Chapter 27: Path to the Ultimate Duel

 

(Within Duel Academy's harbor; One day after Seira joined our heroes and heroines)

 

Assembled in Duel Academy's harbor, there is a large yacht preparing to leave Duel Academy and at the bottom of the gangplank, Rebecca, Marik, Joey, Tristan, Mai, Joey, Yugi, the younger Atem, the younger Tea, the younger Serenity Wheeler, and the younger Ishizu, are assembled in front of the rest of our heroes and heroines, joined by Seira AKA the new Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse, are sending them off to Egypt to stop Queen Beryl and Jadeite from getting their hands on the Millennium Spellbook, the mystical Spellbook that contained the ritual that created the seven Millennium Items in the first place. If Queen Beryl and Jadeite get their hands on that book of spells, they could gain Shadow Powers that are far more powerful than the seven Millennium Items. However, our heroes and heroines have enough to deal with here at Duel Academy, especially the Society of Light and the Light of Destruction, which still possessed Sartorius.

 

Jaden tells Atem, holding the Millennium Puzzle, “I still think that you should take the Puzzle, Atem.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, with a kind smile, “No, Jaden. You need the Puzzle more than I do and you are my heir. The Millennium Puzzle and God Cards belong to you now.”

 

Serena tells them, with a serious tone, “Atem, Queen Beryl and the Negaverse might be seriously weakened, even more so with Zorc getting rid of two of three revived generals, they are still quite dangerous.”

 

Atem tells Serena, with a kind smile, “Thank you for your concern, Serena. But Yugi and I have taken been in very serious situations before and I'm sure that we can handle ourselves now.”

 

Trista gives Yugi a watch similar to the communication watches and she says, with a serious tone, “Well, I think that it is best that you take this communication watch. It will allow you to keep in contact with us and when you find something out: Make sure to let us know.”

 

Tea says, with a nod, “Right!”

 

Rebecca says, with a sly smile, “And thanks to Ami's and Bastion's help downloading the information that Kagemaru had on the Shadow Games was easy. This shall help us in the search for that Spellbook.”

 

Hikari asks, curiously, “Are you sure that you don't want one of us to come with you?”

 

Yugi tells Hikari, with a smile, “We'll be okay, Kari.”

 

Joey says, with a sly smile, “We're smart enough not to get into trouble when it isn't necessary.”

 

Tea says, with a sly grin, “Speak for yourself, Joey. And double for Tristan.”

 

Tristan and Joey say in unison, drolly, “Thanks a lot, Tea.”

 

Ishizu tells our heroes and heroines, “Do not worry, our friends. We shall be okay and we will make sure not to do anything that shall get us into too much trouble.”

 

Alexis tells them, “Good luck.”

 

Mai says, with a sly grin, “We'll need it.” Soon after, the group walks up the gangplank to board the ship and wave back to our heroes and heroines, who wave back. Soon after, Yugi's and Atem's group boarded the yacht, the gangplank raises, and ship blows a whistle as it slowly heads off into the horizon.

 

Syrus asks, curiously, “Will they be okay?”

 

Hotaru replies, “I don't know, Syrus-kun.”

 

Yusuke asks, seriously, “So, what do we do?”

 

Jaden replies, with a serious tone, “What do you think, Yusuke?”

 

Serena says, with a sly smile, “We do what we usually do: Save the world.”

 

Trista says, with a nod, “The faster that we defeat Sartorius and seal the Light of Destruction, the faster we can go after Beryl and stop her from getting the Millennium Spellbook.”

 

Seira says, with a sigh, “This is a lot to take in.”

 

Serena tells Seira, with a smile, “Don't worry, Seira. I'm sure that you will do fine.”

 

Sango says, with a serious tone, “Well, we are going to need her help.”

 

Miroku says, with a serious tone, “Indeed. There are still various enemies to take care.”

 

Shippo states, with a nod, “Like the Band of Seven and what about that `Prince Diamond' character?”

 

Rini says, with a sigh, “Did you have to remind us about him? I don't like him trying to take mommy away from me.”

 

Yusuke says, with a sly grin, “Don't worry! With us helping around, he won't get his dirty hands on your mom!”

 

Kurama says, with a serious tone, “Well, Rini does have a point. We haven't heard a thing from Prince Diamond for sometime.”

 

Lita asks, perplexed, “What is that guy up to this time?”

 

Serena retorts, with a sigh, “Personally, Lita-chan, I don't want to know.”

 

Kagome says, with a nod, “Well, we had better keep our guard up with enemies like the survivors like the Band of Seven and that Black Moon family still on the loose here.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a nod, “No joke! People like them tend to be a pain in the ass and don't forget that asshole!”

 

Kagome says, with a sigh, “Naraku. Between you and me, Inuyasha, I wish that we can forget.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a sneer, “No kidding.”

 

Sango asks, curiously, “Personally, I wonder: What do you think that Sesshomaru is doing?”

 

Inuyasha says, with a snort, “I could care less about that jerk!”

 

Ami says, with a dark logical tone, “For now, we should continue focusing on dismantling the Society of Light.”

 

Rei says, with a dark serious tone, “Yeah. Good idea, Ami-chan. The less we have to deal with them, the better.”

 

Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “Well, I think that Kari and I know what they are up to.”

 

The rest of our heroes and heroines look at them in shock and Yusuke asks Hikari, amazed, “You do?! How?!”

 

Zane says, with a dark sick grin, “We . . . asked around.”

 

Atticus says, with a nervous tone, “I think that we don't want to know.”

 

Alexis says, with a nervous tone, “No joke.”

 

Serena asks Hikari, curiously, “So, what is that jerk up to?”

 

Hikari tells Serena, with a dark serious tone, “What do you think? They are after you, Jay, my bro, me, Kagome, and Aster Phoenix.”

 

Zane says, seriously, “However, he has changed tactics.” Soon after, Hikari and Zane start to explain what they had heard while leaving out a few `details' about how they got that information . . .

 

(Rejoining Prince Diamond; in a unknown location)

 

Inside of an unknown location within the area of Academy Island, we find ourselves with a black and dark violet crystal cavern with Prince Diamond sitting down on a black crystal throne and starting down at a crystal ball protecting a hologram of our Moon Princess as Valkyrie Sailor Moon.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a serious tone, “So strong and so beautiful. She is the great jewel of the universe and she shall be mine.”

 

Just then a male voice calls out, “Brother?” Soon after, Prince Diamond looks to see none other than Sapphire teleport in front of him.

 

Prince Diamond asks, curiously, “What is it, Sapphire?”

 

Sapphire tells Prince Diamond, “Brother, why are we plotting against the Earthlings? We have been given a second chance.”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a nod, “Yes, but this planet and its people mean nothing to me.” Sapphire gives a perplexed look and Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “SHE is the only thing that interests me. I am beyond taking revenge on this pathetic planet. A beautiful crystal in human form and now, fully infused with power, grace, and beauty.”

 

Sapphire tells Prince Diamond, “Brother, you can never win her heart. Her heart belongs to the Earth Prince.”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sneer, “Such a pathetic being having such beauty for himself? I shall never accept that! I will find a way to claim Serenity as my own! Ruling the universe or destroying it means nothing to me! I shall not follow Doom Phantom's path! I shall follow the path of my heart and I shall claim the beauty that's hers.”

 

Sapphire thinks in his mind, with a sigh, “He truly doesn't care about conquering this world, but his obsession with the ruler of Crystal Tokyo shall be his destruction.”

 

On the meanwhile, Emerald is overhearing and she thinks in her mind, angrily, “What does that pathetic little moon whore have that I don't?!”

 

(Within the walls of the `White Dorm'; A short time soon after)

 

Inside of the walls in the `White Dorm', we find the Light of Destruction possessed Sartorius sitting down on his white chair and looking down at his deck of Arcana Force cards on his white marble table and stopping at four cards, two trap cards known as The Material Lord and The Spiritual Lord, a spell card known as The Sky Lord, and finally, a ten-star monster card known as Arcana Force EX-The Light Ruler (4000/4000) with the monster card of the creature that the Light of Destruction summoned to try to defeat Sailor Cosmos (A/N: Refer to Chapter 9 for details).

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, evilly, “Soon, I shall conquer the `Chosen Duelists' once and for all and they shall finally the see the Light at last. However, I must plan this carefully as destiny desired.” He look at his Tarot card deck and it has three cards right side up, The Hierophant/The Prince Tarot card, The Wheel of Fate Tarot card, and The Devil Tarot card. Sartorius thinks in his mind, “Now, I know what I must do. In order to take down the `Chosen Duelists', I must start at the bottom with the weakest member of their group . . . namely Aster Phoenix and work my way up. And soon, they shall all see the Light and the universe shall finally be reborn!”

 

(Sometime later that day; in another area of Duel Academy)

 

Within the abandoned laboratory where Wheeler, the dueling monkey, was trained AKA tortured, we find none other than Zane Truesdale with two suitcases and a duel disk with his dueling deck attached to his left wrist looking around the area and giving a dark sick smile on his lips.

 

Zane says, with a low dark sly tone, “Perfect. This shall be the excellent place for my plans.” Zane says, with a dark sick smile, “Okay, Jaden, it is time for you and I to finish what I started at my graduation duel and to see if you are ready to take on that alien force within Sartorius.”

 

(On the meanwhile; in another area of Academy Island)

 

Within another area of Duel Academy, we find our Moon Princess preparing for another Shadow Game against a fearful female Society member while Seira, Rini, Darien, and the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts with five unconscious `former' Society members that Serena already beat. Serena and her SOL opponent have already started their duel and Serena, since she started the duel off, has already made it a Shadow Game with the two of them surrounded by a ring of dark flames, making both of them unable to escape, and the ground littered with wires filled with dark electric energy that will shock a duelist when she loses life-points.

 

Starting Scores:

Serena: 4000

Female SOL member: 4000

 

Serena draws one card from her deck and yells out, darkly, “Okay, dweeb, I think that I will start things off!” Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, darkly, “Okay, I play my Fake Hero spell card! Thanks to this card, I can summon one Elemental Hero from my hand to the field!” Serena puts one card on her duel disk and shouts out, “Now, I summon my Elemental Hero Neos in attack mode!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena then puts a card on her duel disk and she shouts out, darkly, “Next, I play my Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin in attack mode!” Just then Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin (600/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena yells out, in a dark strong tone, “Now, Contact Fusion!” The outer space theme appears in the sky, the two monsters leap into the sky while the monster cards returned her deck, and the two monsters combine in a bright light while Serena puts a fusion monster card from her fusion deck on her duel disk. Serena calls out, darkly, “Okay, dork, meet Elemental Hero Aqua Neos!” Out of the light, Elemental Hero Aqua Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena discards her Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth (1700/1600) monster card to the graveyard and she says, with a dark sly grin, “Now, I play his ability! I discard one card from my hand to destroy a random card in your hand!” Aqua Neos fires two beam of energy from its eyes and one card from her opponent's hand is hit causing it to vanish into her graveyard.

 

The female SOL member says, with a cold annoyed tone, “Hey!”

 

Serena puts one card in her Field Spell slot and she yells out, with a dark sly tone, “If you are angry about that, then you are going to like this: My Neo-Space Field spell!” Just then the field transforms into the aurora-like field of Neo-Space and Serena says, with a dark sly grin, “And thanks to this spell, my Aqua Neos gains five hundred attack points!” Aqua Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000! Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a dark sly grin, “I'll end my turn with a face-down card!”

 

The female SOL member shouts out, with a cold angered tone, “You are going to pay for that you witch!”

 

Serena says, with dark sly tone, “Then stop blabbing and come and get me!”

 

The female SOL member draws one card from her deck and yells out, with a cold annoyed tone, “Fine!” The female SOL member puts one card in the spell/trap slots and shouts out, “First off, I start off with Fulfillment of the Contact spell card! This card allows me to summon any Ritual Monster from my graveyard!”

 

Serena says, with a dark sly smile, “Hey, dork, did you forget that it comes with a price? Namely, eight hundred life-points, so, cough them up!” The female SOL member cries out in pain as she is shocked while she loses 800 life-points!

 

The female SOL member retorts, coldly, “So, what? Now, I play my Performance of the Sword!” Just then Performance of Sword (1950/1850) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Serena says, with a dark mocking tone, “Oh no! A belly dancer with blades, she is so scary!”

 

The female SOL member puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she calls out, with a cold nasty tone, “You won't be mocking her when I play Shrink spell card! This card cuts your alien freak's power in half!” Aqua Neos' stats reduce down from 3000/2000 to 1500/2000!

 

Serena pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, darkly, “Thank you, dork! I can play my Card of Last Will trap card!” Serena's face-down card is revealed to be the Card of Last Will trap card and Serena says, with a dark sly smile, “Now, since you decreased the power of my Aqua Neos, I get five new cards from my deck!” Serena draws five new cards from her deck and put them into her hand.

 

The female SOL member shouts out, coldly, “You will need them, wench! Performance of the Sword, crush her peon!” Performance of the Sword attacks Aqua Neos, slices him, and destroys him causing Serena to get shocked as she loses 450 life-points, but she doesn't even flinch unnerving the SOL member.

 

Seira asks, perplexed, “Why is Serena not getting hurt?”

 

Rini says, with a dark sly grin, “That's because she has the powers of the Black Crystal inside of her Auntie Seira.”

 

Seira says, with a sigh, “I'm not going to get used to this.”

 

Lita says, with a dark sly smile, “Don't worry, Seira, you will. Plenty of this stuff happens to us all the time.”

 

Seira says, with another sigh, “Oh, joy.”

 

The female SOL member puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a cold serious tone, “I'll end my turn with two face-down cards!”

 

Current Score:

Serena: 3550

Female SOL member: 3200

 

Serena says, with a dark sly grin while drawing one card, “Ha! That's a laugh!” Serena then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Now, I play my Machine Angel Ritual!” Serena discards Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600/1000) and Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800/1200) monster cards to the graveyard and puts one card on her duel disk, declaring, “Now, I send my Topaz Tiger and Sapphire Pegasus to the graveyard to summon my Cyber Angel Dakini!” Soon after, Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena yells out, with a dark sly smile, “Normally, she destroys one monster on your field and you choose that monster, but since you only have one, say goodbye! Dakini, do your stuff girlfriend!” Dakini gives a battle cry as she fires a beam at Performance of the Sword and destroys her with one powerful blast. Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, darkly, “However, I'm not done, yet! I play my Take Over Five spell card! Thanks to this spell card, I discard the top five cards from my deck!”

 

The female SOL member asks, perplexed, “What is the point of that?”

 

Serena draws the top five cards from his deck, she discards Miracle Fusion spell card, Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle (300/300), Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle (1400/800), Crystal Beast Emerald Turtle (600/2000), and Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat (1200/400) monsters cards to the graveyard, and she says, with dark sly tone, “Guess that your damn `Light' made you unable to see a good strategy when it is shown to you? Well, you will see it soon enough!” Serena then calls out, darkly, “Now Dakini, attack this dork directly!” Dakini then moves in to attack the female SOL member.

 

She pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, coldly, “I don't think so, Tsukino! I play my trap: Waboku!” The female SOL member's face-down proves to be the Waboku trap card and Dakini's attack is negated by three maidens causing the female SOL member to say, with a cold sly grin, “Ha! My trap card has made your attack useless like you!”

 

Serena puts the last card in her hand into the spell/trap slots and she calls out, darkly, “We will see about that! I'll end with a face-down!”

 

The female SOL member draws one card from her deck and shouts out, with a cold serious tone, “My move!” The female SOL member puts one card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, coldly, “I play my Pot of Greed and draw two more cards from my deck!” The female SOL member draws two more cards from her deck and she gives a cold sly smile on her lips. She puts one card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “I play the Ritual Spell card known as End of the World!” The female SOL member discards her Cosmo Queen (2900/2450) monster card and she says, with a cold sly smile while putting one card on her duel disk, “I discard my Cosmo Queen to summon the mighty Ruin, Queen of Oblivion in attack mode!” Just then Ruin, Queen of Oblivion (2300/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Serena says, with a dark sly smile, “Your monster seems to be lacking power!”

 

The female SOL member puts one card in the spell/trap slots and shouts out, with a cold smile, “Not for long, nonbeliever! I play my Axe of Despair equip spell card! Now, my Queen of Oblivion gains one thousand extra attack points!” Ruin's stats rise from 2300/2000 to 3300/2000! The female SOL member calls out, darkly, “Now, Queen of Oblivion, destroy her pathetic Dakini!” Ruin slashes Dakini in the chest causing her to cry out in pain as it is destroyed while Serena is shocked as she loses 600 life-points, but she doesn't even flinch from the shock. The female SOL member says, with a cold sly grin, “And when my Ruin destroys a monster in battle, she gets to attack again!”

 

Seira says, worriedly, “That's not good.”

 

Ami says, with a dark sly smile, “Don't worry, Seira. Serena's fine.”

 

Lita says, with a dark sly grin, “Yeah, that dork forgot her face-down card!”

 

The female SOL member shouts out, with a cold sly tone, “Ruin, attack her directly and show her the Light!”

 

When Ruin moves in to attack Serena, she pushes a button on her duel disk and yells out, darkly, “I don't think so, dork! I play my trap card: Rainbow's Gravity!” Serena's face-down card is revealed to be the Rainbow's Gravity trap card and Serena says, with dark sly grin, “Thanks to this trap card, when I have all seven Crystal Beasts in my graveyard, I get to summon Rainbow Dragon from my deck or graveyard regardless of summoning conditions and I have all seven Crystal Beasts in my grave, one from Aqua Neos' ability, two with my Ritual spell, and four more from my Take Over Five spell, and that means that you know who is here!” The female SOL member gasps in shock, a card comes out of Serena's deck, and she says, putting it on her duel disk, “Meet Rainbow Dragon!” Just then a burst of rainbow light comes to the field and Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) bursts out of the rainbow light in attack mode.

 

The female SOL member calls out, shocked, “Oh no!”

 

Serena shouts out, with a dark strong tone, “Rainbow Dragon, counterattack with Rainbow Refraction!” Rainbow Dragon fires a beam of rainbow energy at Ruin, vaporizing her, and the female SOL cries out in pain as she loses 700 life-points.

 

The female SOL member puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a groan, “I . . . end my turn.”

