Thankfully before Arielle could ask anymore questions, Eternity exits from the bathroom.
Chris sighs in relief and waves his new wife over toward him. Eternity narrows her eyes as she comes close to find Chris on her cell phone.

“Um, Chris, who is that?” questions the young tanned woman.

At the sound of her question, Chris instantly gave her the phone and whispers, “Your sister…”

Eternity’s eyes slightly expand before taking the phone from Chris. She wasn’t expecting Arielle to call her. She excuses herself and walks into the kitchen to take the call.

“Hi Arielle.”

“Eternity, who was that man?” Arielle didn’t hesitate to ask.

The woman glanced back where Chris was getting dressed. She lowers her voice, “A guy I met at the club…”

“What was he doing answering your cell?”

“I was in the bathroom taking a shower,” Eternity answers.

“Oh… and you just let any strange man answer your cell, stay in your motel room…”

“Arielle! Could you please not lecture me… I’m a grown woman and I can do whatever the hell I want,” exclaims Eternity as she paces the kitchen floor. Eternity could hear her sister gasp on the other end at the tone of her voice.

“Since you’ve hooked up with that Monique Truman. You’ve really changed, Eternity. Not only have you grown a real attitude problem, but you’ve become a town slut…”

Eternity’s eyes begin to build with tears at her sister’s words. “If it wasn’t for mom and dad kicking me out of the house than I wouldn’t had turn to Monique. I wouldn’t have been
in that fucking strip club! You think that I like it there…”

“Yes I do… as long as you are getting paid…”

“I have to do something to survive… okay. I have no education. So it’s the only job I can get.”

“Well, nobody told you drop out of school. That was a choice all on your own.”

The young 23 year old lifted a hand to brush away droplets that rest on her cheek as fresh ones tumbled down. She didn’t get a chance to endorse herself as Arielle hangs up afterwards. Eternity closes her cell and tosses it onto the table in front of her before covering her face with her hands. Silently, the woman breaks down.

Chris gradually strolls over from the bedroom. Gently he pulled Eternity into his arms and speaks softly, “You okay?”

Eternity shakes her head before resting against Chris’ chest. She whispers, “My sister can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. She doesn’t understand.”

Confusion filled Chris’ eyes and he tugs away from Eternity to look at her. He timidly asked, “Um… why did you tell your sister that I was just a guy you met at the club?”

Eternity’s face expression changed and she felt very horrible for doing that, but she couldn’t bear to tell Arielle that she was married to a Caucasian man. Not yet anyways. She sighs, “I’m really sorry for doing that. I didn’t want to, Chris, please believe me. I couldn’t risk Arielle being the first to tell my parents about us. I want to do that myself.”

Chris smiles, “Oh… so when do we get to meet mom and dad?”

“Soon. I promise.” said Eternity as she wrapped her arms around Chris’ waist. She pecked his lips before adding, “As a matter of fact, my parents live in Florida. I’m not originally from Los Angeles neither.”

“Well at least we have one thing in common,” Chris chuckles.

--------------------

Eternity moans softly as she wrapped her arms around Chris to return his kisses. Great. Here they were standing in public, in the middle of the airport, waiting for their flight and her husband decides to make out with her. She pulls back slightly with a giggle when Chris grabbed at her ass.

She comically whispers, “Don’t grab that… there’s people around.”

Chris laughs, “Nobody’s watching.”

The woman looks behind her to find teenagers pointing and snickering at them. Gradually her cheeks turn bright red and she buries her head in Chris’ chest. She speaks, “You were saying…”

“Who cares, Eternity. I don’t because I want to show the world that we’re made for each other.”

Eternity lifts her head to smile at Chris. She wrapped her arms around Chris’ neck loosely to stare into his beautiful eyes. Unexpectedly she murmurs softly, “I love you, Chris. I know that those are strong words and we just met last night, but I truly believe that you’re the one for me. I don’t know what it is… it’s like whenever I’m around you… I feel like I’m walking on air.”

Chris lifts a delicate hand to rest on the woman’s cheek as he gawked into her chocolate eyes. He melodiously speaks, “I know that everyone is going to think we’re crazy for getting married so soon, but I’m not bothered. I know deep down that we did the right thing. I love you too, Eternity and I’m proud to have you as my wife.”

After the ricochet of those words, the russet woman leans up to place another kiss on the blond man’s lips than pulling back in time to hear their flight number being announced on the loud speaker above.

--------------------

In the distance, a familiar red-haired woman with shades on watched from the corner of her evil green eye as the couple and their bags were checked for illegal objects by airport security. She allows them to get a head start before moving herself and getting in line. While “The Black Stallion” was in the care of her trusty guards, she was going to Florida after Eternity. Nobody betrays Monique Truman and gets away with it. Nobody.
