If you are reading this, then you have just entered my newest fanfiction story. With my Sailor Mew Mew story winding down, I decided that I wanted to create another Sailor Moon crossover story without any Digimon involved. So, I came up with this story. This is a Sailor Moon/Yu-Gi-Oh GX/Yu-Gi-Oh R, the original Yu-Gi-Oh series, crossover with elements from a few other stories added. I came up with this idea since I began to read and watch Season II of Yu-Gi-Oh GX on Cartoon Network and believe me, it really wants, quoting Jaden, `To get your game on!'

 

Story Summary: This story takes place in Season II of Yu-Gi-OH GX in the aftermath of Aster Phoenix's (Edo Phoenix) and Jaden Yuki's tag duel against Sartorius' sister, Mizuchi, in the Virtual World (A/N: Episode 79, but before Episode 80 and I'm warning you now that there are spoilers to the series in this story.). Sartorius, based on all of the `tests' that he gave Jaden, isn't sure that he can `convert' Jaden to his side since as of late, his predictions concerning Jaden are coming out all wrong since he is somehow defying `destiny' itself. However, Sartorius looks to see that the cards tell him of `new disciples' to add to his growing `army' of `Whites', what I call brainwashed members of the Society of Light, including Chazz and Alexis, and those `new disciples' turn out to be the members of the Sailor Senshi. With the Sailor Senshi, it has been one whole year since the battle with Sailor Galaxia and our heroines are enjoying a team of peace. However, Trista Meiou AKA Sailor Pluto is concerned since the events of the future are still clouded to her and she can `sense' the evil coming from Duel Academy. Sartorius visits Juuban to find the new `converts' that his Tarot Cards told him to find. He finds Ami Mizuno and Hotaru Tomoe and brainwashes both of them, taking them to Duel Academy, which causes the rest of our Sailor Senshi to follow him. On the meanwhile, our dueling hero, Jaden Yuki, is taking a breather when he is visited by the spirit of the former Nameless Pharaoh, Atem, who has returned from the spirit world since the disruptions with the balance of light and darkness forced him to return and after a short `talk', Atem takes Jaden to the Spirit World to meet Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom, Sailor Moon's Lunarian mother, who infused the power of his deck, his Neos deck, which has recently gained Neo-Spacian Dark Panther and Elemental Hero Dark Neos, with the remaining power of the Silver Alliance, giving him another new set of Heroes, including the very powerful Elemental Hero Selene. When Jaden is returned to planet Earth, the spirit of the Pharaoh, Atem, comes with him in order to find a way to revive him back to life since he and his Egyptian Gods will be needed for the coming war against Sartorius. However, he is challenged immediately by the brainwashed Ami Mizuno to a duel and Jaden and his friends learn the identities of the Sailor Senshi from Ami when they arrive to try to stop her. Jaden, with his brand new `Lunar Neos' deck, which is infused with the power of Life, the powers of true light and darkness combined, beats Ami and frees her from the control of Sartorius and the Society of Light. However, Hotaru is still under their control, and the Sailor Senshi, releasing how dangerous Sartorius really is, joins forces with Jaden and his friends with Serena and the Inner Sailor Senshi managing to get transferred into Duel Academy as Slifer Red students with Darien and the three Outer Sailor Senshi, Amara, Michelle, and Trista, coming in as brand new `instructors'. However, with aid from the temporary Chancellor Crowler and the advice of the spirit of Atem and Sailor Pluto, our King of Games, Yugi Moto, and his friends also come into the fray, as well as aid in the revive of Atem as well. Uniting the members of Ra Yellow, which are dropping since plenty of them have been `brainwashed' into the `White Dorm', the former Obelisk Blue dorm, and Slifer Red dorms as well as those `surviving' members of Obelisk Blue not in the Society of Light, namely Atticus Rhodes, Alexis' brother, Jasmine, one of Alexis' friends, and Mindy, the second of Alexis' friends, Damon, the `Tarzan' of Obelisk Blue, and Belowski, who had to leave his `prison'/'home' because of the attempts to convert him to the Society of Light, our heroes and heroines might duel like they never dueled before in all-out `dueling war' against Sartorius and the Society of Light to stop their evil plans as well as free their brainwash members, who are members from Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue at this time. However, it doesn't mean that our Pretty Sailor Soldiers are going to show their way of combating evil as they aided in the protection of the remaining student not under Sartorius' control when he sends in enemies that tend to fight in the way that the Sailor Scouts are used to. On the meanwhile, Jaden begins to discover the deeper origins of his power, why he is the `Chosen Duelist', and begins to discover that Queen Serenity didn't just visit him because he is the `warrior' chosen by the Neo-Spacians to bring balance to the universe. He is going to find out that he and the Sailor Senshi share a common `history', especially with a certain Moon Princess and the Moon Queen. However, you are going to have to find out what it is.

 

Now, I would like to thank and give credit to V-4-VeNdEtTa and this author's story of `Sailor Moon?' for the idea of the Sailor Senshi known as Sailor Universe. Next, I would like to give credit to joyfulsara and this author's story of `Sailor Universe!' for the idea of the past lives for the Tea's heritage back in the Silver Millennium. Then I would like to give credit to YallRCrazy and this author's story of To the Digital World We Go for the idea of Sailor Star's ability to copy the other Sailor Senshi's attack and creating more powerful versions of them for a few of the new Sailor Senshi in this fanfiction. Then I would like to give credit to Io14 and this author's story of Sailormoon Moon for the idea of the fiber-optic device that will be used by the Sailor Senshi in this fanfiction. Finally, I would like to give credit to SailorStar9 and this author's story of Sailor Vortex Revived for the idea of the Sailor Senshi known as Sailor Vortex.

 

Finally, this story is going to be Sailor Moon/Yu-Gi-Oh GX/Yu-Gi-Oh R: King of Games crossover with elements from other anime and game universes added in. The main romantic pairings that I'm going to focus on is: Jaden/Alexis, Serena/Darien, one of my favorites, and Ami/Bastion. There are other romances, but I haven't decided on them, yet. Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Yu-Gi-Oh R, any of the other stories, and anything/anyone else that comes from other stories that ends up in this fanfiction! Warning: This story contains intense violence, blood, gore, possible death, mild to explicit suggestive themes, mild to explicit bad language, and all types of X-rated adult themes/situations, including lemon(s) and all other adult themes and situations that might deemed disturbing to plenty of readers! Note:

Sailor Moon: This takes place one year after the end of the Sailor Stars saga of Sailor Moon.

Yu-Gi-Oh GX: This story takes place in the middle of the Second Season; in the aftermath of the duel of Jaden and Aster against Mizuchi, Sartorius' sister.

Yu-Gi-Oh R: This story takes place ten years after the end of the series.

Chapter 1: New Heroes and New Allies

 

(Within the `White Dorm'; during the early morning hours)

 

Within the renamed `White Dorm', formerly the Obelisk Blue dorms, we find the Obelisk Blue transfer student and unofficial leader of the dorm, Sartorius, in sitting in front of a round table and shuffling his Tarot cards around. Recently, he has found out that Aster Phoenix and Jaden Yuki has defeated his sister, Mizuchi, and Jaden Yuki overcame his predictions, once more. However, instead of being angry, Sartorius, is more interested in our unofficial successor to Yugi Moto, the King of Games then ever.

 

As Sartorius shuffles his Tarot cards on his table, he says to himself, “Once again, Jaden Yuki has proven to be the one that I need in order to make the world see the light. However, I'm not sure if I need to make him see the truth or to eliminate him. These mysterious monsters that he welds, the Neo-Spacians, are powerful creatures from beyond this realm and it seems like that they have given Jaden the powers of darkness to oppose me, which makes me wonder about something. Could they be the reason that Jaden is able to overcome my predictions or did they awaken more of Jaden's power? I need to test Jaden, once again, but how?” Just then two of Sartorius cards fall to the ground to reveal The Knight and The Moon Tarot cards, both upright, and Sartorius gives a wide grin about this. Sartorius says, “Interesting. The cards have spoken. It is said that I need new warriors for my cause and that they will be warriors from the light of the moon.” However, soon after, a few more of Sartorius Tarot cards fall to the ground to reveal The Fool and The Chariot Tarot, also both upright, with The Wheel of Fate, reversed, and Sartorius gives a serious look about this. He says, in a serious tone, “Very interesting. The cards warn me to be careful about this. If I do this incorrect in some way, Jaden will gain even greater power and my destiny might be in doubt. Interesting indeed because the cards don't tell how exactly to proceed, but I know what I need to do.” Soon after, Alexis Rhodes, one of the `converts' to the Society of Light and wearing the white uniform of the members of the `White Dorm', enters the room.

 

Alexis asks, in a plain tone, “You called for me, Master Sartorius?”

 

Sartorius tells Alexis, in a plain tone, “Yes, I did. Thank you for coming. I need a favor from you.”

 

Alexis asks, curiously, “What do you need?”

 

Sartorius tells Alexis, “Gather all of the information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seems, on the district of Juuban in Tokyo.”

 

Alexis asks, perplexed, “Why do you need it?”

 

Sartorius says, with a dark smile on his lips, “Let's just say that we are getting some `new recruits'. Ones that will allow us to make sure the whole world and Jaden Yuki see the light.” Alexis seemed to get mixed feelings within in and she winches in pain that `hit' her very heart. Sartorius asks Alexis, “Is there something wrong?”

 

Alexis replies, in a plain tone, “No, Master Sartorius. I will get to work on it right away.” Alexis then bows in front of Sartorius and walks away. Sartorius nods his head and gives a wide grin as Alexis leaves.

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, “Soon, Jaden Yuki, I will see your true colors and if I can, you will bask in the light by my side. However, if you are unable to be brought from the dark, I will have no other choice, but to take more `extreme' actions on you. I cannot have someone with the power to stop my plans to roam free like this. This final test will allow me to see the truth about you, but what the cards told me still disturb me. The cards told me that if I fail to gather these `warriors of the moon' into the light, then you, Jaden Yuki, will gain even greater power than before. What does it mean?” Sartorius gathers up his Tarot cards, shuffles them into a deck of cards, and begins to `work' with them, trying to figure out the meaning of what they `told' him.

 

(Sometime that same morning; near the Slifer Red dorms)

 

On a Cliffside overlooking the sea and near the Slifer Red dorms on Academy Island, we find our Jaden Yuki overlooking the sea with an unusual sad look on his face. He is going over his cards in his Neos deck, which include his brand new Neo-Spacian Dark Panther and Elemental Hero Dark Neos cards, and looks in deep thought, which is a rarity for Jaden Yuki, who has already save the world from the Shadow Riders and Sacred Beasts, but now, he has save the entire universe from Sartorius and the Society of Light. Even through Jaden has won some impressive victory and managed to prevent himself from being brainwashed, some of his friends weren't so lucky, Chazz Princeton, his best rival, was already brainwashed by Sartorius during the time Jaden attempted to run away from Duel Academy since he couldn't see his cards at that time, thanks to Sartorius power within Aster Phoenix's Hero deck, through neither Aster nor Jaden knew about it at the time. Soon after, Chazz Princeton `infected' nearly all of the rest of Obelisk Blue with Sartorius' evil influence, including Alexis Rhodes, who tried to stop Chazz from turning the whole of the Obelisk Blue dorm white, but suffered the same fate as nearly the rest of the Obelisk Blue student body. By this time, only five students from the Obelisk Blue dorm are left that aren't under the influence of Sartorius. They are Atticus Rhodes, Alexis' older brother, Mindy and Jasmine, Alexis' best friends, Damon, the `Tarzan' of Obelisk Blue that Jaden dueled before, and Belowski, a duelist who can also see Duel Monster spirits like Jaden can and who can bring the powers of the Duel Monster known as Mokey Mokey to life, which put Belowski's opponents into a daze, but Jaden is totally unaffected by this power since his dueling spirit is very strong.

 

Just recently, Jaden dueled with Aster against Sartorius' sister in the Virtual World and won by working together and Mizuchi revealed what happened to Sartorius to make him be so evil and brainwashing others. However, this information hasn't led Jaden and his remaining human friends, Bastion, Tyranno Hassleberry, who has some kind of power from a dinosaur bone inside of his body that prevented him from falling under Sartorius' influence, and Syrus, who recently moved from Slifer Red to Ra Yellow from coming up with a plan to stop Sartorius. And what is worse, Sartorius has already started to `convert' members of Ra Yellow to his side and already fifty percent of Ra Yellow students are now members of the `White Dorm'. Jaden knows that if he and his friends don't find a way to stop Sartorius, he could take over the whole school and based on what he knows from the Neo-Spacians and Mizuchi, the whole of planet Earth and the universe is in danger from the evils of Sartorius.