Serena draws one card from her deck and calls out, darkly, “So sad! Next, I play the ability of my Take Over Five in my graveyard! Since it is in my graveyard, I get one card during every Standby Phase!” Serena draws one card from her deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and calls out, “And it is my Dark Spell Regeneration! Now, I get to copy one spell card in the grave and I choose your Pot of Greed!” Serena draws two cards from her deck, puts another card in the spell/trap slots, and yells out, “Next, I play my Polymerization!” Serena discards her Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) monster card and calls out, with a dark smile, “Now, I fuse my Neos with my Rainbow Dragon to create my ultimate creature!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos appears on the field, goes into a fusion vortex with Rainbow Dragon, and Serena takes a fusion monster card from her fusion deck. Serena puts the fusion monster card on her duel disk and exclaims, darkly, “Now, dweeb, meet the monster of your demise! The all mighty Rainbow Neos!” Just then a burst of rainbow energy comes out of the fusion vortex and takes the form of Rainbow Neos (4500/3000-5000/3000) in attack mode.

 

The female SOL member winches slightly and she thinks, with a cold serious tone, “Why am I worried? When this wench attacks, my Mirror Force trap card will activate and she will be finished! And thanks to my Trap Jammer, she won't be able to stop my card, but then again, she only has one card! And even if she gets more cards, I will be ready for her! I finally fulfilled Destiny's designs! She is finished!”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Next, I play a face-down and activate Rainbow Neos' special ability: Beyond the Rainbow Hole!” All of the jewels on Rainbow Neos glow and Serena says, with a dark sly tone, “Confused? Well, it is simple for you, dork! By sacrificing my face-down, all spell and trap cards on your field are sent back to your deck!”

 

The female SOL yells out, horrified, “No!” Just then Serena's face-down card vanishes from the field and the female SOL member's face-down cards vanish back to her deck. The female SOL member says, in disbelief, “How can this be? I have Destiny on my side!”

 

Serena shouts out, with a dark strong tone, “Rainbow Neos, end this duel right now and attack with Rainbow Flare Stream!” Rainbow Neos' jewels glow with bright lights and launches streams of rainbow energy at the female SOL member causing her to cry out in pain as she is shocked from head to toe with dark electric energy as she loses 5000 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, the ring of dark flames, the wires, and the dueling holograms vanish from the field as the female SOL member collapses onto the ground on her back.

 

Serena takes a deep breath and she says, with a plain tone, “That's another day and another enemy to fight.”

 

Lita says, with a dark sly grin, “Way to go, Serena!”

 

Mina says, with a dark smile, “You sent that dork packing!”

 

Serena says, with a nod, “Thanks, guys.”

 

Seira asks them, in a curious tone, “Well, I haven't been a part of the team long, but isn't this a bit harsh?”

 

Serena tells Seira, with an understanding tone, “We can understand that you find this unnerving, but believe me, Seira, it is necessary. These are people that you can't reason against especially that alien freak possessing Sartorius, Seira. Personally, none of us, especially me, wants to do something like this.”

 

Seira says, with a shrug, “I can understand that Serena. They are just people that are too evil that you can't reason against them. You have to beat them to a pulp.”

 

Rei asks Ami, in a dark curious tone, “So, are there any other dorks around?”

 

Ami says, using her computer, “Not currently, Rei.”

 

Michelle says, plainly, “We should bring them back to the Slifer Red dorm where Botan is waiting with new uniforms for them.”

 

Amara says, with a nod, “They could be mistaken for Society Dorks if we heal them here.”

 

Mina asks, curiously, “Do you think that Sailor Teleport would work?”

 

Serena says, with a smile, “Good idea, Mina. There is no one around other than us!”

 

Lita yells out, excitedly, “Well, what are we waiting for?!” Soon after, Serena and Seira goes over to the unconscious former female SOL members and carries over to the others where they plan to transform and use Sailor Teleport to get them back to the Slifer Red dorm where they can get healed and get new clothes.

 

(Sometime later; within another area of Duel Academy)

 

In another area of Duel Academy, we find Kagome, Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, Kirara, and Shippo with Kagome having four unconscious male and two female SOL members around her and she gives a deep sigh from the work that she did.

 

Kagome says, with a dark plain tone, “And that ends that.”

 

Shippo says, with an amazed tone, “Oh, wow, Kagome! You took care of those white freaks in no time!”

 

Kagome says, with dark smile, “It was easy, Shippo! Once you get used to them, they aren't too hard to beat!”

 

Miroku says, with a serious tone, “Well, we had better get them back to be healed.”

 

Just then an evil male voice calls out, “You aren't going anyway.” Just then several explosions hit around the group and everyone looks to the source to see the surviving members of the Band of Seven, Ginkotsu, Suikotsu, and Bankotsu, in front of them.

 

Inuyasha yells out, with an annoyed tone, “Oh, great! You have to fight you three losers again!”

 

Suikotsu shouts out, with an annoyed tone, “Loser, huh?! You've got a lot of nerve half-breed!”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “You really think that this is going to be the last time that we fought, Inuyasha?! Think again! This time, we've got a surprise of you!”

 

Inuyasha says, with a sly grin, “Ha! You pathetic bunch of weaklings are going to surprise us? What? By giving up and finally resting in pieces you overgrown corpses?”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin while glowing a dark violet, “No! This!” Just then dark violet and black starts to sweep closer to our heroes and heroines and Kagome gasps in shock, knowing exactly what this dark power is.

 

Kagome yells out, stunned, “That's impossible! How does the Band of Seven get their hands on Shadow Powers?”

 

Ginkotsu says, with a laugh, “Wouldn't you like to know?”

 

Shippo asks, worriedly, “What do we do now, Kagome?”

 

Kagome tells Sango, Miroku, and Shippo, “The three of you take those former Society Dorks out of here and get them to the Slifer Red dorm. Inuyasha and I will stay behind.”

 

Sango yells out, worriedly, “Kagome, you and Inuyasha can't fight them alone!”

 

Kagome says, seriously, “We don't have a choice! Inuyasha has incredible power to back me up and I'm a Sailor Scout with experience using Shadow Powers as well as fighting them! Plus, we need to get them out of here because these people can't run in their state. The Band of Seven could use them as shields!”

 

Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “You heard her! Get the heck out of here right now or I will kick you out!”

 

Miroku says, with a serious tone, “I hate to say it Miroku, but they have a point. If we have to people these people that Kagome freed from the control of the Light of Destruction, we will be in a bad position.”

 

Sango sighs and she says, solemnly, “Okay, but be careful.”

 

Kagome says, with a nod, “Right.” Immediately, Sango and Miroku get on Kirara with carrying four of the SOL members while Shippo uses his fox magic to create toy-like carriers to carry the other three and all of them race away.

 

Shippo says, worriedly, “Good luck, Kagome.”

 

As the shadows surround Kagome and Inuyasha, Kagome takes out her henshin wand and she says, lowly, “It is time to go to work.”

 

“Twilight Eternal Star Power, Make-up!”

 

Soon after, Kagome's henshin wand blazes with light, her fuku is torn away, and stars and ribbons wrap around her form turning into a sailor fuku. After her transformation is complete, Twilight Eternal Sailor Star replaces Kagome Higurashi in front of the three surviving Band of Seven members.

 

Ginkotsu says, with a sneer, “Do you really think that little transformation will help you, girl?”

 

Sailor Star says, preparing her bow for battle, “We'll see about that!”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “We shall see indeed, little miko. We've got new tricks, too!” Just then out of the ground multiple zombie monsters like Dragon Zombie (1600/0), Armored Zombie (1500/0), Giant Axe Mummy (1700/2000), Magical Ghost (1300/1400), and Dokurorider (1900/1850) come out of the ground.

 

Sailor Star yelps out in shock and exclaims, realizing quickly, “Wait a minute! Those are Zombie-type Duel Monsters!”

 

Ginkotsu says, with a evil sly tone, “And that's not all!” Just then Fiend type monsters like Earl of Demise (2000/700), Legendary Fiend (1500/1800), Giant Orc (2200/0), many Goblin Elite Attack Force (2200/1500), Zera the Mant (2800/2300), Zoa (2600/1900, and all of the Dark World monsters.

 

Inuyasha asks Sailor Star, “More Shadow Creatures?”

 

Sailor Star says, with a nod, “Yeah! They are Fiend-type monsters.” Just then various Machine-monsters make their appears including Machine King (2200/2000), Cyber Dinosaur (2500/1900), Cyber Falcon (1400/1200), Kinetic Soldier (1350/1800), Gadget Soldier (1800/2000), Barrel Dragon (2600/2200), and Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon (3000/2000) assembled together around Ginkotsu. Sailor Star says, with a nervous sweatdrop, “And those are Machine-type Duel Monsters and they don't use special powers or anything, but raw brute force.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a sneer, “Not surprising for that overgrown piece of scrap metal.”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “Just a little army that we assembled from the Shadow Realm and a few other Shadow Creature realms that we managed to find.”

 

Sailor Star says, with a serious tone, “This isn't good. They've got use totally outnumber with real-life Duel Monsters!”

 

Inuyasha says, with a sly grin, “So, what?! I'll cut down them with my blade just the same!” Soon after, Inuyasha takes out his Tessaiga and prepares to battle the army against them.

 

Sailor Star says, seriously, “Inuyasha, they are Duel Monsters, not demons!”

 

Inuyasha retorts, “Yeah, so?”

 

Sailor Star replies, with a serious tone, “You won't know how Tessaiga will react to their attacks!”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “You had better listen to your little wench because she does have a point! But then again, you won't be able to avoid this!” Bankotsu says, with an evil sly smile, “Now, attack!” Immediately, without hesitation, the army of Duel Monsters launches their attacks right at Sailor Star and Inuyasha. The machine monster launch rockets, missiles, fire guns, and/or lasers right at Inuyasha and Sailor Star. Sailor Star flies up into the sky to avoid the attacks and Inuyasha manages to leap out of the way of the attacks which cause multiple explosions all around creating a lot of small craters and brunt ground in the area.

 

Inuyasha shouts out, with a serious tone, “My turn now!”

 

“Wind Scar!”

 

Inuyasha swings his sword down and launches the powerful wind that's Tessaiga's typical attack and the attack rips into the army of Duel Monsters, taking out 15 Zombie-type monsters, 8 Machine-type monsters, and 10 Fiend-type monsters, but there were plenty more to come. Sailor Star fires multiple energy arrows from her bow that takes out another 12 monsters, 4 Fiend-types, 6 Zombie-types, and 2 Machine-type monsters. However, the numbers of monster sent against were too much from Sailor Star and Inuyasha to handle alone. They manage to keep the Duel Monster army at bay for four minutes, but soon enough, they were getting worn out. By this time, Sailor Star's fuku has several rips in it and Inuyasha's kimono has multiple tears and three good sized holes in it with the two of them dripping sweat from their heads and breathing heavily as they are beginning to get exhausted from the battle.

 

Sailor Star says, seriously, “There are just too many of them! Every one that we take down, several or more take their place!”

 

Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “So, what?! We just take them down again!”

 

Sailor Star says, with a serious tone, “Inuyasha, please! Be reasonable here! There are just too many to fight alone!”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “You had better listen your little witch, half-breed! She has a point! You might do well against us and demons back in our era, but these are Shadow Creatures that come from millennia in the past and have been also reborn in this world of your miko's time! This isn't like the battles that you fought before!”

 

Inuyasha says, with a strong and confident tone, “Fine! You may have a point there! But we'll still win! It will just be more difficult!”

 

Suikotsu says, with an evil sly tone, “No, fool. You won't be win or living anymore!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Don't count on it, freak!” Just then multiple energy attacks the area of the Band of Seven and their army of Shadow Creatures destroying a good portion of them. Immediately, Sailor Star and Inuyasha turn to see Valkyrie Sailor Moon, Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse, Tuxedo Mask, Twilight Eternal Sailor Mini-Moon, and the other Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts arrive on the scene.

 

Inuyasha says, with his usual tone, “What kept you girls so long?!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon says, seriously, “We had a bit of situation of clearing to island of its `cult problem'.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, with a serious tone, “It's not an easy job, you know.”

 

Sailor Star says, with a smile, “Well, we are glad that you are here.”

 

Sailor Mercury looks at Ginkotsu and she says, curiously, “Wow. What a curious creature. He doesn't look human.”

 

Sailor Star says, with a serious tone, “He is human, Mercury. His name is Ginkotsu and he is one of the villains from the Feudal Era known as the Band of Seven that we battled. We told you about them.”

 

Sailor Venus says, with a serious tone, “Yeah, you said that they were seven dead evil warriors that we were revived by this Naraku guy until you and Inuyasha as well as your friends took care of them.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, seriously, “Until they returned from the dead with Naraku because of the imbalanced caused by the Light of Destruction. You told us that with the help of Yusuke and his group, you and Inuyasha took care of four of them.”

 

Sailor Saturn says, with a serious tone, “These must be the surviving three.”

 

Inuyasha says, with his usual tone, “No joke. They are a real pain so watch it.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a plain tone, “The `pain' part can be obviously seen Inuyasha.”

 

Sailor Mars says, with a serious tone, “No kidding, Pluto! They've got a whole army of Shadow Creatures!”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “Ha! Do you really think that a group of girls and weirdly dressed samurai shall help you?”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon shouts out, strongly, “Don't count your chickens before they hatched wiseguy! We're a lot more trouble than you think!”

 

Ginkotsu calls out, strongly, “We'll see little girl!” Soon after, Ginkotsu fires its weapon on Valkyrie Sailor Moon, but the Valkyrie Sailor Scout then creates an energy shield that negates the attack.

 

Bankotsu says, with a serious tone, “This girl is quite powerful.”

 

Suikotsu says, with a nasty sneer, “Yeah! But this little bitch is not going to make a joke of the Band of Seven!”

 

Sailor Uranus calls out, with a serious tone, “We will see about that freak!”

 

Sailor Star says, a bit nervously, “Um, we might have a problem with all of those Shadow Creatures in our way!”

 

Sailor Venus says, nervously as she sees the Zombie, Fiend, and Machine monsters, “Yeah. And some of them had to be ghosts and ghouls.”

 

Sailor Mars says, with a serious tone, “Suck it up, Venus! It's time to go to work!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon says, with a sly smile, “Taking care of those monsters won't be too much of problem!”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon asks, curiously, “What makes you so that?”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon summons a duel disk to her left wrist with her dueling deck inside, she draws three cards, and she says, with a sly grin, “This!” Valkyrie Sailor Moon puts the three cards on her duel disk and Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000), Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400), and Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) appear in front and around her.

 

Sailor Mercury says, with a sly smile, “That's right! With all of the duel and shadow energy around us, we can summon our monsters for real!” Sailor Mercury summons a duel disk with her dueling deck inside to her left wrist, takes three cards, puts them on her duel disk, and Cyber Laser Dragon (2400/1800), Cyber Ogre 2 (2600/1900), and Water Dragon (2800/2600).

 

Sailor Star says, with a sly grin, “Let me join in!” Sailor Star summons a duel disk that has her dueling deck inside, draws three cards from her deck, and she puts them on her duel disk causing Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon (3000/2500), Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400/2000), and Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End (3000/2500).

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon says, with a sly smile, “Now, the odds are looking more even.”

 

Suikotsu shouts out, strongly, “We'll see about that!” Immediately, without another word needed to be said, the battle resumes with the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts aiding Sailor Star and Inuyasha with some Duel Monsters of their own. But this time, with the hanyou Moon Princess, the new Valkyrie Sailor Soldier, and the Duel Monsters that were summoned, the battle has turned in their favor. Neos destroyed plenty of the lesser zombie monsters and Rainbow Dragon took care of the rest with Cyber Laser Dragon uses its special ability to take out the higher power Machine monsters while Water Dragon and Cyber Ogre 2 take care of them in a more `physical manner'.

 

Inuyasha nearly gets hits by an attack from Zera the Mant and Sailor Star shouts out, “Shining Dragon, attack! Destroy that fiend with Shining Neutron Blast!” Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon fires a beam of electrical power at Zera the Mant and destroying it.

 

Inuyasha says, with a snort, “I could have handled it.”

 

Sailor Star thinks in her mind, with a sly smile, “Same old Inuyasha.” Soon after, the battle continues in earnest and soon enough, we find Ginkotsu firing multiple shots with his weapons at Sailor Mercury, Sailor Saturn, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune, but they are easily dodging and flying out of the way, which enrages the cyborg-like creature.

 

Ginkotsu yells out, angrily, “Hold still!”

 

Sailor Saturn replies, nervously, “I don't think so!”

 

Sailor Neptune has her right hand behind her back and cries out, “Hey!”

 

Ginkotsu calls out, strongly, “Die!” He fires his weapons at Sailor Neptune and she takes her right hand out of her back to reveal her Aqua Mirror.

 

“Submarine Reflection!”

 

Sailor Neptune's Aqua Mirror creates a blue aura of reflecting energy and Ginkotsu's attacks are reflected right back at him, much to his surprise. He cries out in pain as his own weapons slam into him with terrific force.

 

Bankotsu sees this and he says, surprised, “How did she do that?!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon's voice booms, “Like this!” Bankotsu then looks and moves away to dodge a sword attack from Valkyrie Sailor Moon.

 

Bankotsu draws his huge sword and yells out, angrily, “You think that you can defeat me! Take this!” Bankotsu swings his sword down, but Valkyrie Sailor Moon manages to block it, but then Bankotsu sees an opening causing him to jump back and swing lower at Valkyrie Sailor Moon's lower chest and upper legs, but several dark violet roses thrown at his face force Bankotsu to stop his attack and leap back.

 

Soon after, Tuxedo Mask goes beside Valkyrie Sailor Moon and she says, with a warm smile, “Thank you, love.”

 

Tuxedo Mask replies, with a warm smile, “No problem.”

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil mocking tone, “How sweet. You, two, can die in each other's blood!” Soon after, Bankotsu begins an intense close range fight with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask.

 

Suikotsu is battling against Sailor Star, Sailor Mini-Moon, and Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse and Sailor Star asks, curiously, “Where are your guardians, Rini?”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon says, with a sly grin, “Preparing a special surprise.”

 

Sailor Star asks Sailor Mini-Moon, perplexed, “Huh?”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse replies, with a sly smile, “Don't ask.”

 

Suikotsu yells out, strongly, “Prepare whatever you like, you can't beat me!”

 

Just then a familiar female child-like voice calls out, “Oh, yeah?!” Just then four large spheres, one blue, one green, one red, and one yellow, slam into him and Suikotsu is trapped in a large blob of gum-like material.

