Well, it is good to be back! Once again, I would like to thank all of those that reviewed my story, thus far, and I'm glad for all of the positive support that this story has gotten thus far. And yet again, I would to say I'm sorry for the minor typo with the chapter number. I'll be making sure to be more careful for now on. And from the reviews about this chapter, there are plenty of Yu-Yu-Hakusho fans that really love to see those two rotten teachers, Iwamoto and Akashi, bashed very hard. Not to say that I'm not one of them . . . *heh* *heh* . . . (clearing throat) . . . Anyway, don't worry about Molly and Bastion . . . they won't be in the SOL for too long. And for Bastion-fans, I will try to keep the Bastion-bashing down to a minimum. Well, coming up, we are going to see that Serena isn't the only one that's going to have emotional issues when our favorite Slifer Red is forced to reveal a past that he kept buried inside. Oh, I should give you one warning: There might be plenty to a lot OOC in this chapter! That's to let you know. Now, it's time to duel!

Chapter 15: Burden of Heroes

 

(Rejoining our heroes and heroines; in the late afternoon hours on Academy Island)

 

Sometime after Chazz defeated his brother Slade Princeton for the second time and took him out of the GX tournament, we find our heroes and heroines reassembled in front of the Slifer Red dorms where Jaden, Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Jasmine, Mindy, Atticus, and Chazz tell what happened between Chazz's two brothers and black-clad Ojama and Armed Dragon duelist while Yusuke, Hikari, Kuwabara, Kagome, Inuyasha, and all of their friends and allies explain what happened between Akashi and Iwamoto and our two black-clad former street punks.

 

After they were done with their `stories', Rei says, drolly and annoyed tone in voice, “Great. As if we didn't have enough problems with that brainwashing freak and his Society Goons, now, we have other jerks that have their own plans for us.”

 

Mindy then says, with her usual tone, “Not to mention that Diamond and Wicked Lady characters that you defeated before and somehow came back to life. They seem to have it for Serena with this Wicked Lady girl wanting to kill her and this Prince Diamond guy obsess with the fact to try to make Serena his wife. It would be romantic with him if it wasn't so weird and obsessive.”

 

Serena replies, drolly, “Tell me about it.”

 

Alexis says, with a nasty tone, “He just thinks Serena as some kind of prize.”

 

Hikari then states, with a plain tone, “My memories of the Silver Millennium are still very fuzzy, but I do remember that female members of the Lunarian royal family were considered the most beautiful women in the universe rivaled only be the female members of Venusian royal family members since myth and legend say that the goddess of love, Aphrodite, gifted them with incredible beauty.”

 

Jasmine tells Serena, plainly, “Man! Serena, I thought all that stuff with the Shadow Riders and stuff was weird, but your adventures were no picnic with people like that gunning for you.”

 

Serena says, solemnly, “That's the story of my life.”

 

Jaden then says, changing the topic, “Anyway, what happened to your former teachers, Keiko? Last time that I checked, they were in the infirmary after that Shadow Duel with Yusuke and Kuwabara that turned them back from being two new Society Dorks.”

 

Keiko looks to her left, gives a sly smile, and states, pointing to her left, “Why don't you see for yourselves, everyone?” When everyone looks to their left, they see Iwamoto and Akashi, back in their original clothes, walking down with their heads down low while Mr. Takenaka, with an angered expression on his face, leads down past the Slifer Red dorms towards the harbor where a helicopter, arranged by Chancellor Sheppard, will take the three of them back to the mainland.

 

Akashi yells out to Takenaka, begging tone in his voice, “Mr. Takenaka, please! We didn't really mean to do anything! We were brainwashed by those weirdoes in white. They did something to do us!”

 

Takenaka yells out, angrily, “I don't want to hear any excuses from you or Iwamoto, you hear me?! You have worked on my last nerve and this time, you are going to get what you deserve! When we get back to the mainland, I want you to immediately to go to your offices and have your decks cleaned out or I will have the education board as well as the police on your backs! When I'm done with you, two, you will never work in another school ever again!”

 

Iwamoto says to Takenaka, worried and fearful tone on his lips, “But sir, where we work?”

 

Takenaka tells Iwamoto, in an angered tone, “Not my problem! You did this to yourselves, now, march!” Soon enough, the three of them pasted by our heroes and heroines and when Iwamoto and Akashi looked at them, Yusuke and Kuwabara give them their classic cheesy smiles while Keiko and Kagome give them wide sly grins.

 

Iwamoto thinks in his mind, angrily, “I don't know how you got me into more trouble, punk, but I promise you that you, your sister, and Kuwabara will pay for this! I swear that one day you will pay!”

 

Keiko tells Takenaka, kindly, “Have a safe trip back home, Mr. Takenaka.”

 

Takenaka tells Keiko, with a kind smile and tone, “Thank you, Ms. Yukimura. And good luck to you, Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Hikari. I hope to see you in the Pro Leagues one day.”

 

Yusuke tells Takenaka, with a wide sly grin, “You know it, `old man'! Catch you on the flip side!”

 

Takenaka giggles and says, “Indeed, Yusuke. Good luck and good-bye.” Soon after, he began forcing the two former teachers to the docks while the others looked on with various reactions.

 

Lita says, annoyed, “Good riddance. I knew those two were nothing, but trouble.”

 

Keiko says, with a smile and a sigh, “Lita, you don't know the half of it. At least, they won't make any other students miserable anymore.”

 

Amara says, with a serious tone, “People like that should never have been made teachers in the first place.”

 

Michelle nods her head and says, plainly, “Yes. Teachers are supposed to help and encourage students to their fullest potential, not get them into trouble and force them out of school.”

 

Kagome tells Michelle, “Well, someone didn't read the teacher's handbook when they started this job.”

 

Genkai then steps forwards and tells Serena, Jaden, and Alexis, “All right, you, three, its time to go to work.”

 

Serena, Jaden, and Alexis look at Genkai with perplexed looks and Serena asks, confused, “What do you mean?”

 

Genkai says, in her usual nasty tone, “What do you think goldilocks? It's time for you, that brother of yours, and his girlfriend to go back to your training. It has been interrupted enough!”

 

The three of them gasp in shock and Alexis says, stunned, “What?! You have got to be kidding! It's going to be night soon!”

 

Genkai gets in their faces and yells at them, in her usual nasty manner, “Do I look like I'm kidding around?! If you want to make sure the Light of Destruction is gone and to be prepared for whatever it and other evil forces send your way, you need to be prepared! IS THAT CLEAR?!” The last part of Genkai's `declaration' causing Jaden, Serena, and Alexis to yelp in shock and land on the ground on their bottoms.

 

Serena, Jaden, and Alexis nervously sweatdrop and they say in unison, nervously, “Yes, ma'am!”

 

Jasmine says, surprised, “Yipe! What a slave driver!”

 

Mindy says, with a surprised tone, “No joke! She even made Alexis jump in shock!”

 

Mina states, nervously and a bit fearfully, “Talk about strict!”

 

Serena thinks in her mind, nervously, “No joke, Mina! And I thought that my father, mother, and Luna were slave drivers! Boy, was I wrong!”

 

Yusuke says, while giving a `V' sign with his right hand and a cheesy smile and giving a sarcastic tone, “Have fun in `Grandma's Evil Boot Camp', guys!”

 

Genkai, with a sly smile, says, “Don't think that they are going alone, dimwit! You and your sister are coming, too! Since they need spiritual energy training and you and Kari are experienced with spirit energy, you are going to help! Not to mention that Alexis is a Ma-zoku, like the two of you, as well as your sister in your past lives in the Silver Millennium, so, this involves you, too!”

 

Yusuke and Hikari sweatdrop at this and they say in unison, drolly, “Just great!”

 

Alexis gives a `V' sign with her own right hand and her own cheesy smile and she tells Yusuke and Hikari, slyly, “Well, it looks like the two of you are going to join us in `Grandma's Evil Boot Camp'!”

 

Yusuke yells out, annoyed, “Oh, shut it, `Sissy'!”

 

Yusuke will soon learn that's a bad move when Alexis gains a anime-style vein on her forehead, her eye twitches, and she says, annoyed while cracking her knuckles, “What was that, Yusuke?!”

 

Yusuke yelps out in shock, hides behind Hikari in fear, and says, nervously, “Nothing!” Yusuke thinks in his mind, “Man! Jay's girlfriend and our sister are scarier when she isn't brainwashed!”

 

Kuwabara laughs at Yusuke and says, taunting tone in his voice, “Ha! Ha! Oh, man! Another girl to add in the list of fears that Urameshi has!”

 

Yusuke goes over to Kuwabara, slams his fist into his forehead, and yells out, angrily, “Oh, shut up, Kuwabara or else!”

 

Ami asks Keiko, nervously, “Is this how it is for you, Yusuke, and your friends?”

 

Keiko replies, with a sweatdrop, “A lot, Ami. Some things may never change.”

 

Kagome and Hikari sweatdrop as well and they say in unison, solemnly while nodding their heads at the same time, “Hmm . . . you said it!” On the meanwhile, Yusuke and Kuwabara continue to argue and fight while the rest of our heroes and heroines watch in a mixture of confusion, wonder, and nervousness.

 

(In the early evening hours; at the beach)

 

During the early evening hours at Academy Island, we find ourselves at the beach as we find a ship stopped offshore while a small wooden lifeboat powered by an outboard motor land on the beach. Soon after, one male figure lands on the beach and when the light of the stars and the moon land on him, we get a better look at this male figure.

 

This male figure looks to be nineteen years of age with wildly spiked dark blue hair similar to Daisuke Motomiya's spiked hairstyle from Digimon Adventure 02, deep brown eyes filled with evil and malice, pitch black leather choker around his neck, he has a dark blue shirt with the word `Malicious' in blood red letters of Japanese kanji in the center of the blue shirt, black leather jacket with spiked shoulders, black fingerless fighting gloves on his hands, a black version of the Academy duel disk on his left wrist, dark blue jeans with a black leather belt that contains the card pouch with talismans all over it, and blood red sneakers.

 

The male figure says, with a dark male voice and evil smile across his lips, “So, this is the school where Jaden-dono goes to now-a-days. If his family thought that he could hide here in order to protect him from me while gaining the skills needed to beat me and get back this forbidden deck, they are stupider than the chosen heir to the Yuki bloodline. This time, I'll finish what I started over four years ago and finish off Jaden-dono, once and for all. And not even whatever damn friends he made here or his old chums, even if they know where I am, will be able to stop me. If they do, they will suffer Jaden-dono's fate.” Soon enough, this male figure with an evil sadistic smile on his lips starts to walk towards the interior into the island looking for one person: Jaden Yuki, our Slifer Red hero.

 

(A bit later that night; Within the Slifer Red dorm)

 

Later into the night, we return to the inside of the redesigned dorm room within the Slifer Red dorm and we find Jaden Yuki, looking sore and battered, walking into the room, closing the door behind him, and locking it.

 

Jaden rubs his body and says, weakly, “Oh, man! I thought fighting that alien freak was tiring, but going through Genkai's training was a real doozy! I've got blisters and bumps in place that I don't even want to take about!” Jaden notices that the lights were on in the room and Jaden looks around to see if the `user' of the room if his girlfriend/lover, Alexis Rhodes, is in, but doesn't see her at all. Jaden says, “Guess Alexis decided to step out for a drink or something, I guess. I mean, Genkai really work me and her hard. She was just as sore as I am, if not more.” Soon enough, Jaden goes downstairs, throws off his blackened clothes on a nearby chair, leaving him totally nude, and heads to the hot spring in the bathroom that Chazz made in his custom made dorm room, not noticing a black and blue female Obelisk Blue uniform neatly packed on the couch. Jaden gets a towel to wrap around his pelvic area and he walks into the room containing the hot spring, but when he looks inside, he yelps to see his girlfriend/lover relaxing in the hot spring, totally nude, with a towel on the towel rack. The two of them look at each other in shock, with a wide blush on their cheeks, and unable to say a word for several moments. Just then Jaden yelps in shock and exclaims, closing his eyes, “Ah! Alexis! Whoa! That's my bad! I didn't know that you were in!”

 

Alexis gives a sly smile and says, with a mock insulted tone, “Jaden, I didn't know that you were such a major perv!”

 

Jaden yelps and says, nervously, “No! Wait! I didn't know that you were in!”

 

Alexis says, with a sly smile and in a mock annoyed tone, “Yeah, right, Jay! Good excuse!”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, nervously, “Come on, `Lex! I'm not like anything Yusuke was before he decided to grow up!” Just then he hears Alexis come out of the water and Jaden says, really nervously, “Wait! Don't hurt me!”

 

However, he hears Alexis giggle and her voice calls out, slyly, “Now, why would I hurt my own boyfriend?” When Jaden opens his eyes, his eyes widen to see his girlfriend, totally naked, standing in front of him. Jaden says, in a protest, “But it was an accident.”

 

Alexis replies, slyly, “I know, but maybe she should look before you leap, Jay.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a sly smile, “I'll remember that Lex. But I think that you forget something, Alexis.”

 

Alexis asks Jaden, “What do you mean by that, Jaden?” Just then Jaden splashes her with a bit of hot spring water and Jaden gives a wide grin from that.

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “You should remember that all's fair in love and war, Lex.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, slyly, “Well, if all's fair, Jay . . .” Alexis then splashes Jaden with more water from the hot spring and the two of them continue to splash each other for awhile, but then Jaden stops splashing Alexis, goes over to her, and kisses her on the lips passionately. Soon enough, the two of them embrace each other and lock their lips in a passionate kiss, dueling with their tongues, and tasting each other's saliva and mouths. During this passionate kissing, Jaden moves his right hand to Alexis' left breast and starts to gently massage and fondle it. When they break from the kiss, Alexis causes him to moan in pleasure.

Alexis cringes at the bad memories, shakes her head, Jaden kisses her on the lips, and Jaden tells Alexis, “Okay, Alexis, let's promise not to talk about them for the night. Will that be sweet?”

 

Alexis replies, with a smile, “You had better, Jay. Or you will regret.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “No kidding. I know better than that.” Alexis gives a wider sly smile and soon enough, they continued their bath in the hot spring together while continuing their `make out' session.

 

(Later that night; Within Jaden's mind)

 

Inside of Jaden's mind, we find our Slifer Red hero, in his original clothing and hair color, walking around in what seems like to be endless darkness. Jaden gives a sigh of annoyance and looks around for a certain `part' of himself created by the Darkness of Salvation: Namely his `dark half' known as Dark Jaden.

 

Jaden yells out, annoyed, “Okay, bro, this isn't funny anymore! Come on out! What is this time?! Do you want me to duel Bastion on the roof of Duel Academy and the loser falls to his doom?!”

 

Just then Dark Jaden's voice rings out, with a dark serious tone, “Not a bad idea, bro! I should remember that one!” Jaden turns to the source of the voice to see his `dark counterpart' staring at him with a dark perplexed look on his features, which are similar to our Slifer Red hero's features. Dark Jaden tells Jaden, with a dark serious tone, “However, bro, I didn't bring you here. You did. You are experiencing one hell of a dream.”

 

Jaden asks Dark Jaden, perplexed, “What do you mean?”

 

Dark Jaden points ahead of Jaden and asks, with a serious tone, “Take a look for yourself, bro. And can you tell me what that monster is?” Jaden looks to where Dark Jaden is pointing at and he gasps in horror in what he sees along with his eyes widening. In front of Jaden is a humanoid monster with dark blue and black armor, dark blue gantlets on his arms going up slightly past his elbows with two to two and one-half foot claws coming out of the gantlets, his exposed skin on his arms was very dark, dark blue and black metallic wings coming out of its back, and its human-like head covered in a dark blue helmet shaped like a demonic dragon's head covering his eyes and nose while exposing the monster's mouth, which is surround by the same dark skin as on the exposed arms.

 

Jaden takes a step back, winches in fear, and says, fearfully, “No. Not that monster!”

 

Dark Jaden asks, in a dark curious tone, “I see that you know that monster, Jay. But who is that? This guy is locked in your deepest and darkest memories, but I don't know who it is.”

 

Jaden asks, annoyed, “Aren't you supposed to be my dark side, pal?!”

 

Dark Jaden tells Jaden, in a dark serious tone, “Hey, bro, I'm nothing like that asshole, the Light of Destruction, remember that?! I may be a part of you, but I'm also a creation from the Darkness of Salvation and I just don't go into all of people's memories just like that. That makes just like that freak of nature!”

 

Just then a female voice calls out, “Jaden . . . Jaden-sama . . .”

 

Dark Jaden says, curiously, “Hey, that voice is from one of your `dark memories'. I heard coming from those memories before.”

 

Jaden gasps in shock and asks, stunned, “Alyssa-oneesan?” Jaden then looks to his right to see a young girl of 11 to 12 years of age with beautiful blond hair that reached to her buttocks region, bright cheery red eyes, blue shirt under a dark green jacket, wearing tight fitting black shorts that go to the tops of her kneecaps, white socks, and black sneakers. Jaden says, fearfully, “No . . . No . . . Not this . . . Not again . . .”

 

Just then an evil male voice yells out, with pure malice and hate in his voice, “Evil Hero Malicious Devil, end this! Kill Alyssa-chan!” The humanoid monster launches itself towards the young girl and Jaden calls out in horror.

 

Jaden shouts out, fearfully, “Alyssa-oneesan, get out of there!” The young girl turns towards Jaden and gives him a warm and comforting smile before turning back towards the evil looking monster coming towards her. She closes her eyes and a look of determination and strength, much like Alexis when she is dueling and aiding her friends comes over herself expression before the vicious monster impales her with his right claw right through the chest causing the young girl to cough out some blood.

 

Just then a younger version of Jaden's voice cries out, with pure horror in his voice and tone, “NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ALYSSA-ONEESAN!!!” They look to the source of the voice, they see a younger version of Jaden, exactly the same or a bit younger than the young girl, beating with multiple black and blues, his clothes torn, and blood coming out of multiple wounds giving him a look of barely being alive while trying to reach out to impaled young girl with his right hand.

