Zeva slipped her disks inside her trench coat with Neese sending out practice jolts that never left the controlled ability of her hands. Aya slid his prized blade inside its sheath and Yohji strapped his dark watch to his wrist, adjusting it properly. With Omi checking his crossbow for proper function and Ken releasing his bugnucks which gleamed off the florescent moonlight. Leaving Kym to examine the deadly edges and tip of her rapier.
"You guys ready..." Zeva tapped on her communicator from her apartment with Neese standing by.
"Hai...we'll meet you there." Aya responded back, eyeing the group of men and the solitary woman that stood behind him.
"Right...over and out." Zeva cut off the signal and turned around to eye Neese, whose eyes glinted the answer Zeva was going to ask and they exited the apartment.

Almost the entire motorcycle trip between Zeva and Neese was silent, except for the occasional voice of Aya from the communicator double checking on Neese's and Zeva's location. But now they all stood on the formillar hill over looking the enemy premises. The wind was bitter and chilled, yet hot and scented blood. Everyone was silent and despite the sin that would be split, the night was blissfully quiet and the sky an array of burning diamonds.
"This is it..." Zeva whispered letting air she didn't realize was holding escape from her chest. They had all seen the building before, and they all despised it, each with a different kind of passion. Zeva slowly turned to face to people behind her and beside her, with Aya giving the direct order. Doing nothing but moving forward, expecting the others to follow. They did as they were expected with Zeva on one side of Aya and Neese on the other.
"Are you ready for this..." Aya spoke shallowly, never looking at the two beside him. Neese let her hands spark, letting jolts snake over the ground to knock out the power to the building.
"More like over prepared." Neese growled, not looking at the red head.
"What was that flash?!" Yohji asked in a loud whisper, Aya answering for either of the girls could his voice monotone.
"The powers been blown." Aya stopped a few feet from the front entrance, raising an eyebrow at Neese.
"Somebody had to do it..." She spoke almost under breath, making sure everyone else couldn't hear. Aya seemed to ignore her, even though she knew he acknowledged her voice.
"Weiss-"
"Yeah we know, move in. Geeze Ab you act like we've never done this before." Yohji moved up beside Aya, and gave him a reassuring glance. Omi prepped his bow and Ken couldn't help gently place his hand on Zeva's shoulder, making her turn around.
"Be careful, ok?" His eyes showed concern and his voice was unsteady as he looked at her. She smiled at him gently, tucking some of her loose strands of braided hair behind her ear.
"I'll be fine...you look out for yourself." She nudged him gently when Aya's voice interrupted their conversation.
"Siberian, you'll be look out with Bombay."
"WHY AM I THE LOOK OUT?!" Ken fumed, he wanted to be in on the action with everyone else. And he didn't want to let Zeva out of her sight. Aya ignored his protest and moved on.
"Balinese, Java, Calico and..."
"It's just Neese..." She spoke for him, folding her arms across her chest.
"And Neese, you'll go in with me."
"Oh yeah sure YOUR girlfriend goes with you!" Ken grumbled, not liking the fact of being ignored. With Aya's orders given, Yohji slapped one arm around Neese's shoulders, smiling proudly.
"And hey, if anything happens to you, don't worry. I'll come and save you! After all, there's nothing like a damsel in distress. Especially one as pretty as you." Yohji winked, a profound smile moving over his lips and Neese just raised an eyebrow at him.
"So that pretty much means I'm screwed either way, right?" She pried his arm off from around her, scooting a few inches away.
"I resent that remark..." Yohji pouted lightly at being rejected again.
"Really? I'd say you resemble it."
"HENCHMEN!" Zeva shouted in a slightly panicked fashion out of no where.
"Hench...what? OW!" Neese got broadsides with a stiff iron poll, knocking her a few feet to the ground. Yohji just smirked down at her, pulling out his wire and wrapping it around his hands.
"IIIIII think she said Henchmen..."
"Yeah ok...I think I've caught on NOW!" She glared as she picked herself up off the ground. "And what happened to you "Protecting me", hu?"
"I thought you said you'd be screwed either way?" Yohji let a wicked and playful gleam flow threw his eyes, glancing at her out of the corner of his eyes.
"Damn irony..." Neese mumbled under her breath.
"WATCH OUT!" Yohji slammed into Neese, knocking her out of the way a bullet and back onto the ground.
"SHIT NEESE! GET YOU HEAD IN THE GAME!" Zeva yelled at her absent-minded sister. There were twenty Hench men in all and a total of nine of them. Zeva had managed to pry the one with the metal pole as his weapon away from him and in process, knock him out cold and use the pole to her own benefit. Meanwhile, Yohji still lay on top of Neese, until she came to her senses and shoved him off.
