Sometimes I wonder if it was a mistake to turn him.

It's on the nights like tonight that I begin to regret my decision to turn my little plaything into my equal, teaching him everything I know - or pretend to know.

He's still sleeping, exhausted from his earlier hunt and the fact that he fed enough for a week. His red hair is scattered all over the pillows, and I can see the beginning of the four parallell scars on his chest as he shifts restlessly under the sheets.