 

The impaled young girl says, with her dying breath and a warm smile, “Jaden-dono . . . you are the greatest duelist . . . that I have ever known . . . and have been like a brother . . . *cough* . . . to me . . . *cough* . . . fulfill our dream . . . become the best . . . *cough* . . . and please . . . *cough* . . . always remain who you are . . . pure and full of light, love, and life . . . *cough* . . . I'll always be with you, Jaden-dono . . . always . . .!” The vicious dark blue and black armored humanoid monster yanks his claw from the young girl's chest causing a lot of blood to gush out of the wound while the girl rolls back her eyes and collapses to ground on her back before her life finally fades away.

 

Jaden holds his head and says, fearfully and with tears coming out of his eyes, “Not again. Oh, lord, please not again.”

 

Just then an evil male voice calls out, with malice in his tone, “That's right, Jaden-dono.” Soon enough, Jaden turns to the source of the voice and sees the male figure that we saw earlier when he arrived on Duel Academy stand before him.

 

Jaden expression becomes one of darken anger and rage and he exclaims, “Kraus-sama!”

 

The male figure says, with an evil grin, “That's right, Jaden-dono. I warned you, didn't I? I warned you that I would return . . . to take all that you love and all that you have from you before taking away your life! I took the one that you call `brother' cared about the most and now, I will do the same for you!” Just then images of Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Chazz, Atticus, and Serena nailed to black crosses and beaten to a pulp and bloody appear behind the evil male figure known as Kraus.

 

Jaden screams out in horror, “Alexis! Syrus! Hassleberry! Chazz! Atticus! Serena!”

 

Syrus says, weakly, “Jaden . . . run for it . . . save yourself . . .”

 

Hassleberry says, coughing out blood from his mouth and weakly, “He . . . He's too strong . . . You can't win, Sarge . . . You've got to retreat . . .”

 

Jaden calls out, shocked, “No way! I can't leave you!”

 

Alexis says, weakly, “Jay . . . please . . . please live . . . please get out here . . . I can't . . . lose you . . .”

 

Jaden shouts out, seriously, “No! I won't abandon you!”

 

Kraus calls out, with an evil sadistic tone and smile, “Then you will die with them and your beloved monsters, too! Malicious Devil, kill Jaden-dono!” The evil monster moves in towards Jaden, but Elemental Hero Neos appears to stop the evil monster, however, the evil monster impales Neos with his claws right through his chest.

 

Jaden shouts out, horrified, “Neos, no!”

 

Neos says, weakly, “Jaden . . . believe in yourself . . . you are the one of the Chosen Ones . . . your friends and I believe in you . . .” Just then Neos shatters into pieces and the evil monster moves in to finish off Jaden causing him to scream as the death blow comes nearer and nearer. Soon after, Jaden wakes up in a cold sweat on his bed and looks over to see Alexis looking at him with concern and worry. Both of them were on the large bed in the room with the two of them totally nude on the bed with only the blanket covering their legs and lower regions.

 

Alexis asks Jaden, concerned, “Jaden, are you all right? You were moaning and groaning as well as rocking in your sleep. Are you okay?”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, breathing heavily after the nightmare, “Yeah, it was just a horrible dream.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a concerned tone, “It sounded pretty bad. You were calling out my name, Syrus' name, and how you wouldn't abandon us.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, “Sorry, but ever since this whole mess start, it has really gotten to me.”

 

Just then the spirit of Cyber Tutu appears and she asks him, “My princess is concerned for you, Jaden. You also called out the name `Alyssa-oneesan'. Who is that?”

 

Jaden replies, nervously, “Just a friend . . . that left my life a long time ago.”

 

Alexis asks, concerned, “Did she die or something?”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, nervously, “Yeah. She died some years ago.”

 

Alexis asks Jaden, in a concerned tone “Would you like to talk about it?”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a nervous smile, “No, I'm okay. It was just a bad dream. All this insanity must have really got to my head, but I'll be fine.”

 

Alexis asks Jaden, concerned, “Are you sure?”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, mustering up a smile, “Sure, Lex. You see, by tomorrow, I'll be the same sweet self, again.” Jaden kisses her on the forehead and goes to sleep while Alexis lies down on her beloved's chest, but before she sleeps, she feels Jaden holding her gently while making sure he has a firm grip on her causing Alexis to become concerned. However, since she didn't want to make things worse after Jaden's `nightmare', she went to sleep, slowly at first, but soon enough, she was in a deep sleep.

 

(The following day; In front of the `White Dorm')

 

The following morning, we find the white-clad Blair Flannigan and Molly Baker along with one dozen male and female SOL members come out of the `White Dorm' and into the middle of the paved pathway towards the Ra Yellow and Slifer Red dorms.

 

Blair tells the SOL member, with a cold serious tone, “Come on, dorks, we need to get ready for Master Sartorius' plan!”

 

Molly says, with a cold nasty tone that's unlike her before, “Can't you geeks get the lead out? If we are going to bring Serena and all of her friends into the light, we can't mess things up anymore than that they have!”

 

Blair tells Molly, with a cold serious tone, “You can do whatever you like with that Moon Princess, but that fucking wench, Alexis Rhodes, is mine and soon, I will have Jaden-chan all to myself in the light.”

 

Molly tells Blair, in a cold plain tone, “Just make sure that you bring Jaden Yuki into the Society of Light and he will be by your side like Sartorius-sama promised.”

 

Just then an evil male voice calls out, in an evil curious tone, “Did you say Jaden Yuki?”

 

Blair says, with a cold serious tone, “Who said that?!” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see the young man that Jaden saw in his `nightmare' come out of the bushes and into the open.

 

The man says, with an evil serious tone, “Where is Jaden Yuki?”

 

Molly yells out, in a cold serious tone, “Who are you?!”

 

The man replies, with an evil nasty tone, “I don't need to explain myself to some weird white-clad weirdoes that use too much bleach in their laundry!”

 

Blair yells out, in a cold angered tone, “Hey! Do you know who we are pal?! We are members of the elite Society of Light!”

 

The man replies, evilly, “Never heard of you, freaks! Now, I will only ask one more time: Where is Jaden Yuki?!”

 

A male SOL member yells out, in a cold angered tone, “Okay, that's it! No one talk to members of the Society of Light that and gets away with it, especially some asshole nonbeliever! I'm going to teach you a lesson about our power!” The male SOL members attaches a duel disk to his left wrist and puts a dueling deck inside. He then says, evilly, “It's time for you to see the light, pal!”

 

The young man replies, evilly, “Don't make me laugh, fool! You wouldn't last a few second against me!”

 

A male SOL member replies, in a cold angered tone, “Wrong, nonbeliever! I've got destiny on my side!”

 

The young man replies, with an evil sadistic smile on his face, “Really? Let's put that to the test against the power that I weld!” The young man then reveals his card pouch held together by sutras.

 

Molly says, with a cold perplexed tone, “Hey, his cards are held in his pouch by sutras. I've seen Rei use them at her temple at Cherry Hill back home in Tokyo. They are supposed to seal off dark and evil powers.” The young man then removes the sutras from his card pouch and removes a dueling deck which immediately starts to glow with a pitch black aura.

 

Blair says, with a cold serious tone, “I don't like the look of this.” Just then the heat of the area increases to nearly unbearable levels and all of the SOL members start to sweat immediately.

 

One female SOL member says, perplexed, “What the hell is going on here? Why do I feel so hot all of sudden?”

 

Molly says, with a cold confused tone, “It's like I'm boiling out here.” The young man puts the deck into his black version of the Academy duel disk and activates it, displaying 4000 life-points for him.

 

The male SOL member says, with a cold serious tone while activating his duel disk, “Are you ready to see the light?”

 

The young man gives an evil giggle and he says, with an evil malicious tone, “No, my pathetic friend, are you ready . . . to experience pain like you have never experienced before?” His eyes glow a vicious and evil blood red and his body becomes engulfed in a pitch black aura as he draws his first five cards causing the SOL members to become unnerved a bit. Soon enough, both duelists draw five cards from their decks.

 

The two duelists shout out in unison, “Let's duel!” However, after three minutes, a bright blood red glow appears in front of the `White Dorm' and a blood raising scream is heard before it dies down with the blood red glow. Soon after, we look to see the male SOL member on his back with a blank look in his eyes, a look of pure horror and terror in his expression, and his body squirming around with his cards spread about him while his duel disk's life-point counter reads zero before de-activating. Blair, Molly, and the other SOL member look at this new duelist with horror and terror in their eyes while he has a look of evil satisfaction and malice in his eyes.

 

Molly asks, fearfully, “What is he?”

 

Another male SOL member says, fearfully, “That guy isn't human at all! He is a demon!”

 

The young man says, with an evil smile on his lips, “More like the devil actually.” The young man's features become an evil scowl and he exclaims, in a dark annoyed tone, “Now, be glad that I spared his life because I could have gone further! Now, where is Jaden Yuki?! Talk or be the next victim of my deck and my power!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Perhaps I can help, my good man.” Everyone looks to the source to see none other than Sartorius come out of the main doors to the `White Dorm' and into the open.

 

The SOL members gasp in shock and Blair tells Sartorius, shocked, “Master, what are you doing out here?! Please get back inside! This nonbeliever is dangerous!”

Sartorius says, with an evil smile on his lips, “Dangerous indeed, Ms. Flannigan. However, who he is dangerous too is another story right now.”

 

The young man asks Sartorius, with an evil glare, “Who are you, freak?”

 

Sartorius bows in front of the young man and says, “Greeting, my name is Sartorius. I am the leader of the Society of Light.”

 

The young man says, with a curious look, “I heard of you. I thought that you were a profession dueling manager.”

 

Sartorius replies, with an evil smile, “I was, my friend. But that was a front for my true calling when I saw the light. Now, how do you know Jaden Yuki?”

 

The young man replies, with an evil smirk, “Let's just say that he and I have a `score' to settle.”

 

Sartorius replies, with an evil smile, “Interesting. Well, we have something in common. You see, Jaden Yuki is one of six obstacles in the way my Society's and my scared mission and there seems like no one in the Society that can defeat him.”

 

The young man looks over the group of SOL members, including unconscious one, and says, in an evil nasty tone, “With these pathetic wenches and idiots that you call duelists, I'm not surprised. Jaden-dono has incredible talent ever since he was a young child. Life created him to be a duelist.”

 

Sartorius says, with a curious tone, “Jaden-dono? `Dono' is a Japanese suffix that means great respect like in the terms of `lord' or `master', through not as much as `sama'.”

 

The young man says, with an evil smile, “Let's just say that I respected Jaden-dono for quite a while until he got in my way.”

 

Sartorius asks, in a curious tone and evil smile, “Really?”

 

The young man replies, with an evil grin, “Yes. He got in the way of my power and he lost something or someone that he really cared about like an older sister to him.”

 

Sartorius says, with an interested evil grin, “You seem to know a lot about Jaden Yuki's past.”

 

The young man replies, “I know things not even whatever current friends or his other childhood friends, Yusuke and Hikari Urameshi, Kuzama Kuwabara, Keiko Yukimura, and Kagome Higurashi knows about. And that's because I'm part of the secrets of Jaden-dono's past.” The young man holds up his duel disk containing the mysterious deck and says, “For example, this deck is a forbidden deck that Jaden-dono's family is supposed to guard. You see, Jaden is the heir to an ancient legacy, much like Zane Truesdale, who I've heard about in the Underground Dueling rings, expect it can only be inherited from the Yuki family bloodline, which Jaden is the heir.”

 

Sartorius says, with a very interested evil grin, “Very interesting indeed. And I suspect that Jaden has hidden in because it begins back the pain and sorrow that most likely you had caused him in his childhood.”

 

The young man says, with a sly evil grin, “Well, you are pretty good. Yes. And now, it is time for me to end the Yuki bloodline since Jaden-dono is the only one who can truly stop this deck.”

 

Sartorius tells the young man, “My Society and I might not look like much, but we have plenty of resources that can help you towards your goal if you help in ours. However, you don't need to join our Society. All you need to do is to duel Jaden Yuki for us.”

 

The young man replies, with a sly evil grin, “That was the plan, but why do I need your help?”

 

Sartorius replies, with a sly evil grin and plain tone, “Because we can provide with the information about Jaden Yuki today, his current friends, and ways to lure him into any trap. As long as you duel him and win, we can do the rest.”

 

The young man replies, nodding his head, “I've got to say, pal, you have a good point. The name is Kraus Wellstone!”

 

Sartorius asks Kraus, “Well, Mr. Wellstone, what type of deck is that? I noticed some familiar monsters in it.”

 

Kraus gives a wide evil grin and replies, with an evil smile, “You should if you are the enemy of Jaden-dono. This forbidden deck is the opposite of his Elemental Hero deck that he inherited from his father and the deck that the Yuki family sealed away after these cards was made. It is known as the Evil Heroes deck. Plus, there is a card in this deck that wasn't made by Pegasus or Industrial Illusions. It was created by the darkness of duelists' souls.”

 

Sartorius asks, amazed, “The darkness within duelists' souls?”

 

Kraus nods his head and says, with an evil smile, “That's right. This card is so powerful that it needed other duelists' souls in order to awaken its great power. It is one of the most powerful spell cards even known and it is very hard to defeat.”

 

Sartorius says, with a wide evil grin, “Very interesting. Can you come in and tell me more?”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Sure. Since we are working together, you have a right to know about the method that Jaden-dono will be defeated and his past that will lead to his defeat.” Soon enough, Kraus walks inside, past plenty of fearful SOL members, Molly and all of the SOL members, minus Blair, walk into the `White Dorm'.

 

Blair asks Sartorius, worriedly, “Master, are you sure that this is wise? What if that asshole hurts Jaden-chan? He isn't one of us.”

 

Sartorius tells Blair, in his mystic voice, “Don't worry, Ms. Flannigan. He and the rest of the world will be soon enough.”

 

Blair asks Sartorius, concerned, “But Sartorius-sama, what if he hurts Jaden-chan? We can't trust him to bring Jaden-chan into the light!”

 

Sartorius tells Blair, with his eyes glowing, “Ms. Flannigan, trust in me. He will help bring Jaden Yuki into the light and he will be by your side allowing you to make Alexis Rhodes pay for using him and betraying us. Do you understand?”

 

Blair's eyes become dull and lifeless and she replies, emotionlessly, “Yes, Master.”

 

Sartorius nods his head and says, in a plain tone, “Now, please head inside and we will discuss our plans to lure Jaden Yuki into the light.” Blair nods her head and walks inside without any hesitation. Soon after, Sartorius also heads inside and closes the door with his newest ally to plan his latest plot to defeat Jaden Yuki, our Slifer Red hero, Prince of the Moon Kingdom, and brother to our Moon Princess.

 

(Later that morning; in another area on Academy Island)

 

Later that day, we find our darkened Sailor Scout of Saturn and our darkened Vehicle duelist relaxing by a fresh-water lake and looking up in the sky with smiles on their faces.

 

Hotaru asks Syrus, with a smile, “It's nice out here, isn't it?”

 

Syrus smiles in reply and tells Hotaru, “Yep.”

 

Hotaru asks Syrus, with a warm smile, “It's nice for once to relax and not have the worries on the world on your shoulders.” Soon after, Hotaru gets to her feet and Syrus looks amazed as the wind blows past her hair while Hotaru closes her eyes giving a sweet smile causing Syrus to blush, thinking that she is so beautiful. Hotaru is a few years younger than him, but it didn't matter to him. Like Serena and Darien, age didn't matter with love and it made Syrus wonder.

 

Syrus asks Hotaru, as he stands up, “Hey, Hotaru?”

 

Hotaru looks at Syrus and she asks, curiously, “Yes, Syrus-chan?”

 

Syrus asks, curiously, “Do you think that you and I . . . you know . . . shared a time together in the Silver Millennium?”

 

Hotaru replies, with a smile, “Who knows, Syrus-chan? Maybe we did. Maybe like Serena and Darien, we had found our way to each other through a bond that we forged long ago. But what matters is that we are together and we've nearly got all our friends back.”

 

Syrus says, with a smile, “Yeah. You are right.” Syrus says, with a sigh, “Hotaru, do you think that Serena will be okay?”

 

Hotaru tells Syrus, with a sigh, “Serena-hime already had a hard time with what happened to Darien-kun and the rest of us and now, she is trying so hard to control her emotions. However, she has always come through and I'm sure that once this is over, she can start to really heal. I believe in her. She is the one that saved my life and risked everything to save him during the final battle with Pharaoh Ninety.”

 

Syrus says, with a nod, “Yeah, I can see why. It's still hard for me to believe that my best bud is an alien prince and brother to Sailor Moon herself. And now, one day, he is going to be one of the rulers of the world with Serena as the new King of Egypt.”

 

Hotaru tells Syrus, with a smile, “However, Syrus-chan, you can't let too many people know about the future. Serena-hime's rule won't come about if too many people know about it.”

 

Syrus tells Hotaru, with a smile, “Don't worry, Hotaru, I won't tell anyone unless you tell me too.”

 

Hotaru tells Syrus, with a loving smile, “You're the greatest, Syrus-chan.” Hotaru kisses Syrus on the right cheek causing his cheeks to flush with a bright cheery red.

 

However, a harsh female voice calls out, with a cold nasty tone, “Ah, how sweet. Two traitors out on a date.” Hotaru and Syrus whip towards the source of the voice to see a group of SOL members, male and female, in front of them.

 

The two of them get dark nasty looks on their faces and Syrus says, in a dark nasty tone, “What do you dorks want this time?! Can't my girlfriend and I have some peace?”

 

Just then Crowler comes up to the group, goes in front of the other SOL members, and Crowler says, with a cold serious tone, “You and Ms. Tomoe are coming with us.”