 

Jaden takes a deep breath and says, in an unusual solemn tone, “Man. Things are getting way out of hand. Sartorius has total control of the Blue Dorm, turning it into his `White Dorm', nearly all of the Obelisk Blue students, including Alexis, are on his side, and now, he is starting to brainwash the Ra Yellow Dorm. If this keeps up, Sartorius is going to take over the entire school and based on what I know from Aquos, Flick, and the others, if I don't stop him, the whole universe is gone.” Jaden's stomach gives a loud growl, he holds his stomach, and says, with his usual grin, “Well, it doesn't help to worry on an empty stomach. I wonder if the expert chef teacher in Ra Yellow will make me some grub.” However, Jaden takes another sigh, looks towards the `White Dorm', and says, in a serious tone, “To be honest, I hope he duels me for the food because I need to my mind off of this . . . and Alexis. Ever since she went with them, it never has been same. I'll get her back . . . someday. I promise you and your brother, Alexis. Whatever mind-control Sartorius has on you, I will break it. I promise that I will get all of you back and I never break a promise, especially to friends.” Jaden then heads off towards the Ra Yellow Dorms to see if he can't something to eat. However, what he doesn't know is that he is been watched from the woods. When we get a good look at the figure, we find that he looks exactly like Yugi Moto, expect he has honey-tan skin like an Egyptian and he is wearing clothing and jewels of an Egyptian Pharaoh as well as transparent as a ghost.

 

The figure says, sounding exactly like the adult Yugi Moto, “So, that's the person that my aibou chose to be his successor as the King of Games. He definitely has the heart and soul of a duelist, I can tell. However, even through he saved the world from those Sacred Beasts like Yugi and I did from Marik's dark side and Zorc and he has help from those Neo-Spacians, he is going to need even more help to stop them. It looks like Queen Serenity was right. I need to bring him here and I need to return to my friends. We will see each other soon . . . Jaden Yuki.” The transparent figure then quickly turns into a sphere of rainbow light and takes off into the stars.

 

(Late afternoon hours; Somewhere within the district of Juuban)

 

On the meanwhile, within the district of Juuban, we find our group of Sailor Senshi, Ami, Mina, Lita, Serena, and Hotaru AKA Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Moon, leader of the Sailor Senshi, and finally, Sailor Saturn, one of the four Outer Sailor Senshi, just outside of a card shop within the mall. Mina was preparing to look at all of the Duel Monsters' cards inside with her friends before they were heading off to Rei's temple to have another Sailor Senshi meeting with Amara, Michelle, Trista, and Rei or Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Mars in their Sailor Senshi forms. It has been one whole year since the battle with Sailor Galaxia and Chaos and peace has finally return to our Sailor Senshi's lives, but Luna, Atriums, and Trista feel that there is another new enemy and every single Duel Monsters card nearly going blank for some reason some months ago was proof of it. With our Sailor Senshi, Luna and Atriums are with their charges, Serena and Mina, to make sure that they are at least close to being on time for their meeting with the others after school.

 

Atriums tells Mina, “Oh, Mina, can this wait? We need to meet with the others.”

 

Mina tells Atriums, “Chill out, Atriums! This won't take too long! I need some new cards for my deck or how do you expect me to become one of the most famous duelists of all time.”

 

Hotaru asks Mina, “Mina-chan, I thought that you wanted to become a `pop star'.”

 

Mina tells Hotaru, “Yeah, I do, Hotaru. However, Duel Monsters is the most popular game in the whole world and if you wanted to make it anyway, you have to make in the Duel Monsters' Pro Leagues.”

 

Ami giggles and replies, with a smile on her lips, “Well, Mina does have a point. Duel Monsters is the most popular sport in the whole world, especially here in Japan. There are indeed schools for inspiring duelists, including the world-famous Duel Academy, here, in Japan.”

 

Luna then states, “Which is the point of the meeting, girls. We feel that Duel Academy has a connection to the new evil that we sense. Rei and Trista tells us that it is radiating most from that area.”

 

Serena tells Luna, with a scoff, “Oh, come on, Luna! Why would a famous school like Duel Academy being doing harboring some kind of great evil?”

 

Atriums tells Serena in reply, “We're not sure, however, remember, there are times that our enemies hide under regular people's noses without them even knowing it. So, Duel Academy might not know about and plus, they could also becoming victims of that evil. We need to investigate.”

 

Mina tells Atriums, “Which is why I need to improve my deck. We might need to be `admitted' to Duel Academy, you know?”

 

Serena exclaims, excitedly, “Become students at Duel Academy?! That's so cool!”

 

Ami tells Serena, in an amazed tone, “I never thought I would see you be amazed about any school, Serena.”

 

Lita tells Ami, “Any regular school Serena doesn't like, Ami, but talking about school like Duel Academy, a school centered around a game, namely the most popular, famous, and influential game of all time to be exact, and Serena will be excited for it. I mean one of Serena's only strengths is in Duel Monsters.”

 

Mina then tells Serena, in a strong tone, “That's another reason that I need to get my deck upgraded! I'm going to beat you this time, Serena!”

 

Serena gives a sly smile and replies, “Isn't my fault that you didn't expect me to use Trap Booster to activate the Mirror Force trap card in my hand and beat the pants off of you.”

 

Hotaru tells Serena, with a kind tone and smile, “You and Mina are the best duelists that I've ever seen, Serena-sama. I hope that I get as good as you.”

 

Serena tells Hotaru, “Don't worry, Hotaru-chan. I know that you will.” Mina then heads inside to take a look at what to buy for her Duel Monsters' deck.

 

Mina, after a few minutes, finishes her purchase for some new Duel Monsters' cards, goes back to the group, and exclaims, “All ready to go!”

 

Atriums says, in relieved tone, “Finally!”

 

Serena tells everyone, “Hold on! Mina isn't the only one that needs new cards! How am I going to keep up my winning streak if I don't have new cards?”

 

Luna yells at Serena, “Oh, Serena!”

 

Serena tells Luna, in a bit of an annoyed tone, “Don't worry, Luna. I will be done in a minute.” However, Serena's stomach gives off a loud growl, she holds it, and says, embarrassed, “After I get a snack at the ice-cream pallor, first. Be back in a minute.” Serena then runs to get some ice-cream, much to the shock of her guardian and advisor.

 

Luna says, shaking her head, “I swear that girl thinks more of her stomach and games than her duties as the Princess of the Moon and Sailor Senshi.”

 

Ami tells Luna, in a kind tone, “Don't worry, Luna. Serena has already done a lot for the planet and deserves to have some time for a `break'.”

 

Lita tells Luna, “Yeah, Luna! Plus, that enemy won't be going anyway until we find it and kick its butt!”

 

Luna tells them, “However, I'm going to follow her to make sure she doesn't get into trouble.”

 

Lita tells Luna, “How about Atriums, Mina, and I come with you, Luna?”

 

Atriums says, in a plain tone, “Good idea.”

 

Lita tells Ami and Hotaru, “Are you two will be all right here? And do you want us to bring you anything?”

 

Hotaru and Ami shake their heads and Hotaru tells Lita in reply, “No, Lita-kun, Ami and I will be all right here.”

 

Lita tells them, “Okay, be back in a minute.” Lita, Luna, Atriums, and Mina went off to follow Serena to make sure nothing `unlucky' happened to her while Hotaru and Ami stay behind in front of the card shop. However, after they were out of sight, Sartorius arrives to see Ami and Hotaru in front of the card shop.

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, “Those must be them, exactly as the cards predicted. I can sense their power within them. Power connected with the moon and exactly who I need to make Jaden Yuki see the light.”

 

As Sartorius walks up to them, Hotaru asks Ami, “How good are you in dueling, Ami?”

 

Ami tells Hotaru, with a kind smile, “I'm not one to brag, but I'm quite good at it. Being the most popular sport in the country and it requires such strategy and skill, I was very much into Duel Monsters myself. I really like it and I also play it to be more social with others.”

 

Hotaru tells Ami, with her kind tone, “I'm pretty good, too. And I hope to get as good as Serena-sama and Mina-chan and go onto the Pro Leagues.”

 

Just then Sartorius calls out, “A good dream, my dear.” Ami and Hotaru jump in surprise and whip around to look at Sartorius. Sartorius bows and tells them, “Forgive me, I didn't mean to startle you. My name is Sartorius, perhaps you have heard of me. If you haven't, maybe you have heard the duelists that I manage, say Aster Phoenix perhaps?”

 

Ami gasps and says, “He is a famous Pro League Duelist. You manage him?”

 

Sartorius tells Ami, “Including other great duelists, my dear. May I have the honor of your names?”

 

Ami tells him, a bit nervously, “Ami Mizuno.”

 

Hotaru tells Sartorius, also a bit nervously, “Hotaru Tomoe.”

 

Sartorius tells the two of them, “It is a pleasure to meet both of you, Ami Mizuno and Hotaru Tomoe. I can tell that you have great potential within the two of you.”

 

Hotaru asks Sartorius, “You do?”

 

Sartorius tells Hotaru, “Yes, my dear. Potential to do great things, especially in the world of dueling. If I can take a minute of your time, I might help you see the light . . . of your talent, of course.”

 

Ami thinks in her mind, “I'm not sure about this guy. There is something that creeps me out about this guy. Something in me tells me that we shouldn't trust him, but he doesn't seem to be bad. He looks a bit weird, but he sounds like a proper gentleman.”

 

Hotaru tells Sartorius, “I'm not sure, Mr. Sartorius.”

 

Sartorius tells Hotaru, “Please, my dear, call me Sartorius. And I promise that it won't take too long.” Sartorius then holds out his right hand, but what Ami and Hotaru don't know is that Sartorius' evil power, the Surge of Light, is flowing down into his hands.

 

Ami tells Sartorius, “M-I mean Sartorius-san, we do have friends waiting for us here.”

 

Sartorius tells Ami, in a kind and generous tone, “And I can assure you, my dear, that what I have to tell you will not take so long. We are just going nearby and your friends are not going anywhere without the two of you.”

 

Ami, knowing her friends, says, a bit nervously, “Yes, you are right. Our friends would never abandon us. I don't see what it can hurt.” Hotaru and Ami then take Sartorius' right hand, but groan out in pain as the Surge of Light is poured into their bodies through Sartorius' hand. The two of them struggle very hard against the evil power and are helped by their Sailor Senshi powers, but it proves too strong for them. Their eyes become blank and their expressions become emotionless for a moment, but their eyes seemly return to normal, however, they gain sly and darker looks in their expressions.

 

Sartorius gives an evil smirk at this and asks them, “Are you ready to see the light, my dears?”

 

Ami and Hotaru nods their heads in unison and Ami replies, with evil sly grin on her lips, “Yes, Master Sartorius.”

 

Hotaru says, also with an evil sly grin on her lips, “Please lead the way to the light, Master Sartorius.”

 

Sartorius tells them, “Follow me and welcome to the Society of Light.”

 

Hotaru and Ami bow in front of Sartorius and tell him in unison, “Thank you, Master Sartorius.” Sartorius then leads the brainwashed Sailor Senshi towards the exit and when they are close, Serena, Lita, Mina, Luna, and Atriums return to see them leaving.

 

Serena, with ice-cream in hand, asks, confused, “Huh? Why is Hotaru and Ami leaving with that guy?”

 

Luna tells Serena, in a serious tone, “I don't know and I don't like it. We have to stop them.” The group rush off to stop them, but when they got outside, Sartorius already had Ami and Hotaru in a personal limo and already driven off into the distance.

 

Atriums says, in a serious tone, “This isn't good. I didn't get a good feeling from that guy that Ami and Hotaru just went off with.”

 

Lita says, “Yeah, me neither. We had better get to the temple.” Luna, Atriums, Serena, Lita, and Mina run off towards Rei's shrine at Cheery Hill, still confused about what happened.

 

(Early the next morning; Within Sartorius' room inside of the `White Dorm')

 

Sartorius is sitting in front of his table with his deck of Tarot cards and shuffling them together into a single pile when Alexis and Chazz enter the room.

 

Chazz tells Sartorius, “You called for us, Master Sartorius?”

