X-Men Fan Fiction ❯ Father's Love ❯ Chapter 1

X23 walked quickly through the woods trying to lose the man that had
been following her for the past hour or so. A low growl would escape
her mouth every once and a while when she would turn and see that he
was still behind her.

Logan's wound was slowly healing and he was near normal now, but
even his wound would not allow his speed to decrease, in following
the girl.

X23 jumped up onto a fallen tree log, bent, turned and looked at
him, "Why are you still following me?!" she demanded with anger in
her eyes. "I have told you a thousand times, I don't need your help
and more importantly I don't want it!" she sneered "Go Away!!" and
she turned and jumped back to the ground and started walking faster
than what she was.

Logan sneered and preceded after her walking faster himself, The
girl was tricky much like himself when he was young, and she might
try and pull something as in sneaking off so Logan made sure to keep
her scent in his nose.

He jumped over the tall log masterly and landed on his feet, and
watched as her form went around another tree. He quickly went after
her.

"Kid, when are ya gonna tell me what goin on here?" he said as he
caught up to her.

X23 rolled her eyes and sighed, "See your just a bother, I already
saved your ass once, don't think I'm gonna do it again." she said.

"Watch the mouth kid" Logan said smartly. "I aint wanna those pee'
ons over at Hydra" he said angrily as he pushed past her and walked
ahead. They were surrounded by nothing but trees.

"Who are you to tell ME to watch my mouth?!" she demanded. "Yer not
my father, yer no one!!!" she said. she walked over to him and got
in his face.
"This is all your fault, you're the one slowing me down, bringin
your Cronies here." she said walking over to a fallen tree trunk and
sitting down.

"You listen up kid and listen good, Omega though I don't know who
the hell he is, obviously isn't someone you should be messin with,
hell he knocked the shit out uh me." he said glaring at her.

"Geeze, you make it sound as though its difficult." she said rolling
her eyes.

Logan walked over to her and forcefully took her shoulders and
yanked her up. For a split second she was frightened her eye grew
wide and she grabbed onto Logan's fore arms, to try and stop him
from hurting her.

"Yer pushin it kid" he said as he bent to get in her face. her eyes
returned to their angry glare and she pouted full force. Logan
released her and said, " Now lets continue," he said walking ahead
of her.

She watched him go and all the while she cursed him in her head and
thought about mutilating him. Logan caught her scent and it was
getting spicy signaling the girl was getting angry and Logan knew
that if she were like him in any way that she was getting ready to
attack.

"Aint a smart idea kid." he said slightly turning his head

She gritted her teeth and started walking.

They had been walking for about thirty minutes when Logan
said, "Stop.... do ya hear that?" X23 looked at him as though he
were crazy and then stopped, a chopper??? She looked up and saw a
chopper coming down over the trees, and then there were gunshots
that shot down around her and Logan.

"GET DOWN!!" Logan said jumping at her just in time, he grabbed her
head and threw himself in front of her chest so that know shot would
be fatal, his weight knocked them to the ground and he rolled her
out of fire shot. Then they both jumped to their feet and took off
running trying to stay under the cover of the trees.

They got far enough to where they could stop and take a breather,
Logan sniffed the air and realized that they had lost him a while
back, his scent was no where close.

"You ok kid?" he asked.

X23 getting frustrated turned on him, " STOP CALLING ME A KID,
UHH!!" she kicked a tree trunk as hard as she could. "Oww" she said
turning to sit on it.

Logan only looked at her with disappointment. "Yeah, yer all grown
up." he said cleverly.

Her face snapped up and she was blinded with anger at the way he
mocked her and that cocky smile of his made it just enough to push
her over the edge.

Her pretty face wrinkled as she jumped at him, "Yaaah" she screamed
as her nails popped out and she went for Logan's face. "I hate you
you ass hole. I hate you!!!" she said as she tried to cut him
anywhere and everywhere. Logan did some remarkable moves to avoid
her blows, but hadn't enough time to miss her leg bamming him in his
crotch.

"I hate you, I...Hate...You!!" she said as she tried to jab at him
with every word she spoke.

Logan caught her fists and pushed her back, he took a step back and
put his foot on a trunk of a tree, Logan then yanked the struggling
child over his thigh and held her down.

"Here are the facts, one, you ARE a kid. Two, you do need me no
matter what you wanna think, and three I aint lettin ya go on alone,
got it?" he asked looking down at her.

X23 was struggling as best she could, considering her feet couldn't
touch the ground. "Yer a damn bastard, and as soon as I get up I'm
gonna kick yer ass." she said struggling harder.

"Alright then I move to plan B, parent mode." Logan growled.

Logan held her waist tight and raised his right hand high, then he
brought it slamming down on the girls leather covered bottom. "Ahh-
ow" she screeched, and then began to furiously kick her legs in
hopes of hitting Logan.

Logan started pummeling the girl's bottom with fast hard smacks.

"Oww, let me go!! Ouch, stop it..you ..Ahh-hah" her voice began to
break.

-SMACK-SMACK-SMACK- Logan landed three hard smacks at the under
curve of her bottom, X23 let out a long wail as the pain settled in
on her butt.

Logan's face was determined as he WAS going to teach the girl that
she would not always be in charge Especially now.

The smacks were echoing in the forest. But that had no effect on
Logan, though it did make the punishment sound worse than what it
was.
X23's cries became pitiful, even to Logan's ears. Her struggling had
stopped a while back but Logan had kept up with the smacking.

Finally her cries and whimpers got to him, he let go of her waist
and reached both hands under her arms and he pulled her to her feet.
Her long hair hung down and clung to her face where the tears had
fallen. She wiped at her face harshly and frowned as she tried to
control her sobs.

Logan grabbed her and pulled her up against his chest to hug her.
She resisted only for a minute and then just relaxed in his arms.
"You keep sayin that I aint yer dad, Well kid you know as good as I
that I am the closest thing you got to one, and I'll tell you
somthin I'm gonna be here for ya whether you want it or not." he
said hugging her tighter.

He felt her head nod and he smirked to himself. She stepped back and
looked at him, she wiped at her eyes and then said, "Don't think this
changes anything, and cause it doesn't." she said before slowly
turning and walking.

"Sorry kid, but this changes everything." he said following after
her with a smile on his face.