 

Hotaru says, with a dark serious tone, “No way! Syrus-chan and I won't be joining you Society of Losers ever again!”

 

The SOL members get angered by Hotaru's remark, but Crowler gains a cold sly smile and states, with a cold sly tone, “Who said that you would be returning to the Society of Light at this time? We can bring you back anytime that we wish. We need you for someone else! Jaden Yuki to be more precise.”

 

Syrus says, with a dark nasty tone, “Not this time, dork! I'm not going to bait for you white freaks to lure my best friend into one of your damn traps ever again!”

 

Just then a cold female voice call out, “That's what you think, twerp!” Hotaru and Syrus try to turn their heads to see who that voice was, but then they scream out in shock as they shocked by two stun guns and knocked into unconsciousness with them falling to the ground on their stomachs. Hovering over their unconscious forms, the white-clad Blair Flannigan and Molly Baker with stun guns in their right hands.

 

Crowler tells the two of them, with a cold sly smile, “Good work, Ms. Flannigan. We have Jaden Yuki's best friend along with one of his sister's good friends.”

 

Molly says, with a cold sly smile, “All we need is one of Yusuke Urameshi's good friends and someone that Kagome Higurashi cares about.”

 

Blair replies, with an evil confident smile, “Don't worry about it, everyone. It is already taken care of.”

 

(Elsewhere on Academy Island; A short time later)

 

In another area of Academy Island, we find Kuzama Kuwabara, with his duel disk that has his dueling deck inside, walking in a clearing in the middle of a forest with a pissed off look on his face.

 

Kuwabara says, with a dark nasty tone, “Where is that dork? That damn geek, Bastion Misawa, challenged me to a duel and that white freak doesn't have the courage to show up!”

 

Just then a male voice with a French accent and cold serious tone, “Not exactly, Monsieur.” Kuwabara looks to the source of the voice to see the white-clad former Vice-Chancellor of Duel Academy, Bonaparte, standing before him.

 

Kuwabara says, with a dark nasty tone, “What do you want, half-pant?! Did your fellow geek, Bastion, chicken out?”

 

Bonaparte tells Kuwabara, with a cold sly tone, “No. He has other important businesses to perform, so, there won't be a duel. However, you are coming with us.”

 

Kuwabara says, with a dark sly smile and dark nasty tone, “Oh, yeah! Who is going to make me, shrimp?! You?!”

 

Bonaparte says, with a cold sly smile, “I was hoping that you would say that!” Bonaparte then quickly takes out a teaser, shoots it at Kuwabara, and before he could react, two electrodes enter his skin and he yelps out as thousands of volts of electricity surge into his body, making him fall to the ground, and temporary incapacitating him. Bonaparte and another male SOL member, who joins him with a baseball bat, goes over to the fallen Kuwabara, who couldn't move, thanks to the teaser and the surprise of the use. Bonaparte says, with a cold sly grin, “How do you like our newest piece of equipment? Thanks to Master Sartorius, we found a way of capturing you without having to go with much effort. Plus, these were re-designed with your spirit and demon energies in mind. The knowledge that we gained thanks to our former member, Ms. Yukimura.”

 

Kuwabara roars out, angrily, “When you ruthlessly dueled and brainwashed her into one of you mindless tools!”

 

Bonaparte says, with a cold sly smile, “I should have expected such a reaction from a nonbeliever like you, kid. But soon enough, you will see the light and find that no one can escape destiny. Especially your best friend from your childhood: Jaden Yuki.”

 

Kuwabara shouts out, in a dark angered tone, “You lay one hand on my pal and I will . . .” But just then the male SOL member hits Kuwabara on the head, really hard, with the baseball bat, knocking him totally senseless, but thanks to his thick head and spirit energy, Kuwabara isn't seriously injured, however, he gets a nasty gash on his forehead with anime-type spirals in his eyes.

 

Bonaparte says, with a cold annoyed tone, “About time that he shut up. Let's go.” Soon enough, the male SOL member drags Kuwabara by the collar away while Bonaparte leads them into the woods, his finger on the trigger on the teaser just in case they need to stun Kuwabara again.

 

(Outside of the Ra Yellow dorms; A short time soon after)

 

Near the Ra Yellow dorms, we find our darkened Obelisk Blue Queen, Alexis Rhodes, standing in front of the Ra Yellow dorms as Tyranno Hassleberry exits the dorm and is surprised to see Alexis waiting for him.

 

Tyranno asks Alexis, “Hi, there, Private Lexy. What are you doing in front of the Ra Yellow barracks?”

 

Alexis tells Tyranno, “Yusuke asked Jaden if he had seen Kuwabara around. He didn't meet up with Kari, Keiko, and he to start looking for more white dorks to duel and weaken that white cult of theirs. I told Jaden and Yusuke that I would check up on their friend. Do you know if he is here?”

 

Tyranno tells Alexis, “Come to think of it, when he left, Private Kuwabara told me to tell Jaden and Yusuke that he had some important business to take care of and would make with them later.”

 

Alexis asks Tyranno, curiously, “What kind of `important business'?”

 

Tyranno tells Alexis, “He didn't say, Alexis.”

 

Alexis says, shaking her head, “That isn't good. We can't split up or those geeks will try to pick us off. Even with the powers of the Darkness of Salvation on our side, we shouldn't let our guards down. Let's get over to the other and tells them what's happened.”

 

Tyranno nods his head and says, “Ten-four, ma'am! Let's go!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, with a cold logical tone, “I'm afraid that you won't be going anyway, you two.” Alexis and Tyranno turn to the source of the voice to see the white haired and white-clad Bastion Misawa with a group of SOL members in front of them.

 

Alexis tells her `former' friend, in a dark nasty tone, “What do you want, white geek?”

 

Tyranno says, with a dark serious tone, “If you hadn't noticed, this is a `white dork free' barracks! So, get lost!”

 

Bastion says, with a cold serious tone, “Sorry, but I won't be leaving! You, two, are coming with us!”

 

Alexis replies, with a dark nasty tone, “There is no way that I'm joining up with that fucking freak ever again!”

 

Bastion says, with a cold serious tone, “Watch what you say about Master Sartorius, Alexis!”

 

Alexis retorts, with a dark sly grin and dark nasty tone, “Well, what are you going to do about, geek?”

 

Tyranno says, with a dark sly grin, “If you want to get us, you will have to duel us first!”

 

Bastion says, with a cold sly smile on his lips, “I'm afraid that won't be happening nonbelievers.”

 

Alexis replies, with a dark nasty tone, “Why not?”

 

Bastion replies, with a cold sly grin, “I was hoping that you would ask that, traitor.” Bastion snaps his fingers, two female SOL members leap out of the bushes, and they fires two teasers at Alexis. Alexis, surprised by this, couldn't react in time and when the electrodes stick in her body, Alexis cries out in pain as she is shocked with a lot of electric force. This causes her to immediately collapse to the ground and into unconsciousness.

 

Tyranno yells out, shocked, “Alexis!” Tyranno prepares to help, but he then yells out in pain as he is shocked by a stun gun from behind and he immediately falls to the ground, unconsciousness, causing Eri to appear with a stun gun in her right hand.

 

Just then Bastion's PDA beeps, he activates it, Yuka's and Ayumi's face appear on the screen, and Ayumi says, with a cold sly grin, “We've got Kagome's bratty brother.”

 

Bastion says, with a cold sly smile, “Excellent work. Now, bring him to facility and prepares for the next phase of the plan.”

 

Yuka replies, with a cold plain tone, “Right.” The screen goes blank, Bastion closes the PDA, and Bastion goes over to Alexis' fallen form.

 

Bastion says, with an evil smile on his lips, “Now, you will pay for betraying the Society of Light, wench.”

 

(Sometime later; Back in front of the Slifer Red dorms)

 

Returning to the Slifer Red dorms, we find all of our heroes and heroines, minus Alexis, Syrus, Hotaru, Tyranno, Kuwabara, and Inuyasha, along with Yugi, Atem, and their friends assembled together in front of the Slifer Red dorms. Alexis, Syrus, Hotaru, Tyranno, and Kuwabara have been missing for sometime and our heroes and heroines are looking for them with Inuyasha still looking around for any sign of them. Soon enough, Inuyasha leaps down from the tree and lands in front of them.

 

Our heroes and heroines look at Inuyasha and Kagome asks, worriedly, “Did you find them?”

 

Inuyasha shakes his head and replies, “No. Not a trace of your brother or our missing friends. Myoga, Miroku, and Sango, using Kirara, are still looking along with Serena's alien friends and your cousins' demon and human friends, but they have nothing to report so far.” Inuyasha snorts and says, with a nasty glare, “I seem Society Dweebs behind this. I can smell it.”

 

Jaden says, slamming his foot into the ground, “Damn! I should have gone with her!”

 

Atticus tells Jaden, reassuringly, “We didn't know that this would happen, Jay. You can't blame yourself. Besides, my sister is a lot stronger than she used to be with her new powers and the Darkness of Salvation helping her. Plus, she wants to help you in anyway that she can for various reasons.”

 

Jaden tells Atticus, worriedly, “I know, Atticus. But if anything happens to her . . .”

 

Serena tells Jaden, “Don't worry, Jaden. We will make sure that nothing happens to Alexis this time.”

 

Keiko smiles and tells Jaden, “Promise.”

 

Jaden says, with his usual smile, “Thank you.”

 

Lita says, with a dark snarl, “Well, I think that Inuyasha is right! Those dorks have got to be behind this!”

 

Rei says, with a dark nasty growl, “They must have captured them with some kind of underhanded tactic! I wouldn't be surprised! Since we can kick their asses in dueling, they decided to get rid of us to get us out of the way!”

 

Yeshua says, with his logical tone, “That might be partially true. The rest of you don't matter to the Light of Destruction's and Sartorius' evil side's plans, but remember, he needs Serena, Jaden, Aster, Yusuke, Hikari, and Kagome since they are the six Chosen Duelists in order to conquer the whole universe.”

 

Amara says, with a dark nasty snarl, “Damn him! They must be using Firefly and the others as bait to lure them into a trap!”

 

Atem says, with a serious tone, “I can't see any other reason why they would kidnap your friends.”

 

Jaden says, with a dark angered snarl, “That freak is starting to get on my nerves! He's using my friends like he did before back in Domino!”

 

Serena says, with a dark scowl, “We shouldn't be surprised. He loves to play with our emotions.”

 

Hikari says, with a dark nasty scowl, “No surprise, girlfriend. That alien freak of nature is starting to push my limits.”

 

Michelle says, with a dark serious tone, “If anything happens to Firefly, I don't care if they are controlled or not. I will . . .”

 

Darien tells Michelle, with a dark plain tone, “Easy, Michelle. This is what that asshole wants us to be. Letting our emotions get the better of us so we can be defeated easier and our anger and rage feed that demon.”

 

Yusuke says, with a dark angered tone, “Let's how much of an appetite that asshole has with my fist down his throat . . . if he had a mouth or a throat!”

 

Just then Jaden's PDA activates, he opens the screen, Sartorius' face appears on the screen, and he says, with an evil smile on his lips, “Greetings, my young friends.”

 

Jaden replies, with a dark nasty tone, “We aren't your friends asshole. Now, where is Alexis, Syi, Hassleberry, and the rest of our friends?!”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil smile, “My, you have a quite the temper today, Jaden.”

 

Yusuke moves the PDA screen to show Sartorius his enraged face and he yells out, “We don't have time for games asshole?! Where are our friends?!”

 

Lita calls out, darkly, “And if anything happened to them, I will . . .”

 

Sartorius chuckles evilly and says, not threatened, “Or you will what, Ms. Kino?! Well, I can assure that they are safe and haven't seen the light again if you are worried about that. But all of them staying that way are up to you.” Just then a map of Academy Island with a red `X' in the middle of a forest behind the main building and Sartorius' voice says, with his usual evil tone, “You and your sister along with all of your friends left with you are to be at this location in one hour or . . . well, let's just say that your friends will pay the price for interfering and in the case of Alexis Rhodes, Syrus Truesdale, and Hotaru Tomoe, betraying the Society of Light.”

 

Amara yells out, in a dark angered tone, “You lay one hand on Firefly and there is no where you can hide, freak!”

 

Jaden says, with a dark angered scowl on his expression, “If you do anything to harm Alexis, I will come over there and rip you out of Sartorius' body myself, space freak!” The rest of Jaden's friends and allies are surprised by Jaden's outburst.

 

Sartorius' voice booms, evilly, “I would like to see you try, your majesty. But I would advise you to watch your temper since you beloved Alexis Rhodes and two of your best friends are currently at my mercy. Farewell.” Just then Sartorius' voice leaves the screen, leaving only the map on Jaden's PDA on the screen.

 

Mindy says, with a dark angered snarl, “This has got be a trap.”

 

Chazz tells Mindy, with a dark serious tone, “Obviously, Mindy!”

 

Serena says, with a dark serious tone, “Well, we don't have a choice. Let's go.”

 

Chazz tells Serena, with his dark serious tone, “Hello, Meatball Head! That's what that alien freak wants you to do! You are playing right into his hands!”

 

Jaden tells Chazz, serious and determined tone in his voice, “We know, Chazz! However, Alexis and our friends are there and we're not going to abandon them!”

 

Keiko tells Ami, seriously, “We had better contact the others and tells them to meet us at that location.”

 

Ami nods her head and states, in a serious tone, “Right!”

 

Lita yells out, in a serious tone, “Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go!” Not needing another word, our heroes and heroines spring into a run to head for that location that Sartorius put in the map that he sent to Jaden's PDA.

 

Kagome thinks in her mind, with a dark angered expression on her face, “Don't worry, Sota! I'm coming! That asshole won't get away with this! You, alien freak, if there is one hair on Sota's head out of place, there won't be any place to hide from me!”

 

(Around one hour later; in an unknown location on Academy Island)

 

Now, we find ourselves inside of a room filled with light where we find Alexis Rhodes, bound to the floor by thick steel chains with steel cuffs on her wrists and ankles and surrounded by sutras as well as lying down on her stomach, groan as she slowly wakes up and goes into a sitting position.

 

Alexis rubs her forehead and asks, “What the hell happened to me?” When Alexis opens her eyes, she gasps to see the cuffs on her wrists and the chains into the concrete floor and yells out, shocked, “Hey! What's going on here?!” Alexis tries to pull on the chains, but she can't get them off and she feels weak. Alexis asks, perplexed, “What's going on?! What happened to my powers?!”

 

Just then a familiar gruff male voice calls out, “It won't work!” Alexis then turns to the source of the voice and gasps to see Syrus, Hotaru, Kuwabara, and Tyranno chain in the same form as her with Sota strapped by metal chuffs to a black cross.

 

Alexis asked them, “Hotaru! Syrus! Hassleberry! What happened to you?”

 

Syrus says, with a serious tone, “The same thing that probably happened to you, Alexis. Hotaru and I were ambushed by those dorks and they used stun guns to knock us out.”

 

Kuwabara says, in a dark annoyed tone, “No kidding! That little freak, Bonaparte, managed to get the drop on me and used a teaser and a baseball bat to knock me out! When I get out of here, I'm going to pummel that asshole into a pulp!”

 

Hotaru tells Alexis, with a sigh, “We can't get out of here, Alexis-hime. Those sutras on the floor negate our powers, especially yours and my Sailor Scout powers, your demon powers, and Kuwabara-kun's spirit energy powers.”

 

Alexis says, with a sigh, “No wonder I feel weaker than usual. That freak must have taken this idea from Rei when she was a Society Geek.”

 

Hotaru tells Alexis, with a weak smile, “Rei-chan might not appreciate that memory, Alexis-hime.”

 

Alexis tells Hotaru, with her own weak smile, “I know, Hotaru.” Alexis then gains a serious expression and says, with a dark serious tone, “But for now, we need to worry about getting out of here. Wherever here is.”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, with a cold nasty tone, “You are going nowhere, bitch.” Everyone turns to the source of the voice to see none other than our white-clad Blair Flannigan walking towards them.

 

Syrus and Alexis gasp in shock and they yell out in unison, “Blair!”

 

Tyranno asks, perplexed, “You know this, dork?!”

 

Syrus says, with a dark serious tone and surprised expression, “Yeah! Last year, she tried to sneak into Duel Academy because she had a crush on Zane. However, after Jaden dueled her and she lost, we found out she was only in grade school.”

 

Alexis asks Blair, in a dark curious tone, “What are you doing here?! And what are doing with these dweebs?!”

 

Blair says, with a cold nasty tone, “Watch your tongue, bitch! I'm a member of the Society of Light and if you need to know, wench, I came here as a member of the GX tournament to see my Jaden-chan again! However, I found out that you stole his heart away from me when I saw you, two, kissing in front of the Slifer Red dorm!”

 

Alexis gasp in shock and asks, stunned, “You saw that?!”

 

Blair tells Alexis, in a cold nasty tone, “No duh, wench! I was totally heartbroken and left, but then Master Sartorius helped me see the light and told me the truth! You only became Jaden's boyfriend because of his reputation as the top student at Duel Academy to maintain your reputation! You don't love Jaden, like any Obelisk Blue student, you only care about your status!”

 

Alexis roars out, in a dark serious tone, “That's a lie! I love Jaden with all of my heart!”

 

Blair slaps Alexis across the face with the backside of her right hand and yells out, with a cold angered tone, “Liar! Master Sartorius showed me the truth, you fucking whore! And now, you will pay for playing with Jaden-chan's heart and betraying the Society of Light!” Blair says, with a cold sly tone, “I'll will bring Jaden-chan into the light and we will finally be together!”

 

Alexis says, with a dark nasty tone, “Get real, brat! Jaden will never love a fucking white brat like you!”

 

Blair says, with a cold angered tone, “You're wrong, bitch! You'll see when I make sure Jaden-chan is with me in the Light!”

