?" she points at them. They all nodded. They're now all sitting side by side in the bench <even the redhead> while the blue-eyed is sitting on Sei's lap.
"They're called fireworks." The blue eyed beam a know-it-all air.
"Yes. And do you know what they symbolizes?" The four shook their heads. She then continued.
"They symbolizes the celebration of New Year. It's the time where everyone starts all over again. The welcome the year with happiness where everyone hopes for a better chance on the future. That's the time where everyone is given a chance to change bad old ways. Correcting the mistakes they've done. It's like being born again. Starting a new life. Creating your new destiny." Sei explained.
The four looked at with expectations. "Each of you will be given that chance. To have a new life. Create your path. You'll live a life where you'll feel love, pain, anger, sadness, happiness. Also, you'll experience New Year in your life where, you'll be given a chance to change."
As the last of the fireworks lighted, Sei decided it's time for the young angels to sleep.
As she tucked them all to bed, the redhead pulled her sleeves.
"Sei-san, when we're born, will each of us will see each other again? Will we see *you* again"
Sei bit her lips, are she suppose to say? Deciding it wouldn't do any harm, she smiled while nodding. "Yes, ran-kun. You'll find each other along the way. As for seeing me again, who knows, it might be on a New years eve. Now go to sleep." she tucked him in as he kissed his forehead.
"Oyasumi."
"Oyasumi, Sei-san."
-----------------------------------------
"Ken-kun! Aya-kun! Yohji-kun! Will you hurry up?! The show will start on about ten minutes!" Omi practically hopped on every step.
"Hey genki! Will you slow down, we could still see it here." Yohji stopping for a smoke.
"Mou, yohji-kun! But it's not the same. Besides, I know a spot where it'll be the perfect view on tonights fireworks display." Omi while dragging Yohji as well as Ken and Aya.
"So where are you taking us?" Ken asked.
"Up there!" Omi points at the highest skycraper in Tokyo while beaming a smile. He then dragged Aya who glared daggers at him and at the rest of them.
Ken and Yohji shrugged as they followed. They know that glare. "If I'll be there, you two must also be there. Or *else*."
-------------------------------------------
"Wow!" the blue-eyed boy said in awe. The four of them are now in the rooftop. It's a good thing they've thought about taking a coat. It's freezing up there.
"Do you know the meaning of those fireworks?" A voice from behind startled the four of them. There stood an aged old lady but one could see the wisdom in her eyes. She have this grayinsh whit hair and a very warm smile that somehow seemed familiar to the four of them.
"They mean new beginnings." Aya answered not knowing where that come from.
"Yes. and all of us now here are given a chance on that." The old woman looked up with tears in her eyes. She knows long before they're born their destiny.