 

Sailor Star asks, perplexed, “What the?!” Soon after, the four members of the Sailor Quartet float down besides Sailor Mini-Moon.

 

Sailor Pallas says, with a sly smile, “Looks like you are in a sticky situation.”

 

Sailor Vesta says, with a sly smile, “It is a good thing that we had a few tricks from our days as the Amazon Quartet.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, with a nod, “Well, I will admit that they come in handy.”

 

Suikotsu says, with an angry tone, “You won't get away with this!”

 

Sailor Star yells out, “Don't count on it! You're done pal!”

 

“Starlight Purity Arrow!”

 

Sailor Star fires an energy arrow right at Suikotsu that becomes surrounded by golden energy and rainbow stars that slams into Suikotsu and he screams out in extreme pain and agony as he vaporizes into nothingness soon after. Just then all of the Fiend-type monsters vanish from view.

 

Sailor Juno asks, perplexed, “Where did all of the zombies get to?”

 

Sailor Mercury calls out, with a smile, “Ah! That's it! All of the Duel Monsters are connected to the Band of Seven! We defeat the Band of Seven and the monsters are finished!”

 

Sailor Neptune leaps away from two attacks from two KA-2 Des Scissors (1000/1000) and she says, with a nod, “So, we take them out.”

 

Ginkotsu yells out, with an evil laugh, “I would like to see you try!” Ginkotsu launches another barrage from his weapons at our heroes and heroines.

 

“Wind Scar!”

 

Inuyasha slams his sword into the ground and creates a huge wind that destroys/negates all of Ginkotsu's attacks right at them.

 

Ginkotsu shouts out, angrily, “You are going to pay for that!”

 

Sailor Mars shouts out, strongly, “I don't think so, you overgrown rust bucket!”

 

“Mars Phoenix Firestorm!”

 

Sailor Mars launches a lot of flames into the air that transform into a huge phoenix that dives down on Ginkotsu and roars out in extreme pain and agony as he is turned into dust and molten metal. After he is destroyed, all of the Machine-type Duel Monsters vanish into nothingness.

 

Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “Two down and one to go!” Finally, joining Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, the two of them are fighting Bankotsu, who is using his huge sword, against the couple with Valkyrie Sailor Moon using her sword while Tuxedo Mask is using his cane.

 

Bankotsu says, with an evil sly grin, “Ha! You might be dressed strangely for warriors, but you can't beat me!”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, with a serious tone, “At least we follow the code of the warriors!”

 

Bankotsu says, with a snarl, “Bah! The code of the warriors? Nothing matters in life expect for victory, fool!” Bankotsu then raises his sword to attack, but Tuxedo Mask took this moment to launch three black roses into his face and knocking him off balance.

 

Tuxedo Mask shouts out, strongly, “Sailor Moon, now!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon yells out, with a nod, “Right!” Valkyrie Sailor Moon's brooch and sword begins to glow as she prepares to attack.

 

“Moon Crystallite Dragon!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal sends energy into her blade and she creates a powerful silver crystal-like dragon that heads right for Bankotsu causing him to scream out in extreme pain and agony as the silver purifying energy totally vaporizes him and his evil powers. Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “When I'm done with him, he is going to wish that he stayed dead!”

 

Sailor Star tells Inuyasha, with a sigh, “Inuyasha, he is not going to be easy to kill.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a sly smile, “No duh, Kagome. When he is ever easy, you know? But I like it that way. It will give me pleasure to cut him in half with my Tessaiga.”

 

Sailor Star says, with a smile, “Oh, Inuyasha . . .”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon tells the Sailor Quartet, “Nice work, girls!”

 

The Sailor Quartet reply in unison, “Thank you, princess!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse asks, curiously, “So, what do we do now?”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “How about a duel between you and me? You said that you are a good duelist yourself.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse replies, nervously, “Me?! Sure, I'm a good duelist, but compared to you with your use of Elemental Heroes, Neo-Spacians, Cyber Angels, and Crystal Beasts, I don't think that I can compare to you.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “Come on, Seira, it won't be a duel of life and death. It will be fun and personally, I need a `regular' duel once and in awhile.”

 

Sailor Neptune says, with her usual smile, “I think that all of us are getting tried of Shadow Games or duels where your very free will is at stake.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a sly grin, “Okay, but don't underestimate me, Serena. You and Jay may be family, but when I duel, I give it my all.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “Thanks, Seira.”

 

Sailor Star asks, curiously, “Can Inuyasha and I come along?”

 

Inuyasha asks, perplexed, “Why should we come along? We've got work to do!”

 

Sailor Star asks, in a pleading tone, “Inuyasha, please . . .”

 

Inuyasha says, with a sigh, “All right! All right! Enough with the guilt trip! We'll watch this duel and take a break.” Inuyasha thinks in his mind, seriously, “Since playing these Shadow Games and playing, we are going to need to gauge her skills and see if we have what it takes!”

 

Sailor Star says, with a smile, “We should meet up with Sango and the others. Inuyasha and I sent them away with more former white dorks to get themselves healed and get their original uniforms.”

 

Sailor Mercury says, with a nod, “Right.” Soon after, our heroes and heroines head out to meet out with Sailor Star's and Inuyasha's friends/allies in order to make sure that they are okay before our twin Moon daughter prepare to duel each other to get their minds off of this `war'.

 

(Later that day; within another area of Duel Academy)

 

In front of the abandoned laboratory, we find Zane Truesdale, in his `Hell Kaiser' persona, with his arms crossed and his eyes closed standing in front of the entrance waiting for something or someone. Just then he hears footsteps coming towards him and he opens his eyes to see Jaden, Alexis, Bastion, Syrus, Tyranno, Atticus, Jasmine, Mindy, Yusuke, Keiko, Hikari, Kuwabara, Yukina, Hiei, and Kurama walking towards them.

 

Syrus asks, curiously, “Zane, why did you call all of us here?”

 

Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “Actually, Syi, I've found something that all of you should see. Follow me.”

 

Atticus asks, curiously, “What do you mean?”

 

Zane says, with his dark sick smile, “You'll see.” Soon after, Zane turns and goes into the abandoned laboratory.

 

Keiko asks, curiously, “What is this place?”

 

Mindy asks, curiously, “Isn't this the former laboratory where those rotten scientists did those rotten experiments on Wheeler, the dueling monkey?”

 

Jasmine says, with a shutter, “Don't remind me, Mindy!”

 

Tyranno asks, curiously, “Dueling monkey?”

 

Syrus says, with a nod, “Yep! That was one weird episode!”

 

Alexis says, with a plain tone, “It took place during Jay's and our first year in Duel Academy.”

 

Keiko asks, curiously, “I wonder: What Joey-sempai would think if he heard about this?”

 

Atticus says, with a sly smile, “From what we know, Kei, he might yell out and screaming in anger.”

 

Jaden says, with a sly grin, “I guess so.”

 

Kuwabara asks, perplexed, “But why does Zane want us to look at here?”

 

Tyranno responds, perplexed, “Beats me, private. I wish I knew.”

 

Kurama thinks in his mind, with a serious tone, “I'm really not sure about this. Zane Truesdale has been quite perplexing type since his `transformation' into his new `Hell Kaiser' persona.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, in a whisper, “Jay, I'm not sure about this.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Come on, Lex. I'm sure that Zane wouldn't do anything against us. He is on our side after all.”

 

Syrus thinks in his mind, curiously, “I'm not sure about that Jay. Ever since my bro changed, I'm not sure about what he is going to do.” As our heroes and heroines entered the abandoned laboratory, plenty of them were suspicious of Zane's intentions.

 

(Sometime later; deep within the abandoned laboratory)

 

Deep inside of the laboratory, we find our group reaching the top of the steps to a circular platform used as a helicopter pad where there are two suitcases on one side of the circular platform. Our heroes and heroines are curiously looking around the area and finding of nothing of importance, Yusuke gives a moan of annoyance.

 

Yusuke yells out, annoyed, “Hey, Zane, what's the big idea of dragging us here? We've got through an artificial forest and battling plenty of nasty creatures gathered around the world in order for you to drag us down here.”

 

Kuwabara says, with an annoyed tone, “What's the big idea?!”

 

Zane takes out a small remote control and he says, with a dark sly smile, “This is the idea, Kuwabara.” Just then Zane pushes the button on the remote control and the roof of the room containing the platform open up and the platform rise into the air.

 

Mindy asks, perplexed, “What's going on here?!”

 

Jasmine says, seriously, “I think that we are going to find out!” Soon after, the platform raises high into the air and our heroes and heroines look to see the main building of Duel Academy to the upper right side.

 

Tyranno says, with a serious tone, “Duel Academy at twelve o' clock!”

 

When the platform stops going high into the air, Hikari asks, perplexed, “Zane, what's going on here?”

 

Zane says, with a dark serious tone, “Simple. Jaden and I are going to duel.”

 

Jaden asks, perplexed, “Huh? But why all this?”

 

Zane says, with a dark sick smile, “Because we're not going to be dueling for fun and there is no way for you to get out of this!” Zane opens the two cases to reveal two sets of three shackles used in the Underground Duels.

 

Our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Alexis yells out, shocked, “Zane, are you insane?!”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “Bro, what are you thinking?”

 

Zane says, with a dark serious tone, “Two things, Syi! One: For me to get my rematch against Jaden! And two: To see if he is ready for the battle with that alien freak!”

 

Keiko asks, perplexed, “What do you mean?”

 

Zane tells Jaden, with a dark serious tone, “Simple, I don't think that Jaden is ready for him! You think that freak is going to allow for a simple duel?! Remember the battle when he unleashed his might against that `royal sister' of yours! He was powerful, deadly, and ruthlessly! You barely won that battle and even though we're stronger, do you think that he will make an easy duel?!”

 

Hiei says, with a plain tone, “You have to admit that the human has a point. The Light of Destruction won't be easy to defeat even in a duel. He might make it into a version of your Shadow Games.”

 

Zane says, with a dark serious tone, “One that we don't have `immunity' from! I say that you have had it easy with these white dorks since all of us have had the edge! But this time, it is time for you to experience a true `hard-core' duel!”

 

Atticus yells out, seriously, “But dude, Jaden might get hurt!”

 

Zane says, with a dark sick smile and dark serious tone, “That's the point! In order to truly be ready to duel the Light of Destruction, he needs to be ready to endure all types of pain because most likely that what that alien freak will give Jaden!”

 

Kurama says, with a serious tone, “Even through I don't agree with Zane's methods, I do agree that the Light of Destruction might do that. He won't give Jaden and the rest of the `Chosen Duelists' an easy duel.”

 

Yusuke says, with a serious tone, “He has a good point.”

 

Jaden then takes three steps forward and takes out a duel disk from his sub-space pocket causing him to say, seriously, “Okay, Zane, get your game on!”

 

Alexis states, worriedly, “Jaden, don't! You could get hurt!”

 

Jaden says, with a confident smile, “Don't worry, Alexis! I'm sure that I can handle this after all that we've been through!”

 

Zane toss Jaden three of the shackles and he says, with a dark sick smile, “We'll see about that, Jaden!” Soon after, Zane attached a duel disk to his left wrist, puts in his dueling deck, and attached the shackles to his neck and upper arms while Jaden puts his deck in his duel disk and does the same with the shackles.

 

Syrus and Hikari think in their minds at the same time, worriedly, “Oh, Zane, what are you thinking?” The two of them activate their duel disks, their life-point counters displaying 4000 life-points each, and they draw five cards from their decks.

 

Zane and Jaden yell out in unison, “Duel!”

Zane draws one card from his deck and calls out, strongly and darkly, “I'll start this duel off!” Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “I play my Graceful Charity! Now, I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand!” Zane draws three cards from his deck, discards his Cyber Phoenix (1200/1600) and Cyber Ouroboros (0/0) monster cards to the graveyard, and he says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Now, I play my Proto-Cyber Dragon!” Just then Proto-Cyber Dragon (1100/600) comes to the field in attack mode and Zane says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play my Overload Fusion! Thanks to this spell card, I can remove Fusion Material Monsters from my field and graveyard from play to summon a Dark Machine-type Fusion Monster!” Zane takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck and calls out, “And now, I remove my Proto-Cyber, Cyber Phoenix, and Cyber Ouroboros from play to summon this: Chimeratech Overdragon!” The images of Cyber Phoenix and Cyber Ouroboros appear on the field, vanish with Proto-Cyber Dragon as the three cards are put in Zane's pockets, and Zane puts the fusion monster card on his duel disk causing Chimeratech Overdragon (2400/2400) with three heads to appear on the field in attack mode. Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “Now, my Overdragon gains eight hundred attack points for every monster used in the fusion and it can attack you up to three times!”

 

Jaden asks, nervously, “Three times?”

 

Zane discards Infernal Dragon (2000/0) monster card to the graveyard and he says, with a dark serious tone, “Not only that, but since my Ouroboros was removed from play for the fusion, its ability activates! Now, I discard one card from my hand and draw!” Zane draws one card from his deck, puts one card into his spell/trap slots, and yells out, “Now, I play Future Fusion!” Zane takes his deck from his duel disk, takes three cards from his deck, and he says, with a dark sick smile discarding three Cyber Dragon (2100/1600 X 3) monster cards, “With this card, I can send Fusion Material Monsters from my deck to the graveyard and during my second Standby Phase, I can summon that fusion monster! And I choose Cyber End Dragon!”

 

Kuwabara yells out, shocked, “Oh, geez! Zane isn't fooling around!”

 

Hiei says, with a plain tone, “That's obvious to see, fool.”

 

Zane tells Jaden, with a dark serious tone, “Now, let's see what you've got, Jaden!”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Okay, Zane, time to get your game on!” Jaden draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and he yells out, “I play Fake Hero! With this spell card, I can summon one Elemental Hero from my hand to the field, but it can't attack and it returns to my hand at the End Phase of this turn!” Jaden puts one card on his duel disk and yells out, “Now, I summon my Elemental Hero Neos!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden puts one card on his duel disk and shouts out, “Next, I play my Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab in attack mode!” Just then Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab (500/500-900/500) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then yells out, “Okay, guys, Contact Fusion!” The outer space theme appears in the sky, the two monsters leap into the sky as their monster cards are returned to Jaden's deck, they combine in a bright light, and Jaden takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck. Jaden puts the fusion monster card on his duel disk and shouts out, “Come on out, Elemental Hero Flare Neos!” Just then out of the bright light, Elemental Hero Flare Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode. The Field Spell slot of Jaden's duel disk opens up, he puts one card on his duel disk, and calls out, when the slot closes, “Next, to mix things up, I play my Neo-Space Field Spell!” Just then the field transforms into an aurora-color outer space theme and Jaden says, with a smile, “Thanks to my Flare Neos' special ability, he gets four hundred attack points for every spell and trap card on the field. Since there are two, he gets eight hundred extra points, but my Field Spell gives him a five hundred attack point boost as well!” Flare Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 3800/2000! Jaden then shouts out, “Okay, Flare Neos, attack his Overdragon with Flare Storm!” Flare Neos launches flames from his twos hands and blasts Chimeratech Overdragon into molten metal causing Zane to lose 1400 life-points. His shackles activate and he winches slightly from the shock, but the shock doesn't really faze him. Jaden says, with a smile, “It's all you, Zane!”

Keiko says, with a nod, “I agree, Hassleberry.”

 

Zane says, drawing one card from his deck, “Not bad, Jaden. But this duel is far from over!” Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “I play Pot of Greed and draw two cards from my deck!” Zane draws two cards, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and he yells out, with a dark sick smile, “Now, I play Polymerization!” Zane discards his Cyber Dark Horn (800/800), Cyber Dark Edge, and Cyber Dark Keel (800/800) monster cards to the graveyard and he calls out, as he takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, “Now, I fuse my Dark Horn, Dark Edge, and Dark Keel to form Cyber Dark Dragon!” Zane puts the fusion monster card on his duel disk, the three named monsters come to the field, and they go into a fusion vortex where Cyber Dark Dragon (1000/1000) comes to the field in attack mode out of the vortex. Zane's graveyard glows and he yells out, “Now, he gets to take one dragon monster from my deck and equip it to himself, so, that means that Cyber Dark Dragon's power intensifies!” Just then a beam of light comes out of Zane's graveyard, Infernal Dragon appears below Cyber Dark Dragon, Cyber Dark Dragon captures it, and Cyber Dark Dragon's stats rise from 1000/1000 to 3000/1000! Zane then says, with a dark sick smile, “And for every monster in my grave, Cyber Dark Dragon gains one hundred points and since I have seven more monsters…!” Just then Cyber Dark Dragon's stats rise from 3000/1000 to 3700/1000!

 

Jaden asks, with a curious tone, “Okay, but Neos is still strong by one hundred points. What's the point?”

 

Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he yells out, with a dark sly smile, “My Burial from a Different Dimension is the point, Jaden! Now, I return the three monsters that I removed from play to form my Overdragon back to the graveyard!” Zane takes the three monster cards out of his pocket and put them back in his graveyard slot.

 

Bastion says, stunned, “Oh no! That means that Cyber Dark Dragon will gain even more power!”

 

Zane says, with a dark sick smile, “Exactly!” Soon after, Cyber Dark Dragon's stats rise from 3700/1000 to 4000/1000! Zane then yells out, strongly, “Now, Dark Dragon, destroy his Flare Neos with Dark Cyber Stream!” Cyber Dark Dragon fires a dark beam of energy at Flare Neos that totally obliterates it and Jaden yells out in pain as his shackles activate shocking him as he loses 200 life-points.

 

Alexis asks, worriedly, “Are you okay, Jaden?”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “No worries, Alexis. I'm okay.”

 

Zane says, with a dark sick smile, “Not for long, Jaden, but you will see that soon enough! It's your move.”

Jaden thinks in his mind, seriously, “Yeah, no joke! I've got only one more turn before Cyber End Dragon comes around and it will be just as powerful Cyber Dark Dragon is right now!” Jaden draws one card from his deck and calls out, “Okay, Zane, I play my Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack mode!” Just then Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Zane says, with a dark sick smile, “That monster is no match for my Dark Dragon!”