 

Alexis replies, with a dark threatening tone and dark deadly glare in her eyes, “You try anything to do something terrible to Jay and I will make sure that your life is living hell! I don't well care if you are a kid, GOT IT?!” Blair winches in fear of Alexis' tone and glare.

 

However, she regains her cold sly smile and she says, with a cold sly smile, “Well, you don't have to worry since I won't be the one brining Jaden-chan into the light.”

 

Tyranno asks, with a dark nasty tone, “What do you mean twerp?”

 

Blair snaps her fingers and says, coldly, “See for yourselves.” Just then the roof of the room opens up and all of them begin to rise up to the opening in the roof of the room, exposing the sunlight.

 

Hotaru asks, perplexed, “What's going on here?!” The group contains to look on in puzzlement as all of them continue to rise to the opening of the roof of the room.

 

(At this moment; rejoining the rest of our heroes and heroines)

 

Joining up with the rest of our heroes and heroines, joined by Galaxia, Princess Kaykuu, the Three Lights, Kagome's friends from the Feudal Era, and all of Yusuke's and Hikari's human and demon friends, as they look around for any signs of their friends and/or family. They are inside of a large courtyard of a facility surrounded by a metal chain-link fence with a dark grey abandoned building in the rear of the courtyard in front of our heroes and heroines.

 

Kagome calls out, worriedly, “Sota! Sota, where are you?!”

 

Jaden, Atticus, Jasmine, and Mindy shouts out in unison, worriedly, “Alexis!”

 

Jaden calls out, worriedly, “Syrus! Hassleberry!”

 

Yusuke shouts out, in his usual manner, “Kuwabara! Damn it! You had better answer me, Kuwabara!”

 

Botan calls out, “Kuwabara!”

 

Michelle shouts out, worriedly, “Firefly, can you hear me?!”

 

Hikari shouts out, in a dark angered tone, “Okay, pal, we're here! Where are our friends?! Bring them here right now!” Just then a rumbling is heard, the group looks to their left, and they see the ground opening up.

 

Jasmine asks, perplexed, “What's going on here?!” Just then a platform containing the white-clad Blair with the chained up Sota, Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Kuwabara, and Hotaru appear in front of them.

 

Amara yells out, seriously, “Hotaru!”

 

Hotaru calls out, worriedly, “Amara-papa! Michelle-mama! Everyone, it's a trap!”

 

Chazz says, in his usual snobbish tone, “Don't we know it!” Chazz looks at Blair and says, with a dark nasty snarl, “Who is that new white dweeb?”

 

Jaden gasps when he sees Blair and yells out, “Blair?!”

 

Serena asks Jaden, curiously, “You know this new white twerp, bro?”

 

Zane tells Serena, with a dark serious tone, “During Jaden's first year in Duel Academy, this girl, Blair Flannigan, snuck into Duel Academy to see me because she had a crush on me, but after Jaden dueled and beat her, that crush transferred to him. Soon after, we found out that Blair was a grade school kid and she had to leave for home. I think that this kid snuck back as member of the GX tournament and then the Society of Dweebs found her.”

 

Rini says, stunned, “And that freak turned her into one of his mindless tools!”

 

Chazz says, with his usual snobbish tone, “What gave you your first clue? The white uniform? You and Serena are exactly alike.”

 

Serena and Rini yell out in unison, “No way!”

 

Blair tells Jaden, with a cold evil smile, “Well, it is so good to see you and Zane-kun again, Jaden-chan?”

 

Jaden says, with a dark serious tone, “What do you think that you are doing with those dorks, Blair?!”

 

Blair tells Jaden, with a cold sly smile, “Simple. I am a member of the Society of Light, Jaden-chan. And when Master Sartorius showed me the truth about this fucking half-demon whore, I joined to make sure that I brought into the light.”

 

Jaden tells Blair, with a dark serious tone, “That freak must have fried some brain cells, Blair! And watch what you call Alexis, too!”

 

Blair says, with a cold sly grin, “I see that this wench has clouded your mind, Jaden-chan! But don't worry, we will be together after I beat you and show you the light! Then I can take care of this hussy that would you for her own selfish purpose by being your boyfriend in order to improve her standing in this school!”

 

Jaden yells out, with a dark angered tone, “No way! Alexis would never do that to me!”

 

Blair tells Jaden, with an evil grin, “When you see the light, Jaden-chan, you will know it is true.”

 

Jaden retorts, with a dark nasty tone, “When pigs fly, Blair.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, with an evil calm tone, “Now, Jaden, is that anyway to speak to someone who cares about you?” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Sartorius surrounded by some SOL members, including Bastion, Crowler, Molly, and Kagome's three friends, Yuka, Eri, and Ayumi.

 

Serena gasps and thinks in her mind, concerned, “Molly!”

 

Eclipse's voice booms in her head, darkly, “Sorry, girlfriend, but she is one of those dorks, now! Look into her eyes and tell me what you see!” When Serena does so, she gasps to see the cold and heartless look in her eyes and Eclipse tells her, dark serious tone, “Molly is your enemy now and you have to treat her like one! That's the fact if you want to save her from that alien freak of nature!”

 

Kagome thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Oh no! Ayumi! Eri! Yuka! It's true!”

 

Just then a dark version of Kagome's voice calls out into her mind, with a dark serious tone, “No duh, Kagome! Those aren't your friends! Not anymore! They are just three more white geeks that you need to defeat! If you want to get them back, you are going to have to treat them like your enemies until they are free from that alien asshole's control!” Kagome mentally moans and slightly nods her head in agreement.

 

Molly tells Serena, with cold sly smile, “Nice to see you, again, Serena.”

 

Serena retorts, with a dark nasty tone, “I'm not sorry that I can't say the same.”

 

Ayumi tells Serena, with a cold sarcastic tone, “Come on, princess, is that anyway to talk to a friend or she is too below you because she is a commoner and you are princess from the moon?”

 

Kagome says, with a dark nasty tone, “Didn't your mother teach you manners, witch?”

 

Kagome's three friends gasp in shock and Eri tells Kagome, with a cold serious tone, “What in the hell got into you, Kagome?! We're your friends!”

 

Kagome tells Eri, with a dark nasty tone, “Don't give me that dork! My friends would never join a brainwashing freak like him! So, get that into your thick skull!”

 

Serena tells Molly, darkly, “And that's the same for the real Molly! You aren't the real Molly! The real Molly Baker doesn't join white cults and doesn't get involved with plans to take over the world hidden behind the pretext of `justice' and `saving the world'. So, if you are trying to convince me that you are the real Molly Baker, I've got two words for you: SHUT IT!”

 

Molly sneers and says, in a cold nasty tone, “If that's the way that you feel, Serena, then fine! Consider our friendship over! I was nice enough to understand why you didn't have much time for me when I learned that you are Sailor Moon!”

 

Rei asks, darkly, “Let me guess: That freak told you, right?!”

 

Molly replies, with a cold serious tone, “No! Master Sartorius didn't need to tell me since I already knew for two years now!”

 

Serena, her friends, and Darien gasp in shock and Mina asks, in a dark surprised tone, “You knew that Serena was Sailor Moon all along?”

 

Molly retorts, with a cold tone, “No duh, nonbeliever! Ever since those weird `Black Moon' people were gone, I figured the truth about Serena is Sailor Moon and thus, realized that the rest of you were the Sailor Scouts with Darien being Tuxedo Mask. Unlike the rest of the world, I'm not an idiot! I didn't say anything because I knew that Serena was busy protecting the world and everyone in it! Even through we weren't spending much time together, we were still friends and I knew that Serena had important stuff to do as Sailor Moon! However, I guess Master Sartorius was right when he told about Serena being a reincarnated alien princess and all that! She is just a stuck wench who is only friends who are like her: Royalty! Well, she will change her tune when I bring her into the light!”

 

Serena says, with a dark snort, “Like that will happen anytime soon, dweeb.”

 

Ayumi tells Kagome, with a cold serious tone, “And since you feel that way about, Kagome! Consider our friendship with long since over!” Yuka and Eri nod their heads in agreement.

 

Yuka says, with a cold nasty tone, “Yeah, bitch! I guess you couldn't trust us with your secret for most of the time that you were traveling between two different time periods! Master Sartorius told us everything that he knew!”

 

Eri tells Kagome, with a cold nasty tone, “He showed us the truth as well as allowed us to see the light! And I think that it is time that we repay your betrayal of our trust by bringing you into the light!”

 

Kagome replies, with a dark serious tone, “Don't see that happen, wench!”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil sly grin and evil sly tone, “Now, with all of the pleasantries are out of the way, it is time to get down to business. Your friends are my prisoners and thanks to ability of the sutras that I place with them, all of their special powers are negated, including Alexis Rhodes' demon and Sailor Scout powers with Hotaru Tomoe's own Sailor Scout powers with Kuwabara's spirit energy powers as well. Something that I learned thanks to Ms. Hino here.”

 

Rei yells out, angrily, “You damn well say anything more about the time that I was trapped in your hellish light, I'll kick where the sun don't shine asshole!”

 

Mina tells Rei, with a dark serious tone, “Easy, Rei, don't let this freak get to you.”

 

Yusuke asks, with a dark nasty tone, “What do you want asshole?”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil sly grin, “Simple. I want Jaden Yuki to duel the duelist that I've arranged for him in a very special duel.”

 

Jaden asks, with a dark serious tone, “Let me guess: Another of your Society Dorks?”

 

Sartorius shakes his head and replies, “No. Actually, it is an old face from your past. A past that not even your childhood pals the Urameshi twins, Keiko, and Kuwabara know about.”

 

Keiko asks, darkly, “What are you talking about freak?”

 

Hikari asks Jaden, curiously, “What does he mean, Jaden?”

 

Just then a dark male voice yells out, with an evil nasty tone, “This big guy means me, toots.”

 

Jaden gasps in shock and he says, lowly, “No, it can't be . . .” Just then footsteps are heard and Sartorius and all of the SOL members get out of the way to allow Kraus through and he goes in-between our heroes and heroines and Sartorius and his SOL members.

 

Kraus says, with an evil sly smile, “It has been a long time, Jaden-dono. Remember me?”

 

Jaden's expression becomes one of extreme anger and he shoots out, with a dark angered scowl, “How can ever forget your fucking face, murderer?”

 

Serena asks Jaden, “Jaden, you know that guy?”

 

Jaden says, with a really angered snarl, “Wish I could forget that face and what that son of bitch did.” The others are very surprised by Jaden's more angered tone and really deadly scowl in his expression.

 

Kraus says, with an evil sly grin, “Well, this big guy was right about you, Jaden-dono. You really have gone, Goth, and I've got to say that expression is much better for you. Full of anger, rage, and looking like you are ready to kill. A much better expression for a duelist, I'll say.”

 

Jaden replies, with a dark nasty scowl, “Coming from a killer like you, I'm not surprised you say that bastard.”

 

Miroku says, with a curious tone, “Something tells me that they don't like each other.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a snort, “What was your first clue, monk?”

 

Yusuke asks Jaden, in a dark serious and perplexed, “Hey, Jay, what in the hell is going on here?! Who is that asshole with that freak?! And why does he call you `Jaden-dono'?”

 

Ami says, with her logical tone, “Dono is supposed to be a Japanese suffix used when greatly respecting a person. It means `lord' or `master', but it isn't used as much today as it was back years ago. That term was taken over by the suffix `sama'. Today, `dono' is a person that's highly respect, but not as much when using the suffix `sama', but more respect than using the suffix of `san'.”

 

Lita tells Ami, perplexed, “Thanks Ami . . . I think.”

 

Kraus tells Jaden, with an evil sadistic smile on his lips, “So, I was right. You never really told them. Not even your best childhood friends . . .” Kraus then points to Alexis, Syrus, and Hassleberry and says, with an evil smile on his lips, “Not even your new best friends or the woman that you love!” Kraus looks at Alexis with an evil smile and says, with a whistle, “I've got to say, Jaden-dono. You were a complete ditz when it come to love and romance, but man, you always got the girls. And I've got to say that this one is a real looker.”

 

Jaden yells out, angrily, “Don't you dare touch her or I will . . .?!”

 

Kraus roars out, with an evil sadistic smile, “Or you will what, Jaden-dono?! If you hadn't noticed, this freak and I have your friends and if you try anything, you can kiss her goodbye!”

 

Jaden shouts out, with an extremely angered tone, “What in the hell are you doing here?!”

 

Kraus yells out, with a dark sadistic smile, “Have you forgotten, Jaden-dono?! I'm here to finish the job that I started years ago! I gave you time to prepare for this match and I'm here to fulfill that promise! It is time for our rematch and time for you to finally fall, bringing an end to the Yuki family bloodline, once and for all!”

 

Yusuke calls out, with dark serious tone, “Hey, asshole, if you want to get to Jaden, you have to get through us!”

 

Jaden then steps three steps away from the others and says, with a dark serious tone, “No! I can't let you get involved with this! This is one duel I've got to handle alone!”

 

Everyone else gasps in shock and Serena exclaims, serious tone, “No way, Jaden! You don't know what he will do with this freak!”

 

Jaden says, with a dark serious tone, “Oh, I know exactly what he will do and from what I can see, he isn't part of that freak's Society of Dorks!”

 

Crowler yells out, with a cold serious tone, “Watch your mouth, Slacker! You will respect Master Sartorius and the Society of Light!” Just then a blast of dark energy slams into his chest and sent him flying into the wall of the facility, knocking him senseless. When we look to the source, we find that it was Amara, with her duel disk that has her dueling deck inside and her duel disk attached to her left wrist as well as glowing with dark violet and black energy, responsible for that attack.

 

Michelle says, with a dark sly smile, “Nice shot.”

 

Amara says, with a dark plain tone, “Well, someone had to shut him up.”

 

Lita says, with a dark sly sneer, “Yeah, that overgrown geek was giving me a headache.” On the meanwhile, Molly and Bastion go over to tend to Crowler.

 

Hikari asks, with a dark serious tone, “Well, before we were interrupted by that overgrown geek, can either of you tell us what in the hell is going on here?”

 

Kraus says, with an evil sadistic smile and evil sly tone, “Allow me.” Kraus then says, explaining the story, “As all of you probably already know, Jaden-dono's father was a great duelist that used the Elemental Hero cards that you must have seen him use when he arrived on Duel Academy. As well as the fact that Jaden-dono's father mysteriously vanished when he was a young boy.”

 

Chazz says, in a dark annoyed tone, “Yeah! Yeah! We already heard this part of the story! Get on with it already!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Well, if you insist: Anyway, after his father vanished and he was nowhere to be found, but there was no indication of his death, the case of his disappearance is still open to this day. However, Jaden-dono's family, without their father to support them, needed money to maintain their `pretty good' life-style and his mom had to increase her work load in order to allow her and her son to maintain a good life-style, but she had very little time for Jaden-dono, through she tried to, and the job caused her plenty of injuries. Jaden-dono, being the kind and caring person that he is, wanted to find a way to help his mom with her knowing since she wouldn't allow it. Soon enough, a shady character notices Jaden-dono's dueling ability, hears about his mom, and offers him a way to help his mom get some money as well as improving his dueling stats in the dueling world. Jaden-dono, being a naïve kid, thinking that one day he could get into the pros and become an awesome as well as challenge Yugi Moto one day, decided to take the job because it involved his greatest passion and love at the time: Duel Monsters and dueling. However, what he didn't know . . . is that he was selling himself into slavery itself!”

 

All of Jaden's friends and allies, expect for Hiei, Zane, and Yeshua, gasp in shock and Chazz asks Jaden, “Is that true slacker?”

 

Jaden sighs and says, the memories coming back into his mind, “Yeah, it is true, Chazz. I never told even Yusuke, Kari, Kuwabara, and Keiko about my family's problems since my dad vanished to who knows where. My mom was working hard and tried to hide it, even from me, because she didn't want me to worry and possibly get into trouble. But I noticed the scars and wounds and I knew that my mom was working hard for me to stay in school, have food, and have a good life-style. With my father's deck, I dueled a lot and was very good, it seemed natural for me. Soon enough, this shady guy, who I didn't trust at first, offered me a job and told me that he had heard about my mom's troubles. He said that with my dueling talent, I could earn the money that my mom needs and he will make sure that my mom never knew it was me because she wouldn't approve. Plus, he said I could propel myself into the Pro Leagues and one day, I could possible duel Yugi Moto and become the next King of Games, which was my dream. I was just a little kid at the time and didn't know any better, so, I thought I found a way to help my mom and make my dream come true. Before I knew what I was doing, I agreed and signed a secret contact. But what I was doing was selling my skills and myself into slavery within . . . the Underground Dueling Circuit.” This admission causes all of Jaden's friends and allies, minus Zane, Hiei, and Yeshua, to gasp in shock.

 

Zane gives a rare look of surprise and he says, darkly, “You were part of the Underground Dueling Circuit? As a little brat?”

 

Jaden tells Zane, with an annoyed tone, “Well, I wouldn't put it THAT way, Zane. Anyway, I soon found out what I was really into, but I couldn't tell anyone because they knew everyone of my friends and family and they threatened my mother's life as well as my childhood friends and their families. Tough as Yusuke, Hikari, and Kuwabara as little kids, they were no match for these goons, so, I agreed to keep quiet about my `secret activities'. While my mother didn't notice anything for over several years, I was trapped in the world of Underground Dueling and I was mistreated, beaten, torture, and plenty of other horrors. However, by some miracle, I didn't lose myself while learning to survive in that hell and I managed to pass on my `strength' to some friends that I made there. Two of them were considered my brother and sister in that world. They were a brother and his younger sister. Their names are Koken Mylian and his younger sister, Alyssa. Alyssa was around my age and Koken was two years older then the two of us. They are orphans when their mother and father were murdered by Japanese gangsters and their parents gave their lives to save their children. I felt sorry for the two of them and fully befriended them. By the time that I met them, along with Kraus, they were already trapped in the `child slavery' portion of Underground Dueling for a whole year. Together, all of us survived the hell that was the Underground and I gave them strength while learning to survive there. But one day, we managed to escape . . . Remember the report about the fire at `abandoned warehouse' at Tokyo docks known as the `Dueling Rebellion'?”