"GAH! GET OFF OF ME!" He did as commanded with her quickly rising to assist her comrades. "Guns...why is it ALWAYS guns?!" A man rushed at her and she crouched down, grabbed his arm at the exact moment and flipped him, throwing him hard into the ground where he made a nice impression of his body. "That'll teach you to shoot at me..." She sneered, looking down at Yohji who still lay on the ground on his back. "Aren't you going to get up?" She let her hands fall to her hips, raising an eyebrow at him as he smiled bleakly.
"No actually...I'm enjoying the view." Taking not of the proper view of her butt with Neese quickly catching on.
"Geeze! Will you just GET up!" She latched onto his arm that was randomly draped over his stomach, ripping him off the ground only to hear him cry out in pain and hunch over as he stood. "What...? What's-" Neese gaped at the blood running down her comrades side. "Yohji! You're-"
"Yeah...I know...I'm hit." He grimaced and groaned, trying to ignore the pain. Neese now supporting most of his weight, yelling over her shoulder.
"Balinese is hit!" She slowly eased him to the ground, blood oozing vibrantly from the wound. "Zeva! I need you!"
"Little busy sis!!" Zeva spoke while trying to fight off one of the few remaining men of Anthony's posy with the metal pole she had stolen from another. Finally the last man was knocked down and the entire team was able to hurry over to Yohji with Neese fighting back tears she didn't understand.
"Zeva, I need you to extract the bullet." Neese spoke with a strong voice to take away from her tears.
"Right..." Compared to Neese's voice, Zeva's was rather soft. She slowly extended her pale hand over the wound, clipping on to the led inside of his abdomen and watched as it crawled threw his skin to the opening.
"AHHH!!! IT HURTS!" Yohji could feel hot, uncontrolled tears sting his eyes in sheer agony. But Zeva ignored his futile bursts of pain, and quickly ripped the bullet out of his flesh, blood flinging from the wound.
"I think I'm gonna be sick..." Ken held his hand over his mouth at feeling his stomach turn over from the sight of the bullet crawling threw Yohji's skin and then come busting out, shooting blood in different directions. Neese didn't waist anytime; she quickly began to heal the open wound, ceiling it completely until all that was left was the soppy bloodstain. Yohji groaned, slowly sitting up and holding his head, slowly running his fingers threw his long blonde hair.
"We can't waste anymore time here..." Aya spoke from the shadows, moving back to infiltrate the building.
"Ab, wait! I don't think I can go in there and put up a good fight, let Siberian go in my place." He balanced his weight with the help of Neese supporting him, and Aya just stared what appeared to be blankly at the blonde haired assassin, until her turned his head to eye Ken.
"Siberian, come on." Aya turned his eyes the group; with Ken doing a silent "Yes!" as he quickly followed the red head and the rest of the group that now consisted mostly of women. They entered the dark building, silent except for the random shouts echoing threw the building.
"This way..." Zeva whispered, only to have Aya forcefully grab her arm and yank her back.
"No...this way..." Aya was quick to protest against Zeva's judgement and she wondered if it was because she was female and new to the business. "This way will take us strait to Anthony."
"How do you know that?" Zeva shot back against the red head, and she knew this mission MIGHT get ugly between her and Aya. "It's not like you had time to roam around the premises while you were tied up." Aya just shot her an icy glare.
"Everytime he left my cell, he always went to his office. Besides, Nina tipped me off." Aya sounded smug threw his words and Zeva had half the mind the mock him, but she valued her life more than that. They followed Aya, Ken sticking close to Zeva on purpose and as half expected, Aya led them right to Anthony's office. All five of them busted in, their weapons bared only to find it empty Kym the first the relax.
"He's gone..." She whispered, her voice sounding shocked and a little dazed.
"THINK AGAIN!" Everyone quickly turned around just as Anthony fired a shot, impaling Kym right in her thigh, causing her crumple to her knees. Blood splattering over the sleek floor and oozing down her leg.
"KYM!" Aya rushed toward her, cradling her wounded body. He clutched her close and he found her struggling to stand. Failing miserably, she fell back down to the floor quickly Aya clutching her tight in his arms, shaking with rage. "Don't try to stand...you'll just make it worse..." he whispered to her as tenderly as he could through clenched teeth. Almost instinctively, Ken moved in front of Zeva, his bugnucks bared and ready for blood shed as Anthony eyed all of the ones still standing, not counting Aya.
"Now...will you kindly- FUCK!!!!!!" He hissed, his handgun smashing to the ground with a loud clatter, spilling to the floor with his blood. Zeva had moved out from behind Ken, and his sliced Anthony's hand almost in half, not dismembering his hand completely by choice. Instead, she left a cut that scraped even the bone, catching her disk between her fingers as it came spinning back toward her. He slowly lifted his morbid and twisted blue eyes to eye the redhead an insane smile folding over his lips.
"Andonius..." He growled, stepping toward her with her taking a step back. "I might keep you alive you know...if you agree, to be mine...you're pretty and strong...you'd make a good slave. Though I don't know if I could stand looking at you...you resemble your father!" He raised his voice at her and Ken stiffened with the thought of Zeva being brutally taken from him.