 

Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, with a smile, “In attack points, but no matter how powerful Cyber Dark Dragon's attack points gets, its defense points stay the same! So, I play the equip spell card known as Spark Blaster!” Just then the blaster appears in Sparkman's right hand attached by wires to Sparkman's right arm. Jaden says, with a sly grin, “Now, my Blaster has three blasts and I change the mode of a monster for each of them! Now, I choose your Dark Dragon!” Sparkman fires a blast from its blaster and Cyber Dark Dragon switches from attack mode to defense mode! Jaden then yells out, with a sly smile, “Now, Sparkman, destroy Cyber Dark Dragon with Static Shockwave!” Sparkman fires a blast of electrical energy at Cyber Dark Dragon and destroys it, but since it was in defense mode, Zane doesn't lose any life-points.

 

Zane says, with a dark sneer, “You really think that little trick will save you?! Think again!”

 

Jaden puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “Well, someone is a bit sensitive. I'll throw down two face-downs and I'll end my turn!”

 

Zane draws one card from his deck and he says, with a dark sick smile, “And now, it is the moment that all you've waited for! Since it has been two turns, I can now summon my Cyber End Dragon!” Zane takes one card from his fusion deck, puts it on his duel disk, and just then a huge wind comes out while Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800) emerges from the ground in attack mode. Zane shouts out, with a dark smile, “Now, it is like old times isn't it?! If you don't remember, he is a reminder! Cyber End Dragon, Super Strident Blaze!” Cyber End Dragon fires a beam of blue energy from its three heads right at Sparkman!

 

Jaden shouts out, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I play my trap: Hero Shield!” Just then Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be a continuous trap card with a picture of Sparkman being shielded by an energy shield from an energy blast. Jaden says, with a serious tone, “And now, I equip this card to Sparkman and if Sparkman would be destroyed in battle, I can destroy this card instead and I get one card for every grand in damage that I take!” Soon after, an energy shield forms around Sparkman and Cyber End Dragon's attack slams into it causing Jaden to yell out in pain as he is shocked when he takes 2400 points of damage to his life-point, but thanks to his trap card, Sparkman is still on the field.

 

Syrus yells out, stunned, “Jay!”

 

Tyranno calls out, seriously, “Hang in there!”

 

Jaden says, breathing heavily, “Since I lost over two thousand life-points, I get two cards thanks to Hero Shield.” Jaden then draws two more cards from his deck.

 

Zane says, with a dark smile while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Good, Jaden. Now, this is what I wanted: A challenge! I knew that you wouldn't disappoint! Now, make your move!”

I give up five hundred life-points and I can fusion summon twice this turn!” Jaden winches in pain as he is shocked while his life-points drop by 500. Jaden discards his Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) monster cards to the graveyard, takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, and he says, with a smile, “First, I fuse my Avian and Burstinatrix to form Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!” Jaden puts the fusion monster card, Avian and Burstinatrix appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex, and out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100/1200) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, with a sly smile, “Then I fuse my Flame Wingman with Sparkman!” The two named monster on the field go into a fusion vortex, Jaden takes another fusion monster card from his fusion deck, and he puts it on his duel disk causing Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman (2500/2100) to appear on the field. Jaden then says, with a sly smile, “And since I've got five heroes in my grave, he gains fifteen hundred more attack points, thanks to his special ability!” Shining Flare Wingman's stats rise from 2500/2100 to 4000/2100!

 

Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “Your monster is only just as powerful as my Cyber End Dragon!”

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, “Not when I play my Soul Union trap card!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Soul Union trap card and Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Now, my Shining Flare Wingman gains attack points of one Elemental Hero in my graveyard and I choose my Flare Neos!” Just then Shining Flare Wingman's stats rise from 4000/2100 to 6500/2100!

 

Yusuke yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Jay!”

 

Kuwabara shouts out, excitedly, “Take it on home!”

 

Jaden calls out, strongly, “You heard them Flare Wingman! Attack with Solar Flare!” Shining Flare Wingman launches itself at Cyber End Dragon and slams into it, destroying it, and Zane yelps out in pain as he is shocked by the shackles as he loses 2500 life-points. Jaden says, with a smile, “Now, Shining Flare Wingman's special ability takes away 4000 life-points, the same as your Cyber End Dragon's attack power!” Shining Flare Wingman lands in front of Zane and it prepares to unleash its special ability.

 

Zane pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, in a dark strong tone, “I don't think so, Jaden! I play my trap: Damage Polarizer!” Zane's face-down card is revealed to be the Damage Polarizer counter trap card and a shield forms around Zane to protect him from Shining Flare Wingman. Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “I don't think that I need to explain this card. I'm protected from Shining Flare Wingman's ability and both of us get one card from our decks!”

 

Jaden and Zane draw one card from his deck and Jaden says, putting two cards in the spell/trap slots, “I'll end with two face-downs!” On the meanwhile, Shining Flare Wingman's stats reduce back down from 6500/2100 to 4000/2100, due to the effect of Soul Union ending.

Now, both of us have to draw from our decks until we have six cards in our hands!” Zane and Jaden draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands, he puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and exclaims, “Now, I play my Trap Booster Spell card! By discarding one card from my hand, I can play one trap card from my hand!” Zane discards Exploder Dragon (1000/0) from his hand to the graveyard, he puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and a hologram of Rebirth Judgment continuous trap card to appear on the field causing Zane to says, with a dark sly smile, “And I choose my Rebirth Judgment! Now, all monster cards in our graveyards are the same type as I declare and I choose dragons!” Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, with a dark sick smile, “Now, I play my Cyberdark Impact spell card! With this card, I return my Cyber Dark Horn, Cyber Dark Edge, and Cyber Dark Keel from my graveyard back to my deck in order to summon a fusion monster that you know!” The three named cards come out of Zane's graveyard, he puts them in his deck, and shuffles his deck. Zane takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck and he puts the card on his duel disk causing him to call out, “I summon my mighty Cyber Dark Dragon!” Just then Cyber Dark Dragon (1000/1000) returns to the field in attack mode. Zane then says, with a dark sick smile, “With every monster in my grave, my Dark Dragon gains one hundred attack points!” Cyber Dark Dragon's stats rise from 5000/1000 to 5900/1000!

 

Keiko says, worriedly, “This isn't good. Jaden has only nine hundred life-points and that dragon has enough power to take out nearly two thousand of his points.”

 

Alexis says, lowly and worriedly, “Jaden . . .”

 

Zane yells out, with a dark strong tone, “Cyber Dark Dragon, end this duel with Dark Cyber Stream!” Cyber Dark Dragon fires a dark energy beam right at Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman.

 

Syrus calls out, shocked, “Jaden!”

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and shouts out, with a sly smile, “I reveal my face-down: Battle Fusion!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Battle Fusion Quick-Spell card and Jaden says, with a sly grin, “Thanks to this card, my Flare Wingman gains the same powers as your Dark Dragon!” Shining Flare Wingman's stats rise from 4000/2100 to 9900/2100!

 

Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, with a dark sick smile, “Déjà vu, isn't it, Jaden? I play my Battle Fusion!” Cyber Dark Dragon's stats rise from 5900/1000 to 15,800/1000! Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “Game over, Jaden.”

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, “Not exactly, Zane! I play my final face-down: Dark Spell Regeneration!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Dark Spell Regeneration Quick-Spell card and Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Thanks to this card, I can copy any spell card in the grave and I choose Battle Fusion!” Zane gives a silent gasp of shock and Shining Flare Wingman's stats rise from 9900/2100 to 25,700/2100! Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Okay, Flare Wingman, end this!” Soon after, Flare Wingman leaps out through Cyber Dark Dragon's attack and slams into Cyber Dark Dragon destroying causing Zane to actually yelp out in pain as he is shocked as he loses 9900 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, the final holograms fade away and Zane collapses to his knees.

 

Hikari calls out, worriedly, “Zane!”

 

Jaden says, weakly, “That's game . . . Zane . . .” Soon after, Jaden falls to his knees in exhausted from the duel and the shocks that he got.

 

Alexis yells out, worriedly, “Jaden!” Soon after, Hikari goes over to Zane and Alexis goes over to Jaden. Alexis asks Jaden, worriedly, “Jay, are you okay?”

 

Jaden says, weakly, “Yeah, I'm okay . . . Lex . . . help Zane out first.”

 

Yusuke says, with a serious tone, “No joke! He has some answering to do!”

 

Kurama asks Yukina, “Yukina, if you would?”

 

Yukina says, with a nod, “Okay.” Soon after, Yukina goes over to Zane and uses her powers to heal him while Hikari gets the shackles off of him and Alexis does the same for Jaden.

 

When Yukina is done healing Zane, he says, with a dark sly smile, “Well, I didn't see that coming.”

 

Hikari asks Zane, concerned, “Zane, why did you do this?”

 

Kuwabara yells out, annoyed, “Yeah! Why did you put Jaden through all that?! He isn't the enemy!”

 

Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “He isn't, but the Light of Destruction is!” On the meanwhile, Yukina goes over to Jaden and starts to heal him as well. Zane says, with a dark serious tone, “Do you really think that it will give Jaden a fair and easy duel at all? After all of the problems that we had given it, the Light of Destruction will want revenge. If Jaden is going to face that evil freak, he will need to endure immense pain and agony because unlike me, the Light of Destruction will be less forgiving then even me.”

 

Kurama says, with a plain logical tone, “Even though I don't agree with his methods, Zane Truesdale brings a good point.”

 

Hiei says, with a nod, “However, personally, I agree with the human's methods. Jaden is going to need to endure a lot of pain because the Light of Destruction will give him a lot of pain when he duels Jaden or any one of you, `Chosen Duelists'.”

 

When Yukina is done healing Jaden, Jaden says, with a nod, “I hate to admit it, but you and Hiei are right, Kurama.”

 

Syrus asks, worriedly, “Jaden, are you okay?”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “Never better, Syi. Zane wasn't really trying to turn me into a pile of ash. He was trying to help me . . . in his own unusual way.”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “More like sadistic.”

 

Hikari thinks in her mind, with a sigh, “Oh, Zane, I guess I couldn't take all of the `Hell Kaiser' out of you.”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Well, even though I wished that the shackles that give you a nasty electrical shock were out of it, I've always wanted a rematch against you, Zane. It looks we have one win each, one loss each, and one draw between us.”

 

Zane says, with a dark sly smile, “It seems so.”

 

Jaden says, with a sly grin, “It looks like we are going to have to settle who the best is once and for all.”

 

Zane says, with a nod, “Yep.”

 

Alexis asks, with a serious tone, “But can you keep the shackles out of it?”

 

Kuwabara says, with a sigh, “Yeah, no kidding.”

 

Atticus says, with a nod, “I know how you feel, bro.”

 

Mindy asks, curiously, “How do we get down from here?”

 

Zane says, taking out the remote control, “This way.” Just then he pushes the button on the remote control and they slowly go down towards the ground as they prepare to rejoin the rest of the island after this incredible duel.

Inside of Obelisk Arena, we find Serena and Seira on the holographic platform with duel disk that having dueling deck inside attached to their left wrists while the rest of the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts, Darien, the Sailor Quartet in their civilian forms, Rini, and Kagome watching in the stands while Inuyasha guards the doors from any `interruptions'.

 

Serena asks Seira, “Ready for this Seira?”

 

Seira says, with a smile, “Well, I never thought that I would be dueling Sailor Moon, who happens to be my sister from long ago in a previous life.”

 

Serena says, with a sly grin, “Believe us, Seira, we have plenty of `strange experiences' ourselves. I could give you stories.”

 

Seira says, with a sly grin, “I'll bet.”

 

Serena asks Seira, “Okay, ready Seira?”

 

Seira says, with a nod, “Ready as I will ever be.” Serena and Seira then activate their duel disks, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points, and they draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Game on!” Serena and Seira yell out in unison as their duel begins.

Mina asks, perplexed, “What kind of monster is that?”

 

Ami replies, curiously, “It looks like a dark and sinister version of Warrior Dei Grepher!”

 

Seira puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and she says, “I'll end my turn with two cards face-down!”

 

Serena draws one card from her deck and she says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “First, I play my Advanced Ritual Art spell card! Now, I can summon any Ritual Monster from my hand to the field as long as I send an equal amount of Normal Monsters from my deck to the graveyard!” Serena takes out her deck, takes out two cards, puts her deck back in her duel disk, and she says, displaying her Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) and Oppressed People (400/2000) monster cards, “Now, I discard my Neos and Oppressed People to summon my Cyber Angel Dakini!” Serena discards the two monster cards, puts one card from her hand on her duel disk, and Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena says, with a sly grin, “And since my Dakini was successfully summoned to the field, I get to destroy a monster that you choose, but since you only have one monster . . . your dark version of Warrior Dei Grepher is gone!”

 

Seira pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, “Wrong, Serena! I play my Divine Wrath trap card!” Seira's face-down card is revealed to be the Divine Wrath trap card and Seira says, with a sly grin while discarding one card from her hand, “With this card, I can negate the effect of Dakini and destroy her by sacrificing one card in my hand!”

 

Serena says, stunned, “Oh boy.” Cyber Angel Dakini then gets struck from a lightning bolt from the sky and destroyed.

 

Seira then puts one card on her duel disk and yells out, with a sly grin, “However, Serena, your troubles are far from over! You see, the last card in my hand can by special summon when I play a counter trap card that negates your card effects and my Divine Wrath was one. So, I call forth my Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord!” Just then Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord (2800/2500), huge dark violet humanoid dragon monster with yellow eyes, dark blue jewels on its forehead, arms, and legs, and large metallic dragon wings coming out of its back, comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Lita yells out, stunned, “No way! Unbelievable!”

 

Amara says, with a serious tone, “Believe it, Lita. Not only did Seira get rid of one of Serena's monsters, but she summoned a powerful one with one move.”

 

Seira says, with a sly grin, “Actually, Amara-sensei, it is monsters, you mean. You see, when my Dark Dragon Lord is summoned by its effect, it has one of three abilities depending on what kind of card effect, monster, spell, or trap, that I negated and possibly destroyed the card. Since I negated a monster effect, I can summon one monster from my graveyard and I choose the one that I discarded: Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Just then Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Hotaru says, worriedly, “This isn't looking good for Serena-hime. One of her monster powerful monsters is destroyed and Seira-hime has already summoned two very powerful monsters.”

 

Serena says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Not bad, but I play my O-Oversoul! With this card, I can summon one Normal Elemental Hero in my graveyard! So, I bring back Elemental Hero Neos!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena puts another card on her duel disk and shouts out, “Next, I play my Crystal Beast Emerald Turtle in defense mode!” Soon after, a large emerald appears on the field and transforms into Crystal Beast Emerald Turtle (600/2000) in defense mode. Serena then yells out, strongly, “Neos, attack her Dark Grepher right now!” Neos leaps forward to attack Dark Grepher.

 

Seira pushes a button on her duel disk and shouts out, “Sorry, Serena, but I play my Draining Shield trap card!” Just then Seira's face-down card is revealed to be Draining Shield and when Neos' attack collides with the energy shield in front of Dark Grepher, Seira says, with a sly grin, “Thanks to this card, your Neos attack is negated and I gain life-points equal to his attack points!” Seira's life-points increase by 2500 extra points.

 

Serena puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a sigh, “I'll thrown these down and end my turn!”

Seira says, with a sly grin, “By the way, my Darknight gains one hundred attack points for every Dark monster in my grave and since I've got two, my Darknight Parshath gains two hundred extra attack points.” Darknight Parshath's stats rise from 1900/1400 to 2100/1400! Seira calls out, strongly, “Now, my Dark Dragon Lord, destroy his Neos with Rain of Destruction!” Van'Dalgyon roars as it sends a dark energy rain down on Neos and he roars out as the attack slams into him causing him to explode while Serena loses 300 life-points.

 

Serena pushes a button on her duel disk and she yells out, “I play my trap: Neo-Spacia Road!” Serena's face-down card is the Neo-Spacia Road trap card and she says, with a sly smile, “Since you destroyed Neos in battle, I can end the Battle Phase right now and draw one card!” Serena draws one more card from her deck and puts it into her hand.

 

Seira puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she says, “I'll end my turn with one card face-down!”

Serena puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Next, I play my Card of Sanctity spell card! Both of us have to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Serena and Seira draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands. Serena puts another card in the spell/trap slots and shouts out, “Next, I play my Take Over Five spell card! With this card, I can automatically discard the top five cards from my deck and during my Standby Phases, as long as this card remains in my graveyard, I can draw one extra card from my deck!” Serena draws the top five cards in her deck, discards her Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat (1200/400), Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth (1700/1600), Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600/1000), Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle (1400/800), and Elemental Hero Necroshade (1600/1800) monster cards to the graveyard, and she says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Next, I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode!” Just then a large sapphire jewel comes onto the field and transforms into Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800/1200) in defense mode. Serena says, with a sly grin, “Since he has been summoned to the field, I can put one Crystal Beast from my hand, deck, or graveyard in my spell and trap zones!” Just then a card comes out her deck and she puts it in her spell/trap slots causing a large unrefined ruby crystal to appear in her spell/trap zones. Serena says, with a sly grin, “And I choose Ruby! With her here, I can summon this creature since I sent four of my Crystal Beasts to my graveyard with my Take Over Five spell and giving me a total of seven! My Rainbow Dragon in attack mode!” Serena puts the card on her duel disk and Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) comes to the field in attack mode from a large rainbow.

 

Seira says, amazed, “Oh boy.”

 

Mina yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Serena!”

 

Serena yells out, strongly, “Attack Rainbow Dragon! Destroy her Van'Dalgyon with Rainbow Refraction!” Rainbow Dragon fires a rainbow beam of energy at Van'Dalgyon and destroys it in a huge explosion while costing Seira 1200 life-points.

 

Lita says, excitedly, “Sorry, Seira, but you are looking at one of the best duelists at this school!”

 

Hotaru says, with a smile, “I feel sorry for Seira, but Serena-hime is an excellent duelist after all.”

 

Serena puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a smile, “Sorry about that Seira, but that's the way the dragon crumbles. I'll play two face-downs and call it a turn!”

By discarding one monster card from my hand, one monster on my side of the field with a lower level can attack twice this turn!” Seira discards Tri-Horned Dragon (2850/2400) monster card to her graveyard and she says, with a sly grin, “Now, I discard my Tri-Horned Dragon to allow my Darknight Parshath to attack twice this turn and since my monster that I discard was a dragon, my Darkness Dragon gains three hundred more attack points!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats rise from 3000/2000 to 3300/2000! By discarding one card from my hand, I can play one trap card from my hand!” Seira discards her Dark Horus (3000/1800), a monster that's a black version of Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, monster card to the graveyard, puts one card from her hand into her spell/trap slots, and causes a hologram of continuous trap card with a picture of a warrior attacking another monster, but is blocked by some kind of mystical shield. Seira says, with a sly grin, “And I choose to play my Magic Reflector Armor-Metal Plus! Now, none of your spell card can affect my dragon and they are destroyed!”