 

Mindy exclaims, seriously, “I do! It was five to six years ago! There was a fire at a supposed abandoned warehouse and when the police and firefighters got there, they discovered an underground and illegal dueling ring where young child, pre-teens, and teenagers were forced to duel each other in harsh and possibly life-threatening duels while secret spectators made bets on like if the duels survives, which turn he will win or lose, and other `stuff'! It was beyond sick and the conditions that they put the duelists, mainly just kids, in were harsh. They found that these people targeted kids that either orphaned or their families were going through hard times. Offers of money to help their family and gets the kids `inspiration' for bright futures in the Pro Leagues. Somehow the kids `rebelled' against their `masters' and many of them escaped from the warehouse into the night when the fire erupted, which was caused by electrical problems with their dueling system that the kids used to scare and confuse the people inside with Duel Monsters' hologram, making them so realistic that they thought the Shadow Games were back.”

 

Jaden says, with a slight smile, “Koken, Alyssa, and I started the `rebellion' with a few friends that had smarts about electronic technology hacked into the holographic dueling system to allow our duel disk to create such realistic holograms that we could cause chaos within the rings and help all of us escape as well as call the authorities, but in the process, the fires were caused. However, all of the kids that we helped survive the fire with most of escaping into the night with Koken, Alyssa, Kraus, and a few other friends back to my home, where my mother finally found out what happened. In order to escape, my mother took my friends and me to the community where my dad originally lived. When my dad married my mom, they moved into the large city where I met Yusuke, Hikari, Keiko, and Kuwabara and my friends were put into an orphanage and the police, finding that I was lured into the underground, also helped out by making sure that my mom, my friends, and I would never be found again by these ruthless people.” Jaden then says, with dark snarl while looking at Kraus, “But then one day, Kraus, who we greatly trusted, betrayed us, stole a forbidden deck put under the care of my family, and ruthlessly attacked him when I tried to stop him!”

 

Every one of our heroes and heroines, minus Hiei, Zane, and Yeshua, gasp in shock and Kraus says, with a sly evil grin, “I'll admit it! When Jaden-dono got in my way of gaining great power to become an incredible duelist, I nearly killed him that day! I've had great dreams and ambitions and when I learned of Jaden-dono's family bloodline and the forbidden deck, I was amazed at what secrets he kept from me. You see, Jaden-dono is the heir to the Yuki family legacy . . . a legacy that extends back to ancient Egypt itself!”

 

Jasmine yells out, shocked, “What?! No way!”

 

When everyone looks at Jaden, he sighs and says, “Yes, it's true. My family bloodline extends back into many areas of the world and on the day that this asshole betrayed us, I learned about that legacy. It is too complex to explain and it seems to extend back to ancient Egypt even. Even today, I'm not sure what it really means. However, what I did know that one part of the legacy is guarding of a forbidden deck filled with such dark and deadly powers that it would have caused great chaos and destruction! My father created that portion of the legacy when he was the one that sealed away those cards when they were used against him and he barely survived that duel with his life!” Jaden then says, glaring deadly daggers, “But this traitor stole that deck and when I tried to stop him, he nearly killed me! Alyssa-oneesan tried to stop him, but she . . . she . . .”

 

Alexis then realizes what Jaden is implying and she calls out, “She was murdered, wasn't she?! This asshole murdered her?!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Beautiful and smart as well as talented in dueling! That's right! And I didn't right before his very eyes! After Alyssa-kun was gone, I prepared to finish Jaden-dono off, but Koken-sama managed to stop me and save Jaden-dono. He has sworn revenge against me and made sure that Jaden-dono didn't follow the path of revenge since his sister was like a twin sister to Jaden-dono.”

 

Jaden says, with a dark nasty tone, “And Koken-dono did me a major favor by making sure that I didn't turn into a fucking psychopathic monster like you, Kraus-kun! It took me awhile to realize it, but I knew that if I tried to get revenge for Alyssa-oneesan out of hatred and rage, I would become just like you and I never will ever become like you. Before she died and before Koken-dono left my life, they told me to remain as I was and follow my father's beliefs.”

 

Kraus says, with a sneer, “Typical Jaden-dono. You haven't changed in years and you are still the pure-hearted weakling that I left you when I took the forbidden deck of the Yuki family. But I have something to change all that. It's time you and I relived the past.”

 

Jaden says, with a dark sneer, “What do you mean Kraus-kun!”

 

Kraus snaps his fingers and replies, evilly, “This, Jaden-dono.” Just then the ground shakes, the ground between our heroes and heroines and Kraus, Sartorius, and the SOL members open up causing a platform surrounded by a black steel cage with spiked all of the cage with electrical wiring all over the platform. Kraus says, with an evil smirk, “Look familiar, Jaden-dono? Just like the old days in the Underground.”

 

Jaden says, drolly, “Wish that I could forget.”

 

Zane says, with a dark serious tone, “That looks similar to the cages used in the Underground Dueling Circuit, but I didn't see any electric wiring when I entered the ring.”

 

Kraus says, with a dark plain tone, “That's because you came into the Underground after Jaden-dono's `rebellion'. After that day, the system changed and those collars were developed! Back in the old days, they used electrical wires to causes the shocks for the duelists and I have to tell you, they were far more powerful and it took people like me and Jaden-dono to survive them.”

 

Jaden says, with a dark sneer, “Don't compare me to you, murderer!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil sadistic grin on his lips, “We'll see about that, Jaden-dono! Now, you and I are going to have a duel like the old days! And if you don't agree, your girlfriend will die along with you two newest best friends! With their powers that I heard about gone, they can't defend themselves or survive something like that!” Kraus points up to the platform containing their trapped friends and Blair, with a evil smile, takes out what seemly is like a stick, but she then unsheathes a sword and puts it to Alexis' neck!

 

Jaden, Atticus, Jasmine, and Mindy call out in horror, “Alexis!”

 

Kraus then says, with a sly evil grin, “And don't any of you try anything because there are explosion attached to the floor of the platform! One wrong move and KABOOM!!!”

 

Atticus yells out, in a dark angered tone, “This is sick!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil sly grin, “Thank you. I thought of it myself.” Kraus then tells Jaden, with a sly evil grin, “You've got two choices, Jaden-dono: You or your friends' and girlfriend's life!”

 

Rei calls out, in a dark angered tone, “You sick demon! You are not even human!”

 

Kraus says, with a dark evil giggle, “Far from human, my dear. So, what is it going to be?”

 

Jaden then summons a duel disk to his left wrist, puts his dueling deck into his duel disk, and he says, with a dark snarl, “I won't abandoned my friends or the girl that I love, `pal'! Get your game on!”

 

All of our heroes and heroines, minus Hiei, Zane, and Yeshua, gasp in shock and Atticus tells Jaden, seriously, “Jaden, you can't agree to this!”

 

Yusuke tells Jaden, with a serious tone, “No kidding, Jay! This isn't one of our Shadow Games! You could get hurt out there or worse!”

 

Jaden tells Yusuke and the rest of his friends, “I know that, Yusuke! But Alexis, Syrus, Hassleberry, and our friends are counting on me! I can't let them down! And plus, I've got to settle this `matter' from my past, once and for all! If I don't face it, then it will continue to me and all of you for the rest of our days and I won't allow it!” Jaden then walks ahead to the large cage, two doors, one on front and one on the back, open up, Jaden and Kraus enter the ring, and the doors close and lock behind them.

 

Lita says, seriously, “We can't let Jaden go through with this!”

 

Trista says, with a serious tone, “Unfortunately, the Society of Light and their leader has forced our hand and we are unable to help them without putting their lives in danger. Without their powers, they can't escape and we can't help them escape or they will kill them.”

 

Yeshua says, in his logical tone, “You need to believe in Princess Serenity's brother and what he is doing. It is the only way they can survive.” Yeshua then turns around and starts to walk away.

 

Mindy asks Yeshua, curiously, “Where are you going?”

 

Yeshua replies, in a plain and logical tone, “To find other options.” Yeshua then turns and heads away from the facility, making everyone else, hero and heroines as well Sartorius and the SOL to wonder what he was up to.

 

Jasmine asks, curiously, “What does he mean by that?”

 

Sartorius tells Bastion and Crowler, in a serious tone, “Keep an eye on him.”

 

Bastion and Crowler nod their heads in unison and reply in emotionless tones, “Yes, sir.” Crowler and Bastion then run off towards the side to follow Yeshua while Kraus inserts his dueling deck into his duel disk attached to his left wrist causing it to give off a black dark aura.

 

Amara and Rei sense the dark power from the deck and Rei says, seriously, “There is a great dark power coming from that deck.”

 

Darien and Serena look at Rei and Serena asks Rei, worriedly, “Are you sure?”

 

Amara nods her head and says, “Rei is right, princess. That deck has a great dark and dangerous power from it. I hope that your brother knows what he is doing.”

 

Meanwhile, Alexis thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Jaden . . . I really hope you know what you are doing . . . I can't . . . I can't lose you . . . You are the first boy that I loved in this life and the last . . . the first boy in this life that has the same love of dueling as I do . . . please . . . don't die . . .!!”

 

Joey asks Yugi and Atem, “Yug', I hope that you and Atem have some good ideas.”

 

Yugi tells Joey, seriously, “I wish that I did, but there is nothing we can do without putting Alexis' and their lives in danger. For now, we need to believe in Jaden. He is the heir to the throne Egypt.”

 

Tea says, worriedly, “Well, we better hope that he isn't dethroned before his reign can begin.”

 

Atem tells his friends, with a serious expression, “Let's not lose hope, everyone. Jaden is my heir for a reason and plus, knowing Yeshua, he might have a plan. Normally, he wouldn't get involved expect as an advisor, but he will ensure his successors, all of his successors', the six Chosen Duelists', survival by getting involved when necessary. Something tells me he has got a plan.”

 

Joey tells Atem, seriously, “Well, I hope he can get it underway before something terrible happens to your heir here.”

 

Atem nods his head and says, “As do I, Joey.”

 

Kraus asks Jaden, with an evil smile, “Ready, Jaden-dono?”

 

Jaden says, with a droll tone, “As ready as I will ever be.” Kraus and Jaden activate their duel disks, their life-points counters displays 4000 life-points each, and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Game on!!” the two duelists say in unison as the duel gets under way.

 

(At this very same time; At Academy Island's beach)

 

At the moment that the duel between Kraus and Jaden is about to start, we find a large rubble life-boat powered by outboard motor land on the shore by the wooden boat that Kraus came in on. On the rubble life-boat are three black cloaked figures with duel disks attached to their left wrists. When the cloaked figures see the life-boat, one of them removes their hood, revealing a young man of eighteen to nineteen years with black hair, similar cheery red eyes to the girl in Jaden's dream, and hardened look in his expression.

 

One of the other cloaked figures says, with a male voice and worried expression, “Damn it! We're too late! He's here!”

 

The other cloaked figure tells the young man, with a female voice and a serious tone, “I'm sorry, Koken-sama. We should have seen this when Kraus decided to come back to Japan.”

 

The young man, Koken, tells the cloaked figures, in a serious tone, “It isn't your fault! That fucking son of a bitch promised he would come after the person that I considered a brother in the years that we spend in that hellhole. He swore to kill him after he tried to take back that forbidden deck that he stole.” Koken tells the cloaked figures, seriously, “Come on! We need to find him before he gets to Jaden-dono! And he already has a head start on us!”

 

The two cloaked figures nod their heads in unison and exclaim in unison, “Right!” Soon enough, Koken and the two cloaked figures immediately race off to find Kraus, not knowing that he has already found his target. Koken thinks in his mind, worriedly, “Jaden-dono, please be well! You are the only thing of a family that I have left here and I couldn't go on in this world if you left it! I pray that you are safe!”

 

(A brief time soon after; Back to the duel between Jaden and Kraus)

 

As everyone else looked on with mixed reactions depending on who you are and which `side' you are on, the duel between Jaden and the childhood friend that betrayed him and murdered a good friend of his when they were kids, Kraus, begins.

Jaden tells Kraus, with a dark serious tone, “If you don't mind, I would like to start off, `pal'!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil grin, “You will need it with the deck that I have!”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, perplexed, “Well, I'm not sure that he knows since he has allied himself with that freak, but my deck has changed since we last dueled each other! I'm sure that Sartorius . . . No, the Light of Destruction told him about Neos and my Neo-Spacians, but then again, he might have thought it fun to see what that forbidden deck can do without that knowledge. Or most likely, Kraus, out of his sick pride, refused because he is confident that he can beat no matter what cards I've got! Well, knowing what HE has in his deck is what worried me! That deck is dangerous and there are many reasons that it was sealed away! I've got to start out big to defend myself! But can I use Neos and the Neo-Spacians the right way to defeat a deck that nearly killed my dad?! Well, here goes something!” Jaden draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Okay, I start off with Polymerization!” Jaden discards his Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) and Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) to the graveyard, the two monsters appear on the field, and while they go into a fusion vortex, Jaden puts a fusion monster card from his fusion deck on his duel disk, and calls out, “So, I fuse my Elemental Hero Bladedge with my Elemental Hero Sparkman to form my newest hero! Elemental Hero Plasma Viceman!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Plasma Viceman (2800/2300) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Kraus says, with a taunting tone, “You call that a monster?! My deck and I eat wimps like that for lunch!”

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “We'll see about that asshole!” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Mirage of Nightmare! During your Standby Phase, I get to draw until I have four cards in my hand, but during my next Standby, I have discard the same number of cards that I draw with this effect!” Jaden then puts the final two cards in his hand in the spell/trap slots and says, “Then I throw down two face-downs card and call it a turn!”

 

Kraus draws one card from his deck and says, “My move!”

 

Jaden then draws four cards from his deck and says, “And it is my draw, thanks to my Mirage of Nightmare, remember?” Jaden then pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Next, I reveal my face-down card! It is the spell card Emergency Provisions!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Emergency Provisions Quick-Spell card and Jaden calls out, with a serious tone, “With this card, I can destroy one spell or trap card on my side of the field and gain one thousand life-points! So, I get rid of my Mirage of Nightmare!” The hologram of Jaden's Mirage of Nightmare Continuous spell card vanishes from the field and he gains 1000 more life-points.

 

Kraus says, with a sly grin, “I see that you haven't lost your touch, Jaden-dono, but that doesn't mean you are skilled enough to beat this deck.” Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Especially since I drew this card.” Kraus then displays a spell card with a picture of Elemental Hero Avian and Burstinatrix within a sickening golden light and evil shadow-like monster behind them and Kraus says, with an evil sly smile as he puts the card in the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play the spell card known as Dark Fusion!”

 

Jaden says, gasps in shock, “Oh no!”

 

Serena asks, perplexed, “Dark Fusion? I never heard of that card!”

 

Ami tells Serena, perplexed, “Neither have I, Serena. What does that card do?”

 

Chazz says, with a serious expression, “Well, we are about to find out what it does and Jaden is right in the middle of it. And something tells me that Slacker knows exactly what that card does.”

 

Kraus says, with an evil sadistic smile, “This card allows me to summon a Fiend-type fusion monster from my deck by sending the monsters listed on the card as the Fusion Material monsters in my hand or on the field to the graveyard! This special summon is considered a fusion summoning!” Kraus then discards two cards from his hand, a black and gold version of Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) and Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000), this one with a darker skin tone, appear on the field, and Kraus declares, in a serious tone, “Now, I'll Dark Fuse Elemental Heroes Sparkman and Clayman to form one of my most vicious monsters!” The two monsters immediately go into a fusion vortex that turns pitch black with darkness while Kraus takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck and puts it into his duel disk.

 

Mindy states, stunned, “That forbidden deck is a `Heroes deck'?!”

 

Tyranno asks, perplexed, “What in the Sam Hill is he doing?!”

 

Syrus asks, confused, “I know that regular fusion turns Sparkman and Clayman into Thunder Giant, but what does `Dark Fusion' do?”

 

Alexis tells Syrus, with a worried expression on her face, “Something tells me that we won't like the result, Syi.”

 

Kraus then calls out, evilly, “Now, meet my Evil Hero Lightning Golem!” Just then beams of dark violet light come from the fusion vortex and coming out of the fusion vortex, a monster similar to Elemental Hero Thunder Giant, expect mainly dark green and dark blue in color with blood red spheres on the backhand part of both hands, a blood red jewel on his chest area, dark blue helmet and visor, and vicious and evil grin on his lips, and this monster known as Evil Hero Lightning Golem (2400/1500) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Keiko asks, perplexed, “Wait a minute! What's an `Evil Hero'?”

 

Kraus tells Keiko, with an evil grin, “Well, I'm not surprised that you don't know anything about this card. This is a forbidden deck after all! This deck is known as the Evil Heroes deck, a deck that's filled with monsters opposite of Jaden-dono's Elemental Heroes! You can also call the Evil Heroes the `dark side' of the Elemental Heroes!”

 

Syrus states, stunned, “The `dark side' of the Elemental Heroes?”

 

Kraus replies, with an evil smile, “Bingo! And plus, my Evil Heroes are far stronger than Jaden-dono's pathetic Elemental Heroes! For example, once per turn, Lightning Golem can take out one monster on Jaden-dono's side of the field even if it is stronger than my Golem!”

 

Jasmine calls out, stunned, “No way!”

 

Kraus calls out, evilly, “Golem, show them your stuff! Get rid of Jaden-dono's pathetic hero!” The monster fires blood red lightning at Plasma Viceman and the monster yells out in pain as it is destroyed!

 

Jaden yells out, stunned, “My monster!”

