The rhythmic caw the played through the halls of Ravens Flat did not soothe any souls.
Comprehending the hunter's past experiences two years ago would ache one's heart. No one
mentioned their names: Amon & Robin. The dynamic duos who fought side by side in the most
corrupted conditions after the factory attacked, was now but ashes in the hearts of Miho, Yurika,
Haruto and Kosaka. Their ex hunter's presence remains in their hearts and only one young hacker
can bring them back . . . with a little research of course. Michael believes that their souls still
walk this earth but they haven't come up for air since the destruction of the Factory. Todous'
discovery for cloning a powerful witch that can both save and kill the human race will always
haunt the witch hunters. Japan's population of witches has grown immensely since the
destruction of the Factory, but man and beast now walk the streets side by side. Japan's streets
are now known for how vile dogs and good pups could walk side by side without picking a fight
and causing trouble. The government has filed a note to every witch's home when their powers
awaken saying that they must report to the STN-J's head quarters for a dose of their new antidote
to help lower the possibilities of spasmodic eruptions of a witch's craft. Now humans don't think
of witches as taboo. Man and beast learned to share interests, share love, share children and share
their homeland. All the witches in Europe that were once captured by Solomon for research on
the witch's gene have escaped to Japan where they can live freely without any interruptions in
their now average lives.
But there is no such thing as a "happily ever after" in every witch's life. One shard of
knowledge on this earth remains and that knowledge can bring the whole witch race to its end.
Only one craft user has the power to stop fait before it unfolds. The future can be altered when
two elements join forces to create a shield to protect every innocent witch's lives. Let the gods of
fire and water collide to form the ultimate paradise for all the witches. The birth of a child will
change the course of time and peace will soon make its way through for every heart in the
making of a new world.

The tapping of keys echoed through the halls. Michael sipped his coffee and Dojima
hummed to the tune of L'arc~Arc~en~Ciel's Ready Steady Go. Michael's headphones blared
with music. Kosaka was in his office going through his files and talking on the phone with the
mayor all at once. There was the sound of glass breaking after a cup broke and pieces of glass
scattered across the floor. Sakaki swore under his breath and lazily hunkered down to pick them
up. Miho sighed behind her desk and shook her head as she went through a file of locations for
police reports of witches who have broken a law, but of course, she found none whatsoever.
Karasuma was glad that this city has done so well as to dramatically change into what looked like
perfection, but there was absolutely nothing to do now that all of the witches have come to their
senses and made a living without taking advantage of their powers to claim wealth or power in
any way.
"Holy Shit!" Michael blurted out when an e-mail opened by itself to show a video
recording of a young lady with honey-gold hair tied with dark-mahogany colored ribbons in a

strange circular loop style with a few strands of her hair framing her perfect flushed face. Her
emerald eyes were lively and oh so real. Michael was about to swoon but pinched himself hard
enough to wink out tears of joy and pain. It's real, he thought, she's alive and she's well. But
where is Amon. As if on cue Amon hovered behind Robin with his hands on her shoulders. He
gave them a squeeze to reassure her that it's safe to speak.
"Hello, Michael, Dojima, Karasuma and Sakaki. It's me, Robin Sena, here to say hi
again. It's been a while since we last saw each other and I really do miss you all. Amon would
like to say his part." The camera was adjusted by petite hands. Then the camera was focused on
the tall man with the chiseled face and shoulder-length raven-black hair. He was clad in a dark
button up shirt and black slacks. His hands were still on Robin's shoulder as he fixed his dark
eyes on the camera. He took in a deep breath and began to speak.
"Like Robin, I have to admit, I have been missing our meetings and just what we shared
together as hunters working side by side." For a moment there, Amon didn't seem to be acting . .
. well, himself. He sounded way too, well, satisfied with his words and some of the fuzziness in
the expression of his words sent a chill down Michael's spine. "There is a surprise coming your
way and lower your expectations," Amon ordered in a more serious tone, which made Michael
notice the fact that he was holding his breath and now he finally let it out. "I can't guarantee that
you'll be finding it soon but we'll see what we can do. But for now you guys should just do your
job." The camera was adjusted again with bigger fingers and stronger hands. Now the camera
was fixed on Robin again. She was cheesing from ear to ear. And there were foot steps moving
away from the room that Robin was in, which meant that Amon has left.
"He's changed," Robin still smiling, whispered. "Amon's just been getting good sleep
and he's doing well for a man who has just awakened. I know what your thinking: `why would he
be happy about that?' Well, he has come to terms with his past and now his scars from his past
are finally healing. But as much as I'd like to continue, I have to go now. Until next time, bye."
Robin waved and blew a kiss. She reached for the camera and there was a click, then the e-mail
file closed. There was a box that popped up and it said that a new file has been deleted. Michael
searched for traces of where the video file came from but found nothing. Typical Amon, leaving
nothing for us to feed on. No, he hasn't changed that drastically.
Michael turned around and his jaw dropped to see that everyone, including the Chief and
Hattori has gathered behind him with their eyes still wide from disbelief. How did they get here
without making the slightest noise, Michael wondered.
"See, I was right, wasn't I?" Michael said in a mocking tone. Everyone shook their heads
in agreement. "Now, how many of you now owe me 1000¥?" Everyone groaned in response.
"Banzai!"
There was a loud slam as the office door swung open to reveal Nagira grinning from ear
to ear. "Guess who owes me some dough?" Everyone besides Michael dropped to their knees and
wept dramatically.