 

Serena says, nervously, “That's not good.”

 

Seira says, with a sly grin, “It gets worse since I sent my Dark Horus to the grave and it's a dragon giving my Darkness Dragon more power!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats rise from 3300/2000 to 3600/2000! Seira puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a sly grin, “Then I play my Card of Demise! Now, I draw until I have five cards in my hand, but in five turns, my hand goes to the grave!” Seira draws five more cards from her deck, puts one card on her duel disk, and she yells out, “Now, I sacrifice my Darkness Dragon to summon the mighty Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!” Just then Darkness Dragon roars out as it is bathed in metallic light and it transforms into Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800/2400), a metallic version of Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, comes to the field in attack mode.

Seira puts yet another card in the spell/trap slots and she yells out, “Next, I play my Dragon Heart! During this turn, I can't Normal Summon a monster, but I can choose three dragon monsters from my deck and send them to my graveyard giving my Darkness Metal Dragon an extra one grand in attack point!” Seira takes out her deck, takes three cards from her deck, puts her deck back in her duel disk, and discards in her Red-Eyes Black Chick (800/500), Des Volstgalph (2200/1700), and Infernal Dragon (2000/0) monster cards to the graveyard causing Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's stats to rise from 4800/2400 to 5800/2400! Seira says, with a sly grin, “Plus, since three more dragons are in my grave, its gains twelve hundred more attack points and that's power!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's stats rise from 5800/2400 to 7000/2400! Seira then shouts out, strongly, “Darkness Metal Dragon, attack Rainbow Dragon with Darkness Metal Flare!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon fires a sphere of dark flame energy right at Rainbow Dragon.

 

Serena yells out, strongly, “I activate his ability! I give up my three Crystal Beasts on the field in order to boost Rainbow Dragon's power by three thousand! Now, go, Rainbow Overdrive!” Emerald Turtle turns into an emerald while Sapphire Pegasus turns into a sapphire jewel and they join the large ruby as they go into Rainbow Dragon causing it to roars as its stats rise from 4000/0 to 7000/0! Serena shouts out, strongly, “Counterattack with Rainbow Refraction!” Rainbow Dragon fires a rainbow energy beam to counter the attack from Darkness Metal Dragon and the two attacks collide mid-way causing a huge explosion as both monsters are destroyed!

 

Seira pushes a button on her duel disk and she yells out, strongly, “Now, I play my trap card: Red-Eyes Spirits!” Seira's face-down card is revealed to be the Red-Eyes Spirits trap card and Seira says, with a sly grin, “Thanks to this card, when a Red-Eyes monster is destroyed, I can summon it right back no matter what summoning conditions! So, come on back, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!” Just then Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800/2400-6000/2400) comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

Serena pushes a button on her duel disk and yells out, “And I play Rainbow Gravity!” Just then one of Serena's face-down cards is revealed to be the Rainbow Gravity trap card and she says, with a sly grin, “Since I have all seven Crystal Beasts in my grave, I can summon my Rainbow Dragon in attack mode!” Just then Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Seira says, with a confident smile, “It won't matter since my dragon has more power! Red-Eyes destroy her Rainbow Dragon again with Darkness Metal Flare!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon prepares to attack Rainbow Dragon again.

 

Serena pushes a button on her duel disk and yells out, with a sly smile, “Sorry, Seira, I play my Celebration of Creation trap card!” Another of Serena's face-down cards is revealed and it proves to be the Celebration of Creation trap card and Serena says, with a sly grin, “This trap activates when a monster is summoned by a spell or trap card and it ends the current turn right on the spot!”

 

Seira yells out, stunned, “No way!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon stops in its tracks since Seira's turn is automatically ended.

 

Serena draws one card from her deck and she says, with a sly grin, “Thanks to my Take Over Five, I get one more card from my deck!” Serena draws one more card from her deck and she says, with a sly grin, “And it is just what I need!” Serena pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, “Next, I play my face-down card! It is my Soul Resurrection trap card!” Serena's final face-down card is revealed to be the Soul Resurrection trap card and Serena says, with a smile, “Thanks to it, I can summon one Normal monster back from my grave in defense mode! My Neos shall do nicely!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in defense mode. Serena then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she says, slyly, “Next, I play my Polymerization spell card! With it, I fuse Rainbow Dragon with Elemental Hero Neos!” Just then a fusion vortex comes to the field and the two monsters combine in the vortex as Serena gets a fusion monster card from her fusion deck.

 

Rini says, amazed, “Momma is about to call out her strongest monster!”

 

Trista says, with a nod, “Indeed, Small Lady. This duel is about to end.”

 

Michelle asks, curiously, “How so?”

 

Trista says, with a smile, “If I know my princess, she has the final card in her hand to end this duel.”

 

Serena puts the fusion monster card on her duel disk and calls out, “And I play my Rainbow Neos!” Out of the fusion vortex, Rainbow Neos (4500/3000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Seira thinks in her mind, nervously, “Oh, boy! That's not good!”

 

Serena puts one card on her duel disk and yells out, “Then I summon my Cyber Gymnast in defense mode!” Just then Cyber Gymnast (800/1800) comes to the field in defense mode and Serena says, with a strong tone, “Next, I activate my Rainbow Neos' ability: Beyond the Rainbow Hole! Now, I sacrifice my Gymnast to send all monsters on your field back to your deck!” Just then Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Darknight Parshath vanish from Seira's field and the two cards are returned to her deck.

 

Mina shouts out, excitedly, “Okay, Serena, take it on home!”

 

Serena yells out, strongly, “Rainbow Neos, direct attack with Rainbow Flare Stream!” Soon after, all the jewels on Rainbow Neos launch their assault on Seira and she yelps out in shock as the attack takes away 4500 life-points ending the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, the holograms fade away and Seira sighs while crossing her arms across her chest.

 

Seira says, plainly, “Why am I not surprised by this? You are a Duel Academy student when I'm a `Goth' girl from the outside.”

 

Serena tells Seira, with a kind smile, “Hey, Seira, don't put yourself down like that! You really did great! You really surprised me with your opening combo on my first turn!”

 

Seira says, with a sly smile, “Yeah. It is a common one that I use with my Dark Dragon/Pure Darkness deck.”

 

Serena asks, with a smile, “I'm guessing that you mainly use Dark and Dragon monsters right?”

 

Seira retorts, with a sly tone, “How did you ever guess, sis?”

 

Rei says, with a smile, “Well, for once, we can really enjoy that duel.”

 

Kagome says, with a nod, “Yeah. With all of this `take over the world', `brainwashing', and `Chosen Duelists' like me being the only thing from universal oblivion. It is a nice change, for once.”

 

Mina says, with a smile, “Maybe we should go see how Jaden and the others are doing.”

 

Hotaru says, with a nod, “It's a good idea, Mina-chan.”

 

However, Inuyasha sniffs the air and he yells out, seriously, “Hold up, ladies! We've got company and it isn't the good idea! There is a huge amount of something nasty around here!”

 

Everyone's attention turns to Inuyasha and Kagome asks, curiously, “What do you mean, Inuyasha?”

 

Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “It seems similar to . . . to those `Black Moon' freaks that tried to kidnap that Moon Princess before!”

 

Darien and all of the girls gasp in shock and Lita yells out, seriously, “Where?”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Where? We are under your feet of course!” Just then a black portal forms around the dueling stage under Serena's and Seira's feet.

 

Serena grabs Seira and yells out, surprised, “Look out, Seira!” Serena immediately throws Seira out of the dueling ring and she screams as she drops into the portal where it closes behind her.

 

Darien and all of the girls call out, horrified, “Serena!”

 

Ami asks, perplexed, “What happened to her?” Just then an image of Prince Diamond appears above all of them.

 

Darien yells out, seriously, “Diamond! What did you do to her?!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “She is here with me. And she will be mine.”

 

Rei yells out, strongly, “You will never take her away from us!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly grin, “We shall see, Sailor Mars. She just needs some `persuasion' and we shall rule the Black Moon family side by side.”

 

Rini calls out, angrily, “Give mommy back!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Never, Small Lady. And soon, you will longer exist and she shall bare my children.” Prince Diamond gives an evil laugh as the image of him fades away.

 

Kagome asks, worriedly, “What do we do now?”

 

Amara says, with a serious tone, “We go find her, that's what!”

 

Ami says, with a serious tone, “We might need Jaden, Yusuke, and the others.”

 

Darien says, with a nod, “Their power added to ours will help out.”

 

VesVes says, annoyed, “Who does that jerk think who he is? Taking away somebody's true love like that!”

 

PallaPalla says, with a child-like pout, “He is just a big meanie.”

 

JunJun says, with a sly grin, “Well, let's teach him a lesson!” Soon after, Darien, Inuyasha, and the girls run out as quickly as they can to get to their friends and allies on their mission to rescue their princess.

 

(Within the Black Moon's headquarters; A short time soon after)

 

Lying down on a large King-sized bed and royal style bed, we find our Moon Princess moaning as she slowly opens her eyes and she looks around slightly to find herself lying down on the bed.

 

Serena asks, wearily, “What happened? Last thing, I remember was a portal opening below me and Seira's feet . . .” Serena gasps to remember what happened and tries to move her arms, but she feels her arms and legs are bound together and she looks down to see herself dress in a silver and black version of the dress that Prince Diamond dressed her in when she came to Crystal Tokyo during the attack of the Black Moon family with white angel wings coming out of the back of the dress. However, her hands and her legs were bound together back powerful black energy bands. Serena says, stunned, “What is this?! These bands around my arms and legs . . . they are draining my energy . . . barely even there . . .”

 

Prince Diamond's voice boom, “Forgive such crude methods, but you wouldn't have stayed there willing. The energy bands are used to negate your vast new spiritual and demonic energies.” Serena whips to the source of the voice to see Prince Diamond enter the room.

 

Serena asks, annoyed, “Diamond. What is the matter with you? What will it take to tell you that I won't be your queen?”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Interesting. You are very beautiful when you are angry like that and look at me with such defiance.”

 

Serena retorts, as Diamond walks over to her, “Forgive me if I don't take your compliments.” Serena uses her eyes to look around for her brooch and she sees it contained with a prismatic crystal.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly tone, “It won't work. The special crystal will contain the power of the evolved Silver Crystal. Without the Black Crystal, I had to take precautions to ensure that you shall be staying.” Prince Diamond's eyes glow and Serena yelps as she is frozen in place. Serena struggles to break the mental hold on her and Prince Diamond winches from Serena's struggles.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, strongly, “I've got to . . . I've got to break free . . . I've got to make him see reason or try to escape . . .”

 

Prince Diamond winch some more as Serena struggles more against his mental hold and he says, with a sly smile, “Interesting. You are even stronger than before and it isn't your new powers, it is your will and resolve. You have `grown up' a bit. It makes you all the more exquisite.” Prince Diamond then uses his powers to put Serena into a standing position, makes her face her, and he puts his right hand on her chin.

 

Serena tells Prince Diamond, “I won't help you rule the universe.”

 

Prince Diamond tells Serena, with a sly smile, “It doesn't even matter to me to my dear. You are the universe's great jewel and you shall be mine.” Serena is getting desperate and she gets an idea in her head causing her to get really embarrassed at the thought.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, embarrassed, “Oh, man! Serena can't you think of any worse ideas! Oh, well, I've got to try something to get him not to get interested in me anymore.” Serena tells Prince Diamond, defiantly, “I won't be yours, Prince Diamond. My love is only for Darien and . . . I'm not as pure as you think anymore. I've already given my womanhood to Darien!”

 

Prince Diamond yells out, surprised, “What?!”

 

Serena says, with a blush, “Yes, it's the truth. I love Darien with all my heart and that's why I fought that alien freak so hard to free him. I gave it my all and I gave myself totally to him because I love him and him alone.”

 

Prince Diamond tells Serena, with a sly grin, “If you are trying to make me disgusted with you, nice try. However, it is interesting to see that even you have a `dark side' my dear. Like I said before, you shall be mine!” Just then Prince Diamond's third hypnotic is revealed and blasts Serena causing her to cry out as Prince Diamond's mental attack pounds into her, but Serena struggles even more than before and resists even better than last time.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, as she is assault by Prince Diamond's hypnotic attack, “His mental attack . . . so strong . . . girls . . . Jaden . . . everyone . . . please hurry . . .!!”

 

(Sometime soon after; back at the Slifer Red dorm)

 

In front of the Slifer Red dorm, we find all of the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts in their Senshi forms, Sailor Mini-Moon and the Sailor Quartet, Tuxedo Mask, Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse, Sailor Sun, her four Sun Kingdom Senshi, Aries, Libra, Aquarius, and Leo, Solar Moon, Sailor Galaxy, Valkyrie Sailor Universe, Sailor Star, Inuyasha, Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei along with the rest of our heroes and heroines, who are assembled to the side, together as they plan to attack the Black Moon's headquarters to rescue the Moon Princess.

 

Sailor Mercury and Sailor Aquarius are using their computers to pinpoint Serena's location and Tuxedo Mask asks, a bit impatiently, “What's taking so long?”

 

Sailor Mars tells Tuxedo Mask, “Easy, Darien. I know that you are worried for her, but we can't teleport without getting a basic idea of her location.”

 

Sailor Aquarius says, with a serious tone, “We've got her!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse asks, curiously, “Are you sure?”

 

Sailor Mercury says, with a nod, “Thanks to the combined powers of our computer, we managed to get a basic location of the headquarters where Diamond is holding Serena.”

 

Yusuke says, seriously, “Well, what are we waiting for?! It's time to show that jerk that kidnapping is a major crime!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Universe says, with a serious tone, “Yusuke, we can't just barge in there! Most likely, they will be traps and stuff waiting for us!”

 

Sailor Star says, with a nod, “Keiko has a good point.”

 

Sailor Aquarius says, with a nod, “However, we might have to trip those traps since we can't exactly pinpoint Serena's location.”

 

Sailor Sun asks, curiously, “Plus, didn't you guys mention about that hypnotic eye that guy has?”

 

Kurama says, with a nod, “Alexis has a point. Prince Diamond might use what happened in an attempt to pierce her mental defense. Her experience might have made her strong, but they could prove the cracks in her mental defenses.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Universe says, with a nod, “Kurama might have a point.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, “Good point. We had better hurry.”

 

Sailor Mercury tells all of the non-Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts and Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse, “We're going to need your help. The defenses at their base are too strong for us alone.”

 

Sailor Sun says, with a nod, “No problem.” Soon after, Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Mini-Moon and the Sailor Quartet, Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, Inuyasha, and Solar Moon assemble around the rest of the Sailor Scouts as they form around and hold hands with each other as well as closing their eyes causing all of them to glow in their respective colors.

 

Syrus yells out, with a concerned look on his face, “Good luck, Jay!”

 

Solar Moon says, with a nod, “Don't worry, Syi. We'll get sis back.”

 

Tyranno says, with a serious tone, “Go get them, Sarge!” After half-a-minute more, all of them vanished through the power of Sailor Teleport.

 

Atticus says, with a sigh, “Be careful, Sissy.”

 

(Somewhere within the Black Moon's base on Duel Academy; A short time later)

 

Within another area of the Black Moon's base, we find Emerald and Sapphire in some kind of control room and Emerald has an annoyed look on her face.

 

Emerald thinks in her mind, annoyed, “Damn rotten Moon tart! What does Prince Diamond see in that little brat?! I'm so tempted to really squash that little Moon bitch myself, but my prince won't allow me and he will be displeased!”

 

Sapphire gives a sigh and he says, “I just don't get why Diamond keeps going after Sailor Moon like that. The obsession with the Queen of Crystal Tokyo is going to led us into ruin like that Doom Phantom did before.”

 

Emerald says, with an annoyed expression, “Something about that princess put our prince under some kind of spell and there is nothing that we can do to get rid of it.” Emerald thinks in her mind, with an angered tone, “But how I wish that I could do that!” Just then some kind of alarm system activates and Emerald asks, curiously, “What's going on here?”

 

Sapphire says, with a serious tone, “It looks like we have intruders.” Sapphire pushes down on crystals like buttons and view screens displays images of our heroes and heroines wandering the halls of their base.

 

Emerald says, with an annoyed tone, “Oh, great. It is the future king of Earth and those Sailor brats. And it looks like they have new members them.”

 

Sapphire says, with a serious tone, “That one with the sun sigil looks like the wife of the ruler of Golden Cairo.”

 

Emerald says, with a snarl, “So, it is that half-demon bitch. The beloved wife of Neo-Pharaoh Judai: Neo-Queen Arinna.”

 

Sapphire says, with a serious tone, “We have to be careful. There are many of them and we are so few.”

 

Emerald gives an evil laugh and she says, with an evil smile, “Ha! I'll show them what it means to mess with the Black Moon family!” Soon after, Emerald gets to her feet. When she gets to her feet and stretches a bit, Emerald teleports away in a spiral of emeralds and black stars and leaving Sapphire alone in the room.

 

Sapphire says, with a sigh, “That woman . . . I keep wondering about her . . .” Sapphire then rises to his feet and teleports away to another location in the base as well.

 

(Returning to Serena and Prince Diamond; A brief time soon after)

 

Back to Serena and Prince Diamond, the leader of the Black Moon family continues to use his hypnotic eye on our Moon Princess, but she continues to resist his hypnotic powers as he continues to penetrate her mind.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “You are strong, my dear. Actually, you are much stronger than before, I have to say, because you are resisting even better than before. It is hard for me to penetrate your mind.”

 

Serena moans out, weakly, “I won't . . . I won't . . . let you win . . . I won't give up my love for Darien . . .”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Did he really show that much affection while he was under the control of the Light of Destruction? Did you feel any warmth and love when your friends turn against you and joined the Society of Light?” Serena winches from that as the images of what happened with the Light of Destruction reenter her mind.

 

Serena shakes her head and she says, weakly, “No . . . No . . .”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Ah. Yes. That's it. Focus on that my dear.” Just then Prince Diamond increases the intensity of his physic assault and Serena's mind starts to focus on the painful memories that she has of the Society of Light brainwashing her friends, her beloved, and the time that they attacked her when they were fully brainwashed.

