Chapter 4

***Two months later***

"Finally we're here." Hige said taking in the smells of the city. Not really much has happened since the last two months Kiba's dreams seem to have gotten worse but they happen less frequently now and he is able to sleep peacefully on some nights. "I still can't believe we actually made it here in two months." Toboe said. "I told you we can make it here in two months if we ran all that way." Kiba said looking around the city. "What are you looking for now?" Tsume asked. "Nothing I'm trying re-remember where everything in this place is." Kiba said lying. His real intentions were to find that lab that he had seen in his dreams the girl had been in one of those machines surrounded by wires and was submerged in green-blue liquid. He had finally learned her name and he hoped that she had learned his as well. "Hiroseki are you really in that place in my dreams?" Kiba asked himself. "You say something Kiba?" Hige asked. "No nothing." Kiba said.

***Some kind of lab***

"Give it up Cher she's not going to tell us anything." Hubb said looking at the girl who was floating in one of the labs machines. "Oh she'll talk we just need to push her a little more. Hiroseki I really don't want to hurt you your such a young child, so tell us where those two wolves are." Cher said. Two months earlier Cher and Hubb had gotten word from the black dogs owner that he had been injured by a wolf, and not to long after the two had been over to Hiroseki's house asking her to come with them to answer some questions. But instead of taking her to a police station Cher got curious about the fact that Hiroseki was able to call her wolves by her mind instead of verbally calling them.

So all that leads up to where Hiroseki and the other two are now. "Uh no I won't tell you anything." Hiroseki said forcefully she barely had the energy to speak let alone give out such information about her two wolves that had protected her. "Perhaps a little shock will make you talk." Cher said pushing a button sending a shock through Hiroseki's body making scream out in pain.

***City Street***

"Huh?" Kiba asked turning around to find only his pack mates behind him. "Kiba what's up?" Tsume asked. "Please someone help me! It hurts please help." A voice called out. "Ok now that's creepy." Hige said. "Hiroseki, come on let's go." Kiba said running towards the voice that had called out to him. "I just hope we're not to late." Kiba thought as he and the others ran towards the lab to find Hiroseki." Once they had gotten to the lab they were met by many guards whom they took down quite easily and managed to get inside the lab. "Uh, that smell." Kiba said stopping at a part of the lab that lead two ways. "Which way?" Hige asked. "The smell of rain will lead you to me." Hiroseki had said in his dream. "Follow the scent of the rain and you will find me." Kiba said sniffing the air. "Come on this way." Kiba said taking the left path. "How do you know it's this way?" Tsume asked. "Trust me I know." Kiba said as they ran into an army of robots.

***Lab room***

"Cher look at this its those boys from before." Hubb said looking at one of the monitors. "Why are they here?" Cher asked. "The Hell if I know." Hubb said. "Uh, you called them here didn't you!?" Cher asked looking back at Hiroseki who only remained quiet. "Dammit." Cher said hitting her hand on the counter.

*** Another Part Of the Lab***

"There's to many of them, we can't get through." Hige said destroying another robot. "Kiba we'll clear a path for you, you go find out where that voice came from." Tsume said. "What about you guys?" Kiba asked. Out of all of them Kiba seemed to be the one with the most wounds but wanting to find out more about Hiroseki only made him want to fight harder. "Don't worry about us, we'll be here when you get back." Hige said knocking down another robot. "Okay go." Tsume yelled and Kiba ran through the path that was made for him. "Good luck guys." Kiba thought as he followed the rain scent to a closed metal door with some rusted hinges. "This'll be real easy." Kiba said kicking the door down and walking into the lab room. "Uh, you." Hiroseki said.

***Hiroseki's POV***

"Uh you." I said looking at the boy (well not really a boy but not a man either) that had knocked down the door. He's quite handsome long brown hair piercing blue hair and fair skin just like the person in my dreams, wait a minute he is the one in my dreams. "Kiba help!" I yell. "Hiroseki!" he calls back and attacks Cher and the other guy.

