I search for you as you search for me
I close my eyes, hoping it is only you that I see
When I will finally wake up, this will be just a dream.

Amon realized that he was once again, the only one left in the café. All through the day, he would watch people coming in and out from the cold weather, which was unusual, since Japan never got this cold. But since losing Robin, everything seemed cold and distant, even before she came. Nothing was meant for living after her departure from this world, he knew she was never coming back. But deep in his thoughts, Amon couldn't help keep a twisted thought that she was still alive, bidding her time.

“Amon…”

The dark ex- hunter looked up and saw that Master Harry was addressing him, the only one who ever bothered talking to him since her death.

“What do you plan on doing with the rest of your life?”

Amon didn't answer, he didn't want to, this was the last thing he needed or wanted.

“You must realize that after the Factory's fall, she could be somewhere after the STN-J came and found her, while you were hiding behind the trees. Little Robin would never let something like that happen to her, she loves you Amon…you above all people should realize that.”

How could he say something like that, doesn't he know Robin is dead? Is age finally getting to him? Or is he just being a stupid asshole?

Amon let those thoughts circle his head, Master Harry was still talking, but Amon paid no attention to his words. Consolation was the last thing he needed. But it was what he wanted ever since he cradled her dead body in his arms. He wanted nothing more than to just see those green orbs again, the he could die in peace.

Music was playing in the background. He never heard music being played in Master Harry's café, but took the time to listen well to the words.

The melancholic melody and lyrics described his life only too well, and once he cleared his mind, Amon realized that the words were not in Japanese, but in German. He cherished the inhumane melody all the same.

The violins and cellos playing so blissfully in harmony and coordination that Amon felt tears swell behind his eyes, his grip tightened on the glass he was holding. He wondered for a brief moment where he would be able to find a mirror, maybe if he looked hard enough he would see that his depression was commonly known to the fact that he had just lost someone he loved dearly. But what did mirrors make of good companions? They only reflected what was shown in front of them, and nothing could be breached beyond the human anatomy, or the appearance. But as he still climbed his sorrowful ladder of melancholy, someone came and sat down next to him.

Amon opened his eyes and saw Took sitting by him, taking off her jacket and ordering a drink. His grip tightened yet even more so as Took didn't take another seat, away from him.

Setting his glass down, a wave of memories came rushing to him; he closed his eyes and delved into his personal ocean.

“Took, what are you doing here? Where is your father?”

“He's not here Amon, but it's funny, I was going to ask you the same question, only that you were faster in asking me so.”

“And what do you want with me?

“In fact, instead of asking why you are here above all place I could find you, I want to know where Robin is?

“Why…”

“My Father isn't too happy with you Amon, but I can make it better, if you just tell me where Robin is, you won't have to go through this…”

“Go through what, exactly?”

“Do you miss me?”

“Wh-what? what do you mean do I miss you?”

“Well since we haven't seen each other, I was getting the impression that you were beginning to miss me.that's all.”

“What do you want with Robin?”

“Why should you know, if my father needs her than why should you question his authority?”

“Why are you so interested all of a sudden?”

“Amon, answer me this, why are you always around Robin, why do you always follow her. Wherever she goes, you have to go with her. Why do you follow her?”

“That is none of your business.”

Do you love her, amon?”

“What?”

“I said, do you lover her”

“…”

“Well…?”

“…y-yes”

“How dare you…after all that I've done, after all that I've given, you treat me like second rate…”

“I never loved you Took, you should've known that.”

“WHAT!!!?”
“I never loved you…”

“You are going to regret those words that you just said to me.”

Took reached in her jacket and pulled out a standard gun, but Amon glimpsed a hint of a glowing green substance.

“My father told me what you were, but I believed in second chances…until now!”

A gunshot was fired and the bullet sped right a Amon's chest. He would've been relieved that the Orbo had actually killed him, but something happened that interfered with his freedom. A ring of fire that rose up to several feet surrounded Amon, the Orbo was useless against the flames. The fire was dying down after several minutes, Took standing there, she was too shocked to do anything, but she later regained her composture in a matter of seconds.

“Robin won't always be there to protect you, and neither shall you…”

Regaining consciousness, Amon stared down at his empty glass. Touko was still beside him, and he wanted more than anything to shoot the guts out of her.

“I will…I will.”