 

Serena shakes her head and she says, weakly, “No . . . stop . . . please don't . . .” Serena cries out as the mental assault continues to bombard her mind with those images.

 

Prince Diamond thinks in his mind, “Yes. Those are the memories that doubted her faith of her friends and her beloved! They are the memories that I must focus on!”

 

Prince Diamond continues for another minute and just then a male voice calls out, “Brother.” Prince Diamond stop his mental assault on Serena and looks to the source of the voice to see Sapphire bowing in front of him.

 

Prince Diamond asks, curiously, “What is it, Sapphire?”

 

Sapphire says, with a serious tone, “I have to report that Sailor Moon's brother, the Earth Prince, and all of the Sailor Scouts including various others are inside of our base. Emerald is going out to face them herself.”

 

Prince Diamond shakes her head and he says, “That woman is going to get herself killed again.”

 

Serena thinks in her mind, weakly, “They're here . . . I knew . . . I knew they would come . . . I knew Jaden and Darien-chan would come . . .!!”

 

Sapphire asks Prince Diamond, curiously, “What should I do brother?”

 

Prince Diamond replies, with a plain tone, “Try to keep them away from here as best as you can.”

 

Sapphire says, with a nod, “Yes, Diamond.” Soon after, Sapphire teleports away and Prince Diamond then puts Serena gently onto the large bed.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a smile, “You believe that your so called beloved and your brother will save you, but they will not and soon, you shall only have eyes for me.” Soon after, Prince Diamond uses his hypnotic eye on Serena and she cries out as she is hit with another mental assault.

 

(A short time later; Elsewhere within the base)

 

In another area of the Black Moon base, we find our heroes and heroines wandering around trying to find any signs of Serena and Prince Diamond while Sailor Mercury and Sailor Aquarius use their scanners to find any trace of her.

 

Sailor Libra says, nervously, “This place is scary.”

 

Sailor Aries says, with a sigh, “No joke, Mindy. It always seems that villains like this type of atmosphere.”

Sailor Mars says, with a nod, “We can all agree to that.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, with a nod, “No kidding.” Just then a familiar loud feminine scream rips through the hallways of the base.

 

Sailor Sun yells out, shocked, “That's Serena's voice!”

 

Sailor Venus says, horrified, “She's in trouble!”

 

Tuxedo Mask charges off and shouts out, “Serena!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Universe says, with a serious tone, “Darien-sensei, wait! We need to stay together!”

 

Yusuke says, with a serious tone, “Oh, boy! Let's go after him!”

 

Hiei says, with a low annoyed tone, “Humans and their emotions.” Soon after, the rest of our `rescue team' immediately follows Tuxedo Mask running down the hallways of the Black Moon base. Within a few minutes, they find themselves in a large room and in front are a lot of droids in front of them.

 

Sailor Leo asks, perplexed, “What are those?”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Droids. They are the `monsters' of the Black Moon family and the ones that they use for their dark deeds and their foot soldiers.” Everyone looks to see Sailor Earth coming up behind them.

 

Sailor Mars asks, curiously, “Where were you lately? You have been vanishing on us lately.”

 

Sailor Earth replies, with a plain tone, “Sorry. I have been quite busy lately.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “She has been on important business. I have been keeping in communication with her, but her `business' is top secret between her and me.”

 

Sailor Saturn asks, curiously, “What is it?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, seriously, “I think that we should keep focused on the task at hand here.”

 

Sailor Sun says, with a nod, “Good point, Amara-sensei.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a nod, “No joke. We are kind of surrounded around here.”

 

Just then a familiar female voice yells out, “That's right, brats!” Everyone looks up to see Emerald teleport above them and floats in mid-air above them.

 

Sailor Mars says, with a snarl, “Emerald.”

 

Sailor Neptune says, with a serious tone, “Where is our princess?”

 

Emerald says, with an evil sly grin, “And what makes you think that you can make demands here?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a serious tone, “Listen here, you, if you don't give her back, you are going to be sorry!”

 

Emerald says, with a snarl, “You've got some spunk, wench! I hate spunk!”

 

Sailor Galaxy floats up into the air and Yusuke calls out, strongly, “Hey, sis, what are you doing?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, seriously, “I really don't like this witch! I'll take care of her!”

 

Emerald says, with an evil sly grin, “You take care of me?! That's a laugh! Like you have the guts! You might have experience fighting drooling and snarling demons, but me, you are out of your league!”

 

Sailor Galaxy asks, with a serious tone, “You want to make a bet on that?”

 

Emerald says, with an evil smile, “Yes, I would. In fact, why don't we settle this your way?” Just then Emerald forms a black version of the Academy Duel Disk on her left wrist and then a dueling deck appears inside of it.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Well, you are talking my language.” Soon after, Sailor Galaxy forms a duel disk on her left wrist and takes her dueling deck out of her sub-space pocket while inserting it into her duel disk. Sailor Galaxy then tells the others, telepathically, “And why I take care of this witch, the rest of you find a way out of here!”

 

Solar Moon asks, curiously, “What about you?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a serious tone, “I can take care of myself! I don't like to fight as much as my brother does, but I can still kick butt! Even more so than he can and I can kick my bro's can when he gets out of control!”

 

Yusuke says, indignantly, “Hey! I heard that!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, seriously, “Just get out of here, bro, and save Serena! We don't have time to waste!”

 

Sailor Pluto says, telepathically, “Hikari is right, everyone. We need to find our princess and fast. I fear that Diamond's mental assault might be taking its toll on her!”

 

Sailor Mars asks, curiously, “Where can we go? The only way forward is blocked by them!”

 

Sailor Aquarius says, with a serious tone, “Mercury and I might have found a solution. The walls of this room aren't too thick! One powerful assault to the left might take care of that!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Universe says, strongly, “I'll take care of that! Please point me to the spot!”

 

Sailor Mercury points to a spot on the wall on the left and shouts out, “There!”

 

Emerald asks, perplexed, “What?”

 

“Universe Elemental Dragon!”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Universe unleashes a powerful aurora-colored dragon made of multiple elements at the spot on the left wall that Sailor Mercury point out and caused a huge explosion that sends crystal-like fragments into the droids and shedding many of them apart while creating a large hole into another hallway.

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a smile, “Nice, Keiko.”

 

Kurama says, seriously, “Let's go!” Immediately, our heroes and heroines head for the huge hole while Emerald prepares to stop them, but Sailor Galaxy gets in her way.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Hold it, sister! Did you forget me?!”

 

Emerald says, with an evil sly grin, “Do you think that your tricks will stop us? Ha!” Emerald and Sailor Galaxy immediately activate their duel disks, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points each, and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Duel!” Emerald and Sailor Galaxy yell out in unison as their duel begins.

 

(Back at the control room; shortly thereafter)

 

Back within the control room, we find Sapphire looking at the control room as he sees the duel between Emerald and Sailor Galaxy ready to start while observing the rest of our heroes and heroines going down a hallway.

 

Sapphire says, with an annoyed snarl, “That woman has really got to learn to make sure that enemy doesn't escape. I have to do anything myself.” Sapphire says, pushing a button, “Sorry, but even though I don't like the idea of taking the Queen of Crystal Tokyo away, I must do what my brother wishes.”

 

(With the rest of our heroes and heroines; A brief time later)

 

As our heroes and heroines, minus Sailor Galaxy, run down the hallway, we find Sailor Mercury and Sailor Aquarius using their scanners to find any trace of Serena.

 

Sailor Neptune asks, curiously, “Anything?”

 

Sailor Mercury says, with a serious tone, “We're detecting something, but it is very hard in this fortress of theirs to get a reading.”

 

Sailor Earth says, with a serious tone, “You can't be surprised.”

 

Sailor Pallas asks, curiously, “Why are those creepy creatures not following us?”

 

Some of our heroes and heroines look back, find that they aren't being followed, and Sailor Libra asks, perplexed, “Why aren't they following us?”

 

Sailor Juno says, with a sly grin, “They must know that fighting us is a waste of time.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, seriously, “I don't think that it would be that easy.”

 

Kurama says, with a serious tone, “Sailor Ceres is right. I don't like this.”

 

Yusuke says, nervously, “Oh, great. When you don't like a situation, Kurama, it means that something bad is going to happen.” Just then a huge explosions start to rock the area.

 

Kuwabara yells out, “And there is a good example!”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, perplexed, “What's going on?!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, seriously, “They are destroying the hallway! They must be trying to bury us alive or something!”

 

Kuwabara yells out, horrified, “Say what?! But I'm too young to be buried alive!”

 

Hiei states, with a serious tone, “Why don't you shut up and keep moving fool?!” Soon after, our heroes and heroines continue to run for their lives, but soon the explosions are getting real close to them.

 

Sailor Vesta says, nervously, “They are getting real close now!”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon asks, nervously, “What do we do?”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse thinks in her mind, “Rini is right! What do we do? We're about to become hero flambé!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice booms into her mind saying, “You know what to do, Seira!” Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse looks around for the voice and she gives a perplexed look as an idea comes into her mind.

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse thinks in her mind, “Okay, I think I'm going crazy since I'm hearing voices in my head, but hey, Serena and the others told me that being a Sailor Soldier doesn't include normal and I'm not a normal girl before so . . .” Immediately, Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse stops in her tracks and yells out, seriously, “Everyone gather around me!”

 

Sailor Sun asks, curiously, “Why, Seira?”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, seriously, “It's no time to argue! Just do it!” Without needing another word, the other heroes and heroines gather around Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse, she closes her eyes, and she start to glow a dark violet as the explosions get closer to them.

 

Kuwabara asks, perplexed, “What's going on here?”

 

Sailor Aries replies, “Wish I knew.” Just then the dark energy surrounds all of them and they turn into shadows phasing into the floor as the explosions engulf the area that they were in.

 

(On the meanwhile; Back to Sailor Galaxy and Emerald)

 

Returning to Emerald and Sailor Galaxy, they are about to start their duel as the smoke and dust from the explosion filter into the room causing Sailor Galaxy gives a perplexed look on her face.

 

Sailor Galaxy asks, perplexed, “Hey, what's going on here?”

 

Emerald says, with an evil sly grin, “Don't worry about your brother and your teammates. I'm the one that you need to worry about.”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a deadly serious tone, “If anything happened to them, you are going to be sorry.”

 

Emerald says, with an evil smile, “Ha! The only one that's going to be sorry is you! You have some nerve to duel me! I'm really in a bad mood and I need something to put it on! You will do nicely!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a serious tone, “We'll see who will be whose `punching bag'!”

Emerald says, with a snarl, “We'll see how snappy you are when I do this!” Just then a large amount of black and dark violet clouds filled the room as well as dark violet fog. Emerald states, with a sly smile, “Ha! Emerald puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she says, with an evil smile, “I'll end my turn with one card face-down!”

 

Sailor Galaxy calls out, drawing one card from her deck, “Okay, witch, it's my move!” Sailor Galaxy puts one card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Now, I play my Call of the Mummy spell card! As long as this spell card stays in play, I can special summon one zombie monster from my hand as long as I have no monsters out on the field right now!” Sailor Galaxy puts one card on her duel disk and yells out, “So, I play my Vampire Lord in attack mode!” Just then Vampire Lord (2000/1500) comes to the field in attack mode. Sailor Galaxy puts one card on her duel disk and she says, with a sly grin, “However, I'm not done! I remove Vampire Lord from play to summon Vampire Genesis in attack mode!” Vampire Lord vanishes from the field and Vampire Genesis (3000/2100) comes to the field in attack mode. Sailor Galaxy puts one card on her duel disk and says, with a sly grin, “However, since they were special summons, I can play my Vampire Bat in attack mode!” Soon after, Vampire Bat (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “And by the way, as long as my Bat remains in play, all zombie monsters gain two hundred attack points!” Vampire Bat's stats rise from 800/800 to 1000/800 and Vampire Genesis' stats rise from 3000/2100 to 3200/2100.

 

Emerald calls out, shocked, “Oh no!”

 

Sailor Galaxy yells out, strongly, “Oh, yes! Vampire Genesis, it's time! Now, attack her Ruin with Crimson Storm!” Vampire Genesis turns into a blood red storm and slams into Ruin causing her to cry out as she is destroyed. Just then the storm rips into Emerald causing her to yell out in pain as she loses 900 life-points. Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Next, you should learn not to fool around with Shadow Games like that! Vampire Bat, attack her with Swarming Scourge!” Vampire Bat turns into hundreds of smaller bats and charges Emerald.

 

Emerald pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, “I don't think so! I play my face-down: Dark Wall of Wind!” Just then Emerald's face-down card is revealed to be the Dark Wall of Wind Quick-Spell card and a dark dome of wind shields Emerald from the scourge of bats. Emerald says, with a sly smile, “Nice try, little girl, but my spell card protects me from all direct attacks.”

 

Sailor Galaxy puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and she says, “I'll end my turn with two cards face-down!”

Emerald draws one card from her deck and she says, with a serious tone, “My move, brat!” Emerald puts one card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Now, I play my Graceful Charity! Now, I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand!” Emerald draws three cards from her deck, discards two cards, a Harpie Lady (1300/1400) and Magician's Valkyria (1600/1800) to the graveyard, and she says, with a sly smile, “Now, I remove my Cosmo Queen and my Harpie Lady that I put in my graveyard with Graceful Charity from play!” The two named cards come out of the graveyard of Emerald's duel disk and she puts them in some kind of sub-space pocket.

 

Sailor Galaxy asks, perplexed, “Why?”

 

Emerald puts one card on her duel disk and yells out, “In order to summon my Dark Simorgh in attack mode!” Just then Dark Simorgh (2700/1000), a black and sinister version of Simorgh, Bird of Divinity, comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, stunned, “What the? I've never seen that monster before!”

 

Emerald gives an evil laugh and she says, evilly, “And it is the last monster that you will see! You see, my Dark Simorgh makes you unable to place anymore face-down cards as long as it is on the field!” Sailor Galaxy gasps in shock, Emerald puts one card into her Field Spell slot, and she says, “Now, I play my Rising Air Current Field Spell!” Just then field transforms into clear blue skies filled with birds and Emerald says, with an evil sly smile, “This gives all Wind monsters an extra five hundred attack point as long as their defense is decreased by four hundred and my Dark Simorgh's other ability allows him to be countered as a Wind and Dark monster!” Just then Dark Simorgh's stats change from 2700/1000 to 3200/600!

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Ha! That overgrown chicken is only just as strong as my Vampire Genesis.”

 

Emerald puts the last card in her hand into the spell/trap slots and she says, with a sly grin, “However, my Kishido Spirit spell card will change that! As long as this spell card remains in my play, my monsters can't be destroyed by monsters with the same attack power!” Emerald yells out, strongly, “Now, Dark Simorgh, attack her fanged freak with Infernal Hurricane!” Dark Simorgh launches a dark wind at Vampire Genesis and it is destroyed, but since the two monsters has the same attack point, Sailor Galaxy doesn't lose any life-points.

 

Sailor Galaxy draws one card from her deck and she thinks, “With that overgrown turkey on the field, I can't place any face-down cards anymore! And that means, no more trap cards until that chicken is gone!” Sailor Galaxy looks at the card in her hand and she says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I throw a monster face-down!” A hologram of face-down monster card appears on the field and Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “And I switch my Vampire Bat to defense mode!” Vampire Bat switches from attack mode to defense mode. Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “And that ends my turn!”

 

Emerald draws one card from her deck and yells out, “How desperate! Dark Simorgh, attack her face-down monster!” Dark Simorgh launches a dark wind at the face-down monster and hits it.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Big mistake. The monster that I had face-down was this . . . Cyber Jar!” Just then face-down monster is revealed to be Cyber Jar (900/900) in defense mode.

 

Emerald yells out, stunned, “What?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy calls out, with a sly smile, “That's right! Now, all monsters on the field are destroyed!” Just then Vampire Bat, Cyber Jar, and Dark Simorgh vanish in huge explosions.

 

Emerald calls out, annoyed, “You will pay for that!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly grin, “We'll see about that! Now, all of us have to draw five cards from our decks and we must summon all level four or below monsters as possible straight to the field!” Sailor Galaxy and Emerald draw five cards from their decks and Sailor Galaxy yells out, putting three cards on her duel disk, “I have three! I summon Proto-Cyber Dragon, Cyber Phoenix, and Cyber Valley and all in defense mode!” Just then Proto-Cyber Dragon (1100/600), Cyber Phoenix (1200/1600), and Cyber Valley (0/0) come to the field in defense mode.

 

Emerald says, putting two monsters on her duel disk, “I have two! Cyber Harpie and Dark Valkyria and both of them are in attack mode!” Just then Cyber Harpie (1800/1300-2300/900) and Dark Valkyria (1800/1050), a dark and sinister version of Dunames Dark Witch, comes to the field in attack mode. Emerald says, with a serious tone, “And since I have two new monsters, I'll attack! First, I'll start off with your pathetic monster with zero points! Cyber Harpie, attack Cyber Valley!” Cyber Harpie gives out a battle cry as it heads for Cyber Valley.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a serious tone, “I play my Cyber Valley's effect! I remove it from play to stop your attack, end your battle phase, and draw one card from my deck!” Cyber Valley vanishes from the field as it is removed from play and Sailor Galaxy draws one card from her deck.

 

Emerald puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and she says, with a snarl, “I end my turn with two cards face-down!”

 

Sailor Galaxy draws one card from her deck and yells out, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play the power of my Power Bond spell card! This is fusion card! Now, I can summon a Machine-type fusion monster as long as send the Fusion Material monsters from my hand and field to the graveyard!” Sailor Galaxy discards two Cyber Dragon (2100/1600 X 2) monster cards from her hand to the graveyard and she yells out, “Now, I fuse my two Cyber Dragons in my hand with the Proto Cyber Dragon on my field, whose special ability allows me to count it as Cyber Dragon when it is on the field, to summon my most powerful creature!” Just then the two Cyber Dragons appear on the field, they glow along with Proto-Cyber Dragon, and Sailor Galaxy takes a fusion monster card from her fusion deck. Sailor Galaxy puts the fusion monster card on her duel disk and she cries out, “Meet Cyber End Dragon!” Just then a huge whirlwind comes to the field and Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800) comes to the field in attack mode. Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly grin, “And thanks to Power Bond, its attack points are double!” Cyber End Dragon's stats rise from 4000/2800 to 8000/2800!

