Summary: Harry has discovered the `Power the Dark Lord knows not' and it lies in a Merge/Fusion with a certain Shikigami.

 

Prologue

 

 

The raw magical backlash woke every student and Professor in Hogwarts Castle; and many saw the column of dark-colored light that rose to the sky from the Forbidden Forest. A column of light, a deep true blood red in color, with black streaks rose into the sky, with violet lightning flickering around an inside of it.

 

 

Harry Potter was missing. All students were accounted for and present in the Great Hall save the boy-who-lived. This was a source of worry for his friends and Professors, to the point where a search party was being planned, until the boy in question staggered dazedly into the Hall.

 

“It's gone.” He murmured. “It was so beautiful, and now it's gone.”

 

“May I inquire as to what you're talking about Harry?” Dumbledore asked with the typical twinkle in his eyes.

 

Harry simply stared vacantly towards the Forest for a moment, before turning emerald eyes to the Headmaster. “The wyvern. He's gone. He was so wonderful, even in Death.” The green eyes flashed to slit-pupiled gold for a split instant as the students were dismissed, but no one noticed except for a certain blonde Slytherin.

 

Something had happened in the Forest. Potter knew what it was, and was clearly lying about it. And Draco was determined to find some answers.
