The fog settled lightly over the damp ground, making the air thick and grey. Poor visibility caused by the weather led the lone man to stand close to the plain headstone he was visiting. A gentle shower began to fall and he didn't seem to notice.

"I guess this was all in the big plan somewhere, huh? You're gone and I'm here." A sour smile formed on the blonde man's face. "Funny isn't it?"

He shifted to look up at the grey sky. Everything he seemed to see today was grey. It was like the color had been sucked out of the world. Hell, he was even dressed in several shades of the damn color. It was just one of those days.

His expression returned to somber as he studied the headstone. "I wanted to say thank you. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably be on a cold slab in some random morgue." Calloused fingers slid through his damp hair.

Green eyes shifted to the flowers he held in one hand. The cattelya lilies were pretty and were his favorite flower. He had no clue why. When he had tried to leave the shop with them earlier, Omi tried to get him to take something different, hydrangea or something. He had told the youth no, that this was what he wanted to take because they were his favorite.

"I promise to take this new chance at starting over to heart now. It would be a waste if I tried to self-destruct again, ne?" The corner of his lips curled into a partial smile. He knelt and placed the flowers down in front of the headstone. His finger tips glided across the engraved letters of the grey stone before he stood. "Thank you for giving me this chance."

The blonde turned away from the grave and carefully weaved his way back through the graveyard. He found the black car that Manx had sent the team and climbed in.

"How was it, Yohji-kun?" the youngest member of Weiss asked in a quiet voice from his position behind the register.

"It was ok." He ruffled the boy's hair and wandered past him to the stairs that led up to the house part of the building.

Omi watched him pass, wondering exactly what ok meant to Yohji. It had its different meanings. He turned back to his work as Ken came out of the back. "Yohji-kun's back." His tone was still quiet. Omi had to respect Yohji for what he did.

Ken nodded and glanced to the stairs before he turned to begin moving some plants about.

Upstairs, Yohji walked into his bedroom and shed his damp duster. His gaze shifted over the room and he sighed. It had to be the weather that was getting to him, he mused as he walked over to turn on his stereo.

A few strains of blues covered the silence of his room as he shifted through his meager collection of cds. Suddenly he jumped as a hand settled on his shoulder. Green eyes darted over his shoulder to see the amused expression of his lover. "Damnit, you are worse than a thief, love."

A mischievous smile curved across exotic features. "Get over here and help me, Yohji." The thin figure walked over to the bed and settled on the edge. An inviting expression was turned to the blonde.

Yohji turned and studied the sight of his lover in nothing but a towel, hair still dripping from his lover's recent shower. "As you wish." He settled onto the bed behind the figure, taking a second towel out of his lover's hands.

"How was he?"

The blonde gave a puzzled look. "Fine, I think. I went to thank him for everything. It did make me feel a little better about settling into this life, just like you said." He moved the towel over his lover's damp hair.

"I told you it would." The figure shifted expressive eyes closed.

Yohji leaned forward and brushed his lips behind his lover's ear. "I guess you're the smart one in this relationship then." He gently nipped the ear. "I love you, you know."

A smirk played across pale features. "I know."

His hands shifted away from the towel that was now draped over somewhat dry hair. They slid down a pale neck, finally curling around his lover's waist. He bowed his head, running his lips over a bare shoulder, pressing gentle kisses to the skin. "You taste so good, how are you feeling?"

The figure turned in the blonde's embrace, moving so that long legs straddled Yohji's thighs. "Better." A pale hand slid slowly from Yohji's neck, over the grey fabric of the man's ribbed t-shirt, and to the top of his cargos. The hand shifted along the waistband before finally ducking under.

"Gods." Green eyes closed for a moment then opened as the hand remained still. He slid his hands over bare skin, nipping at his lover's neck for a moment. "I want you so bad, Aya."

The injury the swordsman had sustained on their last mission had put him in the hospital for a few weeks. Aya had just been released from the hospital but his wound still caused him some discomfort if he strained it. While he was in the hospital, Omi had a discussion with Manx and Birman that allowed Weiss to remain together. They had decided to primarily run the flower shop. Weiss would always be there for them if they needed it.

"Then take me, Yohji..." The red head caught the blonde's lips between his own. It took little coaxing for the blonde to deepen the kiss. The pair tumbled back onto the bed planning on making up for lost time.