 

Emerald yells out, stunned, “Eight thousand attack points?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Yep! But we will get that in a minute! I play my Card of Sanctity! Now, both of us have to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Sailor Galaxy and Emerald draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands. Sailor Galaxy cries out, strongly, “Now, Cyber End Dragon, attack her Dark Valkyria with Super Strident Blaze!” Cyber End Dragon fires a blue energy of energy from its three heads right at Dark Valkyria.

 

Emerald pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, strongly, “I don't think so, brat! I play my Hallowed Life Barrier trap card!” Emerald's face-down card is revealed to be the Hallowed Life Barrier trap card and she says, with an evil sly grin while discarding one card from her hand, “For this turn, by discarding one card from my hand, all damage to me becomes zero!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Well, your monster isn't so lucky!” Cyber End Dragon's attack slams into Dark Valkyria and destroys her, but thanks to Emerald's trap card, she loses no life-points.

 

Emerald says, with an evil smile, “Ha! But thanks to your Power Bond, you are about to lose this duel!”

 

Sailor Galaxy puts one card on her duel disk and she says, with a sly smile, “Not when I play my Cyber Kirin in attack mode!” Just then Cyber Kirin (300/600) comes to the field in attack mode. Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “Now, thanks to my little pup here, by sending him to the grave, all effect damage to me becomes zero for this turn, so, my Power Bond damage is negated!” Cyber Kirin vanishes from the field and Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “And that's where I'll end my turn!”

 

Emerald draws one card from her deck and she says, with an evil smile while putting one card on her duel disk, “Now, I play this! Copycat!” Just then Copycat (0/0) comes to the field in attack mode!” Emerald says, with a sly smile, “Now, when he is summoned successfully, he can gain the original attack and defense points of one of your monster and I choose your Cyber End Dragon!” Just then Copycat glows as it transforms into an exactly duplicate of Cyber End Dragon and its stats go from 0/0 to 4000/2800!

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “It is only half as strong as my real deal, Emerald!”

 

Emerald says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “But when I play my Pump Up spell card! It's power gets doubled!” Copycat's stats then rise from 4000/2800 to 8000/2800. Emerald says, with a sly grin, “And since my Kishido spell card is still in play, it can't be destroyed by your dragon! Copycat, use the power of Cyber End Dragon and attack with Super Strident Blaze!” The copy of Cyber End Dragon attacks the real Cyber End Dragon.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I play my trap card: Cybernetic Hidden Technology!” Sailor Galaxy's face-down card is revealed to be the Cybernetic Hidden Technology continuous trap card and Sailor Galaxy says, with a serious tone, “When my opponent monsters attack, I can send one Cyber Dragon or a fusion monster that uses Cyber Dragon as a Fusion Material monster to the graveyard and destroy your fake! So, I sacrifice my Cyber End Dragon to send your copy packing!” Cyber End Dragon vanishes and the copy of Cyber End Dragon explodes into pieces.

 

Emerald yells out, with a serious tone, “Well, my Cyber Harpie can take care of your overgrown Phoenix! Attack!” Cyber Harpie slashes Cyber Phoenix apart and it is destroyed, but since it was in defense mode, Sailor Galaxy doesn't lose any life-points.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, drawing one card, “Since you destroyed my Cyber Phoenix, I get one more card from my deck!”

 

Emerald says, with an annoyed snarl, “I'll end my turn here!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, drawing one card from her deck, “My move!” Sailor Galaxy looks at her card and she thinks in her mind, “You know, I don't want to use Zane's ruthless tactics, but in order to defeat this evil witch, I need to go all out on her! So, this is it! It is time to end this duel! My bro and the others need me!” Sailor Galaxy pushes a button on her duel disk and yells out, “Now, I reveal my face-down card! Rebirth Judgment!” Sailor Galaxy's face-down card is revealed to be the Rebirth Judgment continuous trap card and she yells out, strongly, “With this trap card, I can change the type of all monsters in our graveyard to any type that I choose and I say that they are all Machine monsters!”

 

Emerald says, with an evil sly smile, “What is the point of that? So, all of our monsters are machines now.”

 

Sailor Galaxy puts one card on her duel disk and she says, “My final Cyber Dragon might help you on that one since I have no monsters and you do, I can special summon him to the field!” Just then Cyber Dragon (2100/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Sailor Galaxy says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “And then I play Overload Fusion! I can remove Fusion Material monsters from my field and graveyard from play to summon a Dark-attribute Machine monster!” Sailor Galaxy takes out a fusion monster from her fusion deck and she says, with a serious tone, “And the fusion monster that I choose is Chimeratech Overdragon! In order to summon it, I need only to fuse one Cyber Dragon and one machine monster from play, but my bro and the others need me, so, I'll need to get a little ruthless with you, sister! So, I remove all three Cyber Dragons, my Proto-Cyber Dragon, my Cyber Phoenix, Cyber End Dragon, Cyber Kirin, Cyber Jar, and since they are machines now, my Vampire Bat and my Vampire Genesis from play!”

 

Emerald yells out, stunned, “That's ten monsters!”

 

The images of other nine monsters from Sailor Galaxy's graveyard appear on the field as the monster cards come out of Sailor Galaxy's graveyard slot of her duel disk and she says, with a serious tone, “That's right, Emerald! And now, meet the last monster that you will ever see: Chimeratech Overdragon!” Sailor Galaxy puts the fusion monster card on the duel disk, the monsters on the field vanish, and in a large wind storm, Chimeratech Overdragon (8000/8000) with all six of its heads comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Emerald cries out, horrified, “It has eight thousand attack points, too?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a sly smile, “Yep! It gets eight hundred attack and defense points for every monster used in the fusion and guess what? It can attack once for every monster used in the fusion as well and that means up to ten times!”

 

Emerald yells out, flabbergasted, “Ten times?!”

 

Sailor Galaxy calls out, strongly, “That's right! Now, Overdragon, end this!” Chimeratech Overdragon fires its attack from all of the heads coming out of its body that slams into Emerald and her Cyber Harpie and she cries out in extreme pain and agony as nearly 80,000 life-points are ripped away causing her to get covered in a huge explosion while the duel ends immediately.

With the end of the duel, the holograms and dark fog away as Emerald's unconscious and extremely burnt form falls from the smoke and dust towards the ground, but Sailor Galaxy easily flies down and catches her. Soon after, Sailor Galaxy gently sets her down on the ground and she takes a deep breath as she solemn looks down at Emerald's badly injured form.

 

Sailor Galaxy thinks in her mind, solemnly, “I really didn't want to do that, but lives are in danger! I keep wonder: Ruthless dueling isn't okay in regular duels, but we always seem to duel this way when we are fighting terrible evils or training to fight them! Is this the only way to fight evil in the world? Do we have to fall to their level or close to it to protect all the good in the world? Why does it have to be this way?” Sailor Galaxy looks around to see the remaining droids that survived Sailor Galaxy's attack run away from her in fear after what happened to Emerald. Sailor Galaxy then uses her Senshi powers to heal Emerald enough so that she wouldn't die or have any permanent injuries. Soon after, she runs off into the distance to find her friends and family.

Back with our Moon Princess, she is groaning and straining to fight off Diamond's hypnotic control as he continues to use his hypnotic eye on his forehead to try to bring Serena into his control and he continues to pound her mind with the horrible images of what happened during much of the fight with the Light of Destruction and the Society of Light. Even through Serena's mind is stronger than before, Prince Diamond has found the cracks in her mental defenses that he needed and he continues to chip away with his hypnotic powers.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, wearily, “No . . . can't let . . . can't let him use what happened . . . against me . . . have to stay focused . . . they are my friends . . . my friends . . . my friends . . . Darien is my love . . . my only love . . . my true love . . .” However, Serena's eyes start to become slightly glazed over as the mental attack takes its toll on her.

 

Prince Diamond says, lowly, “Yes, my dear. Just focus on those images. You will learn that love and friendship can be broken and that I am the only one that's truly loyal to you. You will accept me as your king, my dear.”

 

Just then a female voice calls out, “Don't count on it, creep!” Prince Diamond stops his attack to look up only to get blasted by a telekinetic blast that forces him to drop Serena onto the bed and knocking him to the wall. When Prince Diamond regains his senses, he finds all of our heroes and heroines that came into the fortress, minus Sailor Galaxy, in front of him.

 

Prince Diamond states, with a sly smile, “All of you survived, huh?”

 

Solar Moon says, with a sly smile, “Thanks to Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse, here.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a sly smile, “Hi. We never met. The name is Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse. I'm Jaden's and Serena's long lost sister.”

 

Prince Diamond asks, perplexed, “What?”

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse states, with a shrug, “Died as a baby and reborn in this time. Go figure, huh?”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Another Moon Princess? And you are Sailor Eclipse now? Interesting.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a serious tone, “Be impressed later, pal. Now, if you hand over my sister, we will be on our way.”

Serena groans as she looks toward her family and friends and she says, weakly, “I knew . . . that you would come . . .” Soon after, she collapses onto the bed and into unconsciousness.

 

Tuxedo Mask yells out, worriedly, “Serena!” Immediately, he runs towards Serena on the bed, but Prince Diamond waves his hand and a dark force-field is erected around the bed and trapping her inside. Tuxedo Mask tries to break through the barrier, but he has no luck at all.

 

Sailor Mars asks, with an angered tone, “What did you do to her?!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Bring her to my way of thinking when she becomes my queen.”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon says, with a strong tone, “Why won't you get that my mommy will only go with my daddy? They belong together and there is nothing that you can do to break them apart!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “We shall see, Small Lady.”

 

Just then Sailor Sun finds Serena's Valkyrie transformation brooch and she says, “There is Serena's brooch.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Universe says, with a serious tone, “I'll get it!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a serious tone, “I don't think so, young princess!” However, before Prince Diamond could make a move, he hears a large `bang' sound and he barely dodged a Spirit Gun blast from Yusuke.

 

Yusuke says, with a snarl, “Try to move against my girlfriend and I won't miss! Now, give back our friend right now!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly tone, “Crude and brash as ever, eh, Sun Prince? Well, I will not surrender the jewel of the universe to you and you can't make me take down the force-field. So, I say that we settle in the way of this `Duel Academy', shall we?” Soon after, Prince Diamond creates a duel disk that looks like blade of a buzz saw with the life-point counter being orange and looks like demonic eye with a black deck holder on his left wrist with a dueling deck inside.

 

Solar Moon de-transforms back into Jaden and he says, with a serious tone, “A duel? Okay, get your game on!”

 

Yusuke says, with a serious tone, “Not alone, Jay! With his obsession with Serena, I think it will take the two of us to knock some sense into him!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a nod, “As you wish, but I demand that I have eight thousand life-points and you, two, still have four thousand to make it fair.”

 

Yusuke says, with a nod, “Fine, pal! We'll still beat you!” Jaden and Yusuke get duel disks from their sub-space pockets, attach them to their left wrists, and put their dueling decks inside. All three of them activate their duel disks with Prince Diamond's duel disk spinning around like buzz saw before unfolding, Prince Diamond's life-point counter displays 8000 life-points while Jaden's and Yusuke's duel disks display 4000 life-points for each of them, and all three of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Let's duel!” Yusuke, Jaden, and Prince Diamond say in unison as their duel begins.

I play my Evil Hero Infernal Gainer in defense mode!” Just then Evil Hero Infernal Gainer (1600/0) comes to the field in defense mode.

 

Our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Sailor Jupiter yells out, strongly, “Hey! How did you get that deck?!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Simple. I've been observing the Moon Prince and his duels along with the rest of you and I've decided that this deck shall be the best one for me, so, with the powers of the Shadow Realm and the Black Moon, I created my own Evil Heroes deck.”

 

Sailor Aries says, drolly, “That's just great. Jaden had problems the last time that he went against that deck.”

 

Sailor Aquarius says, with a nod, “However, this time, he has Yusuke to back him up.”

 

Kuwabara says, with a nod, “Yeah! The two of them will crush that damn pretty boy!”

 

Kurama says, with a serious tone, “Don't count Prince Diamond out. He comes from the future and he is the leader of the Black Moon family. He is not to be underestimated.”

 

Prince Diamond puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, with a plain tone, “I shall end my turn with one card face-down.”

 

Jaden says, drawing one card, “Okay, Diamond, it is time to get your game on!” Jaden puts one card on his duel disk and he says, “Now, I summon my Elemental Hero Bubbleman in attack mode!” Just then Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200) comes to the field in attack mode and Jaden says, drawing two more cards from his deck, “And since there are no other cards on my field, I get two more cards from my deck!” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, “And now, I will play one of them: Polymerization!” Jaden discards his Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) monster card from his deck to the graveyard, the monster appears on the field with Bubbleman, and the two monsters go into a fusion vortex causing Jaden to say, with a serious tone, “Now, I fuse Bubbleman with my Elemental Hero Clayman to form . . .!” Jaden takes a fusion monster card, puts it on his duel disk, and declares, “. . . Elemental Hero Mudballman in defense mode!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Mudballman (1900/3000) comes to the field in defense mode. Jaden puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and he says, “Now, I'll throw down a couple of face-downs and end my turn!”

 

Yusuke draws one card from his deck and yells out, “My draw!” Yusuke puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, “Now, I play my White Dragon Ritual spell card!” Yusuke discards Dark Armed Dragon (2800/1000) monster card and he says, with a sly smile while putting a card on his duel disk, “Now, I discard one monster card from my hand, my Dark Armed Dragon, to summon my Paladin of White Dragon!” Just then Paladin of White Dragon (1900/1200) comes to the field in attack mode. Yusuke says, with a sly smile, “Next, I'll play his ability and sacrifice him to summon my Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck!” Paladin of White Dragon vanishes from the field, a card comes out of Yusuke's deck, and he puts it on his duel disk causing Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) to come to the field in attack mode. Yusuke then puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Then I play my Burst Stream of Destruction spell card! Prince Diamond draws one card from his deck and he says, with a sly smile while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “I shall start off with Pot of Greed! This card allows me two more cards from my deck!” Prince Diamond draws two more cards from his deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and he says, with a sly grin, “Next, I shall play Dark Fusion! By sending Fusion Material monsters from my hand and field to the graveyard, I can summon a Fiend-type fusion monster!” Prince Diamond discards Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400), a black and gold version of Jaden's Sparkman, and Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) monster cards and he says, taking a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, “Now, I dark fuse Elemental Hero Sparkman and Elemental Hero Clayman to call forth . . .!!” The two monsters appear on the field, go into a dark fusion vortex, and Prince Diamond says, putting the fusion monster card on his duel disk, “. . . Evil Hero Lightning Golem!” Just then Evil Hero Lightning Golem (2400/1500) appears on the field in attack mode. Prince Diamond says, “And now, I play his ability! Once per turn, I can destroy a monster on the field and I choose Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Go, Voltic Volley Assault!” Lightning Golem sends a sphere of dark electrical energy into Blue-Eyes White Dragon and destroying it. Prince Diamond puts one card in the spell/trap slots and declares, “And now, I play Monster Reborn! This allows me to revive my Evil Hero Infernal Gainer!” Just then Evil Hero Infernal Gainer (1600/0) comes back to the field in attack mode. Prince Diamond says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Stop Defense spell card and force your monster into attack mode, Prince Judai.”

 

Just then Mudballman switches from defense to attack mode and Jaden says, nervously, “Oh, boy.”

 

Prince Diamond then says, with a sinister smile, “And next, I shall play my Gainer's ability! By removing him from play for two turns, I can allow my Golem to attack twice in a turn! First, I shall eliminate your `hero'! Attack” Lightning Golem fires dark electric energy into Mudballman and he explodes causing Jaden to cry out in surprise as he loses 500 life-points.

 

Sailor Sun yells out, shocked, “Jaden!”

 

Jaden says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Not bad, but I play my trap! Hero Signal!” Jaden's face-down card proves to be the Hero Signal trap card and Jaden says, with a sly grin, “And now, I can summon one Elemental Hero from my deck since you destroyed a monster of mine in battle! But I can only summon one that's level four or below!” A card comes out of Jaden's deck, he puts it on his duel disk, and Jaden exclaims, “And I pick Wildheart!” Just then Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500/1600) comes to the field in defense mode.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Nicely done, but your first, the Sun Prince, doesn't have that protection and he is next.” Lightning Golem then launches a second blast of dark electric energy right at Yusuke.

 

Jaden says, seriously while pushing another button on his duel disk, “No, you don't! I play my trap card: Hero Spirit!” Just then Jaden's other face-down card proves to be the Hero Spirit trap card and an image of Mudballman appears in front of Yusuke negating the attack. Jaden says, with a serious tone, “When you destroy an Elemental Hero in battle, this trap card can negate one attack this turn!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a shrug, “Well done, young Moon Prince. However, you are far from safe. I shall end my turn.”

And I choose Bubbleman!” Just then Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200) monster card and Polymerization spell card come out of Jaden's graveyard slot and he puts them into his hand. Jaden then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, strongly, “Next, I play Polymerization!” Jaden discards his Elemental Hero Necroshade (1600/1800) monster card, takes fusion monster card from his fusion deck, Necroshade appears on the field and goes into a fusion vortex with Wildheart, and he says, with a sly smile while putting the fusion monster card on his duel disk, “Now, I fuse my Wildheart with Elemental Hero Necroshade to form Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman (1900/1800) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden says, with a smile, “Now, I play his sweet effect! I can sacrifice one monster on your field and summon a monster from your graveyard to take its place! So, say goodbye to your Golem and say hello to Clayman!” Just then Lightning Golem vanishes from the field and Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) comes back to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, as the image of Necroshade appears behind him, “Plus, since Necroshade is in the grave, I can use his ability to summon an Elemental Hero without a sacrifice!” Jaden puts one card on his duel disk and yells out, “And I choose good old Elemental Hero Neos!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Sailor Aries says, excitedly, “All right!”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, with a sly tone, “Take this poser out, Jaden!”

 

Jaden yells out, “Shaman, attack his Clayman!” Necroid Shaman charges in, slices Clayman in half, and he explodes as Prince Diamond loses 1100 life-points.

 

Prince Diamond says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Did you really think that you are the only with that Hero Signal trap?” Just then Prince Diamond's face-down card is revealed to be the Hero Signal trap card.

 

Sailor Venus says, annoyed, “Poser.”