"Do you think their satisfied, Amon?" Curious emerald pools peered up at darker grays.
"I have a feeling that we haven't given them enough to work with." Amon walked behind her and
wrapped his arms around her warmly and Robin sighed. There was silence for a brief moment.
The apartment that they shared in Italy was now on mute. No cars honking, no men arguing about
parking spaces in Italian, no noise at all.

"Isn't this great, how winds can actually bottle away sound waves?" Amon murmured
into Robin's ear. Robin nodded. Amon began to gently stroke Robin's face with his fingers. Such
warmth and emotions were radiating out of Amon. It was beautiful to see him smile. Robin
snuggled into his body, seeking more comfort.
Ever since Nagira gave them the plane tickets and all the money they needed to make a
living and start over, Amon and Robin had enough time to grown closer. When Amon was
struggling with his powers, she was there to help him through. When Robin fell ill from the
poison that was injected into her bloodstream by Zaizen's bullet, Amon was there to use his
newly found craft to force out the poison through her wrist that was raw from a burn caused by
her own craft to drain out the bad blood from the good. A witch's immune system works
differently from a human's because their craft will work on its own to do whatever it can to
remove what is foreign in their system.
Amon began to trail soft kisses down Robin's neck, then he swiftly turned her chair so
that he could firmly place his lips over hers. After a while of decent little pecks Amon opened
Robin's mouth for her so that he could dart his tongue into her mouth and explore in her hot wet
depths. Robin moaned into his mouth and he swallowed her rich taste. Before they knew it,
Amon and Robin were in the queen size bed that they shared, experimenting with some of the
seventeen sex positions. Amon was now on his back while Robin straddled her legs with him in
between them. Robin's honey-gold hair came loose from the ribbons and now those strands of
cloth were on the floor. Amon's hair was tousled and it had that bed head look, which Robin
loved since they first made love which was only a week ago. Robin continued to ride in their fast
rhythm when a surge of heat shot through her and they both felt their orgasms rushing through
their bodies all at once. Robin lazily slid off Amon and softly landed on Amon's side, breathing
hard. Amon was relaxed and he relished the softness of her skin against his. He tucked her under
his arms and brought her closer to him, snuggling and cuddling.
"That was great, Amon." Robin whispered in a low exhausted tone but there were hints of
satisfaction in her words.
"Yeah. I love you, Robin and you know there are no regrets, right?" Amon waited for an
answer.
"No regrets, Amon. Love you too. Oyasumi nasai," Robin drifted off to sleep, leaving
Amon behind to stare up at the vanilla-cream painted ceiling. Amon sat up abruptly after he felt a
presence make its way into their room. There was a shadow of a disfigured creature that
resembled a human yet its body was twisted and the joints were in the wrong order. It was
crawling across the gray walls. Amon could hear crawling and the sounds of flesh breaking. In a
matter of seconds the crawling disfigured figure made its way up Amon and Robin's bed and
Amon saw a rotting Zaizen. Amon could not only see the solid Zaizen, but he could also see
through Zaizen and his rotting brain that turned into a green pulsing muck and his eyes that were
barely in his purple eye sockets that had fungi growing in the corner. Zaizen had no jaw since It
was ripped right off his face but for now Amon could only see the tongue dangling limply on the
head. The tongue turned into this iodine color and so did its teeth and gums. There were traces of
foam on the tongue also. Zaizen's eyes had no pupils but were just a pale white color and nothing
more. There were only a few strands of gray hair left on Zaizen's scalp but clumps of dry blood
clung to them. As for Zaizen's bare naked, rotting body; his left shoulder was too close to his
neck and his right arm came around his neck like a snake but only it had little lumps of broken
bone inside the flesh. Zaizen's ass was in the front and his knees bent backwards. Amon could

smell the rotting flesh and it smelled like rotting meat after you leave it out for about four weeks
in the heat. Amon could taste the bile and puke that threatened to pour through his lips if he
didn't regain his composure.
Amon thought about Robin and how he wanted to protect her form Zaizen on their last
trip to the Factory and now that rage has come bubbling up again. Amon searched under his
pillow and found his .38. Amon checked if the gun was loaded then turned off the safety. He
aimed carefully on Zaizen's head and in the matter of seconds . . .
Amon woke up to feel warm hands brushing against his forehead. Robin was looking
down at him with sleepy eyes. It was just a dream and only a dream. Amon gave Robin a peck on
the nose then lulled her to sleep with soothing words about how their going to visit Harry's next
week. After Amon got Robin to sleep again, Amon checked the room again for any intruders but
found nothing. He drifted off into a dreamless sleep after he cuddled against Robin again.
