Weiss Kreuz Fan Fiction ❯ Insanity Darkness ❯ Chapter 14
Chapter 14
"What are you doing?"
Omi jumped up, and spun to look into Nagi's worried eyes. "Oh." He turned back around, and stuffed more of Michiel's clothing into the duffle bag. "Michiel asked that I get her clothing and the plane ticket." His hands stilled as he felt Nagi touch his shoulder.
The Schwarz member gently placed a kiss behind Omi's ear. "You don't need to go so quickly," he breathed. "Stay a bit. I want to play with the kitten..."
Omi felt his lips turn in a smile at the phrase. "You can still play with him after I go," he said innocently. "I won't be taking him with me."
Nagi wrapped his hands around the older boy's waist, and growled, "That's not the kitten I'm talking about." One hand fell down a bit and started playing with the waistband of Omi's pants. "So, stay, kitten?"
"Nagi, we talked about this," Omi said breathlessly, his body reacting to Nagi's presence. "I won't until we understand what's going on." His head went back as the telekinetic used his ability to brush up his leg, a soft groan escaping his lips.
"Well, then, let's work on understanding this, then we can work on the love bit," Nagi suggested, slipping his hand into Omi's pants. "Alright, kitten?"
His pants were getting rather tight... "After I go to the hospital," Omi managed to get out. "And that's only maybe."
Nagi nibbled on the Weiss member's neck. "You're no fun..."

"Are you sure you should do this?"
Michiel ignored the question, and pulled on her pants, then let her shirt drape over her. "My coat?" she asked.
Omi handed it over, his face worried. "You're still hurt, Michiel. Maybe you should wait until later... you know, after you heal."
She shot him a nasty look as she pulled on the trench coat. "I want out tonight. The way clear?"
The boy sighed, and stuck his head outside the door. "All clear," he announced, looking back at her. "Michiel..."
"Omi, don't worry about it," she whispered. "I'll be..." The world went on a ride for a few seconds, then righted itself. "Fine. Promise."
He looked back outside the door. *Michiel,* Omi said telepathically, *be careful, alright?*
The girl smiled sadly. "You too. Nagi's a great boy, Omi. Don't be afraid to get a little physical with him." She chuckled at his surprised look. "You need to work on speaking mentally with someone without dropping your cloak," she informed him as she moved past him, slinging the bag over her shoulder.
The elevator was much farther away than she realized. Michiel placed a hand on the wall, tried to right herself, then looked back up. The damned elevator wasn't much closer. She pushed off the wall, and kept walking.
"You shouldn't be up."
"You touch me," she growled behind her at the German tinged voice, "and I will rip anything off that isn't a vital part of your torso."
*Touchy, touchy,* Schuldig's mental voice slipped into her head. *Michi, this wasn't suppose to happen. We didn't know they had your death firmly in mind.*
"Pretty to think so," she snarled. "Why don't you go take care of your lover? Or have you moved on to Aya now?"
*I haven't, and you have no right to ask me that,* Schuldig told her angrily.
Michiel turned around slowly, trying to keep her balance. "You had no right to sell me out to SZ," she informed him coolly. "So I guess we're equal, huh?" She turned back around, then stopped. "Oh, and Schuldig? Don't call me Michi."
He watched her walk up to the elevator, and sighed. *I'm sorry, Michiel.*
"And I don't give a shit," she told him bluntly.

"Hey, are you alright?"
'Just my luck,' Michiel thought, leaning ungracefully against the elevator wall. 'I would be stuck with a ditz.' She took a few deep breaths, and answered, "Yeah. Just a little dizzy."
The girl looked at her disbelievingly. "Here, I'll help!" she chirped, reaching out. Her fingers closed on Michiel's bare wrists just as the woman tried to weakly pull away.
"That's alright," she muttered. "Just... whoa." Michiel looked up at the blue-green haired girl, her strength returning slowly. "Who are you?"
She smiled brilliantly. "I'm a healer, obviously!" she said. "Neu was right, you did need some help, Michiel. My name's Tot. I'll help you to the airport."
The blonde blinked at Tot. "Healer..." She started laughing weakly. "And Neu is obviously a pre-cog..." She started to cough.
"That won't do," Tot said, her childish voice serious. "You may not work for SZ any longer, but that doesn't mean we can't help you. Schreint will be your helpers until you get on the plane."
Michiel looked over at the girl. "Isn't there an assassin group here that doesn't have a German group name?"
"Not that I know!"
'This,' Michiel reflected as she looked at the beaming Schreint girl, 'is going to be hell.'