 

Sartorius slowly gets up from his chair, turns to face them, and says, with a smile on his lips, “Yes, I did. I would like for you to meet our newest members.” Sartorius points to his right and when Chazz and Alexis look to see Ami and Hotaru standing in front of them. Ami with three white streaks in her dark blue hair is wearing the exact same white version of the female Obelisk Blue uniform and Hotaru is wearing the same uniform as Ami, however, Hotaru looks to be fifteen years old, now, which one year older than before, and she also three white streak in her dark violet hair.

 

Alexis asks Sartorius, “Who are they?”

 

Sartorius tells them, “These are Ami Mizuno and Hotaru Tomoe. Some fine young duelists that I found in Juuban that have seen the light.”

 

Hotaru tells Chazz and Alexis, with an evil grin on her lips, “You don't have to worry about Jaden Yuki much longer either.”

 

Chazz asks Hotaru, “Why is that?”

 

Ami tells Chazz, in a plain tone, “Because we will make sure that Jaden Yuki sees the light at long last.”

 

Chazz asks, a bit annoyed, “What makes you think that you will succeed?”

 

Sartorius tells Chazz, in a dark gentle tone, “Calm, my young friend. You do have a right to be suspicious, but they have certain `abilities' as you can say that can help.”

 

Chazz tells Sartorius, “Forgive me for my outburst, Sartorius-sama.”

 

Sartorius tells Chazz, “Think nothing of it, Chazz. You have been one of my best disciples since you have made many see the light. However, you are indeed for important matters because of that reason.”

 

Chazz tells Sartorius, “I understand.”

 

Sartorius tells Ami, “Ami, I've seen your decks and they are incredible well-balanced like a certain Ra Yellow duelist that is a part of Jaden's `inner circle'. However, he will not see the light as long as Jaden Yuki doesn't see it. Take the power of the truth that I've infused in your improved fairy deck and make Jaden Yuki see the light. You will find him at the Slifer Red dorms, sooner or later. Wait for him there.”

 

Ami bows her head and replies, “Yes, Master Sartorius.” Then our brainwashed Sailor Senshi of Ice and Water heads off on her mission against Jaden Yuki.

 

Hotaru asks Sartorius, “Sartorius-sama, what do wish for me to do?”

 

Sartorius tells her, “You will remain here in the White Dorms until I call for you.” Sartorius tells Chazz, “Chazz, I hope that you would not mind taking her to her room.”

 

Chazz tells Sartorius, “Yes, Master Sartorius.” Chazz then heads off to the rest of the White Dorms while Hotaru follows behind him.

 

Alexis asks Sartorius, “Will that be all for now, sir?”

 

Sartorius is holding the Tarot card known as The Lovers in his right hand and asks, “Not yet, Alexis, my dear. This might sound weird, but tell me, doesn't anyone hold any `affection' to Jaden Yuki?” Alexis winches at this question as a mysterious pain hits her heart and Sartorius asks, curiously, “Is there something wrong Alexis?”

 

Alexis regains her composer and tells Sartorius, “No, Sartorius-sama. I guess that it was something that I just ate. Anyway, during Jaden's first year at Duel Academy, a little girl, who is a dueling prodigy, snuck into Duel Academy under false name and age in order to find Zane, who was our top third-year Obelisk Blue student at the time, since she had a `crush' on him. However, after a close match with Jaden Yuki, in which she lost, her feelings shifted to Jaden, but she had to leave because she was so young. She was around eight and half years old.”

 

Sartorius gives a wide smile at this and says, “Jaden nearly lost to this young girl and she is just below nine years old at the time. Very interesting. A very talented young duelist. By now, she around over nine years old or around ten years old and her dueling skills must have increased in order to allow her into Duel Academy. Most likely, she still desire to join Duel Academy and Jaden Yuki.”

 

Alexis says, a bit annoyed at the last prospect, “Yes, she would be, Master Sartorius.”

 

Sartorius asks Alexis, “Do you know the name of this young dueling prodigy, Alexis?”

 

Alexis replies, in a plain tone, “Blair Flannigan.”

 

Sartorius tells Alexis, “Thank you, Alexis. That will be all.” Alexis bows in front of Sartorius, still wondering that pain in her heart was. However, Sartorius looks down the Tarot card known as The Lovers and thinks in his mind, “Yes, the cards indeed show me the way. In order to get to Jaden Yuki, I need to find a person that harbors feelings for her and this young Blair is the one that I'm looking for. I believe that it is time for her to get her wish and to see the light.” Sartorius returns to his table and picks up another Tarot card, but another one falls from his deck and lands on the ground. When Sartorius turns the card over, he finds it is The Moon Tarot card upside down. Sartorius' eyes widen and he thinks in his mind, “The cards sense a disturbance. It seems like that I might have not gotten all of the warriors under this card since the cards tells me that more `warriors of the moon' are on their way. However, it doesn't mean that my plans have failed. When they come, they will see the light eventually and the sooner, the better.”

 

(Back inside Cherry Hill Shrine; during that same morning)

 

Inside of the temple of our Fire Sailor Senshi, we find her in her miko outfit and praying in front of the Great Fire alone. The others are waiting outside for her and since Ami and Hotaru `disappearance' yesterday and their non-reappearance at home, the girls, Luna, Atriums, and Darien knew there was `foul play' involved. Thankfully, today is Saturday, so, our heroes of Juuban can come together to figure out what's going on and that's exactly what Rei is trying to do by praying to the Great Fire of her temple and calling on the powers of her guardian planet.

 

Rei chants out, in prayer, “I call on the powers of Mars. Great Fire, tell me what has befallen our friends. Have they fallen to our new enemy? What is the purpose of our enemy?” Within a few minutes, the Great Fire roars with great power and Rei gasps as she sees images of the Tarot Card known as The Wheel of Fate, an image of Sartorius, images of destruction and chaos through the universe by the Surge of Light, images of Duel Academy, and images of the Tarot cards known as The Fool, The Hierophant, The Strength, and The Moon come into her mind. The image of The Fool and The Wheel of Fate Tarot cards comes into Rei's mind the most as the images of Sartorius with his evil hands over Earth and Jaden Yuki with all of his Neo-Spacian allies, including Elemental Hero Neos, as they are in defensive stance against Sartorius come into her mind. When the images finally `fade away', Rei takes several gasps of air and says, “I have to tell the others at once.” Rei then immediately prepare to head outside where her friends and allies were waiting for her.

 

(Out in the temple grounds; A brief time soon after)

 

After Rei's visions in front of the Great Fire, we find her with Serena and the other remaining Senshi, with Darien, Luna, and Atriums as she explains about what she saw in front of the Great Fire of her temple. Needless to say, they were quite amazed about what she had to say.

 

When she was done, Mina asks Rei, “Okay, you say this time we are fighting an enemy that uses the same power that we do?”

 

Rei shakes her head and says, “Not exactly. Our new enemy is using some kind of tainted and impure light and he is using it to take over the world. Plus, I believe that he has the ability to see the near future because images of Tarot cards are with him. Tarot cards are usually used by physics in Europe and the Americans to see into a person's destiny and future or into the near future and multiple people's destinies. Each card has a certain meaning and I know that this guy represents The Wheel of Fate card. But I also saw four other Tarot cards: They were The Fool, The Hierophant, The Strength, and The Moon cards.”

 

Lita asks Rei, “What do they mean?”

 

Rei tells Lita, “I don't know, but what I do know is that whatever this guy and this `evil light' is, if he succeeds in his plans, the whole universe will be thrown into chaos and destruction. All life will just die out.”

 

Trista then says, “There is only one power in the universe that can have the power of light and cause great destruction. The Wave or Surge of Light.”

 

Serena asks Trista, “What is that Trista?”

 

Trista tells Serena, “An evil power created millions of years of ago, even before the Moon Kingdom, the planetary kingdoms, and the Silver Alliance. Queen Serenity and I knew of it well. The Surge of Light was created when a white hole released the dark matter of a black hole and the Surge of Light came out of that hole. The Surge of Light is an evil and impure light filled with the negative forces of the universe. Throughout the history of Earth and especially mankind, the Surge of Light has bombarded the planet, causing wars, disasters, crimes, and dictatorship, which in turn causes great tragedy. It's only purpose in the universe is to upset the balance of Life by destroying the darkness in the universe. That's where it also got its other name of `The Light of Ruin'.”

 

Amara says, in a plain tone, “That's not surprising.”

 

Mina asks Trista, curiously, “So, this man that Rei saw in her vision is some kind of host for this `Light of Ruin'?”

 

Trista nods her head and says, “This person that Rei saw in her vision from the Great Fire must be the Avatar for the `Light of Ruin' and the power of this `evil light' is create. Since it is a light, even through part of the negative forces, it can create the illusion of good and brainwash and corrupt people.”

 

Darien says, in a serious tone, “That's what have happened to Ami and Hotaru. This person must have been the one to brainwash them with this evil power.”

 

Serena asks Trista, “Is there anyway to stop him?”

 

Trista replies, “There is a way to stop him. However, it is difficult and complicated. You see, light and darkness are the two forces of Life itself. One cannot live without the other. If darkness destroys light, then darkness will die along with all life. If light destroys darkness, then the light will die with all other life. Darkness and Light can be used by good or evil. It is only a myth that light is used by the positive forces and darkness by the negative forces. In order to defeat this power, we need the opposite of light to defeat this enemy: Darkness.”

 

Lita states, in a plain tone, “There's one problem! Only Hotaru is able to use the powers of darkness among us and she has already been brainwashed by this ass!”

 

Rei then remembers the rest of her vision and says, “Not necessary! I remember something else in my vision. I remember that evil person, the Avatar of the `Light of Ruin', with his hands over the Earth and some guy of our age wearing some kind of Red Blazer with some weird monsters that look like Duel Monsters, but they aren't ones that I've seen before fighting against him. That evil person had The Wheel of Fate Tarot card above him and this other person had The Fool Tarot card above him. And this guy with these monsters, that look like they come from Outer Space, looks like he was fighting against the `host' for this `Light of Ruin'.”

 

Trista's eyes widen and she says, “Ah! There was prophecy in the achieves of the Silver Alliance and the Moon Kingdom of a human on Earth that we will the power to bring balance to the universe when the Surge of Light is threatening to destroy all. That young man that you saw must be the person known as `Chosen One', the one with the power to bring balance to the universe against the `Surge of Light'.”

 

Luna says, “I know of this legend. The universe must have chosen the warrior who can use the powers of darkness and light to bring balance to universe.”

 

Atriums asks Rei, “Did you see where we could be?”

 

Rei tells Atriums in reply, “I saw images of Duel Academy and that blazes this guy was wearing looked exactly like one that Duel Academy students would wear.”

 

Luna says, in a serious tone, “That settles it! We have get to Duel Academy and find the `Chosen One'! If we can prevent him from falling into `Light of Ruin's' host's hands, we will have the greatest chance to stop this evil and save the universe.”

 

Serena asks Luna, “One problem, Luna: We're not students, there. So, we just walk in.”

 

Luna asks, with a sly grin on her lips, “Who said that we are going to walk in?”

 

Atriums says, “Our best chance is to use Sailor Teleport.”

 

Lita exclaims, a bit confused, “How can we do it without Ami with us?!”

 

Luna says, “Sailor Mercury is an important part to use Sailor Teleport, however, Sailor Moon is the vital part of it since she uses the Imperium Silver Crystal. I think that we can substitute the Outer Sailor Senshi for Ami for now, but it is the best that we get as close to Duel Academy as possible, so, we don't as much energy. I have great confidence that it will work.”

 

Mina then calls out, in her usual excited tone, “Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go get our friends back!”

 

Lita nods her head in agreement and exclaims, in her usual excited tone, “Yeah!”

 

Rei stands up and says, “I'll chance out of my shrine maiden clothes and be with you in a minute.”

 

Atriums tells Rei, “We need to get there as quickly as possible, Rei. So, please, try to hurry.”

 

Rei replies, in a serious tone, “Right.” Rei then heads towards her room to change out of her shrine maiden `outfit' into some `regular' clothes while Serena looks at Darien worriedly.

 

Serena asks Darien, “I hope that Ami and Hotaru will be okay. Do you think that we can free them from this mind-control?”

 

Darien tells Serena, reassuringly, “I know that we will. We saved me from Beryl's mind-control and you freed Hotaru from Mistress Nine's influence. And I'm sure together, we can save Hotaru and Ami from this `Light of Ruin'.” Darien tells Serena, in a serious tone, “However, I'm worried about this Duel Academy student that seems to have the fate of the universe in his hands. How will we find him? And can we aid and protect him until he succeeds?”

