Thunder
Part 2 By Yami Kitsune
Ken woke up early the next morning. He walked down stairs and was surprised to see Aya and Youji up. Aya was normally up at this hour but for Youji that was a rare thing indeed. Ken noticed how thick their air was as he walked in, something wasn't right. He looked at Youji and Aya's faces. Neither one were making eye contact with him. And Aya's normally emotionless face looked.sad and angry at the same time. That was never a good combination.
"What's with the long faces?" Ken asked getting his own cup of coffee. He turned back to them. They were still staring at the table.
"Manx is on her way over." Was all Aya said before he got up and left the kitchen. Ken looked confused; they couldn't have another mission this soon.
"Youji? What's going on?" Youji just walked into the living room and motioned for Ken to fallow him. Ken did so still confused. Youji turned on the TV and put on the news, it was about their assassination last night.
"The two Matsuya brother's were assassinated last night. When police arrived on the seen the building had blown up. There are no known survivors. Officials say that they fond another body besides the two Matsuya brothers. It appears to be the body of a teenage boy. The identity of the boy is still unknown."
Youji turned the TV off there and looked at Ken who had gone totally pale. Ken backed up until he felt the couch behind him and fell back onto it still staring at the blank TV screen.
"It.can't be." Ken whispered.
"They said it was a teenage boy Ken, and I don't know about you but, I didn't see any other teenage boys in there besides.besides Omi." Youji said as he sat down next to Ken.
"We should have gone back.we never should have left him there!" Ken said burying his face in his hands. Youji didn't know what to say. Ken had been the one who wanted to go back. They had to practically drag him out of there.

Up stairs Aya was in his room sitting on his bed. 'Its my fault. If I had let Ken go back and get him, none of this would have happened." Aya thought. But even when he was alone he would not let himself cry. Yes Omi had been like a little brother to all of them, but Aya would never be caught crying.
Sighing he stood up and walked over to his dresser. On top of his dresser was a picture of all four of them in the flower shop. No one knew that he had this picture of them, and he wanted to keep it that way. No matter what any one said, he stilled cared about every one on the team. He cursed himself when he felt tears prick the back of his eyes. He closed his eyes tight not allowing them to fall.
There was a knock on his door and he heard Youji form the other side. "Manx is here."
"I'll be right out." Aya said and looked back down at the picture before leaving.

Omi shifted a bit this way then that. He was on a soft bed, but it didn't feel like his. What had happened? The last thing he could remember was being in the warehouse. He stiffened when he heard voices. He was afraid he wouldn't recognize them, but that's what was scaring him now; he did.
"I told you to make sure the building was blown up. I didn't tell you to bring home a new pet Schuldig." Omi heard the voices out side the door. 'I'M WITH SCHWATZ!' Omi thought. Just then the door opened and Schuldig came in smirking.
"Nice to see you awake kitten." He said moving over to the bed. Omi stiffened and tried to move away from him. 'How did I end up with Schwartz?' Omi wondered.
"Simple, I found you in the ware house and brought you home."
"What about Weiss?" Omi asked moving back agents the wall.
"Well, if I know them, and I do. They probably think your dead."
"NANI!?" Omi yelled. Crawford was standing in the door holding a newspaper, and as soon as Omi had said that Crawford tossed him the paper. Omi caught it and looked at the front page. He went pail at what he saw.
"Body of teenage boy found in a exploded warehouse."
Schuldig took the paper from him and through it back at Crawford who caught it before it hit his face.
"The kid doesn't need to see that right now Bradley." Crawford just pushed his glasses up and walked out of the room. Schuldig looked back at Omi who had started shaking again.
"Your staying here for a while. So you might as well get used to it." Schuldig said and stood up going to leave the room. "I'll send Nagi in with some food latter."
"So.I'm a prisoner?" Omi asked looking down at his hands clenched in the bed sheets.
"No, not really. You can leave when you are ready. But there are some things I would like to know first." With that Schuldig left the room closing the door behind him leaving Omi to his own thoughts.

The three boys went down to the mission room where Manx was waiting for them. They all took their seats.
"I take it you all have heard the news?" She asked. They all nodded. "The police still are not sure who the boy is yet. There is a good chance it isn't Omi."
"But how much of a chance is there of it being Omi?" Ken asked not looking up at her.
"All in all its about a 50/50 chance." She said. "But for now, until we know for certain if it is Omi or not you will not be given any missions." No one disagreed with this. They all knew they could not function that well when being faced with the possible death of the youngest member of the team.
"As of right now Weiss is being temporarily disbanded." Manx said before she left. All three of them stayed in the quite of the room for a while. No one knew what to say. Normally when it was quite like this Youji would crack a jock about Omi not having a girlfriend, of if the young teen was on his computer Youji would ask if he was looking at porn.
"I'm going for a walk." Aya said breaking the silence for a moment before he left as well. Ken and Youji fallowed him shortly after.

Omi watched as his door was opened again. This time Nagi came in with a try of food. Omi could hear him grumbling something under his breath about 'not being that stupid Germens slave.' Omi aloud himself a small smile at that. It looks like Nagi didn't like being taken away from his computer either.
"What are you looking at?" Nagi snapped. Omi shook his head.
"Nothing." He said and looked at the tray of food.
"Look, I don't know what Schu has planed for you, but I can tell you now it's nothing bad."
"How do you know?" Omi asked cocking his head to one side slightly.
"Just they way he has been acting ever sense he brought you back last night. He said he saw something in your mind that didn't seem right I guess."
"Something wrong with my mind?" Omi said in wonder. Nagi nodded and went to leave the room. He turned back to Omi before he left.
"Crawford said you didn't have to stay in this room all day. Just make sure you don't go near Farfie." With that Nagi left leaving the door open. Omi moved off the bed and went over closing the door a bit. He felt a little bit safer when the door was closed. He then moved back over to the table where Nagi had left his food. He sat down and started eating.

Schuldig watched as Nagi came out of Omi's room with a small frown on his face. Schuldig had sent him in there so he could be close enough to Omi so Schuldig could show him part of what he had seen the night before.
"Now you see what I'm talking about?" Nagi nodded.
"Do you know what's wrong with him?" Nagi asked sitting down on the couch.
"Not a damn clue. But give me time and I'll have it figured out."
"I'll help any way I can."
"Good. You can help by keeping Weiss off of are trail." Nagi nodded. Even though Weiss hadn't really figured any thing out yet it was only a matter of time.
