Weiss Kreuz Fan Fiction ❯ Play With Me? ❯ Being A Teenage Boy ( Chapter 9 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
The next morning saw even more pronounced changes among the "boys". Brad now looked around
seventeen and had gained much of the height he would have in adulthood. The other three seemed to
all be in their early teens. At that point Omi and Nagi at least wondered if it would take the whole week
for their teammates to go back to their old selves. There was also the curious thought as to whether or
not they would be capable of going back to the people they knew. Both thought they saw changes in the
transformed adults.
That thought lasted until Brad demanded to be taken to the mall. He had backed up the demand by
wrestling the keys to the Maybach away from Ken. Everyone in the room had shrugged, figuring he
could at least reach the pedals so there really wasn't any point in denying him.
They managed to shove everyone into the car. It was a little more difficult since the boys were bigger
than they were when the adventure first started. Brad drove and Nagi at least was happy they were
wedged so tightly in the vehicle. They moved less when Brad took the mountain road curves at 90 mph .
Farf was in the front seat, enjoying the ride as they went flying around hairpin turns.
"I think I like you better this way, Oracle," Farf said, hanging on to the outer edge of the door as they slid
around another corner. " t least your driving is more interesting."
Brad smiled evilly and whipped the car back over to the correct side of the road. He slowed down
somewhat as the drove into town. But everyone in the back seat was nearly thrown into the front seat
when the vehicle stopped abruptly. Brad was out of the car almost before they came to a full stop.
"Farf, find me an TM. Now!" he said over his shoulder, heading for the vintage GTO sitting on the used
car lot. "Hello, beautiful," he breathed, running one hand along the front quarter panel of the car.
"What idiot traded you away?"
In less than a minute Brad had the owner of the lot outside and was under the hood of the car, digging
around inside. He was smiling and fiddling with various components.
"What are you doing?" Schuldig asked, coming over to stand next to him, staring blankly at the car.
"Checking to see if the parts are original or after market," Brad said, as though the statement explained
everything.
After much haggling and negotiation simply due to how old Brad looked and some question as to
whether or not he could come up with the money, he had the car title and keys in hand.
Schuldig was in the front seat next to him as they roared off the lot.
"Why is it that YOU can own this car and forbid me to buy the Lamborghini?"
"Because you'll kill yourself if I let you have one and contrary to popular belief, namely yours and
generally mine, I'd like to keep you around."
Schuldig stared at him for a moment before leaning across the seat and brushing a fast kiss across Brad's
cheek.
"Oh my eyes!" Farf laughed from the backseat.
"Whatever," Schu said, rolling his eyes. "Like you haven't seen or done worse."
"True. But it's too much fun to tease you about it just now since you turn as red as your hair," Farf said,
grunting a little as Aya elbowed him in the ribs.
"Shut up!" Schu said, indeed turning roughly the color of his hair.
Everyone was startled into relative silence when they slid sideways into a parking spot at the mall.
Brad was grinning evilly. "Gods damn I love this car."