 

Serena tells Darien, with a smile, “Hey, Rei saw his face in a vision. The instant that she sees him, she will tell us!”

 

Mina then says, in an excited tone, “I just hope that he is cute.”

 

Lita tells Mina, with a chuckle, “Give it a rest, Mina!”

 

(Back on Academy Island; around the same time)

 

Meanwhile, as our Sailor Senshi of Juuban and allies formalized their plan to `invade' Academy Island, we find that on that said island is none other than Jaden Yuki by the wharf/harbor looking out to the sea. Jaden has his usual multi-coursed meal to fill up his stomach, but while his stomach is full, his heart is still saddened and worried and for good reason. Jaden looks through his deck of Elemental Heroes and Neo-Spacians and looks in deep through, which is quite rare for our dueling hero.

 

Jaden says to himself, “Man! I feel full, but I can't seem to get this empty feeling out of me. It is a good thing that it is Saturday because I'm not in the mood for class today. Bastion, Syrus, Hassleberry, and I are nowhere close to figuring a way to stop Sartorius and only Hassleberry seems to have the strength to resist whatever brainwashing he has already put Alexis, Chazz, and the nearly all of the Obelisk Blue students and nearly half of the Ra Yellow students under. Flick, Hummingbird, and Aquos told me that Sartorius and the Society of Light must be stopped, but I don't know how to do it.” The spirit of Winged Kuriboh comes out of its card, flies up to Jaden, makes its usual noses, and Jaden tells Winged Kuriboh, with a wide smile and strong tone, “Don't worry, pal. I won't give up hope. Sartorius might take my friends, my school, and the world from me, but he can't take away my hope. I know there is a way to find to stop him and I will find it.”

 

Just then a deep and strong male voice calls out, “Well said, Jaden Yuki!” Jaden and Winged Kuriboh turn to the source of the voice to find that same transparent figure of an Egyptian Pharaoh that looks similar to Yugi Moto standing before them.

 

Jaden states, in a simple tone, “Hi, there! I'm guessing that you are another spirit!”

 

The figure replies, sounding very much like the adult Yugi Moto, “Yes, I am. It is amazing that you aren't surprised or scared of me.”

 

Jaden tells the figure, with a smile, “Well, I see plenty of dueling spirits including my partner, here, so, I'm not that surprised about that kind of stuff. Through it is a bit of surprise to see one that's human. The majority of spirits that I see are of Duel Monsters like Winged Kuriboh.” Winged Kuriboh then flies up the human spirit and greets him with its excited and happy cries. Jaden smiles and says, with a wide grin, “I see that Kuriboh already likes you.”

 

The figure replies, “Yes, I know. Duel Spirits are quite wise and they can tell when another person or spirit is filled with good or evil.”

 

Jaden asks the figure, “By the way, I didn't catch your name. And why do you look so much like Yugi Moto?”

 

The figure tells Jaden, “My name is Atem, former ruler of Egypt back in ancient. And you can say that I look like Yugi because I was his partner and `alter-ego' at one time.”

 

Jaden states, amazed, “Wait! You are that rumored `alter-ego' that Yugi once had. I've heard rumors about it, but I didn't know it was true.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “Yes, I am. Allow me to explain.” Atem then tells about his life around five millennia in the past, the Shadow Games, his battle with Zorc, his spirit's sealing within the Millennium Puzzle, his `joining' with Yugi Moto when he first assembled the puzzle, and their adventures together.

 

Jaden admitting listened to the story and says, amazed, “Wow, that's so sweet! So, you and Yugi also saved the world from evil!”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “Indeed, I did. Like you did with the Shadow Riders, Yugi and I fought in plenty of deadly Shadow Duels against Pegasus, Marik's dark side, and the evil lord of the Shadow Realm known as Zorc. After Yugi defeated me and claimed the title of `King of Games' in our `Ceremonial Duel', I returned to the Spirit World where I belong, thinking my battles in this world were finished. However, I was wrong.”

 

Jaden asks Atem, “Guess you came here because of Sartorius, huh?”

 

Atem nods his head and says, “Indeed, Jaden. Sartorius possesses an evil power so strong that if he isn't stopped, all life will cease to exist. The Neo-Spacians chose you to weld their power and restore balance to our universe, but right now, you are not strong enough to beat him.”

 

Jaden tells Atem, in a serious tone, “However, I'm not going to stop trying! I made a promise to Aquos and the others that I would stop him and I promised Alexis and Chazz that I would get them back from Sartorius' control!”

 

Atem nods his head and says, with a smile on his transparent lips, “Good. I knew that my former aibou made a good choice in giving you Winged Kuriboh as well as the Neo-Spacians giving you their power as well. You love dueling with all of your heart, you respect and care for your cards, and you believe in the heart of the cards as much, possibly even more, than Yugi and I do. You are indeed the `Chosen One' to pick up where Yugi and I left off. I needed to know for sure, but now, I know, you are the one to stop him and his plans. And I can help you.”

 

Jaden asks Atem, curiously, “You can?”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “Actually, a good friend of mine can increase the power of your deck, but I needed to know if you are ready and I can see that you are. You see, Jaden, the power of your deck allows you to weld the powers of darkness to balance out the light once more, however, you need a greater power than light or darkness to win. You need the power of Life itself, light and darkness, together in order to win.”

 

Jaden asks Atem, “Come again? Because I'm not sure what you mean by that. Can you give me a translation?”

 

Atem then creates a rainbow-like portal ahead of him and says, “Follow me and I shall you the way.” Atem then goes through the portal, but Jaden is unsure at first. However, when Winged Kuriboh goes through the gateway, Jaden's insecurity vanishes in an instant.

 

Jaden exclaims, with a wide grin, “That's good enough for me! Hey, wait up!” Jaden then immediately runs through the gateway and it vanishes after he goes through.

 

(In a unknown location; A brief time later)

 

Now, we find our dueling hero within the ruins of some kind of kingdom somewhere on the moon, but Jaden quickly finds that there is air for him to breath and Atem and Winged Kuriboh have become totally solid.

 

Jaden asks Atem, “Whoa! Where are we, bro? And how come you and Kuriboh are solid?”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “We are in a spirit world within the moon's surface.”

 

Jaden exclaims, shocked and excited, “Whoa! We are on the moon! Seriously?!”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “Are you surprised?”

 

Jaden tells Atem, “Not really. I mean I have been to outer space before, but never on the moon. This is so sweet.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, with a smile, “You remind me of Joey, Jaden. Full of energy and enthusiasm.”

 

Jaden asks Atem, “So, why are we here?”

 

Just then a beautiful female voice calls out, “I asked my friend Atem to bring you here, Jaden Yuki.” Jaden, Winged Kuriboh, and Atem look to the source of the voice to see the spirit of the former Moon Queen, who is solid in this `spirit world', in front of them. Queen Serenity tells Atem, “Thank you for bringing him, King Atem.”

 

Atem bows in front of Queen Serenity and replies, “No, it was my honor, too.”

 

Jaden asks the spirit of the Moon Queen, a bit nervously, “Um . . . Not to sound disrespectful and all, but who are you?”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “I am Queen Serenity, former ruler of the Moon Kingdom. Many millennia ago, there was a kingdom on the moon and what you see before you is the ruins of my kingdom.”

 

Jaden looks at the ruins of the Moon Kingdom and asks, amazed, “Whoa. What happened?”

 

Queen Serenity says in reply, “An evil force destroyed my kingdom and nearly cost the future for my daughter and my people. However, it is best I start from the beginning and explain why you are here.” Queen Serenity then tells Jaden the story of the Moon Kingdom, the Silver Alliance, the origins of the Sailor Senshi, the Silver Millennium, the Negaverse, and the end of the Siler Millennium.

 

When she was done, Jaden says, with enthusiasm in his voice, “Wow! That's so sweet! So, the Sailor Senshi are actually alien princesses and Sailor Moon is your daughter?!”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “Yes, indeed. However, when Queen Beryl and the Negaverse destroyed my kingdom, I sacrificed my life using the treasure of our kingdom, the Imperium Silver Crystal also known as ginzuishou, in order to seal her away and send my daughter, her guardians, my daughter's beloved, and my people to a new life on Earth. However, when the Negaverse awakened, my daughter and her guardians stopped her and I believe that you know her adventures.”

 

Jaden tells Queen Serenity, in his usual tone, “Who hasn't heard of the Sailor Senshi?! They are the greatest heroes other than my Elemental Heroes!” Jaden then asks, curiously, “However, why did you want me to come here?”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “To aid you in your battle against Sartorius and the `Light of Ruin'. I know full well of the evil power that he possesses and if he wins, the whole universe is in danger. Already he put the Princesses of Mercury and Saturn under his control.”

 

Jaden exclaims, shocked, “Whoa! Sartorius brainwashed two of the Sailor Senshi?!” When Queen Serenity nods her head, Jaden says, in a serious tone, “This is getting out of hand! My friends and I have got to put an end to this!”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “I know that you will. You are the chosen one from the prophecy. You are the key to the salivation of Earth and the universe against the `Light of Ruin'. I will give you the additional power that you need, but I need for you to take out your deck of Duel Monsters card in order to give that power to you.”

 

Jaden takes out his dueling deck, his Neos deck, and says, “Okay.”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “You are quick to trust me.”

 

Jaden tells Queen Serenity, “Well, let's just say that first impressions are never everything, but I don't anyone is truly bad unless they make themselves out to be. Plus, I've got a real good feeling about you, your majesty. I don't know, why, but I know that you want to help.”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, with a smile, “Your purity of heart and soul is very inspiring, Jaden. If only other can learn from your good example.”

 

Jaden rubs his head with his free hand and says, “Thanks.” Queen Serenity then holds out her right hand and sends silver colored energy into Jaden's dueling deck. Jaden's dueling deck glows with a bright silver light and then that light `transfers' into Jaden's free hand, turning into a whole set of new cards. Jaden says, pretty amazed, “Whoa.” As Jaden looks through the new cards in his free hand, after he puts his other deck in his card holder attached to his jeans, Jaden's eyes in awe, and he exclaims, “Awesome! These are some pretty sweet cards!”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “These cards will become part of your new `Lunar Neos' deck, infused with the powers of darkness from Neo-Space and the Neo- Spacians and the powers of light from what is left with the power from my kingdom and the whole of the Silver Alliance. It has a brand new set of Elemental Heroes and monsters based on the Silver Alliance and the Silver Millennium as well as new cards that will infused your Neo-Spacian allies with new powers than ever before. What is left of the power of my kingdom and the home kingdoms of my daughter's guardians is inside your deck, now. Use it wisely.”

 

Jaden tells Queen Serenity, “Don't worry, your majesty. I will!” Just then the cards from Jaden's original `Neos deck' glows and Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin and Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab also known as Aquos and Flick appear beside Jaden.

 

Flick tells Queen Serenity, “Please allow us to introduce ourselves. I am Flick, a Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab, and this is my fellow Neo-Spacian, Aquos, a Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin. Queen Serenity does a curtsy and says, “Welcome to the Moon Kingdom, warrior of Neo-Space. And the honor is also mine. The tales of the Neo-Spacian and Neo-Space are well-known through the Silver Alliance. I see that you have chosen your warrior.”

 

Aquos looks at Jaden and says, in his usual intelligent tone, “Indeed, your majesty. Jaden is the only one that possesses the power to stop the Society of Light and Avatar for the `Light of Ruin'. However, it seems like the situation looks pretty grim down on Earth, but all hope isn't lost. I know that with the aid of the power that you gave Jaden, we will prevail against the `Light of Ruin's' Avatar.”

 

Jaden asks Queen Serenity, a bit curiously, “Not to sound stupid and all, but what's the deal with this new deck.”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “A good question, young Jaden. You see, your new `Lunar Neos' deck is infused with a great power, namely the powers of Light and Darkness together, or in simple terms, the very power of Life itself is inside of your deck. You see, no matter how much evil and chaos tries to hide it or destroy it, life will continue to go on, no matter what. And there is no power that's more powerful than that. However, using the power of your new deck won't be easy and it will take a bit of time to master, but I have faith in you, Jaden Yuki.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “As your friends and allies do, Jaden. But before you return with your friends, I have something for you.” Atem then creates a card in his right hand and throws it to Jaden. Jaden catches it and looks at the card, causing to see Slifer the Sky Dragon (X000/X000) God Monster card in his hand.

 

Jaden exclaims, shocked, “This is yours and Yugi's Slifer the Sky Dragon card! This is pretty awesome seeing it up close!”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “I want you to keep it with you.”