 

A card comes out of Prince Diamond's deck, he puts it on his duel disk, and he says, plainly, “Now, I use its effect to summon Bubbleman in defense mode.” Just then Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200), this one with dark armor, comes to the field in defense mode. Prince Diamond draws two more cards from his deck and he says, plainly, “And now, I gain two more cards from my deck.”

 

Jaden calls out, strongly, “Your monster won't be staying here for long! Neos, you know what to do, pal! Attack his Bubbleman with Cosmic Crush!” Elemental Hero Neos rushes in, karate chops Bubbleman, and he shatters into pieces, but since the monster was in defense mode, Prince Diamond doesn't lose any life-points. Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, “Now, I'll throw a face-down.”

This is my time to really give him a thrashing!” Yusuke calls out, “Now, I remove my Dark Armed Dragon and my Blue-Eyes White Dragon from play!” The two named monster cards come out of Yusuke's deck, he puts them in a sub-space pocket, and he says, putting a card on his duel disk, “This allows me to summon Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning!” Just then Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning (3000/2500) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a nod, “Impressive, Sun Prince.”

 

Yusuke says, with a serious tone, “If you think that's impressive, jerk, then try this! Luster Soldier, attack with Luster Blade Slash!” Black Luster Soldier then moves in to attack Prince Diamond.

 

Prince Diamond says, discarding one card, “Futile.” Just then Kuriboh (300/200) appears in front of Prince Diamond and Black Luster Soldier's attack is blocked.

 

Sailor Mercury asks, stunned, “He has a Kuriboh in his deck?”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a smile, “Of course. Other people would think of it as a weak card, but it is only as weak as the duelist that has it. I feel that used right, any card can be powerful. Kuriboh is also a fiend monster for a fiend-like deck, so, it is easy to put him in this deck. As you can see, I know how to use cards to their fullest potential.”

 

Yusuke says, with a snarl while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Yeah! Yeah! We get it! I end my turn!”

 

Prince Diamond draws one card from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and calls out, “Now, I summon my Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy!” Just then Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy (300/600) comes to the field in attack mode and Prince Diamond says, with a serious tone, “Since I have no monsters on the field, I can special summon this card from my hand to my field!” Prince Diamond puts one card on his duel disk and calls out, “Next, I will sacrifice my Prodigy to summon Evil Hero Malicious Edge!” Infernal Prodigy vanishes from the field and Evil Hero Malicious Edge (2600/1800) takes its place. Prince Diamond says, with a serious tone, “Since you have monsters on your field, I only need one sacrifice to summon this powerful creature. Plus, since my Prodigy was sent to the grave summoning a Hero monster, I can one more card from my deck!” Prince Diamond draws one card from his deck, looks at it intently, and he says, putting the other card in his hand in the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Vicious Claw! This card gives a monster three hundred extra attack points!” Just then Evil Hero Malicious Edge's right arm gains a dark glow and its stats rise from 2600/1800 to 2900/1800! Prince Diamond says, with a serious tone, “Malicious Edge, attack Elemental Hero Neos with Needle Burst!” Malicious Edge leaps up into the air and throws multiple needs at Neos.

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and exclaims, “Sorry, Diamond, but my Reinforcements trap card will stop that!” Jaden's face-down card proves to be the Reinforcements trap card and Jaden says, with a smile, “Now, my Elemental Hero Neos gains five hundred attack points for this turn!” Elemental Hero Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000! He leaps forward and knocks the needles right back at Malicious Edge, which slam into him causing a strong explosion while Prince Diamond loses 100 life-points.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a sly smile, “Thank you, Prince Judai. I wanted you to do that.”

 

Jaden asks, nervously, “How come?”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a smile, “You see, my Vicious Claw comes with another ability that you should know of. When the monster that's equipped with it would be normally destroyed in battle, I can negated that destroyed by sending Vicious Claw back to my hand and then one monster other than the one that I attacked is destroyed with six hundred points of damage dealt to the owner. And I choose . . . Black Luster Soldier!”

 

Yusuke yells out, stunned, “Say what?!” Just then dark energy comes from the smoke, wraps around Black Luster Soldier, and Yusuke yelps out as it is destroyed in a huge explosion and he loses six hundred life-points.

 

Prince Diamond says, “Then an `Evil Token' is summoned to the Sun Prince's side of the field.” Just then an Evil Token (2500/2500), a horned field with red eyes, comes to Yusuke's side of the field while Evil Hero Malicious Edge returns to Prince Diamond's side of the field unharmed. Prince Diamond says, putting the card he drew with Infernal Prodigy's effect into the spell/trap slots, “Now, I shall end with one card face-down.” Elemental Hero Neos' stats return back from 3000/2000 to 2500/2000.

This card allows me to draw two cards for every Elemental Hero on the field and since there is two, I get four new cards!” Jaden draws four more cards from his deck and he says, “Sweet.” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and he says, “Now, I play my Neos Force equip spell card! This card gives Neos an extra eight hundred attack points!” Elemental Hero Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 3300/2000 and Jaden yells out, strongly, “Okay, Neos, attack his Edge with Cosmic Crush!” Elemental Hero Neos leaps in to attack Malicious Edge, but Prince Diamond doesn't even lose his smirk.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a shake of his head, “Nice try, but you forgot my face-down card. It is an all-powerful spell card that you know well and in fact, you have in your possession. It was spell card created from the darkness of duelists' souls.”

 

Jaden gasp in shock and yells out, stunned, “Wait! You mean . . .?”

 

Prince Diamond pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, with an evil sly grin, “Yes! I play my Super Polymerization spell card!” Prince Diamond's face-down card is revealed to be the Super Polymerization Quick-Spell card.

 

Many of our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Kuwabara shouts out, stunned, “How did he get that card?! Only Jaden has that card!”

 

Kurama says, with a serious, yet, nervous tone, “Not anymore, Kuwabara.”

 

Prince Diamond says, discarding his Vicious Claw Equip Spell card to the graveyard, “Now, I discard my Vicious Claw to fuse my Malicious Edge with the Evil Token on the Sun Prince's field!” Just then a huge fusion vortex appears on the field, sucks Malicious Edge and Evil Token into itself, and a fusion monster card appears on Prince Diamond's duel disk. Prince Diamond says, with an evil sly smile, “Now, I summon my Evil Hero Malicious Fiend!” Just then out of the fusion vortex, Evil Hero Malicious Fiend (3500/3000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Sailor Aries says, stunned, “That Evil Fiend is more powerful than Jaden's Neos!” Neos charges at Malicious Fiend and it launches spikes at Neos causing him to be destroyed and costing Jaden 200 life-points.

 

Prince Diamond says, with a serious tone, “However, the worse is yet to come. Since this monster is face-up on the field during your Battle Phase, all of your monsters must attack my Fiend!”

 

Jaden yells out, stunned, “What?!” Just then Necroid Shaman is covered in a dark aura and charges Malicious Fiend causing Malicious Fiend to counterattack, slice apart Necroid Shaman, and Jaden cries out as he loses 1600 more life-points.

 

Sailor Sun yells out, horrified, “Jaden!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with an evil sly smile, “This is one of the Evil Heroes' deck most powerful creatures and it is unstoppable.”

 

Yusuke says, with a serious tone, “Oh, yeah! Nothing is invincible, pal!”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a plain tone, “We shall see.”

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “Okay, I'll end my turn!”

Prince Diamond says, with a confident smile, “Impressive monster, but not strong enough to defeat my Fiend!”

 

Yusuke says, with a sly grin, “Expect that he has a special ability! By giving up one grand in life-points, all cards on the field and in our hands are destroyed including my dragon and you take three hundred points of damage!” Prince Diamond gasps in shock while Yusuke's life-points drop by 1000 and Chaos Emperor Dragon blasts the field with flames causing itself, Yusuke's face-down card, and Malicious Fiend to get destroyed while Yusuke and Jaden discard their entire hands. Yusuke says, with a sly smile, “This card is forbidden in tournaments, but since this isn't a tournament duel, I put this card in my deck for safe keeping so to speak. Now, I discarded two cards, Jay discard five cards, and three cards on the field were destroyed and that means you lose three grand in life-points.” Prince Diamond sneers as his life-points drop by 3000 points and by this time, Valkyrie Sailor Universe has retrieved Serena's Valkyrie transformation brooch.

 

Sailor Mars says, with a sly tone, “Take that jerk!”

 

Yusuke says, with a sly smile, “I think that's enough damage for now.”

Jaden says, with a smile, “My move!” Jaden draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and yells out, “Now, I play my Monster Reborn! And I use it to revive Bubbleman!” Just then Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200) returns to the field in attack mode. Jaden says, drawing two cards from his deck, “And thanks to his ability, I get two more cards from my deck!” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and exclaims, “Now, I play my Miracle Contact spell card! Thanks to this spell card, I can return Neos and Neo-Spacian Fusion Material Monsters from my graveyard back to my deck to summon a Neos Fusion Monster! So, I return Neos and my Flare Scarab and Grand Mole, put their by Yusuke's dragon and its special ability!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000), Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab (500/500), and Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (900/300) monster cards come out of Jaden's graveyard and the three monsters appear on the field. Jaden yells out, “Okay, guys, Miracle Triple Contact Fusion!” The three monsters leap into the sky, they combine in a bright light, and their monster cards are returned to Jaden's deck. Jaden takes a fusion monster card, puts it on his duel disk, and calls out, “And now, I call out Elemental Hero Magma Neos!” Just then Elemental Hero Magma Neos (3000/2500) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden says, with a sly smile, “And he gains four hundred attack points for every card on the field and since there are two, Magma Neos gains eight hundred attack points!” Magma Neos glows as its stats rise from 3000/2500 to 3800/2500!

 

Prince Diamond yells out, flabbergasted, “No! This can't be!”

 

Yusuke says, with his cocky smile, “Oh, but it can't! Take it home Jay!”

 

Jaden says, with a strong tone, “You heard him, Neos, end this duel! Attack Prince Diamond directly with Meteor Meltdown!” Magma Neos creates a huge meteor in his left hand and launches right at Prince Diamond. The attack slams into him and he cries out as the force of the attack sends him into the wall while costing him 3800 life-points, ending the duel.

With the end of the duel, the final holograms on the field fade away, Prince Diamond slumps to the floor, and the force-field around the bed vanishes allowing Tuxedo Mask to take Serena into his arms.

Valkyrie Sailor Universe says, with a smile, “That was great, Yusuke.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a smile, “Great? That was excellent in my mind, girlfriend.”

 

Kuwabara says, with a sly smile, “You know it!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a sly grin, “Good job.”

 

Yusuke and Jaden say in unison, “Thanks.”

 

Just then Sailor Galaxy runs into the room and she calls out, “Hey, everyone!”

 

Everyone turns towards her and Sailor Aries says, with a sly smile, “Hey, Kari, what kept you?”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “Sorry. Emerald and the damage pathways took forever to get around.”

 

Valkyrie Sailor Eclipse says, with a nod, “We can understand that.”

 

Sailor Libra says, with a sigh, “Don't remind us why.”

 

Sailor Galaxy asks, curiously, “What did I miss?”

 

Inuyasha says, with a plain tone, “Your brother and Jaden kicking this jerk's butt all over this room.”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “I'm not surprised.”

 

Sailor Star says, with a nervous smile, “It wasn't as easy as Inuyasha is telling you, Kari.”

 

Yusuke says, with a droll tone, “Thanks for reminding us.”

 

Everyone then turns their attention to Tuxedo Mask and the unconscious Serena in his arms and Sailor Sun asks, curiously, “Will she be okay?”

 

Sailor Aquarius says, using her scanner, “It says that she has been under massive mental stress.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a plain tone, “Most likely, Prince Diamond used his hypnotic eye on him.”

 

Sailor Earth says, with a nod, “That's a good conclusion, Trista.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a snarl, “He tried to turn kitten against us. Maybe we should teach him a lesson.”

 

Sailor Earth says, with a shake of her head, “No. Your princess wouldn't have wanted that.”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, with a nod, “Sailor Earth is right. Revenge leads only to more of the same. We need to rise above that.”

 

Inuyasha says, with a serious tone, “Well, what are we going to do about him?”

 

Kurama says, with a logical tone, “I think that it is best that we deal with him another time. Right now, the Moon Princess has been under great stress. We should leave and allow her to recover.”

 

Sailor Galaxy says, with a nod, “Kurama is right.”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon says, with another nod from her head, “Mommy needs her rest.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, with a nod, “Our princess' mother's safety is more important than payback.” Soon after, the group assembles together and teleports away soon after. In a short time after that, Sapphire teleports into the room and he goes over to his brother's fallen form.

 

Sapphire asks Prince Diamond, “Diamond . . . Brother, are you okay?”

 

Prince Diamond rises to his feet and he says, seriously, “I am well, Sapphire. You were wise not to attack. They would have overpowered you. Let's find that woman and prepare for our next move.”

 

Sapphire asks, curiously, “What is that brother?”

 

Prince Diamond says, with a confident smile, “You shall see. Now, come.” Soon after, Sapphire follows his brother out of the room and Prince Diamond thinks in his mind, strongly, “I may have underestimated your brother, Serenity, but you will be mine soon enough!”

 

(Within the Slifer Red dorm; the following day)

 

Within the redesigned room of the Slifer Red dorm, we find our Moon Princess resting on the bed inside of the room with the Slifer Red dorm redesigned by Chazz Princeton. Soon after, she slowly opens her eyes to see her friends, family, and allies looking down at her.

 

Rei says, with a sly smile, “It is about time sleepyhead.”

Serena asks, weakly, “What happened? Where am I?”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “You are in the Slifer Red dorm.”

 

Serena asks, surprised, “What?” Serena tries to get up, but Darien stops her.

 

Darien tells Serena, with a loving smile, “Don't worry, Serena. You are safe now.”

 

Serena says, with putting her right hand on her head, “Last thing I remember I was being blasted by Diamond's hypnotic eye and I remember collapsing onto the bed seeing all of you coming into the room.”

 

Mina says, with a smile, “That's right, Serena! We rescued you!”

 

Hotaru says, with a smile, “Actually, it was Seira, Jaden, and Yusuke that rescued you. Seira got us where you were being held and Jaden and Yusuke beat Diamond in a double duel.”

 

Yusuke says, with a cheeky grin, “Hey, it was nothing!”

 

Keiko says, with a smile, “Yeah, right, Yusuke.”

 

Yusuke says, with a slight annoyed tone, “What's that supposed to mean?”

 

Jaden asks Serena, “Are you going to be okay, sis?”

Serena says, with a smile, “Yes, I am. Thank you.” Serena asks, curiously, “How long was I out?”

 

Alexis says, with a kind tone, “The rest of the day. You have been asleep since yesterday afternoon and evening.”

 

Serena states, stunned, “The rest of the day yesterday?!”

 

Trista says, with a kind smile, “You had taken a powerful mental toll from Prince Diamond's mental assault and we thought that it was best that you rest.”

 

Serena asks, with a kind smile, “Thank you. Did I miss anything while I was out?”

 

Lita says, with a dark sly smile, “Not much. Just took out a few white dorks. That's all.”

 

Zane says, with a dark serious tone, “However, we feel that the Light of Destruction is preparing for his grand finale. Even through we have the satellite keys, he still has the Misgarth brainwashing satellite controls.”

 

Hikari says, drolly, “Don't we know it.”

 

Chazz says, with a droll tone, “Did you have to remind us, Zane?”

 

Rini asks, curiously, “What do we do now?”

 

Zane says, with a dark plain tone, “What else can we do? We wait and prepare.”

 

Yusuke says, with a sigh, “I hate to admit it, but Zane might be right.” The group of heroes and heroines took a deep breath and thought about the battles to come.

 

(Within the `White Dorm'; on the meanwhile)

 

Returning to the `White Dorm', we find the Light of Destruction possessed Sartorius looking through his Tarot cards and he sees The Hierophant/The Prince Tarot card right side up in front of him and he smiles evilly with that.

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, “Soon, Destiny's plan shall finally come into fruition and no one, not even the Chosen Duelists shall stop me! The cards have managed to tell me enough and I know now that through Aster Phoenix, their downfall shall finally come! The end is near! The world and the universe shall finally see the Light!” Just then Sartorius' body gives a powerful sickly white glow as he laughs evilly with an evil laugh that would send chills down any regular person's spine and spells great problems for our heroes and heroines . . .

 

Next time in Chapter 28: The Final Stages: In the aftermath of Serena's kidnapping by Diamond, our heroes and heroines continue their efforts against the SOL and their efforts continue to bring in more and more success. However, plenty of our heroes and heroines are suspicious about the ease of their victories. However, it doesn't impede their efforts to finally bring down the Society of Light, but warning from Yeshua about the Light of Destruction preparing to make its final move makes them on guard more than ever. During their assaults on the Society of Light, our heroes and heroines manage to finally regain control of the Obelisk Blue Girls Dorm from Society control. But the SOL isn't the only worries that our heroes and heroines have to deal with. Soon after, Naraku finally comes out of hiding and Inuyasha, Sailor Star, and their Feudal Era friends, joined by Sesshomaru, are battling against him in a battle that could rip the island apart and the people on Academy Island won't even know it! On the meanwhile, our Sailor Senshi of Fire once again meets up with our Destiny Hero duelist and the two of them still don't exactly get along. However, during this time, the two of them start to get to know each other even more and something is starting forming between them. But then as if our heroes and heroines didn't have enough to deal with, there is an evil duplicate of Sailor Galaxia rampaging around Duel Academy and Yami Marik has returned once again with his Wicked God Cards with another attempt to get the Millennium Puzzle and Egyptian God Cards. The Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts, allied with the real Sailor Galaxia and Sailor Starlights, have to take care of this evil fake while Jaden and his friends have to handle the evil surprises that Yami Marik sends their way. And finally, on the meanwhile, the Light of Destruction continues to prepare for his final confrontation with the `Chosen Duelists' as the final come ever so closer. Will Sailor Star, Inuyasha, and their friends defeat Naraku once and for all? What will happen between Rei and Aster? Will the Sailor Scouts defeat this evil version of the real Sailor Galaxy? What horrors does Yami Marik have in store? And what are the Light of Destruction's plans? Hopefully, we will find out the answers to these questions and more on the next Darkness Moon!

 

Well, I'm back and I'm sorry that it took so long! I've been swamped with school work, finals, graduation, and looking for a job, which I am still doing, as well as helping other fanfiction authors that this took forever to write! It has been around a few months or so, but I'm back and hopefully, the next chapter will be much sooner. However, until I get a job, my free time will vary from time to time.
