Zeva stepped through the door of her comfterbal sized, but currently dark apartment. She leaned against the door in the dark for a few minutes her Calico neko rubbing in-between her legs. Zeva smiled angleing her head down at the Calico as she bent down to scratch the soft spotted fur of the neko behind her small triangular ears. She rose steadily and sighed before moving across her living room to click on a small table lamp and set her keys on her glass coffee table as she sank down to her over sized couch. She had spent most of the morning with Ken, and now she had just gotten home from classes. It was 8:00pm she was tired and her neko had retreated to her lap and insisted to be petted. She gently rubbed the kitten's fur and listend to run it's small little motor with glee until the blinking of her message machine caught her eyes.

"Nani..? A message?" She followed the blinking light across the room to where the machine was and pressed "play".

"Z..Zeva..It's your father..I didn't know if you would be home from law school yet or not...but I wanted to call..and say..i'm sorry, for everything and I wanted to ask you to come over sometime. Not tonight..just..sometime soon, your little sister really misses you and your mother and I do to. I hope everything is going well for you…Ja-Ne…Zeva."

Zeva froze in shock, she never thought her father to call her. He had tried to send her money but after several attempts of Zeva refusing to take the money and sending it back, he finally stopped. Zeva slowly retreated back to her couch and slumped down into the cushy pillows and thought. She thought for an hour about what to do, and if her father really meant what he said on that message. She did miss Nilian, her little sister but she had no desire to see her parents. She finally made her decision, she knew she didn't have to see them tonight but she figured the sooner she took care of this, the better. She would sleep and get on with her life, let alone her thought process. Zeva scooped up her keys against the glass table, grabbed her black leather trench-coat that was hanging on the wall and stepped outside her house, cacthing a whiff of a crisp breeze. She trotted down the stairs of the apartment complex down to her car, started her engine to her Hyundai Elantra and speeded off towards her parent's house that was an hour away.

When she arrived, all the lights to the mansion were on. Which wasn't unusual, everything looked normal for the most part. Zeva twisted the keys in the ignition and killed the engine and flicked off her head lights and walked up the long sidewalk and elegant steps to the door. As she reached for the door knob, she noticed the door was slightly cracked.

"Nani…why is…the door cracked? That's not like father…" She gently nudged the door open, only to have sticky, red liquid coat the edges and bottom of her shoes. Zeva jerked and jumped backwards as she felt the fluid hit her skin. Her once emerald eyes were now sapphire blue in shock.

"What…what is this?!! Father?!!" She flung the door open only to see something that she never expected. Her father hung from the ceiling in the entry way hovering over the door. He stab wounds oozed from his flesh and bullet's infested his body and then strung up to finish off the rest of what was left of his life. "Oh my…" She couldn't finish the sentence..she couldn't even find her voice to scream. The only thing her mind could process was running past her father's mutilated body up the spiral stair case which is where she found her mothers body, face down on the stairs injected with 6 or 7 visible bullet wounds, her blood drapeing over the stairs. She gasped and backed herself against a wall before running up the stairs in a terrified manner. "Oh my gawd…NILIAN!! NILIAN WHERE ARE YOU?! NILIAN PLEASE ANSWER ME!" Zeva ran down the long hall-ways that lead to her sister's room till she finally came to Nilians door, which had been rickashaded with bullet wholes, the once fine, sturdy oak door now stood beaten and splinterd around the narrow hallway. Zeva's instant reaction was to kick it down and in one blow she did. "NILIAN!!" Zeva rushed to Nilian's bed and jerked back the covers of the ten year old's bed, only to reveal that she to and been murdered. Copper wire was tangled around the child's neck and various cuts were left on her body.

"N…Nilian…" Zeva finally broke down...but she didn't want to cry here. She ran out of the house, never looking back. She jumped in her car and got out of there as quickly as possible. "What am I going to do…I shouldn't be driving like this…how could this of happened?!" She had to find somebody, anybody. "Neese!" But Neese is all the way in America..but it was better than nothing..she wasn't sure if she wanted physical contact yet with anyone or not.