 

Jaden asks Atem, perplexed, “Huh? But why? I mean it is so sweet that I'm carrying one of yours and Yugi's God cards, but why give it to me? You said that only those with a connection to your past can use these cards.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, with a smile, “Not exactly, Jaden Yuki. You see, there is a prophecy about the Chosen Duelist that say that since his heart and soul is so pure, untainted by the actions of evil, strong of will and heart, and bonds with the realm of monsters that he is the King of Games for the next generation. My former Aibou chose you to be the next King of Games the day he gave your Winged Kuriboh.”

 

Jaden exclaims, amazed, “ME?!”

 

Atem tells Jaden, nodding his head, “Yes, you. Yugi knew that he can't be the King of Games for all time. He is only mortal like everyone else on Earth and one day, he knew that he needed to pass the torch and the title to a new generation. On that day that you met him, he could tell the bond that you had with your cards and knew, in many ways, that you are just like him. He could tell that Winged Kuriboh belongs to you and he gave it to you, but he was also telling you that he is passing the torch and when the time is right, you will duel him and claim the title `King of Games'.”

 

When Jaden looks at Winged Kuriboh, his `partner' smiles and nods his head, happily, agreeing with Atem, and Jaden says, barely able to comprehend what he had been told, “Whoa. Now, this is too sweet. Me . . . Yugi's chosen successor.”

 

Flick tells Jaden, “However, before that day can come and if you want that day to come, you still must defeat the Society of Light and stop the `Light of Ruin' destroying all life.”

 

Jaden tells Flick, a bit nervously, “Yeah, right. I nearly forgot. Sorry about that.”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “When you return, there will be an opponent waiting for you. It will be one of the two Sailor Senshi under Sartorius' control and you must be careful. Use the new power that I've given you wisely and I need to ask you one favor.”

 

Jaden asks Queen Serenity, “What is it, your majesty?”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, “Please protect my daughter from Sartorius. He will come to know that power that she possesses and if he brings her under his control, then even you might not be able to stop him.”

 

Jaden gives Queen Serenity his usual grin and replies, “Hey, no sweat! I won't dare let a jerk like Sartorius get his brainwashing hands on a girl like Sailor Moon! I mean, she is a real hero!”

 

Queen Serenity tells Jaden, with a smile, “Thank you, Jaden Yuki.” Queen Serenity creates a rainbow portal in front of Jaden, Flick, Aquos, and Winged Kuriboh and she says, “This portal will lead you home to Earth. Good luck.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “I will remain here for while, but I will be joining you, soon. You see, my presence will be needed to defeat Sartorius.”

 

Jaden asks Atem, “I hate to sound rude, Atem, but how? How are you going to come back since you are already a spirit?”

 

Atem tells Jaden, with a smile, “Do not worry, Jaden. There are ways to be reborn into the universe and you will see soon enough.”

 

Jaden tells Atem, “Sweet. When you do come back to life, you and I have got have a duel. I want to see how I stack up against one of the best.”

 

Atem nods his head and replies, “It's a promise.”

 

Jaden tells Atem, “Awesome. Catch you later!” Jaden then walks through the portal, heading back to Earth, the three Duel Monsters look at Queen Serenity and Atem, they nod their heads in some kind of unsaid agreement, and Aquos, Flick, and Winged Kuriboh head back to Earth as well. Soon after, the two Neo-Spacians and Jaden's `spirit partner' passes through the gateway, the portal closes behind them.

 

Atem asks Queen Serenity, “Shouldn't you have told Jaden the truth about his heritage? And the truth about the power he holds that can save the universe?”

 

Queen Serenity tells Atem, “You know that I wanted to with all of my heart, but you know that I can't until the time is right and his strength is strong enough to handle the truth and his true power. However, I hope that he doesn't find out too late.”

 

Atem tells Queen Serenity, “As do I, your majesty. If that happens, the universe and all life in it will cease to exist.” Atem thinks in his own mind, “Good luck, Jaden. Trust in yourself and in your deck. Now, more than ever, the universe needs a hero.”

 

(Soon after; Back on planet Earth)

 

We return to wharf/pier on Academy Island as Jaden shields his eyes from the sun with his right hand, which has the new cards given to him by Queen Serenity in his hand.

 

Jaden looks through the cards, saw that they were real, and says, with his usual smile, “Well, I shouldn't be surprised. But man, I can't wait to use these in a duel. These new cards are so sweet.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Jaden!” When Jaden looks to the source of the voice, he sees none other than Bastion, top duelist in Ra Yellow, running up towards him.

 

Jaden asks Bastion, “Hey, Bastion, what's up?”

 

Bastion tells Jaden, after he regains his breath from running, “Jaden, I'm glad that I found you. There is this girl in front of the Slifer Red dorms that looking for you. She's challenged you to a duel.”

 

Jaden asks Bastion, “A duel for me?”

 

Bastion tells Jaden, in a worried tone, “However, she is a member of the Society of Light. She is wearing the uniform of those students brainwashed by Sartorius and she wants you to `see the light'. But Jaden, I have to warn, there is something different about this girl.”

 

Jaden asks Bastion, “Different?”

 

Bastion tells Jaden, “She seems to possess unusual amount of super-strength and speed. She is faster and strong than a regular human and she held her own against Hassleberry in a contest of strength.”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, “Ah! She must be one of the Sailor Senshi that Sartorius brainwashed! The one that Queen Serenity warned that would be coming to duel me.”

 

Bastion notices the cards in Jaden's right hand and asks, curiously, “New cards?”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, with his wide smile, “You'll see! Now, come on, there is a duel I've got to get to!” Jaden then runs off in the direction of the Slifer Red dorms with Bastion quickly following behind.

 

(In front of the Slifer Red dorms; Sometime soon after)

 

In front of the Slifer Red dorms, we find Tyranno Hassleberry, a first-year Ra Yellow student and Jaden's newest friend, thrown to the ground pretty hard by our brainwashed Sailor Senshi of Ice and Water, through he doesn't know it.

 

Syrus, Jaden's best friend who has been recently promoted to Ra Yellow, goes over to Hassleberry and asks, “Are you okay, Hassleberry?”

 

Hassleberry gets to his feet and tells Syrus, “Yeah, private, I'm okay. But I never expect to get my butt handed to me by a gal.”

 

Syrus looks at Ami and says, worriedly, “Something tells me that she isn't any ordinary girl.”

 

Ami tells Syrus and Tyranno, in a very serious and dark tone, “Where is Jaden Yuki?”

 

Tyranno roars out, angrily, “Sorry, that's classified! Nobody knows where the Sarge goes, but us!”

 

Ami looks at the Slifer Red dorm and says, with a sly evil smirk on her lips, “Fine. If Jaden Yuki doesn't get here, I guess that I will have to make the Slifer Red dorm students see the light.”

 

Syrus stands up and says, in a brave tone, “No way! We're not going to let you brainwash our dorm!”

 

Tyranno calls out, “Damn right, we aren't! You might be a girl, but we don't show any mercy when it comes to combat.”

 

Ami tells Syrus and Tyranno, “Okay, then `get your game on'.”

 

Just then Jaden Yuki's voice calls out, “Hey! That's my line!” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Jaden Yuki, with a duel disk attached to his left arm, running up towards them.

 

Syrus exclaims, happily, “Jaden!”

 

Tyranno tells Jaden, “Welcome back, Sarge!”

 

Jaden tells his friends, “Sorry that I'm late!” Jaden then looks to Ami and tells his friends, with his usual smile, “Something tells me its time for me to set up.”

 

Ami tells Jaden, with a evil smile on her lips, “Jaden Yuki. You are not what I expected, but I shouldn't be surprised.”

 

Jaden asks Ami, “Before we throw down, I need ask one thing: Mercury or Saturn?” Ami gasps in shock and Jaden's three other friends look at him pretty confused.

 

Bastion asks Jaden, “What do you mean by that Jaden?”

 

Ami creates her henshin wand in her right hand and tells Jaden, “I'm Mercury.”

 

Jaden says, in a serious tone, “I was right! You are one of the Sailor Senshi!”

 

Jaden's three friends gasp in shock and Syrus asks Jaden, “You mean that girl is one of the Sailor Senshi of Juuban?”

 

Ami says, with an evil smirk on her lips, “The one and only. I'm Sailor Mercury, Sailor Senshi of Water and Ice. However, there is no point of secret identities when the whole world sees the light.”

 

Bastion says, worriedly, “Oh, dear! Gents, we might have a problem! If Sartorius brainwashed members of the Sailor Senshi of Juuban, then we will have a problem in our hands. They are thought to only be myths, at first, but there is a lot of evidence that they are real. And it is said that they possess super-human strength and speed.”

 

Tyranno exclaims, shocked, “Sam hill! No one that girl knocked me down to the ground! She's got super-powers of some sort!”

 

Jaden tells his friends, with a smile, “Not a problem, guys! When I set Sailor Mercury free, we'll be safe!”

 

Ami tells Jaden, with a evil grin on her lips, “No, Jaden, you're not going to win. I'm going to win and I'm going to make you see the light. And you will be right where you belong, by Master Sartorius' side. And for now on, call me Ami Mizuno.”

 

Jaden activates his duel disk, inserts his new dueling deck, which is a combo of his `old' cards and his new cards from Queen Serenity, inside, and exclaims, “We'll see, Ami! Now, get your game on!”

 

Ami tells Jaden, in an emotionless tone, “As you wish!” Ami and Jaden then activate their duel disk, which register 4000 life-points for each duelist.

 

However, a familiar female voice calls out, “Ami, stop!” When everyone looks to the source of the voice, they see Darien, Luna, Atriums, and the other Sailor Senshi, in their civilian forms, running towards them.

 

Tyranno asks, perplexed, “Who are they?”

 

Bastion replies, whispering, “Something tells me they are friends of this Sailor Senshi and they could be the other Sailor Senshi girls.”

 

Lita asks Ami, “Hey, Ami, what are you doing?”

 

Mina states, a bit weirded out, “And what with that uniform?”

 

Ami says, with a sly smile on her lips, “I've joined the Society of Light and I have been infused with the truth. The truth that all darkness must be destroyed and all people on Earth must see the light. And what I am doing is making sure that this Duel Academy student sees the light as well. Under the orders from Master Sartorius.”

 

Serena asks, perplexed, “Who is Sartorius?”

 

Tyranno tells Serena, “One rotten egg, ma'am!”

 

Rei asks Tyranno, “You know him?!”

 

Bastion tells Rei in reply, “Indeed, we do. Sartorius posed as a manager from top duelists like Aster Phoenix, but what he really is a leader of a secret society known as the Society of Light. From what we know, he is planning to take over the world by brainwashing it and turning it `white'. He has already brainwashed many students, here, at Duel Academy, including two of our friends. And by the looks of you, I don't think that you are students here.”

 

Mina tells Bastion, “We wish! However, we aren't students, here! We came here because two of our friends, Ami Mizuno and Hotaru Tomoe, mysterious left our home in Juuban and we think it is that Sartorius guy that did it.”

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, “They are from the same district that the Sailor Senshi are from! Could I be right about them?!”

 

Syrus says, worriedly, “It looks like Sartorius is already trying to `recruit' new members outside of Duel Academy. Not good!”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “No, its all good, Syi! I'll free their friends and then we'll stop Sartorius!” Jaden then asks the group of heroes and heroines, “By the way, I need to know something. Would you girls be any chance the Sailor Senshi?” All of our heroes and heroines gasp in shock at Jaden's question.

 

Ami says, still with her evil smirk on her lips, “There is no point to secret identities, girls. They already know who I am.”

 

Mina exclaims, shocked, “Ami, you told them?!”

 

Jaden tells Mina, “Actually, I kind of guessed that and I had the little from a few new friends.”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “What new friends, Jaden?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “Well, Syi, it was one step for a student and one giant leap for all of duelist kind! I was the first duelist on the moon itself!”

 

Tyranno calls out, “Sam hill! That's pretty awesome!”

 

Jaden tells his friends, “I'll tell you about it later!”

 

Ami says, in a plain tone, “What does it matter? Soon, you and along with my fellow Senshi will join Sartorius in the light, Jaden Yuki!”

 

Jaden then looks at Ami and exclaims, “Okay, it is time for you and me to get our game on, Ami!” Ami and Jaden draw five cards from their dueling decks and prepared to duel.

 

Jaden and Ami exclaim in unison, “Duel!”