 

Kraus then says, with a evil smile, “By the way, if you had forgotten after all of this time, Jaden-dono, a monster created by Dark Fusion can't be destroyed by spell or trap card on the turn it is formed!”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “That means that Jaden's face-down card is useless!”

 

Kraus yells out, evilly, “Exactly, my sexy little `Goth'! Now, Lightning Golem, teach Jaden-dono a lesson that he won't forget! Infernal Lightning!” Lightning Golem fires a blood red electric energy right at Jaden directly.

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone while pushing a button on his duel disk, “Wrong! I play my Negate Attack trap!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be Negate Attack trap card, Lightning Golem's attack is stopped by a force-field, and Jaden says, with a smile, “Nice try! Even through your Dark Fusion prevents your monster from being destroyed from spell and trap card effects, however, its attack can be blocked! And Negate Attack does that as well as makes you unable to attack for the rest of this turn!”

 

Kraus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with an evil smile, “Not bad. After all these years, you have actually gotten better. Not surprising through. It is one of your many talents.”

Jaden says, drawing one card from his deck and in a sarcastic tone, “Thanks, I didn't know you gave complements, bro.” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I play the Warrior Returning Alive! This card allows me to bring one Warrior-type monster back from the graveyard! And I choose my Sparkman!” Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) monster card comes out of the graveyard slot and goes back into Jaden's hand. Jaden puts the card on his duel disk and calls out, “Next, I summon him to the field!” Soon after, Sparkman comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “It doesn't have the power to take out my Evil Hero.”

 

Jaden's Field Spell slot opens up, Jaden puts a card inside, and says, with a sly smile, “Well, this card will even out the score. Well, actually `equal' is far from the case. It's a card that you might remember. If you don't, here's a hint! So, hello to Skyscraper!” When the slot closes, huge amount of buildings surround Jaden and Kraus and Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Thanks to this card, whenever my Elemental Hero battles a monster that's stronger, he gains one thousand more attack points!” Sparkman's stats rise from 1600/1400 to 2600/1400 due to Skyscraper's effect. Jaden then calls out, seriously, “Okay, Sparkman, take out his fake! Static Shockwave!” Sparkman leaps into the air, fires a blue beam of electric energy, and it slams into the Evil Hero causing it to roar out as it is destroying, causing Kraus to lose 200 life-points. Just then the wiring activates and Kraus yells out in pain as he is shocked by thousands of volts of blue electrical energy. When the shock is done, his body is slightly smoking and his head is down low.

 

Lita says, winching in surprising, “Ouch. That had to hurt.”

 

Rei says, with a snarl, “For that asshole, I hope so.”

 

Jaden asks Kraus, with a concerned tone, “Hey, Kraus-kun, are you okay?” Just then Kraus gives out evil chuckles from his mouth and he licks his lips.

 

Kraus says, with a deep evil tone, “This duel . . . it is perfect . . . I had so forgotten . . .” When Kraus looks up at Jaden, he has evil sadistic look in his eyes with a wide sadistic evil grin on his lips. Kraus says, with an evil sly tone, “Ah. Just like the good old days. I had forgotten. Those shackles had tuned down on the shock and I forgotten the pleasure of the shock of the good old days.”

 

Keiko asks, stunned, “He's actually enjoyed getting shocked like that?!”

 

Yusuke says, with a dark serious snarl, “I thought that he was sick before, but now, he is just plain nuts!”

 

Hikari nods her head and says, “No kidding, bro!”

 

Kraus pushes a button on his duel disk and says, evilly, “Now, I play my face-down! A card that you should know well! Hero Signal!” Kraus' face-down card is revealed to be Hero Signal and Kraus says, with a evil smile and taking his deck out of his duel disk, “As you know, with this card, when you destroy one of my monsters, this card allows me to summon a monster that's level four or less as long as it has Elemental Hero in its name!” Kraus takes one card from his deck, puts his deck on his duel disk, and he says, with an evil smile, “I summon my Elemental Hero Bubbleman!” Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200), who has a darker blue armor and skin tone, comes to the field in defense mode and Kraus says, drawing two cards from his deck, “Thanks to his ability, when he is alone, I get two more cards from my deck! I hope that you are ready for what I'm about to bring, Jaden-dono, because I'm starting to get into this duel!”

 

Jaden thinks, with a slight nervous expression, “Oh, great! He is enjoying himself! Whenever he gets like this, he is more dangerous than ever! I had better keep my guard up big time! I really need to get my A-game on or my friends and I are dead! Knowing this sicko, after he is done with him, Alexis and the others are as good as dead! He won't listen to anyone, especially that evil freak! In fact, Kraus might turn and kill him next along with Sartorius! I've got to end this madness right here and now!” Jaden puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll throw down two face-downs and end my turn!”

Since there is one Elemental Hero on my side of the field, I get to destroy one spell or trap card on your side of the field! And I think that it is time for a change of scenery!”

 

Jaden says, worriedly, “Oh boy!” Just then Jaden's Skyscraper Field Spell is sent to the graveyard as all of the buildings collapses around him.

 

Kraus puts one card on his duel disk and yells out, “Next, I sacrifice Bubbleman to summon Evil Hero Malicious Edge!” Elemental Hero Bubbleman vanishes and a humanoid monster with dark violet and blue armor, spikes, silver blade-like wings coming out of its back, and claws similar to Wolverine from X-Men's claw coming out of his knuckles areas of both hands appears on the field and this new monster, Evil Hero Malicious Edge (2600/1800), is in attack mode.

 

Syrus yells out, stunned, “Hold up! That monster is a seven star monster! He requires two sacrifices!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil grin, “Expect that he has a special ability! When there is a monster on Jaden-dono's side of the field, I can summon with by sacrificing one monster instead of two!”

 

Tyranno yells out, with a shocked expression and stunned tone, “Sam hill! This is major trouble!”

 

Kraus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, evilly, “You don't know the half of it! Now, I play my Quick-Summon spell card! This card allows me to Normal Summon again this turn!” Kraus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I summon my Evil Hero Hell Gainer in attack mode!” Just then beside Malicious Edge, a monster that looks like a demon with black and blood red armor, big white spikes coming from its shoulders, black horned helmet on his head that covers his eyes and nose, his mouth gives a evil and vicious smile, and his fingers are thick half-foot long claws, Evil Hero Hell Gainer (1600/0), comes to the field in attack mode. Kraus then says, evilly, “Plus, I remove him from play during my Main Phase, any Fiend type monster can attack twice during the same Battle Phase and since my Malicious Edge qualifies, I think I will!”

 

Kuwabara says, with a worried tone, “Jaden is in real trouble now!”

 

Yusuke tells Kuwabara, annoyed, “What was your first clue, Sherlock?!” The monster vanishes from the field as it is removed from play. Kraus puts it in his card pouch and out of play.

 

Kraus then calls out, “Now, Malicious Edge, remove that overgrown sparkplug! Bloodlust Knives!” Malicious Edge gives an evil smile and launches dozens of black energy knives at Sparkman, it cuts into him, and the Elemental Hero groans out as it is destroyed costing Jaden 1000 life-points. Just then the wiring activates and Jaden screams out in pain as he is shocked by the blue electrical energy.

 

Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Jasmine, Chazz, Yusuke, Hikari, Kuwabara, Keiko, and Serena yell out in unison and in horror, “Jaden!” When the electrical shock stops, Jaden's form is smoking and he falls down on one knee breathing heavily with multiple small burns on his body.

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and says, weakly, “I play my trap . . . Hero Signal!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Hero Signal trap card, Jaden takes out his deck, takes a card from his deck, puts it on his duel disk, put his deck back in his duel disk, and Jaden says, weakly, “Since you destroyed my Sparkman, I can use this card to summon my Clayman to protect me!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) comes to the field in defense mode.

 

Kraus then says, with an evil smile, “And you must have forgotten Malicious Edge's effect! When he battles a monster in defense and his attack points are greater, the difference is sent to you as damage! And thanks to my Hell Gainer, he gets a second attack!”

 

Jaden says, drolly, “Oh, great.”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “This is seriously going to hurt!”

 

Kraus then calls out, “Malicious Edge, take out that pile of pebbles!” Malicious Edge launches more black energy daggers, this time at Clayman, and Jaden loses 600 life-points, thanks to Malicious Edge's effect, and Jaden screams out in pain as more blue electric energy surges through his body!

 

Alexis yells out, horrified, “Jaden!” When the shocking stops, Jaden, who didn't fully recover from the first assault, falls to his knees and is breathing heavily with the burns on his clothes and body get worse with his form slightly smoking. On the meanwhile, Blair seems to give a cold and emotionless look, but concern is in her eyes.

 

Kraus tells Jaden, with an evil smile, “Had enough, Jaden-dono? Do you really think that you were the only one improving your skills for these many years? I told you that I would finish what I started those years ago and soon, you will lose everything!”

 

Just then a male voice rings out, with a malicious in his voice, “I don't think so, asshole!” Everyone looks to the source to see Koken and the two other cloaked figures leap down from the chain-link fence with two cloaked figures removing their hoods. The first other cloaked figure had black hair and hazel brown eyes and looks to be Jaden's age while the other cloaked figure is a girl of 18 years of age with fiery red hair that goes down mid-waist length and strong blue eyes.

 

Eri yells out, angrily, “Who are you?!”

 

Jaden says, weakly, “Koken-dono . . . Mellissa-san . . . Daniel-kun . . . you're back . . .”

 

Kraus tells Koken, with an evil smile, “Well, it has been awhile, Koken-dono. Well, you are too late. Jaden-dono is in a middle of a duel and I'm afraid that you can't interrupt.”

 

Koken yells out, with hate in his voice and anger in his tone, “I don't think so! I won't let you take my best friend's life like you took my sisters, asshole! This duel is over!”

 

Kraus points to Jaden's trapped friends and girlfriend and tells him, with an evil smile, “Wrong, Koken-dono! You see them? They are Jaden-dono's new friends and that blond hair beauty is his precious girlfriend, who happens to be the top female student around here, and they are standing under a good amount of explosions. One false move . . . and you get the idea.”

 

The fiery haired teenage woman yells out, angrily, “You bastard! Only you would come up with something this sick!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Thank you. But I've had help. Anyway, Jaden-dono and I are going to duel and there is nothing you can do about it.”

 

Jaden then groans out, weakly, “They can't . . . But I can . . .!” Everyone looks to see Jaden slowly rise to his feet and with his head lowered and breathing, Jaden says, with a serious tone, “There was really nothing I can do to stop Alyssa-san from you . . . then . . . but I can do something now . . . I can promise you this . . . .” Jaden raises his head towards Kraus, his golden crescent moon sigil glowing brightly, and he exclaims, determinedly, “No matter what it takes I will protect the girl that I love and my friends from you! This madness ends now!”

 

The black haired teen asks, stunned, “Where did that weird mark on Jaden-dono's head come from?”

 

Jaden's body gives off a silver glow, his wounds start to heal, his energy returns, and Kraus thinks in his mind, “What in the hell is going on here?! What is with that weird glow? That weird crescent moon mark on his forehead? And why does he looks like he is healing and getting stronger?!” Kraus says, with an evil sneer, “You think a few pallor tricks will scare me? Well, you are wrong! I end my turn!”

This spell card allows me to draw three cards from my deck, but then I will have to discard two from my hand!” Jaden draws three more cards from his deck, discards two from his hand, and says, putting another card in the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my O-Oversoul spell card! This card allows me to summon one Normal Elemental Hero from my grave back to the field!”

 

Kraus asks, with an evil taunting tone, “Going to rely on Sparkman or Clayman to protect you?”

 

Jaden gives a sly smile and says, “Nope! I'm going to summon a monster that you never seen before! Meet the one of my sweetest heroes: Elemental Hero Neos!”

 

Kraus and three new arrivals have their eyes widen in shock and Koken asks, curiously, “Elemental Who?” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Kraus yells out, stunned, “Wait a minute! I never heard of that Elemental Hero before! There is no monster like that on Earth!”

 

Jaden points to the sky and yells out, with a sly grin, “That's because Neos doesn't come from Earth! He comes from outer space!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil sneer, “That's impossible!”

 

The red haired girl asks, stunned, “Outer space Duel Monsters?”

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and yells out, “Next, I play my face-down! The spell H-Heated Heart!” Jaden's other face-down card is revealed to be H-Heated Heart spell card and Jaden says, with a sly smile, “With this card, I can raise the attack points of my Neos by five hundred!” Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000! Jaden asks Neos, “Ready to show him what you can do, pal?”

 

Neos nods his head and replies, “Indeed, Jaden. But we must be careful that deck of monster contains a powerful dark and negative force!”

 

Kraus and the three new arrivals gasp in shock and Kraus and Koken think at the same time, “That's no hologram! That's a real monster spirit in that card!”

 

Jaden calls out, strongly, “Neos, attack with Cosmic Crush!” Neos leaps in the air, comes down on Malicious Edge, and with one powerful karate chop, destroys the evil monster, costing Kraus 400 life-points causing him to yell out in pain as he gets shocked by the blue electrical current from the wiring in the cage dueling ring. Jaden says, with a sly smile, “How do you like, bro?”

 

Kraus gives a dark evil giggle and replies, sadistically and with an evil sadistic smile, “I love it.”

 

Jaden says, a bit nervously while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “I throw down a face-down and call it a turn!”

Jaden tells Kraus, holding up his deck, “You're wrong, Kraus! I have a new set of outer space heroes, the Neo-Spacians, on my back and I know that my new buds won't let me down! Do you have the same faith in your cards, pal?”

 

Kraus yells out, evilly, “Your ridiculous `faith in your deck' philosophy is starting to bore me! Let's move on, shall we?!” Kraus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Now, I play Card of Sanctity! Both of us must draw from our decks until we have six cards in our hands!” Kraus and Jaden then draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands! Kraus then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play Dark Spell Regeneration! This card allows me to use one spell card in the grave for one turn and I choose your O-Oversoul! This card allows me to bring back Clayman!” Soon after, his darker skinned tone Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) comes back to the field in defense mode. Kraus then puts another card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, evilly, “Next, I play another Dark Fusion!”

 

Yusuke yells out, stunned, “Another one of those blasted cards?! How many does that asshole have?!”

 

Koken and his two associates come over to our heroes and heroines and he says, with a serious tone, “Plenty for this murderous freak to kill any regular duelist. I take it that you are Jaden's new friends and his childhood friends, Yusuke and Hikari Urameshi, Keiko Yukimura, and Kuzama Kuwabara.”

 

Keiko replies, curiously, “That's us. But how did you know?”

 

The red haired girl replies, with a kind smile, “Back when we were trapped in that hellhole known as the Underground Dueling Circuit, Jaden-sama talked about you all the time. Hi, I'm Mellissa Wallington, a run-away back at that time. My black haired friend is Daniel Kites, a half-American and half-Japanese that was orphaned when his family died in a fire and this guy is Jaden-sama's best friend during his days trapped in slavery in the Underground, Koken Mylian.”

 

Serena asks, curiously, “Hi, but why do you call Jaden: `Jaden-sama'?”

 

Daniel says, with a smile, “Back in the old days, Jaden-dono was one of the best duelists out of all of us. His Elemental Heroes deck from his dad, his faith in his deck and his abilities, and his `Miracle Draw', the ability to draw what he needs when he really needs, earned him tons of respect. Not to mention that Jaden-dono was did his best to stand up for all of us and gotten badly beaten as a result. All of kids with incredible dueling talent that were trapped in that hellhole greatly respected him and he had this uncanny knack with his bright and cheerful attitude to bring out the best of us even trapped with that great darkness that was the Underground Dueling Ring.”

 

Chazz says, with his usual tone, “That's sounds like the Slacker that I know.”

 

Mellissa yells out, angrily, “You watch that to Jaden-dono or I will . . .!”

 

Chazz replies, strongly, “Or you will what?!” Just then Mellissa's right fist slams into Chazz's face, knocking him clearly unconsciousness, and it shows with anime-spirals coming out of his eyes.

 

Daniel sweatdrops and says, nervously, “We should have warned him. When you get Mellissa-chan mad, you might want to watch out.”

 

Lita says, with a sly smile, “I'll say.”

 

On the meanwhile, back to the duel, Kraus discards his Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) card in his hand with the Clayman card on his duel disk, puts a fusion monster card on his duel disk, and yells out, evilly, “Now, I Dark Fuse my Burstinatrix in my hand with the Clayman on my field!” Burstinatrix, but this one is black and red instead of white and red, comes onto the field, goes into a fusion vortex with Clayman, the fusion vortex becomes pitch black, and Kraus calls out, evil smile on his lips, “Meet Evil Hero Hell Sniper!” Out of the black fusion vortex, a humanoid like monster with blood red and yellow armor, vicious dark grey claws for fingers, and head with blood red lips, yellow visor over its eyes, pale skin, and black hair in a arch that goes much the way does its body. This new monster, Evil Hero Hell Sniper (2000/2500), comes to the field in defense mode. Kraus then says, with an evil smile, “While this card is in defense mode, it can take away one thousand of Jaden-dono's life-points per turn!”

 

Ami says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

 

Syrus calls out, horrified, “Jaden!” Hell Sniper's right arms turn into a cannon and fires directly at Jaden causing him to yell out in pain from the blast with him soon as blue electrical force surges through his body as he loses 1000 life-points. When the smoke and dust clear, Jaden's smoking form falls to the ground on his right knee and he breathing heavily for the pain that he suffered while Koken grips his right hand looking towards the platform containing Jaden's trapped friends and girlfriend, knowing there is nothing he can do while lives are in danger.

 

Kraus states, with an evil smile, “Guess that `second wind' didn't last too long, huh?”

 

Jaden gets to his feet and says, with a sly smile, “Sorry, but I'm just getting started!”

 

Kraus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, evil smile on his lips, “Ha! You are already finished before you began even with whatever new cards that you have!”