"I'll never belong to you." Zeva sneered, prepping her disk in her hand, this time to make the kill.
"TAKATORI!!!!!" Aya's voice came out of no where and before Zeva had time to think she had be forcefully pushed aside by Aya who's blade was bared and more than willing to slice the blonde hair man in half. But he was stopped dead in his tracks, and Zeva wasn't able to regain her balance in time to stop the catastrophe. Aya's eyes were dilated grotesquely and he slowly dropped his head down to eye his bloody chest. Anthony smiled at the oozing wound, still holding the gun in position.
"I'm sorry my pet...but I can't have you running rabid on me, now can I?"
"RAAAAAN!" Kym yelped out as she saw her love fall to one knee, struggling to stand. But she found herself unable to control her emotions, or her power. "You...just made the biggest mistake..." Her eyes began to glow, and Anthony found himself slowly being lifted off the ground only to cry out in agony as his arms began to dismember from the rest of his body. "I'LL MAKE SURE YOU NEVER SHOOT ANYONE AGAIN!!" But she viscously cut off from her act as Neese deliberately knocked her unconscious with a quick jolt to the head.
"Sorry Chica...this is our fight..." She said solemnly before raising her amber eyes to stare at the man who fell in a heap on the ground, spitting up saliva and blood. "Calico!" Neese beckoned to her sister, who nodded coming over to Aya to extract the bullet, with Neese quickly ceiling the wound. Though Aya was healed, it just left Ken, Zeva and Neese. Anthony slowly rose. His blood coating the floor in a slippery mess of gore. Zeva stood by her sister, watching as he began to stand his breathing distorted and heavy. "Give up, Takatori. It's the end of the line for you." He staggered as her stood, hunched over, blood dripped from the end of his blonde strands that hung in his face. Streaking his pale skin with streams red fluid.
"No...it's the end of the line for the Andonius...you just couldn't stay dead...could you?" He tried to aim his gun at her but it was hopeless, his arms were mangled no matter how hard he tried to deny it. "You..." His eyes scanned to Zeva, who stood taught with an emotionless face. "You were my undistinguished underscore...I knew on remaining Andonius was alive...I just didn't know WHO you were, and I knew they would be no match for me, no matter who they were. And I was right..." He took distorted steps toward Zeva and Neese, with Ken busy assisting his wounded and weakened comrades. "Give up, Andonius..." Anthony growled, getting closer to her till he was face it face. Both of them staring eye to eye. "What are you going to do now?" He sneered at her, and watched her eyes flash amber, only to find himself back on the ground with a swelling eye.
"I think I just punched you..." her voice cocky and arrogant. "See...here's your first mistake. You thought there was only ONE remaining Andonius...well here's a quick news brief. There's two." Zeva pointed to her sister who smiled awaringly at the blonde who was busy scraping himself off the floor. "And second of all...you were MY undistinguished underscore...I knew someone killed my family...I just didn't know who. And I knew whoever they were; they'd be no match for my twin or me. And it's Ms. Zeva Andonius." With her words spoken Zeva threw power, latching onto him with her telekinesis from a distance, Neese accompanying her by tossing bolts of electricity. And with Zeva's other hand, she ignited her pyrokenesis and watched his already dead corpse burn until it was nothing but ashes. A sickening smell of burnt flesh and boiling body fluids filling the air in raging stench that almost made everyone throw up.
"You THINK you could have been a little more subtle?" Ken spoke threw his hand that was clamped over his mouth to try and prevent himself from vomiting, his face looking ghostly pale.
"Mission...accomplished..." Zeva whispered staring down at the ashes that had accumulated on the floor.
"Come on! Let's get out of here while we still can!" Neese shouted, moving for the door. Everyone silently agreed, except Zeva who stared at her reflection in the ground. "Zeva! Come on!"
"I've done what I have set out to do...there's nothing left for me..." While she was speaking her words her hand was drifting inside her trench coat, until she pulled out a disk, holding it between her index and middle finger.
"What?! Zeva! Come on!" Neese tried to snap her sister back to the current reality.
"There's no more reason for me to be here..." She held to disk to her throat, her eye bleak and dead. But before she could slice her flesh open, Ken grabbed her hands and batted the disk away, listening to it clank and roll on the floor. Zeva shuddered; blinking her as her eyes came back into focus to stare into his deep brown eyes.
"Zeva! Come on! Get a hold of yourself!" He loosed his grip lightly and smiled gently at her at the sight of brining her back to reality. "A wise...and beautiful woman told me that, committing suicide was one of the most selfish things you could do. And I'm not about to let that woman go against something I know she believes in."
"And besides..." Neese spoke from the doorframe. "You still do have a purpose, what happened to your ideal of becoming an assassin to prevent future occurrences like this?" Neese smiled at her sister, who smiled weakly looking down at the floor for an instant only to look back up at the faces around her.
"You're right...all of you...I'll continue what I started, and keep fighting and do what I know is right."
To Be Continued...