Ami draws one card from her deck and says, “I will start things off.” Ami looks at her hand, puts one card on her duel disk, and exclaims, “Now, I summon The Agent of Wisdom-Mercury in defense mode!” Soon after, the Agent of Wisdom-Mercury (0/1700) appears on the field in defense mode. Ami then puts one card in the spell/trap slots of her duel disk and states, “I will end my turn with one card face-down on the field.

 

Jaden then says, “It's time to throw down.” Jaden then draws one card from his deck, looks at his hand, puts one card in the spell/trap slots of his duel disk, and exclaims, “First, I start off with Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and then I discard two!” Jaden draws three more cards from his deck, discards two cards, Hero Kid (300/600) and Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200), to his graveyard, and calls out, putting one card on his duel disk, “Hey, Ami, you aren't the only cosmic hero on Earth! Meet Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin!” A huge wave comes onto the field and Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin (600/800) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Luna, Atriums, and Rei secretly gasp in shock and Rei says in a whisper, “Those are one of the monsters that I saw in my vision.”

 

Michelle asks Rei, in a whisper, “Is that the person that you saw in your vision?”

 

Rei nods her head and says, in a whisper, “He's the one. I never forget that face and especially that haircut.”

 

Atriums says, in a whisper, “He must be the `Chosen One'. Those monsters are known as Neo-Spacians, resides of Neo-Space, areas in the universe in boarding the realms of light and darkness.”

 

Mina asks Atriums, in a whisper, “You've seen them?”

 

Luna whispers in reply, “No, we haven't, but the myths and legends about them are well-known through the Moon Kingdom as well as the rest of the Silver Alliance. If they chose this young lad to weld their power, then he must be the one that can stop the `Light of Ruin'.”

 

Lita then whispers, “Well, let's hope that he can save Ami.”

 

Jaden then puts another card in his duel disk and exclaims, “That's not all, Ami! Next, I activate the Spell card: Bubble Blast!” Just then a hologram of a spell card with Sailor Mercury using her Mercury Bubble Blast appears on the field behind Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin.

 

Ami asks, confused, “What is that card? What does that do?”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “What does it do?! Well, I'll tell you! This card can only be activated when I have Water-Attribute monster on the field and as long as I have a Water monster on the field, this card will stay here! But I don't have Water monster on my field at any time, my card goes `boom'. Anyway, this card allows me to switch a monster in defense mode in attack mode and vice-versa! Pretty sweet, huh?!” Jaden then takes another card from his hand, his Field Spell card slot on his duel disk opens, and he exclaims, “But that's not all! Next, I activate this new Field Spell! Skyscraper III-Lunar Palace!”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “What is that card?”

 

When Tyranno and Syrus look at Bastion, he tells them, embarrassed, “Don't look at me.” Jaden inserts the card into the Field Spell slot and when the slot closes, the field around everyone changes to the surface of the moon and behind Jaden, an exact duplicate of the Moon Kingdom palace appears behind him.

 

Luna whispers, surprised, “That looks exactly like the Moon Kingdom Palace!”

 

Lita asks, in a whisper and perplexed, “But how can it be a Duel Monsters card?”

 

Trista thinks in her mind, “I know exactly who could have given him that card and I'm not surprised about this since I know our queen helps out all of her children.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “Pretty sweet card, huh? Well, this big palace behind him increase all Elemental Heroes' and Neo-Spacians' attack points by 500!” Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin's stats increase from 600/800 to 1100/800! Jaden then calls out, “Now, Aquos, switch her monster in attack mode! Bubble Blast!” Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin fires a blast of bubbles from its mouth that forces The Agent of Wisdom-Mercury into attack mode. Jaden then calls out, “Now, Aquos, attack her monster with Echo Surge!” Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin launches a wave of sound from his mouth that destroys Ami's monster and taking 1100 life-points with it.

 

Ami calls out, “Not so fast! I reveal my trap! Archlord's Summons!” Just then Ami's face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with Archlord Zerato with a bright light in front of it. Ami tells Jaden, “This trap card allows me to summon on Fairy-type monster from my deck when you destroy another Fairy-type monster on the field . . . as long as it is a four-star or less monster.” Ami goes through her deck, takes one card out of it, puts it on her duel disk, and shouts out, “Now, I summon my Warrior of Zera in attack mode!” To replace her pervious monster, Warrior of Zera (1600/1600) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots of his duel disk and calls out, “Well, I play the Continuous Spell Card, Mirage of Nightmare! Thanks to this, I can draw cards from my deck until I have four cards in my hand during your next Standby Phase, but during my next Standby Phase, I have to randomly discard the same amount of cards from my hand to my graveyard!”

 

Ami tells Jaden, with her evil grin on her lips, “Fine by me! I have the power of destiny by my side!”

 

Jaden tells Ami, as he puts the last two cards in the spell/trap slots, “Okay, I'll end with two face-downs!”

Ami draws one card from her deck and exclaims, “My move!”

 

Jaden calls out, “And my draw! Forget my Mirage of Nightmare?! Well, I didn't! Now, I get to draw four new cards from my deck!” Jaden then draws four new cards from his deck into his hand and exclaims, “Next, I will reveal this little face-down, right here. Emergency Provisions!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Emergency Provisions Quick-Spell card and Jaden states, “When I ditch one spell or trap card my field, I regain 1000 life-points! And the card that I choose to ditch . . . my Mirage of Nightmare!” Jaden's Mirage of Nightmare is sent to the graveyard and Jaden gains 1000 additional life-points.

 

Ami says, in a serious tone, “I don't care! You are not the only one that can draw cards!” Ami puts one card in the spell/trap slots and shouts out, “Now, I play Pot of Greed! This allows me to draw two cards from my deck!” Ami draws two more cards from her deck and put them into her hand. Ami then puts another card on her duel disk and shouts out, “Next, I summon The Agent of Creation-Venus in attack mode!” Besides Warrior of Zera, The Agent of Creation-Venus (1600/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Ami then declares, “Next, I activate my monster special ability! By paying 500 life-points, I can summon one Mystical Shine Ball from my deck or hand and special summon it to the field!” Ami then goes through her deck, takes out one card, puts the card on the duel disk, and Mystical Shine Ball (500/500) is summon to the field in attack mode while Ami's life-points drop by 500. Ami then commands, “Warrior of Zera, show that dolphin the meaning of `extinction'. Fairy's Blade!” Warrior of Zera rushes in to attack Aqua Dolphin with a sword that has a blade of pure light coming out of the hilt.

 

Jaden shouts out, “Sorry, I don't think so! Negate Attack!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Negate Attack trap card, which creates a tornado that stops Warrior of Zera's attack. Jaden says, with his usual sly grin, “Sorry, Ami, but thanks to this card, your attack is stopped before it began. Plus, your battle phase is ended for this turn. That's all she wrote!”

 

Ami puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, in an annoyed tone, “I put two cards face-down on the field and end my turn!”

Jaden says, as he draws his card, “Sweet. My turn.” Jaden looks at his cards and says, as he puts one card in the spell/trap slots of his duel disk, “All right, I start off with Silent Doom! This spell card allows me to summon one monster from my graveyard and return it to the field in defense mode! And I choose my Hero Kid!” Just then Hero Kid (300/600) appears on the field in defense mode.

 

Ami says, shocked, “I never sent that card to grave!”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “No, you didn't . . . but I did when I played my Graceful Charity spell! However, that isn't all! When my Hero Kid is special summoned, like just right now, I get to summon two more Hero Kids from my deck! So, it is time for a triple threat!” Jaden takes two more cards from his deck, puts them onto his duel disk, and two more Hero Kid (300/600) monsters appear on the field.

 

Ami says, not worriedly, “With only three hundred attack points, they aren't much threat to my monsters.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, with a sly smirk, “They might not be, but I'm about to summon someone who is.” Jaden then calls out, “And now, I sacrifice two of my little dudes to summon this!” Two of the Hero Kids leap into the air and vanish in streams of light. Jaden takes one card from his hand, slaps it onto his duel disk, and shouts out, “It is the one and only . . . drum role, please . . . Elemental Hero Neos!” Just then an image of the Milky Way appears above the hologram copy of the Moon Kingdom palace and out of that image, Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and goes besides Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin.

 

Tyranno exclaims, excitedly, “Awesome! He brought one of his most powerful soldiers to the field!”

 

Jaden then calls out, “And thanks to my Lunar Palace, Neos' attack points increase by 500!” Elemental Hero Neos' stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000! Jaden then shouts out, “Now, Aquos, use Bubble Blast to switch her Venus in defense mode!” Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin then uses the power of the spell card to switch The Agent of Creation-Venus from attack into defense mode.

 

Bastion says, with a smile, “Excellent! With zero defense points, that monster can't stand up to either of Jaden's monsters. This duel might be done in no time!”

 

Jaden calls out, “Now, Neos, attack her Warrior of Zera with Cosmic Crush!” Elemental Hero Neos jumps into the air, his right fist gets covered in some kind of crystal blue energy, and he charges at Ami's Warrior of Zera.

 

Ami then calls out, “You've made a grave error, Jaden! I activate my White Protection Veil!” Ami's face-down is revealed to be a trap card with a nearly crystal clear white veil shielding a monster.

 

Jaden asks, shocked, “What is that?”

 

Ami tells Jaden, with an evil sly smile, “My trap allows me to negate your attack and end your battle phase as long as I discard one Light Attribute monster from my hand.” Ami then shows Jaden another Mystical Shine Ball (500/500) monster card and says, “And I think it will serve me best that I discard this one.” Ami discards the monster card and white energy field covers Ami's Warrior of Zera causing Jaden's Neos to hit it and its attack stopped right in its tracks. Ami then says, “Plus, my trap card has another special effect. It allows me to get draw any Light Attribute monster from my deck and add it to my hand.”

 

Jaden says, a bit worriedly, “Oh no. Sounds like trouble.”

 

Ami goes through her deck, takes out one card, puts her deck back in her duel disk, shows Jaden the card that she took out, which is an Archlord Zerato (2800/2300) monster card, and says, “You should be worried. I took my Archlord Zerato from my deck.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, with a smile, “Pretty sweet move, Ami.” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I end my turn with one face-down.”

 

Syrus says, worriedly, “Oh man! That's a pretty powerful monster that she drew! Jaden will be in real trouble if she summons that.”

 

Bastion tells Syrus, in his usual logical tone, “There is a bit of good news. She can't summon that monster unless she has the field spell known as The Sanctuary in the Sky and she has one Warrior of Zera to sacrifice. Unless she draws that card, now, she won't be able to summon it.”

 

Ami draws one card from her deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and states, “Now, I play my Dark Spell Regeneration! This card allows me to play any spell card in either of our graveyards and I choose to play my Pot of Greed! This gives me two more cards from my deck!” Ami draws two more cards from her deck, looks at them, gives a sly smile, and she declares, as her Field Spell slot on her duel disk opens, “Now, I destroy your palace by playing this! The Field Spell: The Sanctuary in the Sky!”

 

Bastion exclaims, worriedly, “Okay, gents, it is time to worry.” Soon after, Ami plays the card and Jaden's Lunar Palace starts to crumble to the ground as a huge palace in the clouds appears behind Ami while Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin's stats drop back to 600/800 and Elemental Hero Neos' stats drop back to 2500/2000.

 

Ami asks Jaden, “How does it feel to lose your palace? Now, my victory is assured.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, with a wide grin, “Actually, you might want to take another look!”

 

Ami asks, perplexed, “What do you mean?” Just then out of the crumbling hologram of Jaden's Lunar Palace, silver light bursts out of the crumbling structure, and Ami asks, confused, “What's going on?”

 

Jaden tells Ami, as he takes out one card from his dueling deck, “Well, you see, by destroying my Lunar Palace, you've activated its special effect. When this spell card goes the graveyard, I can summon this bad boy from my deck! Actually, that's not totally right . . . I should say bad girl! Now, I call to the field . . . my Elemental Hero Selene in attack mode!”

 

Everyone else gasps in shock and Syrus asks, perplexed, “Elemental Who?!” Jaden holds up the monster card high into the air, it sends a silver beam of light into the air that transformed into a huge phoenix, and out of the silver flames of that phoenix, a female figure emerges. The female figure has long and wavy angelic silvery-white hair that extends all the way to her feet, the golden crescent moon mark on her forehead, beautiful sparkling silver eyes, cherry red lips, wearing golden eight-pointed star earrings, and wearing a sailor fuku similar to Eternal Sailor Moon's fuku, expect it has a dark blue choker, silver V-style sailor color, pure white gloves, silver heart jewel with eight silver angel wings attached to the heart jewel in the bust area of her bodysuit, golden shoulder pads, sparkling silver mini-skirt, white high-heeled boots similar to Eternal Sailor Moon's boots, and eight silver angel wings coming out of her backside. In her right hand is a beautiful silver dragon sword that she swings around her head before she lands on the ground in front of Jaden.