Since Neos is standing tall, I get two new cards!” Jaden draws two more cards from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and yells out, “You want to see what my new pals can do, Kraus?! Well, I summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole!” The ground cracks under them and Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (900/300) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Kraus laughs at Jaden's monster and exclaims, with an evil taunting tone, “What's an overgrown rat going to do?!”

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “He isn't a rat, jerk! He is an alien mole man! And even through he seems weak, when he unites with his friends, he is invincible!”

 

Kraus asks, perplexed, “What?!”

 

Jaden calls out, seriously, “Now, I fuse my Grand Mole with Neos!”

 

Kraus calls out, angrily, “You can't do that! You need to play Polymerization first!”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Wrong, pal! This is called Contact Fusion and it is legit! When Neos and a fusion material Neo-Spacian is on the field, I can combine them together without a Polymerization card! All I need to do is the monsters used in the fusion back to my deck!”

 

Kraus yells out, stunned, “Say what?!”

 

Jaden shouts out, with a smile, “Now, where was I? Oh, yeah! Roll call! Neos! Grand Mole! Contact Fusion!” As an outer space theme comes into the sky, Neos and Grand Mole leap into the air, Jaden returns the two cards to his deck, Jaden takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, puts it on his duel disk, and calls out, “Unite to form Elemental Hero Grand Neos!” The two monsters connect as they fuse into one and soon after, Elemental Hero Grand Neos (2500/2000), a humanoid monster with green armored shoulder pads, chest pad with a blue circular chest jewel in the center of the chest armor, left hand is a green armored gantlet with one foot thick black claws, right hand is large drill, brown and white skin, and green armored lower legs and feet, comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, with a sly smile, “And thanks to Grand Neos' special ability, one of your monsters is sent back to your hand, but since Hell Sniper is a fusion monster, it goes back to your deck! Later!” Grand Neos drills into the ground, a black hole goes behind Hell Sniper, and it is sucked into the hole as the card returns to the fusion monster deck.

 

Kraus yells out, shocked, “My monster!”

 

Jaden then calls out, “And with him gone, Grand Neos can attack you directly!” Grand Neos moves in with its drill right at Kraus.

 

Kraus pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, with an annoyed tone, “Wrong! I play Dark Wall of Wind!” Kraus' face-down card is revealed to be the Dark Wall of Wind Quick-Spell card, a dark energy dome surrounds him, stops Grand Neos' attack, and Kraus says, with an evil smirk, “Nice try, but this card will protect me from all direct attacks for this turn!”

 

Jaden puts a card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Well, normally, when I use Contact Fusion, the monster that it forms must return to my Fusion deck unless I have a Neo-Space Field Spell out, but with this card, Grand Neos won't be leaving me without help! I play Contact Out! Now, I can de-fuse Grand Neos and since Grand Mole and Neos are in my deck, I can automatically summon them to the field!” Two cards come out of Jaden's deck, Jaden puts them on his duel disk while returning the fusion monster card back to his fusion deck, and yells out, “Grand Neos, separate!” Soon after, Grand Neos separates into Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) and Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (900/300) in attack mode. Jaden puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and he says, “I'll throw down a face-down and call it a turn!”

 

Kraus draws one card from his deck and says, with an evil smile, “I'll admit it, Jaden-dono. Those alien monsters of yours are more powerful than I thought, but . . . they are no match for the power of this deck! First, since it has been two turns since I used his effect, Hell Gainer returns to the field now!” Kraus puts the card from his card pouch back on his duel disk and Evil Hero Hell Gainer (1600/0) returns to the field in attack mode. Kraus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, evilly, “And I'll prove it with this! I play my Hammer Shot! This card destroys the strongest monster on the field, so, say goodbye your alien friend!” Just then Neos explodes into particles, much to Jaden's shock.

 

Jaden exclaims, stunned, “Neos!”

 

Kraus puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, evilly, “But it gets worse for you, Jaden-dono! I play my Dark Calling spell card! I remove one Dark Fusion from my graveyard from play in order to use this card!” The spell card comes out of Kraus' graveyard, he puts it in his card pouch, and he says, “Now, I can Fusion Summon one Fiend Fusion monster as long as I remove the fusion material monsters from play in my grave or in my hand!” Kraus then displays his last card, Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000), and says, with an evil smile, “So, I remove Elemental Hero Avian from my hand and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in my grave from play!” Kraus takes his Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) monster card from his graveyard, puts the two monsters card in his card pouch, puts a fusion monster card from his fusion deck on his duel disk, a darker skinned Elemental Hero Avian appears with the darker skinned Elemental Hero Burstinatrix, the two monsters go into a fusion vortex that turns pitch black, and Kraus calls out, with an evil smile, “Meet Evil Hero Inferno Wing!” Out of the black fusion vortex, a female humanoid monster with dark green hair, blue visor covering its eyes, blood red lips, red and pale white skin, brown furry gantlets over much of its arms with five thick yellow claws coming out of the gantlets, claw-like feet, and two demonic wings coming out its back. This new monster, Evil Hero Inferno Wing (2100/1200), comes to the field in attack mode. Kraus then calls out, with an evil smile, “Now, Hell Gainer, crush that pathetic mole!” Hell Gainer rushes in, crushes Grand Mole with its claws, and Jaden yells out in pain as he is shocked by more electric energy as he loses 700 life-points.

 

Every one of Jaden's friends, expect for Zane and Hiei, yell out in shock and Syrus and Alexis call out in unison, horrified, “Jaden!”

 

After the electric current ends, Jaden says, with a smile, “You forgot about my Mole's ability! When he is in a smack-down, both cards return to our hands!” Soon after, Hell Gainer vanishes as both monsters return to their owner's hands.

 

Kraus then shouts out, seriously, “Who cares?! My Inferno Wing will finish this duel and you! Attack!” Inferno Wing rises into the air and launches dark blue flames right at Jaden directly.

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, “I play my face-down card! Flute of Summoning Kuriboh!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be Flute of Summoning Kuriboh, a card comes out of Jaden's deck, Jaden puts the card on his duel disk, and he yells out, “And I use it to summon Winged Kuriboh to help me!” Soon after, Winged Kuriboh (300/200) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “That pipsqueak can't help you!”

 

Jaden says, with a sly grin while pushing another button on his duel disk, “Want to bet! I reveal my other face-down card! Transcendent Wings!” Jaden's other face-down card is revealed to be Transcendent Wings Quick-Spell card, Jaden displays his Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (900/300) with his Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin (600/800), and yells out, “I sacrifice two cards from my hand and my pal to summon this!” A card comes out of Jaden's deck, Jaden puts on his duel disk, and calls out, “Winged Kuriboh Level 10!” Soon after, Winged Kuriboh glows as it transforms into Winged Kuriboh LV10 (300/200) in attack mode. Jaden then calls out, “Now, I play his effect! By sending this card to the graveyard, I can destroy all monsters on your side of the field and you take damage equal to your monster's attack power!”

 

Kraus calls out, stunned, “What?!”

 

Jaden yells out, with a sly smile, “Kuriboh, show him how it is done!” Winged Kuriboh LV10 glows brightly as it vanishes, Inferno Wing yells out as it is destroyed, and Kraus yells out as he is shocked by more electrical energy as his life-points drop by 2100 points. After the shocking stops, his body is slumped forward and his body is smoking. But just then Kraus start to evilly giggle that turns into full-fledged evil laughter.

 

The others, expect for Koken, Mellissa, and Daniel, is confused by this and Mindy asks, perplexed, “What is his problem?”

 

Mellissa says, with a nasty sneer, “He is just enjoying himself, that's what. He is a sick bastard.”

 

Kraus then says, with a sick and sadistic look in his eyes and an evil tone, “Excellent! Just excellent! I never had an exciting duel like this for years! You are the opponent that I've wanted for a long time, Jaden-dono! And this will make my victory sweeter when I defeat and get rid of you!”

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “We'll see about that, pal!”

 

Kraus puts the card that came back to his hand and says, “Since I didn't summon any monsters this turn, I can summon my Hell Gainer back to the field in defense mode and call it a turn!” Soon after, Evil Hero Hell Gainer (1600/0) comes back to the field in defense mode.

Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Neos Energy spell card! This card any Neo-Spacian an additional eight hundred attack points!” Air Hummingbird's stats rise from 800/600 to 1600/600! Jaden then shouts out, “Hummingbird, take out his Hell Gainer! Slaughtering Swoop!” Air Hummingbird flies into the air, does a mid-air back roll, and dives right into Hell Gainer, destroying it, but since it was in defense mode, Kraus loses no life-points. Jaden puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end my turn!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Your last turn!” Kraus draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play my Card of Demise! I draw until I have five cards in my hand, but in five turns, I lose my entire hand!” Kraus draws five cards, gains a great wide evil sadistic smile on his lips, and he yells out, “But you won't last this turn, Jaden-dono!”

 

Jaden says, with a determined tone, “Prove it!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil sly grin, “You asked for it!” Kraus then displays a spell card with a picture of a dark aura coming from someone's deck towards an opponent's field and Kraus says, with an evil smile, “First, I play my Evil Transfer Summons spell card! Now, I get to summon one monster from my deck to your side of the field as long as it is an `Evil Hero' with four stars or less and you get to choose the mode!” Kraus goes through his deck, takes out one card, and he says, displaying a second Evil Hero Hell Gainer (1600/0), “I'll give you another of my Hell Gainers!” Just then Evil Hero Hell Gainer (1600/0) comes to Jaden's side of the field.

 

Jaden says, sarcastically, “Thanks. What I've always wanted.”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “What mode will put it in?”

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “Defense mode!” Evil Hero Hell Gainer goes into defense mode.

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “How boring. However, this card gives me something in return! It allows me to summon any Evil Hero from my grave that's has double the level or less of the monster that I gave you, despite summoning requirements, but he has to return in the same mode that you chose for the monster that I gave you! And I choose Evil Hero Malicious Edge!” Soon after, Evil Hero Malicious Edge (2600/1800) comes back to the field in defense mode. Kraus then takes one card from his hand and says, with an evil smile, “And now, I play a spell card that you have the honor of witness! It wasn't in the duel that your father fought in when he went up against this deck. However, you already know what it is! It is a spell card created with the power of the darkness of duelists' soul captured when they lost to this deck!” Kraus then displays a Quick-Spell card with a picture of dark blue and bright blue fusion vortex with lightning and water coming from the center and yells out, evilly, “Now, I play my Super Fusion spell card!”

 

Jaden gasps in horror and yells out, “No way! I thought that card was incomplete!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “What do you think that I've been doing all this time, Jaden-dono?! Using the souls of duelists that I defeated with this deck, including Alyssa, I have completed the most powerful spell card ever to exist!” Kraus puts the card in the spell/trap slot causing a bright dark violet glow to come from it and Kraus yells out, evilly, “Now, see its ultimate power! All I need to do is discard one card from my hand to play this card! And now, I can summon a fusion monster from my fusion deck with the cards on my side and my opponent's side of the field!”

 

Zane says, with dark tone and a rare look of surprise, “He can fuse monsters on his opponent's side of the field along with his own?! I've got to admit that's one powerful card!”

 

Kraus discards a Fake Hero spell card and he says, with an evil smile, “But that's not all it does! Monster, Spell, and Trap card effects can't be used to stop the activation of this card or be used in anyway against the monster created by this card, making the monster totally invincible! Now, I fuse my Malicious Edge with the Hell Gainer on Jaden-dono's side of the field to summon my ultimate creature!” Just then a huge dark blue and blue fusion vortex comes onto the field and Malicious Edge on Kraus' side of the field while Hell Gainer on Jaden's side of the field are sucked into the vortex while Kraus puts a fusion monster card from his fusion deck on his duel disk. Kraus then yells out, evil wide smile on his lips, “Meet the monster of your doom! The one that took away Koken-dono's precious sister! Evil Hero Malicious Devil!” Just then out of the dark blue and blue fusion vortex, the very same monster from Jaden's nightmare appears on the field, Evil Hero Malicious Devil (3500/3000), comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Ami says, with horror, “With those attack points and unable to be effected or destroyed or effected by spell, trap, or monster card effects?! If that attack hits Jaden, he is done for!”

 

Kraus yells out, with an evil serious tone, “That's exactly my point, little cutie! Malicious Devil, get rid of that overgrown canary and end this duel! Kill Jaden-dono now!” Evil Hero Malicious Devil gives an evil smile from his dark colored lips and rushes towards Jaden's Air Hummingbird, ready to finish this duel.

 

Alexis calls out, horrified, “Jaden!”

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, seriously, “I don't think so! I play my face-down card! Neos Survival!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with a picture of Air Hummingbird sending energy into a duelist and Jaden says, with a serious tone, “This card activates when my life-points are threatened from a monster attack and I have a Neo-Spacian on the field! Now, my life-points get increased the amount of that Neo-Spacian's original attack points and that will give me enough to survive this attack!” Jaden's life-points then increase by 800 more life-points as he and Hummingbird glow in rainbow colors.

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “You might survive and but your overgrown parrot doesn't!” Malicious Edge slices right through Air Hummingbird and it cries out as it is destroyed while Jaden screams out in pain and agony as he is shocked again by the electric wires as he loses 1900 life-points. When the electric shock is done, Jaden's badly burned and smoking form falls to the ground on his stomach, going in and out of consciousness.

 

Syrus yells out, worriedly, “Jaden, get up!”

 

Yusuke calls out, seriously, “Jaden, get the hell up!”

 

Serena yells out, worriedly, “Jaden!”

 

Alexis calls out, horrified, “Jaden!”

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “It is all over, Jaden-dono! You have lost! This duel and our little rivalry is finally over!” Kraus then gives out an evil laugh, thinking that he has won.

 

Keiko says, horrified, “This is awful.” On the meanwhile, the three new arrivals give looks of anger and rage at the person that's torturing our Slifer Red duelist with this sick duel.

 

Lita yells out, with a dark angered tone, “This asshole is even sicker than that brainwashing freak of nature! I didn't that was possible!”

 

However, with the barely conscious Jaden, a female voice rings out in his mind, “Jaden-dono . . . don't give up . . . everyone is counting on you . . .!!”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, stunned, “It can't be . . . Alyssa-oneesan?!”

 

The female voice tells Jaden in his mind, “Yes, Jaden-dono . . . it's me . . . I know you have the strength to win . . . the girl that you love and all your friends are counting on you . . . You have these great gifts for a reason . . . you gave hope to me and my brother in our darkest hours . . . You gave and kept hope when things seemed hopeless . . . everyone is counting on . . . you know what to do . . .”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, with a determined tone, “I'm not sure if I'm hallucinated since I'm barely conscious . . . but she's right . . . everyone is counting on me . . . there are still people to free from that alien freak . . . and I can't let Kraus hurt anyone else with that forbidden deck . . . I won't give up . . . I can't give up . . .!!” Just then Jaden's eyes shoot up and he slowly manages to get to his feet.

 

Kraus says, with an evil smile, “Haven't had enough?”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Remember, Kraus, a duel isn't over until the last card is played! So, this duel is on!”

 

Kraus says, with a smile, “Fine! Your move!”

I take five monster cards and return them to my deck and fusion deck! So, I choose my Sparkman, Bladedge, Clayman, Aqua Dolphin, and Grand Mole!” The five named cards come out of Jaden's graveyard, he puts them on his deck, and says, with a serious tone, “Next, I reshuffle and draw two cards from my deck!” Jaden then reshuffles his deck, puts his deck back in his duel disk when he is done, draws two cards, and says, with a smile when he sees them, “Sweet.” Jaden then pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, “Now, I play my Soul Resurrection trap card!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Soul Resurrection trap card and Jaden says, with a smile, “Now, I can summon one Normal Monster back to the field in defense mode! And I choose my Neos!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes back to the field in defense mode. Jaden then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “Next, I play my Contact Soul! Since Elemental Hero Neos is on the field, I can summon one Neo-Spacian from my hand, deck, or graveyard as long as I return all monster cards to my side of the field this turn! And I choose to bring back my Hummingbird!” Soon after, Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird (800/600) comes back to the field in attack mode. Jaden then calls out, “Now, unite to form Elemental Hero Air Neos!” Neos and Air Hummingbird leap into the air as a outer space back-drop comes onto the field, the two heroes unite while Jaden puts the two monster cards back in his deck, puts a fusion monster card on his duel disk, and out of the light, a new monster appears on the field.

 

This new monster is a humanoid monster with pointed head pointing behind it, yellow jewel on its forehead, deep blue eyes, red colored body, bird-like hands with yellow clawed fingers, silver boots with deep brown feathers coming out of the rear of the boots, and Air Hummingbird's wings coming out of its back. Elemental Hero Air Neos (2500/2000) has arrived in attack mode.

 

Jaden then says, with a smile, “And thanks to Air Neos' special ability, since you have more life-points than me, Air Neos' attack points increase by the value by the difference of our points and that's seven hundred more points!” Air Neos' stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3200/2000! Jaden's Field Spell slot opens, Jaden puts a card in the slot, and he yells out, “Next, I play my Neo-Space Field Spell!” When the slot closes, the field changes into a rainbow aurora-like field and Jaden says, with a smile, “This gives my Air Neos an additional five hundred attack points!” Air Neos' stats then rise from 3200/2000 to 3700/2000! Jaden then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Finally, I play this! Assault Armor! When there is one warrior-type monster on my side of the field, I can play this card and it gives my Neos an extra three hundred attack points!” Air Neos' stats rise again from 3700/2000 to 4000/2000 as it gives off a golden glow.

 

Kraus winches in shock and he yells out, “Four thousand attack points?!”

 

Jaden tells Kraus, seriously, “You know it, bro! Now, Air Neos, attack his Malicious Devil!” Air Neos creates a glowing sword with a green blade of energy, rushes in, and attacks Evil Hero Malicious Devil, slicing right in half, and destroying it causing Kraus to yell out in pain as he gets shock while he loses 300 life-points. While Air Neos' stats reduce down from 4000/2000 to 3700/2000!

