Wolf's Rain Fan Fiction ❯ Lost ❯ Chapter One - In Which Tsume Blushes and Toboe Gets a Snack ( Chapter 1 )
Disclaimer: Nothing, nothing, nothing.
Guess what? It's midnight and I'm writing fanfictions! Well, you just can't help it sometimes.
My first Wolf's Rain fic! ^_^ Be happy. I adore that show. Tsume and Darcia have to be the best characters. They are awesome! And you'll be glad to know, this isn't a songfic! Yeah! Though I was thinking about a WR songfic, I decided now was not the time. It might start a riot because you've read too many. And, I've gone back to my shone-ai-eness.
Lol, so read and review!
Let's see, I suppose the setting takes place sometime after they separate from Cheza the first time, but before they get to Jaguara's Keep. I'll make up some place. Okay......a forest! On a mountain! Yay.
Chapter One - In Which Tsume Blushes and Toboe Gets a Snack
Toboe trudged along behind the others wearily, staring at the back of Tsume's head. They had been wandering through this forest forever, and he was starting to get bored and tired. Hige was doing what he normally did. Complained.
"Damn, guys, I'm so hungry," he whined, rubbing his stomach. "You'd think that in a forest, there'd be something to eat."
"Would you shut up?" Tsume growled. "We heard you the first twelve times."
Hige grunted.
Toboe's stomach growled noisily and he blushed as everyone turned to look at him. "Well, I am sorta hungry too," he grinned.
"We ought to stop for food then," Kiba announced, coming to a halt. Toboe shook his head angrily.
"No, ,we don't have to stop just because of me!" he said. "Let's keep going. Besides, Hige said there's nothing around."
"Doesn't matter. We need rest," Kiba stated calmly, sitting down under a large pine tree. "Hi-"
"I'll look for food," Tsume muttered quickly, interrupting Kiba. Without waiting for an answer, he sped out of sight.
"What's up with him?" Hige asked. "He never voluntarily goes to look for food."
Kiba shrugged. Toboe yawned and plopped down on a pile of dead leaves. "Man, am I tired," he mumbled, lying back. Kiba and Hige exchanged looks. "What?" Toboe asked, noticing.
"It's nothing, Runt," Hige answered with a wave of his hand.
"Come on guys," Toboe whined. "You never tell me anything. You've been acting weird lately, too."
"What do you mean, acting weird?" Kiba raised an eyebrow.
"Well, you seem to stare off into space more than usual. And Tsume mutters way more than usual too when he speaks. Come to think of it, I've never really heard him mumbled before. And," Toboe continued, "Hige moans in his sleep."
Kiba turned to Hige, who was now blushing scarlet. Should they tell this pup that it was time for their season? No, he's still too young. "It's just been an awkward time," Kiba replied, almost laughing at Hige's ruby colored face. No doubt he'd been dreaming about Blue again. Kiba sighed. He'd been too long without a mate. If Hige could get one, then why couldn't he? `Well for starters, you have an all male pack.......'
Toboe grumbled silently. Of course they wouldn't tell him anything. Every time it was the same answer, `You're too young.' But he already knew what a season was, maybe might already have his. He wasn't sure, but he did feel off sometimes.
"Where's Tsume?" complained Hige. "I'm still hungry."
"Well, if this forest's really as big as we think, and there's no food around, then it'll probably take him more than a couple of minutes," Kiba told him, rolling his eyes. Hige frowned and sat down between some tree roots, where he stared at a knothole unblinkingly.
"Nothing to do now but to wait then," Hige grumbled, leaning against the tree and closing his eyes. Toboe agreed numbly and settled back in his bed of leaves, deciding to take a nap and hoping Tsume would come back soon.
Toboe woke to the light of the morning. He sat up and blinked a few times, trying to clear his vision. A short few feet away, Hige was still lying asleep. But Kiba was nowhere is sight.
"Kiba?" Toboe called. "Tsume?" Neither wolf was anywhere near. The auburn colored wolf started pacing the small clearing. Ten minutes later, Kiba came jumping back into the clearing.
"Have you seen Tsume?" they asked simultaneously. Toboe looked shocked.
"You mean he hasn't been back?" he asked Kiba. Kiba shook his head.
"No. Tsume's scent is very faint all around here."
"Do you think something happened?!"
"At the least. Why would he just leave without telling anyone?"
Toboe digested this news painfully. Tsume was missing? He couldn't be. Tsume was one of the strongest wolves Toboe'd ever met, there was no way he could have gotten hurt. But still.......... "I'm gonna go look for him!" Toboe exclaimed. Kiba looked like he was going to protest, but decided to keep quiet.
"Okay. I'll wake up Hige to help, though I doubt he'll like it very much," Kiba replied, nodding. Toboe didn't wait to hear how Hige reacted to being woken up so early, he was gone within seconds.
Running through the thick underbrush, Toboe thought about Tsume, and why he felt so weird. Why was he so worried about Tsume? True, he did look up to him and considered himself his friend, but that didn't explain the piercing ache he felt in his chest when he out Tsume was missing. Could it be that Tsume........