 

Luna thinks in her mind, pretty shocked, “That Duel Monsters' card looks similar to a Sailor Senshi!”

 

Jaden says, with a wide grin, “Meet my newest Elemental Hero or should I say Heroine . . . my Elemental Hero Selene! And I can tell you that she is more than a pretty face!” Elemental Hero Selene is a ten-star monster with 3000/3000 stats!

 

Bastion says, in a serious tone, “I can say Jaden is right in this case. With 3000 attack and defense points, this is one powerful monster, but I don't understand is where he could get this kind of card from.”

 

Jaden then says, with a wide smile, “That's not all. My Elemental Hero Selene has some sweet special abilities! First, she gains 500 attack points for every Elemental Hero and Neo-Spacian in my graveyard! And thanks to Graceful Charity, I put my Bubbleman in the graveyard. This gives my Selene an additional 500 attack points!” An image of Bubbleman appears and goes into Elemental Hero Selene, which raise her stats from 3000/3000 to 3500/3000!

 

Ami says, in a serious tone, “It doesn't matter to me! First, I switch my Venus back into attack mode!” The Agent of Creation-Venus switches back from defense mode into attack mode. Ami calls out, “Next, I sacrifice my Warrior of Zera to summon this! My Archlord Zerato!” Warrior of Zera vanishes in a column of blue light as it is sent to the graveyard and replacing it is Archlord Zerato (2800/2300). Ami then says, with a sly grin, “But I'm not done, yet! Since that was a Special Summon, I can do this! I sacrifice my Mystical Shine Ball in order to summon my Agent of Judgment-Saturn!” Ami's Mystical Shine Ball vanishes from the field as The Agent of Judgment-Saturn (2400/0) is summoned to the field to take its place.

 

Tyranno says, in a confused tone, “It doesn't matter how many soldiers that she has. They can't stand up to that new female soldier of Jaden's. Her attack points are stronger than either of hers.”

 

Bastion tells Tyranno, “It doesn't matter. You see, with Archlord Zerato, as long as that field spell, The Sanctuary in the Sky, remains on the field, she can use her monster's special effect. By discarding one Light attribute monster to the graveyard, she can wipe out all of Jaden's monsters.”

 

Syrus exclaims, worriedly, “Oh no! Aster did that in their very first duel when he used that `slapped together deck' of his!”

 

Ami states, with a sly grin, “If you are worried, Jaden, you should be. By my calculations, this is your very last turn. First, I activate my Venus' special effect! I sacrifice 500 of my life-points to summon one Mystical Shine Ball from my deck to the field!” Ami's life-points drop by 500, she goes through her deck, takes out a card before she puts her deck back into her duel disk, puts the card on the duel disk, and her third Mystical Shine Ball (500/500) appears on the field in attack mode. Ami then calls out, “Next, I reveal my trap! Compulsory Evacuation Device!” Ami's other face-down card is revealed to be the trap card known as Compulsory Evacuation Device and Ami says, “This trap card can return one monster from the field to the owner's hand and I chose to bring my Mystical Shine Ball back to my hand.” Mystical Shine Ball vanishes in a beam of light and the monster card returns to Ami's hand.

 

Jaden says, a bit worriedly, “Oh no. I don't like the look of this.”

 

Ami tells Jaden, “You should. Now, I discard my Mystical Shine Ball to activate my Zerato's special effect.” Ami discards the monster card to her graveyard and Ami shouts out, “Now, Zerato, destroy all of his monsters!” Archlord Zerato leaps into the air, Ami's field spell sends energy into him, and Archlord Zerato fires that energy at those monsters, but what Ami doesn't notice is Elemental Hero Selene giving off a slight silver glow from her body as the assault hits causing a massive explosion and covering Jaden in dust.

 

Syrus, Bastion, and Tyranno exclaim, in horror, “Jaden!”

 

Ami says, with an evil smile on her lips, “With all of your monsters gone, I can finish off your life-points and then you will finally see the light, Jaden Yuki.” However, when the smoke and dust cleared, Elemental Hero Selene, Elemental Hero Neos, and Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin are still on the field with only Jaden remaining Hero kid being destroyed. Ami exclaims, shocked, “This can't be! All of your monsters should be destroyed!”

 

Jaden exclaims, laughing, “Sorry, but not this time! You see, as long my Elemental Hero Selene is on the field, all of my Elemental Heroes, including her, and Neo-Spacian monsters are protected from all my opponent's monster, trap, and spell card effects. Pretty sweet, huh?”

 

Ami says, very annoyed, “Well, if you want to make this hard, Jaden, then so be it! However, I heard of your `tricks' and I came up with a backup plan.” Ami puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “First, I activate my White Fairy's Saber spell and equip it to my Zerato!” Just then a pure white saber appears in Archlord Zerato's right hand and Ami says, with an evil grin, “This sword can only be equipped to fairy type monster and it gives my Archlord an addition 1000 attack points!” Archlord Zerato's stats increase from 2800/2300 to 3800/2300!

 

Jaden says, in a plain tone, “That's not good.”

 

Ami then shows Jaden a White Veil spell card and says, “And now, I play this! Recognize it?”

 

Tyranno exclaims, worriedly, “That's not good! It's the same card that Chazz use to beat Alexis and brainwash her into Sartorius' Society of Light!”

 

Bastion says, just as worriedly, “With that card, when her monster attacks, all of Jaden's spell and trap cards are automatically destroyed.” Soon after, Ami puts the White Veil card into the spell/trap slots of the duel disk and Archlord Zerato's body turns pure white and its eyes become bright violet.

 

Ami calls out, “Archlord Zerato, destroy Jaden's Elemental Hero Selene with White Light's Blade!” When Archlord Zerato leaps into the air, Ami shouts out, “And thanks to my Sacred White Veil, all of your spell and trap cards are automatically destroyed. So, say goodbye to your Bubble Blast spell and face-down card.” Just then Jaden's Bubble Blast Continuous Spell card and face-down card are destroyed and sent to the graveyard. Soon after, Archlord Zerato slashes through Elemental Hero Selene's chest causing her to scream out as she is destroyed in a huge explosion and Jaden loses 300 life-points.

 

Jaden shouts out, shocked, “Selene!”

 

Ami says, with an evil smile, “Prepare for the end.” Just then Ami gasps as she sees two new face-down cards on Jaden's side of the field and she exclaims, “What's going on here?! My White Veil should have destroyed all spell and trap cards on your side of the field!”

 

Jaden tells Ami, with a smile, “Well, I should thank you for that.” Jaden takes out one card from his graveyard, shows it to be Calling Magic spell card, and says, “This is the card that was face-down and you sent to the graveyard with that White Veil card of yours. When Calling Magic is sent to the graveyard through a spell or trap card effect, I'm allowed to play two new spell cards from my deck and place them face-down on the field.”

 

Ami tells Jaden, “Don't think that you will be able to use them, Jaden Yuki! Thanks to my White Fairy's Saber, all I need to do is sacrifice 1000 of my life-points and I can use Archlord Zerato in a second attack. And with the monsters that I have, you have 4700 life-points left and my three monster's attacks can take exactly that away from you. So, this duel is already over and you will see the light.”

 

Jaden calls out, “Wrong! Now, I activate one of my face-down cards! Another Emergency Provisions!” Jaden's face-down spell card is revealed to be the Quick Spell card known as Emergency Provisions and Jaden states, “You know how it works! I kick a spell or trap card from my side of the field to grave and gain 1000 life-points!” Jaden's other face-down card is destroyed and Jaden regains 1000 life-points.

 

Ami then states, in a serious tone, “It doesn't matter to me to Jaden. This duel is already over! Archlord Zerato, attack and destroy his Elemental Hero Neos!” As Ami's life-points drop by 1000 points, Archlord Zerato rushes in and slashes Neos with his sword, destroying him, and taking 1300 life-points with that attack.

 

Jaden exclaims, shocked, “No, Neos!”

 

Ami then calls out, “Venus, show his Dolphin the meaning of the `Kiss of Death'! Destroy him with Star Arrow!” The Agent of Creation-Venus fires an arrow with star energy inside and destroys Neo-Spacian Aqua-Dolphin, taking 1000 life-points with that attack.

 

Jaden shout out, horrified, “Aquos!”

 

Ami exclaims, seriously, “Now, Saturn, attack his life-points directly with Judgment Light Sphere!” The Agent of Judgment-Saturn then fires a sphere of energy right into Jaden and he cries out as he loses 2400 life-points in one shot. When Jaden falls to his knees, Ami says, with a sly evil grin on his lips, “It is time that you released the truth, you can't beat me, Jaden. Destiny is on my side and thanks to the power given to me by Master Sartorius, you shall see the light that I did.”

Serena shouts out, worriedly, “Ami, please stop!” When Ami looks at Serena with an expressionless look on her face, Serena tells Ami, in a begging tone, “Ami, this isn't like you. You have to fight it. You are being used and controlled by this `Sartorius' character. You are Sailor Mercury, a champion of love and justice. You can't let him use you for evil.” As Ami looked into Serena's eyes, a huge pain rips through her chest and she grasps her heart in pain.

 

Ami thinks in her mind, “What is this?! What is this pain in my heart?! It hurts!”

 

Tyranno asks, confused, “What is wrong with her?”

 

Bastion says, in a serious tone, “Somehow, that her friend's words broke through to her and now, her heart is fighting Sartorius' brainwashing. She's starting to `wake up' and break free from his control.”

 

Mina tells Ami, in a begging tone, “Come on, Ami, I know that you are stronger than this! Fight it! Fight this mind-control!”

 

Ami roars out, angrily, “Shut up! I wasn't ever strong! Thanks to Master Sartorius, I'm finally over my weakness and shyness and now, I'm a strong and powerful person bathed within the light!”

 

Rei calls out to Ami, “Expect that light is fused with negative energy. You are just being used to take over the world and destroy the universe! Ami, it is your kindness and caring that made you strong and this Sartorius character is taking that strength away from you. We're your friends, Ami! Come back to us!”

 

Jaden's voice then calls out, “Hey, why don't you leave this to me?!” When everyone looks to the source of Jaden's voice, he has his wide grin on his lips and he says, really confidently, “Don't worry, I will get your friend back. Especially since I'm about to win this duel that's this much fun.”

 

Bastion says, worriedly, “Oh no. He is delirious.”

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, “No, I'm not.” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “First, I activate my Pot of Greed! Now, I draw two new cards from my deck!” Jaden draws two more cards from his deck, looks at his hand, and says, with a wide grin, “Sweet.” Jaden puts another card in the spell/trap slots and shouts out, “Now, I play my Monster Reborn! This allows me to bring back my Elemental Hero Neos!” Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) then reappears on the field in attack mode. Jaden then shows Ami another spell card that has a picture of Elemental Hero Avian in front of a deck of Duel Monsters cards and says, “Next, I activate this! My Hero Draw spell card! This sweet spell card allows me to draw two cards for every Elemental Hero on my side of the field! And since I've got Neos on my side, I get two more cards!” Jaden then draws two more cards from his deck into his hand, looks at his hand, and says, with a smile, “All right!”

 

Syrus says, simply, “Jaden must have gotten some good cards.”

 

Jaden then opens his Field Spell card slot and exclaims, “Next, I play the Field Spell: Neo-Space!” Just then Ami's field spell is destroyed and the whole dueling field is covered in the field that looks like the inside of the aurora. Jaden then says, “This spell card gives my Elemental Hero Neos an additional 500 attack points!” Elemental Hero Neos' stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000!

 

Ami tells Jaden, “Well, his attack points don't come close to my Archlord Zerato's attack points.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “For now, anyway.” Jaden then puts another card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Now, I play my Star Revival Spell!” Just then a hologram of a spell card with the picture of Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin with a glowing star seed in front of him. Jaden tells Ami, “This spell card can only be activated when Neo-Space is on the field! This sweet spell card allows me to summon one Neo-Spacian from the graveyard back to the field! And I choose my Aqua Dolphin!” Besides Elemental Hero Neos, Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin (600/800) reappears on the field. Jaden then shouts out, “Now, go, Contact Fusion!”

