The pack looked around.
Toboe gulped so loud he's fellow pack members looked at him kind of funny. He looked forward again.
In front of him were walls that towered over him like the pack was nothing more then four little ants. The gray old walls were separating them and the city. It was the city where the scent of Tsume was coming from.
The line they were in moved forward.
Toboe felt something cold touch his hand. He looked down and was a bit startled when he found a wolf pup starred back at him.
The pup was small, probably a runt like Toboe. Her body was covered in a soft gray fur. Her amber eyes seemed to look into his very soul.
You're like me.
Blue saw the pup and elbowed Hige and Kiba in the ribs. She kneeled down and got to the pup's level.
“Yes, we are. Who are you?”
The pup smiled.
I'm me.
Hige, Blue, and Toboe smiled. Kiba was the only one who didn't.
“Who are you?”
The pup sort of pouted. She obviously had decided who was going to be her least favorite.
I'm LuLu, but most of my friends call me Gray Pup.
Blue took control of the conversation, “LuLu, I'm called Blue.”
Just like your hair.
“Yes, just like my hair. Now, LuLu, I have a very important question to ask you. Okay?” The pup nodded her head repeatedly. “How can we get inside the city?”
By going through the gate silly.
Again Blue smiled. “Without going through the gates.”
Oooooohhhhh. I could show how to get in without the big scary men looking through everything and asking for papers.
Toboe got down. “Please tell us, Gray Pup.”
Gray Pup smiled. That's the magic word. Follow me. She started to turn around and stopped. Oh and you need to look like wolves. And could you, she pointed to Blue, walk next to me so it doesn't look like I'm the one leading. HE might be watching.