No, Toboe shook his head. Even if he told Tsume about these feelings, he'd dismiss them and laugh. Come to think of it, Toboe didn't quite understanding these feelings either. Maybe he really was in season. He'd have to ask one of the others when he got back.
By then, Toboe had gotten so far out that he couldn't smell Hige or Kiba anymore. The air was filled with the scent of damp earth and grass, combined with the metallic smell of rust and rocks. Toboe sniffed around again, and this time picked up something else mixed in. The sweet scent of blood. Tsume's blood.
Ear's and eyes alert, Toboe raced through the trees, dodging fallen logs and rocks, until the sight of something unbelievable made him stop dead in his tracks.
Almost as far as he could see, a huge canyon seemed to stretch across the mountain. The forest just ended and the desert just started. It was enormous, he doubted whether even Kiba or Tsume could jump across it. Toboe looked around, trying to pick up Tsume's scent again. He found it, faint but still there, and followed the smell to where the ravine just simply seemed to drop away. Tsume was nowhere near, so Toboe figured he had to be down at the bottom.
Gingerly, Toboe made his way down the large crevice, only slipping once or twice. The smell of Tsume's blood got stronger as he went down, he had to be close now. At the bottom, Toboe paused once more and sniffed. Tsume was somewhere around here, he had to be.............................
--------------------------------
Groaning, Tsume tried to lift his head, but failed miserably. He couldn't remember a thing, except........ No, wait, he did remember something. He had gone out to search for food, and the ground collapsed on him. So, where was he now? Head hurting horribly, Tsume rolled over, and smacked into something warm and fluffy.
"Tsume!" Toboe sat up so fast that Tsume could feel the breeze. "Are you okay?!!?"
Tsume managed to keep both eyes open. "Toboe?" he grunted. "What happened? Where are we?"
"You never came back yesterday, so I came looking for you!" Toboe answered. "You were covered in these giant rocks, and you looked really bad! You've been knocked out for nearly a day."
"A day? What about Kiba, and - wait, did you say I was covered with rocks? Did you dig me out or something?"
Toboe blushed. "Um, yeah. What's wrong with that?"
Tsume let out a laugh. "Nothing, kid. It's just, funny." He was laughing so hard now that he grimaced. "Ow," he muttered, clutching his side.
"Tsume, what's wrong?!" Toboe looked really worried.
"Nothing," Tsume grunted for the second time, lying back onto the rocky ground and closed his eyes, breathing deeply. He'd just laughed harder than he had in, well, forever.
Toboe watched the gray colored wolf lie there, lost in thought. `He has such a nice body.....' Toboe blushed and scolded himself for thinking like that. Even if he did like Tsume, it would be no use. He didn't even know if Tsume liked males. Toboe looked up as Tsume grunted again, wincing as pain ran through the deep gash on his side. `Poor Tsume.......'
Before he knew what he was doing, Toboe leaned forward and started licking the wound on Tsume's side flank. Tsume gasped, looking straight at Toboe, and did something he had never once thought about doing. He blushed.
"K-kid," Tsume sputtered, propping himself up on his elbows. "You don't have to-"
But Tsume never finished that sentence, because Toboe's hands moved from the ground to Tsume's thighs, and his mouth to Tsume's mouth. For that next instant, Tsume felt as if he were on fire; any place his body made contact with Toboe's was like an inferno. Toboe, sensing that Tsume wasn't trying to resist him yet, deepened the kiss and moved so that he was sitting in Tsume's lap, straddling him with his legs and arms wrapped around the teen. Tsume gave another sharp intake of breath as he felt Toboe's groin rub against his own, and moaned. Oh gods, he hadn't felt like this in so long..................
Tsume couldn't resist such a tempting situation. He pushed Toboe down so he was lying on his back on the ravine floor. Kissing Toboe's neck with amazing gusto, Tsume started to unzip Toboe's shirt, feeling the soft skin underneath. He could hear Toboe's moans along with his own murmurs of pleasure ringing in his ears. It was so, intoxicating. Biting the skin on the young wolf's neck so hard he knew it was probably going to leave a mark, Tsume started trailing kisses down Toboe's chest. Toboe groaned and bucked his hips up against Tsume's, causing Tsume to bite a little harder than intended. The pup had an erection.
Before Toboe knew what had happened, Tsume was off him in a second. He sat as far away from the cub as possible, breathing heavily. He'd almost gone all the way with the kid. He'd actually wanted to. The way Toboe made him feel, it was unbelievable.
Toboe was equally shocked by the way he felt. True, the sudden stop was surprising, but those few minutes had to have been the best of his life. There was no doubting it now, he was in season.

How's chapter one? Horrible, right? If you've noticed, I've started delving into lime/lemon territory. Oh, woe is me. Lol. I think that is the first time in my life I have ever used the word woe before. Haha.
Well, next chapter should be up when I write it. Then type it. Then upload it. It's a long and complicated process. So REVIEW!!!!!!
.................What color would Hige be considered? I know Kiba's a white wolf, Tsume's sorta grayish, Toboe auburn, but what about Hige? Yellow-brown? Is that even a color?