 

After the shocking stops, Kraus says, with an evil sly grin, “I'm still here . . . Jaden-dono.”

 

Jaden calls out, with a serious tone, “Not for long, Kraus! My Assault Armor has one more sweet effect, by sending it to my grave, I can allow Air Neos to attack twice this turn!”

 

Kraus yells out, horrified, “No, it can't be!” The glow around Air Neos fades away as it stats reduce down to 3300/2000!

 

Jaden shouts out, seriously, “Oh, but it can! Air Neos, end this nightmare! Attack him directly!” Air Neos rushes in with his sword, slices Kraus right through the middle, and he screams out in extreme pain and agony as he is shocked while he loses 3300 life-points, ending the duel immediately. Jaden then calls out when Kraus' life-points hit zero, “That's game!”

After the final hologram fade away, Kraus is still getting shocked and he yells out, in pain and in shock, “NO! HOW CAN THIS BE?! HOW COULD I LOSE TO YOU . . .?!!!” Just then a huge explosion rips through the cage causing the side of it that Kraus was standing in to blown open causing all of the SOL members to duck and cover while a huge amount of smoke covers the whole area, concealing a figure that goes to platform while Blair jumps off instinctually to get away from any debris. When the smoke and dust clear, everyone is coughing while Darien is protecting Serena in his arms while Yusuke is doing the same for Keiko in his arms and Zane is doing the same for Hikari causing her to blush when she sees this.

 

Darien calls out, serious tone in his voice, “Is everyone all right?!”

 

Keiko says, surprised, “I think so.” When everyone looks toward the cage, Jaden is conscious on one foot and kneeling down on his right knee while Kraus is totally unconscious with his back to the ground and his entire deck scattered around with the back of the cage blown away while the rest collapses to the ground.

 

Jaden says, with a weak smile, “Finally. This nightmare is finally over.”

 

Serena yells out, worriedly, “Jaden, are you okay?”

 

Jaden turns his head to see all of his friends running over to him and on top of the remains of the cage and he says, with a weak smile, “I'm just fine.”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Jaden!” Immediately, everyone looks to see Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Hotaru, Kuwabara, and Sota running free.

 

Kagome goes over to her little brother, embraces him, and yells out, happily, “Sota, you're okay! Don't ever worry me like that, you little brat!”

 

Sota tells Kagome, with a happy smile, “I'm sorry, sis.”

 

Hotaru is embraced by her guardians and Michelle asks Hotaru, worriedly, “Are you okay, Firefly?”

 

Hotaru replies, with a smile, “I'm just fine, Michelle-mama.”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, worriedly, “Are you okay, Jaden?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “I'm fine, Syi. Just worn out. How do you get away?”

 

Just then Yeshua walks up to all of them, drops various bomb parts, the chains, and sutras to the ground and he says, with a plain and logical tone, “I would be the one that did that. While all of you were focused on the duel, I snuck into the facility and managed to disable the bombs to make sure the Sun Princess and the others were safe. I was about to tell you when I disarmed Ms. Blair when the duel ended in your victory, Jaden.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice yells out, in an angered tone, “Damn you, Yeshua!” Everyone looks to the source to see Sartorius with his SOL members, rejoined by Blair who runs over to Sartorius' right side.

 

Yeshua tells Sartorius, in a plain and logical tone, “I wouldn't get involved because it is the job of the Chosen Duelists to defeat you, but I cannot allow you when you use such dishonorable dueling methods. There is a limit to my patience and you just broke it. I couldn't stand around and allow you to do this, so, I did what I must to stop you. I'm afraid that you have forced my hand and forced me to get more active in this fight.” Yeshua takes out a dueling deck, glowing with white and black light, and he says, with a logical tone, “And I will do with my loyal servants, reborn as Duel Monster cards.”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil scowl, “It won't matter! The whole world will see the light along with the Chosen Duelists! And you will see that soon enough!”

 

Yeshua then says, with a plain and logical tone and pointing to his right and behind him, “Then you should make sure to take them along.” When everyone looks to where Yeshua is pointing at and they are amazed to see Bastion and Crowler tied together with duck tape, which is over their mouths as well, and bouncing around to get to their `Master'. Yeshua says, with a sigh and in a plain and logical tone, “If you are going to send someone to spy on me, you had better make sure that don't get me to notice them or be dumb enough to try to stop me physically when they knew of my plans.”

 

When they fall to the ground on their right side, our heroes and heroines laugh at them and Yusuke says, with a dark sly smile, “Nice one, Yeshua.”

 

Rei says, with her own dark sly smile, “Now, that's what I call funny.”

 

Serena says, with her own dark sly smile, “You know it, Pyro.”

 

Growling in anger and annoyance, Sartorius motions for them to be freed, Blair uses the sword to cut them lose, they get to their feet, and Yuka says, with a cold nasty tone, “You, two, are useless. I don't know why Master Sartorius keeps you around.”

 

Crowler says, with an annoyed tone, “Oh, shut up. You are new to the Society, so, keep it shut.”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil sneer, “Let's go.”

 

Crowler, Bastion, Yuka, Eri, Ayumi, Blair, and Molly yell out in unison and in cold and emotionless tones, “Yes, sir!” Soon, Sartorius and all of the SOL members with him leave in a hurry while our heroes and heroines, expect for Yeshua, give them plenty of sly to dark sly smiles from their lips.

 

Kuwabara asks, in a dark curious tone, “Shouldn't we go after those dorks?!”

 

Kurama says, with a sigh, “It is for the best that we let them go. We will battle them again another day.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “And they will pay for everything that they did!”

 

Tyranno says, with a dark serious tone, “You know it, soldier!”

 

Jaden asks Alexis, “Are you okay, Lex?”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a smile, “I should be asking you the same thing, Jay.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “I'll be fine.”

 

Yukina goes over to Jaden and she says, “However, it would be a good idea for me to heal just in case.”

 

Hikari tells Yukina, with a smile, “Thanks, Yukina.”

 

Yukina says, with a smile, “It is no trouble at all.” Soon after, Yukina starts to use her powers and heal Jaden. His burns and wounds fade away as his health and his energy are also restored to normal.

 

Jaden gets to his feet and tells Yukina, with a smile, “That's great, Yukina. Thanks.”

 

Yukina replies, with her sweet smile, “You're welcome.” Just then everyone notices Koken putting his right foot on the unconscious Kraus' chest with a hateful stare in his eyes.

 

Koken says, with a voice full of hate and malice, “I've waited for this day for years, you traitorous bastard. Jaden-dono and his family gave us everything and you turned your back on us and took the life of my sister. Well, your justice comes today.” Just then Koken takes a samurai sword from his cloak and points at the unconscious Kraus' neck, ready to slice his head clean off his shoulders.

 

Jaden tells Koken, “Koken-dono, wait! Don't do it!”

 

Koken asks Jaden, “Jaden-dono, why should you allow this bastard to live?! He deserves everything that's coming to him! He has hurt countless people, including nearly killing and taking my sister away from me! He deserves to die!”

 

Jaden tells Koken, in a calm tone, “That's might be true, Koken-dono, but if you do this, in cold blood, you will become the very thing that you hate! You have to listen! Killing this bastard won't being Alyssa-oneesan back! It will only cause you more pain and suffering! Revenge is not the answer!”

 

Just then a young girl's voice calls out, “Please, brother, listen to Jaden-dono!” And then a card from Kraus' deck, the Super Fusion Quick-Spell card, starts to glow with a bright light and a huge column of light comes from it causing everyone to leap back.

 

Mina yells out, stunned, “Whoa! What's with the light show?!”

 

Atem says, with a serious tone, “I sense something from that card. Spirits.”

 

Tea asks, worriedly, “Spirits?”

 

Atem says, with a serious tone, “Yes. When Kraus played that card, I could sense pain, sorrow, and despair from that card like from human spirits, but now, I sense peace and joy coming from that card!” Soon enough, multiple human spirits of various races and colors come from the card and rise into the sky. One of them stops in front of them and it was the girl from Jaden's nightmare.

 

Jaden says, shocked, “It can't be! Alyssa-oneesan?!”

 

Keiko asks Jaden, “Isn't that your friend's sister that was killed?”

 

The spirit of the young girl opens her eyes and says, with a smile, “Yes, I am. When Kraus defeated and killed me in that duel, years ago, my soul like many others was sealed in this card to awaken its great power. However, it is a power that can be used for good and evil depending on the energy the card is fused with. Kraus fed it with the despair, pain, and sorrow of the duelists' souls that he captured when they lost to him and this forbidden deck. Starting with mine on the day that he killed me. But thanks to the power of Jaden-dono's deck and his will and determination, our spirits are now free to go to their rest, and the power of the card has been purified, thanks to purity of his heart and soul as well as his decks power!”

 

Yeshua says, with a plain and logical tone, “So, the card's power can be used for good and evil, correct?”

 

Alyssa or her spirit nods her head and replies, “Yes.” Alyssa turns to her brother, who is in shock, and she tells her, with a warm and gentle smile, “Thank you for always being there for me, bro, and I know that my death caused you and Jaden-dono great pain, but please don't become consumed for revenge just because of me.”

 

Koken says, with a serious tone with tears in his eyes, “But he took you away from me! You were the only family I had left!”

 

Alyssa tells Koken, “But you have family . . . just not related by blood!” Alyssa points to Jaden, Mellissa, and Daniel and says, with a smile, “You have Jaden-dono, Mellissa-san, and Daniel-kun as well as all of their friends, especially Jaden-dono's friends, to help and guide you. They will always be there for you. I will always be here and to let you in on a secret, this isn't the end of my journey.”

 

Koken asks Alyssa, “What do you mean?” Alyssa then puts her hands together and a star seed with a sailor crystal appears in her hands, her star seed.

 

The Sailor Scouts of the group along with Jaden, Yusuke, and Darien and Serena yells out, surprised, “A star seed!”

 

Daniel asks Serena, “What's a star seed?”

 

Alyssa says, with a smile, “It is complex to explain, but everyone has one of these. However, my star seed is very special. It holds a special crystal know as a sailor crystal and I learned about it on the day my soul was trapped with that card. One day, I will be reborn into this world, but when and how, I'm not sure. The idea of being reborn as me, as Alyssa, may not be possible, but I will come back to life one day. But until I return, my spirit will always be with you, bro.” Alyssa's spirit goes over to Koken, kiss him on the forehead, and Alyssa tells Jaden, with a smile, “The Super Fusion card is now yours to use. Use it only to do what you do best. Protect those that you love and the innocent from evils like Kraus. And keep my brother safe, too, Jaden-dono.”

 

Jaden tells Alyssa, with a smile, “I will. And we will be waiting when you return.”

 

Alyssa smiles and tells Jaden, with a warm and kind tone, “Thank you, Jaden-dono. You've always been a good friend to me and my brother. Until we meet again, one day . . .” Soon after, Alyssa's spirit fades into her star seed, her star seed lifts off into the sky, and vanishes.

 

Mindy states, amazed, “Wow! So, she is like us, right?”

 

Yeshua says, with a plain and logical tone, “Yes. And one day, like you, she will be reborn into the world. It wasn't possible before because the dark powers of that forbidden trapped her star seed and her spirit within the Super Fusion card, but with it purified, it will no longer happen ever again as long as Jaden keeps a pure heart and spirit.”

 

Jaden says, getting the card from the ground, which is glowing with a golden light now, “You can count on that, Yeshua.” Jaden thinks in his mind, with a smile, “I will never forget you, Alyssa-oneesan. And I can't wait to see you as a Sailor Scout.”

 

Mellissa asks Koken, curiously, “Will you be all right, Koken-dono?”

 

Koken says, with a smile on his lips, “Yes. Yes, I will. For the first time in a long time.” Koken throws the sword away and says, with a serious tone, “I know now, he isn't worth staining my hands with blood over.”

 

Yusuke says, with a dark sneer, “What will do with this asshole now?!”

 

Daniel says, with a serious tone, “He has been charged with various crimes with proof by various police agencies all over the world, including Japan.”

 

Trista says, with a serious tone, “Then it is for the best that we turn him in to Chancellor Sheppard so he can call the police and he can stand trial for his crimes.”

 

Darien says, with a serious tone and a nod, “Good idea, Trista.”

 

Jaden gathers up the cards from the Evil Heroes deck, it gives off a bright black glow, Jaden winches in pain, and Jaden asks Rei, “Rei, do you have a few scrolls handy?”

 

Rei replies, with a nod, “Sure.” Rei takes out several anti-evil scrolls and uses them to wrap up the Evil Heroes deck, monster, spell, trap, and fusion monster cards, causing the black glow to fade. Rei says, with a smile, “There. All of its dark powers are sealed up.” Jaden takes Kraus' card pouch, puts it inside, and seals up the card pouch.

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “Back where it belongs.”

 

Alexis asks Jaden, seriously, “Jay, I can understand why you never told Yusuke or your family about this, but why didn't you tell me?”

 

Hikari says, seriously, “Personally, Yusuke, Keiko, Kuwabara, and I always wondered why Jaden and his mom left so quickly some years ago. But now, I can see why.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with his head lowered, “I'm sorry, Lex. I didn't mean to keep this from you. It was just . . . just . . . so hard . . . believe me . . . the nightmares that I suffered from what happened to Alyssa-oneesan was left in my mind for years. And this is part of the reason that I really began to hate Sartorius before I knew the truth. He was doing things similar to what Kraus. Hurting people ruthlessly and taking people that meant the world to me. And I never wanted that to happen again.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a smile, “Jaden, you goof. You will never lose me. I understand. If someone so close to my heart was murdered before my eyes, I would want to keep it to myself, but we're your friends and we're here for you. And I love you, Jay. So, don't things to yourself like that, okay?”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “I promise.”

 

Yusuke says, with his sly smile, “You better, Jay. Or both my sisters and I will make sure that you talk!” Alexis and Hikari give wide smiles after Yusuke says this and Jaden gains a nervous smile.

 

Jaden says, with a mocked worried tone, “Yikes! I'll remember that.”

 

Kuwabara then says, with a dark sly smile, “Now, let's get this piece of smile out of here and get ready to pay those white dorks back!”

 

Koken asks Jaden, “By the way, Jaden-dono, who was those freaks in white? They looked quite evil, so, who are they?”

 

Jaden tells Koken, with a serious tone, “Bad news, Koken-dono. I'll explain it to you on the way.”

 

Mellissa asks Jaden, “What about that weird golden crescent moon mark on your forehead?”

 

Jaden tells Mellissa, nervously, “A long story.” Jaden then says, with a smile, “However, it is good to see you, three, again.”

 

Daniel tells Jaden, with a smile, “Glad to be back, Jaden-dono. So, how have you been?”

 

Jaden tells Daniel, with a smile, “Like I said, it is a long story.” Soon enough, our heroes and heroines head off into the distance with Yeshua putting the unconscious Kraus on his back as they prepare to head over to Chancellor Sheppard to turn him into authorities while Jaden smiles knowing his friends, beloved girlfriend/lover, and family are safe with an old nightmare from his past finally over causing more hope and faith to fill Jaden's heart about the future to come . . .

 

Next time in Chapter 16: Deadly Clash on Academy Island: After Kraus is taken to authorities and taken away, Jaden's old friends from his formally `hidden past' are allowed to stay on visitors' passes and they get the heads up on what's happened with Jaden since they last saw him years ago. Needless to say, being surprised is going to be a major understatement. Soon after, our heroes and heroines rest up for the night while Yeshua shows another `side' to himself with his unique `quark'. The next day, our heroes and heroines deicide to really lash out against the SOL for payback for brainwashing Blair, Molly, Yuka, Eri, and Ayumi and for that sick duel that helped with Kraus. Crowler becomes the first victim of our heroes' and heroines' wrath when he is forced into a duel against our Moon Princess and needless to say, she isn't very happy with him and it shows when she appears in her `Dark Form' for this duel. On the meanwhile, Jaden and Bastion have their own `Shadow Match' while Bonaparte is about to feel Mina's wrath when she shows that she might be the Sailor Senshi, but when you use her to hurt her best friend, this avatar of the Greek Goddess of Love can be wrathful, especially with the powers of the Darkness of Salvation on her side. However, under the surface, a new danger is about to face our heroes and heroines. Soon enough, Prince Diamond and Wicked Lady prepare for their revenge against our heroes and heroines, but they are not alone! It seems like the clash of negative and positive forces revived other various enemies for our heroes' and heroines' past including Naraku, who is now in Kagome's time to take revenge against her time-traveling miko and Inuyasha and get the Sacred Jewel, Mistress Nine, Queen Beryl and the Negaverse, various amount of Yusuke's foes that were destroyed or trapped during his time as Spirit Detective, and even the former evil spirit of the Millennium Ring, Yami Bakura, who is actually part of Zorc the Dark One, also makes his appearance. They launch a full scale attack on Duel Academy with their own plans to get revenge against our heroes and heroines and conquer the world. Now, our heroes and heroines must unite against their foes like never before with the whole of Academy Island turned into a battlefield! However, it won't be easy since their enemies are stronger than ever before! Can our heroes and heroines stop this threat to Academy Island and all of the innocent people on it?! What will happen between Serena, Jaden, and Mina in their duels against Crowler, Bastion, and Bonaparte?! Well, this has taken awhile, but I'm back with a brand new chapter! Well, what do you think? How did you like the duel between the Elemental Heroes and Neo-Spacians versus the Evil Heroes?! Before you say that these are nice original cards, I would like to say that the Evil Heroes are not original cards, expect for Evil Transfer Summons spell card, but they are a deck used by Jaden in the third season when he comes under the control of the evil Supreme King of the Dark World. I thought it would be interesting to see how they fare against Jaden's own Neos deck. Anyway, what did you think of this chapter? Please read and review and tells me what you think.