***Kiba's POV***

"Hiroseki!" I yell and attack the two people that stand in my way of getting Hiroseki out of this place. Once I'm done with them I walk over to Hiroseki well more or less limp and I touch the glass she is floating in. Various burn marks cover her body not to mention she's not wearing anything but she doesn't seem to care much about that little how do you humans say detail. Her voice is weak and I can barely make out what she says. "So how do I get you out of this?" I ask referring to the machine she was in. "Push that big white one." she said weakly and I ran over to the keyboard and pushed the white button and watched as the blue-green liquid started flowing out of the tank and the glass part slide down. Once the glass had gone down I ran over to Hiroseki and caught her in my arms before she fell to the ground. "Are you the wolf I saw in my dreams to?" she asked bringing a hand up to my cheek.

***Hiroseki's POV***

"Are you the white wolf I saw in my dreams to?" I asked as I brought my hand up to Kiba's cheek. "Yes." he says simply. "Good." I say and fall unconscious in his arms.

***Normal POV***

"Hey wake up." Kiba said noticing Hiroseki had blacked out. "I don't have anything to cover you with other than my jacket, oh well it'll do." Kiba said taking off his jacket and putting it around Hiroseki's upper part of her body. "Now let's get out of here." Kiba said picking Hiroseki up and running out of the lab room.

"Hey Kiba's back." Toboe said spotting Kiba running towards them with Hiroseki in his arms. "Hey who's the girl?" Hige asked. Kiba rolls his eyes in annoyance, "Come on let's go." Kiba said as he and the rest of his pack ran out of the lab and into the city. "Come on this way." Toboe said running to an abandoned house.

"Here." Toboe said opening the door and walking in as the others followed behind him. "Uh, mmm." Hiroseki said. "Easy now." Kiba said walking over to a couch and setting her on it. "Huh, where am I?" Hiroseki asked. "Some abandoned house." Tsume said. "Kiba who are they?" Hiroseki asked pointing to Tsume and the others.

"They're my pack, The one with the collar is Hige, the one with the bracelet is Toboe and that's Tsume over by the corner." Kiba said. "I don't like Tsume to much he's rude." Hiroseki said. "You'll get used to him come on let's see if we can't do something with your wounds." Kiba said picking Hiroseki up and carrying her upstairs and into a bathroom. Setting Hiroseki down by the bathtub he turned on the hot water then the cold water and let the bathtub fill with water. While Kiba was watching the tub fill Hiroseki began to softly sing a song that her mother had taught her before she died.

"Mama." Hiroseki said quietly and let a lone tear slide down her cheek. "Do you miss your family, cause if you do I can take you back to your home once your well again." Kiba said turning off the water. "My mother is dead only sissy Aniou-mama, and White Fang-papa are home to take care of me, well sissy is gone at the time so I only have Aniou-mama and White Fang-papa." Hiroseki said as Kiba picked her up and gently set her in the water. "Water's not to hot is it?" Kiba asked.

"No the water's fine. Thank you for saving me Kiba." Hiroseki said laying back in the tub as Kiba began washing her wounds. "What's your current family like?" Kiba asked cleaning a deep gash on Hiroseki's arm. "Sister and is kind and gentle like the sea. Aniou-mama is wise and caring like the moon in the sky, and White Fang-papa acts like the protective father." Hiroseki said. "I see. This Aniou and White Fang you speak of are they wolves by any chance?" Kiba asked lifting Hiroseki out of the tub and wrapping a towel around her. "I'm sure they must miss you." Kiba said shifting Hiroseki in his arms and carrying her out of the bathroom and back downstairs where the others were sleeping in certain places. "Here you can have the couch." Kiba said walking over to the couch and laying Hiroseki on it. "But what about you, surely your not thinking about sleeping on the floor." Hiroseki said. Kiba looked at Hiroseki with his blue eyes and shrugged his shoulders. "I've slept on the ground before, don't worry about me." Kiba said laying next to the couch and closing his eyes. Hiroseki looked down at Kiba and smiled before turning on her back and closing her eyes knowing that she would no longer be plagued by her dreams, and that she had found the one person in her dreams.