 

Ami asks, perplexed, “Contact Fusion?!”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “That's right, Ami. Contact Fusion! You see, Neo-Spacians can fuse with my Hero Neos without a Polymerization card!” Jaden then declares, “Neos! Aquos! Join together to form the Elemental Hero . . . Aqua Neos!” Elemental Hero Neos and Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin leap into the air and fuse together in a bright light. When the bright light fades away, Elemental Hero Aqua Neos (2500/2000) replaces the two monsters on the field.

 

Ami says, “There must be some kind of catch.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “Yeah, there is. First, the monsters that I used in the fusion return to my deck instead of going to my graveyard. And then, normally, after one turn, Aqua Neos returns to my fusion deck.”

 

Ami thinks in her mind, “Excellent, all I need to do is to survive this turn and I will win this duel! After this turn, Jaden will be defenseless since his monster will return when his turn is done.”

 

Jaden tells Ami, with a smile, “However, as long as Neo-Space remains on the field, Aqua Neos is allowed to remain on the field as long as he wants. Plus, he gains 500 additional attack points, thanks to Neo-Space.” Elemental Hero Aqua Neos' stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000!

 

Ami says, with a sneer, “So, what? My Archlord Zerato is still stronger than your Aqua Neos.”

 

Jaden displays another spell card from his hand, it is a spell card with a picture of Princess Serenity holding the Silver Crystal in her hands, and exclaims, “That's why I play this! I play my Silver Moon Crystal Equip Spell!” As soon as Jaden puts the card in the spell/trap slots, with a hologram of the Imperium Silver Crystal appears and attached to Aqua Neos chest causing him to glow with silver light.

 

Luna thinks in her mind, “Hold on! I can sense the power of the White Moon Kingdom inside of that card! Where did this young lad get such a card?!”

 

Jaden tells Ami, “This spell card causes me to lose 500 of my life-points, but it has one sweet effect. This equip card doubles my Aqua Neos attack and defense points!” Elemental Hero Aqua Neos' stats increase from 3000/2000 to 6000/4000, much to the surprise of everyone else. Jaden then states, “However, as Aster would say, `like most jewelry, it comes with a price'. If I want to keep it, I need to pay 500 more life-points during every one of my Standby Phases. However, I won't need another turn after this!” Jaden then widely smiles and tells Ami, “This has been one sweet duel, Ami, but now, it has to come to an end.” Jaden then calls out, pointing towards Archlord Zerato, “Aqua Neos, attack her Archlord Zerato with Crystal Aqua Twister!” Elemental Hero Aqua Neos gathers water energy into the crystal in his chest and fires a powerful twister of water energy at Archlord Zerato, destroying it in a huge explosion. Ami cries out as her monster is destroyed and she loses 2200 life-point as a result, bringing her life-points to zero.

After the final holograms vanish from the field, Syrus exclaims, happily, “He did it!”

 

Tyranno says, with a wide grin and excited tone, “Excellent work, Sarge!”

 

Jaden gives his usual motion by pointing at Ami and exclaims, “That's game!” However, with the end of the duel, Ami faints onto the ground, the white streaks in her hair vanish, and when she hits the ground, her fallen form kicks up some dust when she hits the ground.

Serena and the other Sailor Senshi call out, worriedly, “Ami!” All of our heroes and heroines run over to Ami and Lita gently puts Ami into her arms.

 

Serena calls out to Ami, “Ami, are you all right? Ami, please wake up!”

 

Bastion asks Ami's friends, “Is she all right?” Ami gives out a few small moans and she slowly opens her eyes to look at her friends.

 

Ami asks, weakly, “Serena? Rei? Michelle?”

 

Mina says, relieved, “Ami, you are okay!”

 

Lita says, also relieved, “Thank goodness.”

 

Ami asks, perplexed, “Where are we?” And when Ami looks over herself, she asks, even more confused, “And what am I doing in this outfit?”

 

Darien asks Ami, “You don't remember anything?”

 

Ami then says, “No, I don't. The last thing that I remember is . . . Serena, Lita, Mina, Hotaru, and I were at the mall with Luna and Atriums, Mina was buying some Duel Monster cards, Serena left for some ice-cream, Lita, Mina, Luna, and Atriums went off to keep Serena safe, Hotaru and I were left at the store, and finally, I remember this guy . . . he said that his name is a manager of some of the best duelists in the world like Aster Phoenix . . . his name was . . .”

 

Jaden, Syrus, Bastion, and Tyranno look at each other, nod their heads in agreement, and says, in unison, “Sartorius!”

 

Ami says, remembering now, “Yes, that was his name! Sartorius! He wanted to talk to me and Hotaru and then everything goes blank.” Ami asks, looking at Jaden and his friends, “By the way, who are these people?”

 

Mina tells Rei, “Well, this cutie in the red is the one that save you from this guy because he totally brainwashed you into one of his mindless soldiers.”

 

Ami gasps and states, perplexed, “I was . . . brainwashed?”

 

Tyranno tells Ami, “That's right, ma'am. We know this because he has already brainwashed a few of our friends already.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, “Even through you don't remember, Ami, you already introduced yourself to us. My name is Bastion Misawa and you are on Duel Academy Island. The name you met is Sartorius and publicly, he is the manager of top duelists. However, in secret, he is the leader of the mysterious Society of Light, an organization that seems to want to take over the world and this Sartorius character possess some kind of evil power that brainwashes people into his way of thinking. If you lose to him or lose to someone controlled or represented by Sartorius, he possess you with that evil power and turn you into one of his followers. We call it on a `whiting' or `turning white' since members of the Society of Light wear nearly pure white uniforms.”

 

Ami is helped to her feet and says, “All I remember is taking his hand with Hotaru to find somewhere private that we could talk about our `dueling talent'.”

 

Tyranno says, in a serious tone, “That's mostly likely how he got. The instant that you came in contact with him, he infected you with that evil power of his and brainwashed you. And I would bet one of my dinos that he has still your friend under his snaky hands.”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “Poor Hotaru.”

 

Amara then says, in a serious tone, “I'll find this guy and make him pay for what he's done by forcing him to release our firefly from his control.”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “Firefly?”

 

Lita tells Syrus, “Our nickname for our friend Hotaru.”

 

Trista tells Amara, “You can't do that here, Amara. This is well-known, publicly renowned, and legal privately owned establishment. We cannot get attack this Sartorius character head on. We need another plan.”

 

Michelle asks Trista, “What do you purpose to do, Trista?”

 

Trista looks at Serena and the four Inner Sailor Senshi, “We need to infiltrate Duel Academy in order to get to Sartorius and in order to do that, Serena and the other are going to become transfer students to Duel Academy and we need to become supervisors here.”

 

Mina exclaims, “We're going to become students in the best dueling school in the world?! Beyond cool!”

 

Trista goes over to Jaden and his friends and says, with a smile, “And I believe that we are going to need your help against this enemy since both of us have a common enemy.”

 

Syrus says, amazed, “Actual super-heroes in our school? Now, that's pretty awesome.”

 

Ami asks, perplexed, “Huh?”

 

Lita tells Ami, “It is a long story, Ami, but they already know who we are.”

 

Trista then says, looking at young Jaden, “Especially this young duelist. May I have your name?”

 

Jaden exclaims, with a smile, “Sure! The name is Jaden Yuki, the next King of Games!”

 

Trista then says, “If we are going to be working together, I believe that it is for the best that we explain our `stories', so, that we learn to trust each other and work together much better.”

 

Luna then tells Trista, “That's a wise idea, Trista.”

 

Syrus screams out in shock and exclaims, stunned, “Yipe! A talking cat?!”

 

Tyranno then says, strongly, through pretty shocked at Luna's ability to talk himself, “Oh, buck up soldier! It can't be as weird as alien Duel Monsters.” Just then Jaden gets a feeling in his heart and looks towards the woods, his eyes widening slightly at who he sees. When everyone else looks to the source, they see Alexis Rhodes, wearing the white uniform of members of the `White Dorm', her arms across her chest, and a serious and emotionless expression on her face, and for several seconds, all of them just stare at each other.

 

Jaden then says, in a low tone, “Alexis . . .” Alexis then turns away, uncrosses her arms, and walks away.

 

Lita asks, “Who was that girl?”

 

Bastion replies, in a plain tone, “Alexis Rhodes, a member of Obelisk Blue and one of our friends, but now, under the control of Sartorius and the Society of Light when she lost to Chazz in a duel when he was infused with Sartorius as well as under his influence. And if we don't work fast and stop him, the rest of the school will be wearing white and the whole world will be in danger.”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, looking at his new deck, “Actually, Bastion, I know that it is more than the whole world that's in danger. The entire universe is under threat. Some good friends show me that and a few new friends reminded me that we need to stop Sartorius before it was too late.”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “By the way, Jaden, how did you get those awesome new cards? Including that Lunar Palace, Silver Crystal, and that beautiful looking Elemental Hero that looks similar to the Sailor Senshi?

 

Luna says, simply, “Actually, that's a question that I would like to know myself.”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “Like I told you, Syi, I went to where no one has gone before, again. And there, I met two new friends . . . friends that you couldn't believe.”

 

Michelle then says, “Maybe all of us should try to have this conversation somewhere more private.”

 

Bastion says, in a serious tone, “Good idea. Follow us.” Jaden, Bastion, Syrus, and Tyranno leads our group of heroes from Juuban inside of the Slifer Red dorm into the area that Chazz `remodeled' before he was brainwashed by Sartorius into the Society of Light.

 

(Inside of the Slifer Red dorm; A short time soon after)

 

In the aftermath of the duel between our brainwashed Sailor Senshi of Ice and Water and Slifer Red hero, we find all of our heroes and heroines surrounding the large marble `living room' of the `remodeled' portion of the Slifer Red dorm. Our Sailor Senshi and our group of Duel Academy heroes telling their `stories' about their adventures and experiences up to this point. Even through Jaden, Syrus, Tyranno, and especially Bastion were amazed at the origin story of our Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask, our Sailor Senshi, two guardian cats, Darien, Syrus, Tyranno, and Bastion were amazed to hear that Jaden met Queen Serenity personally.

 

After they were done with their stories, Bastion exclaims to Jaden, “Great Scott! You mean that you met the spirit of this legendary Moon Queen, Jaden?”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, “That's right, Bastion. It was so awesome and she's the one that gave me these sweet new cards to use, including my brand new Elemental Hero Selene! Now, my deck is even sweeter than before!”

 

Mina asks, plainly, “Not to sound insulting or something, but why would Queen Serenity come to your friend, Jaden, here? I don't think he is a reincarnated Lunarian or something.”

 

Luna tells Mina, “Don't be so sure. I do remember someone that looks a lot like him back in the Moon Kingdom, but I'm not sure where.”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “Whoa! Are you saying that my best friend could be some kind of alien himself?”

 

Bastion tells Syrus, in his logical tone, “Actually, what the Sailor Senshi are trying to say that they are reincarnations of alien princesses from a life thousands of years in the past, Syrus. Reincarnation is an ancient philosophy that says that a person's spirit or soul gets reborn in a new body when they die and they become a totally different person.”

 

Ami tells Bastion, with a smile, “That's right, Bastion. Currently, we're not princesses, anymore.”

 

Tyranno says, in an amazement, “First, brainwashing freak that wants to take over or destroy the world and now, we have real-life aliens royalty in our barracks.”

 

Jaden tells Tyranno, with his usual wide grin, “Just another day in Duel Academy, huh, Hassleberry?”

 

Bastion tells Jaden, “Jaden, I believe that we should take this seriously. Based on what Serena's mother from her past life told us and what Trista has told us, with her wisdom of living for many millennia, this `Surge of Light' or `Light of Ruin' is the source of Sartorius' evil powers. And based on what we know, if Sartorius succeeds in his plans, all life will indeed cease to exist. By trying to destroy the darkness, he is upsetting the balance of nature because darkness is vital part of life. Without one, the other cannot exist and Sartorius' attempt to destroy all darkness in the universe, light will also fade, chaos will reign, and all life will wither and die. This is even worse that we originally thought and he is using our friends in his plans.”

 

Tyranno exclaims, in a serious tone, “All right, this means war! We need to strike and strike fast!”

 

Trista tells Tyranno, “Unfortunately, haste might cause us to lose this `war'. We need to think strategically because Sartorius has the ability to see things to come based on what knowledge that you imparted on us. The only advantage that we know that we have is that Jaden has the ability to overcome fate's strings and change destiny by the strength of his willpower and determination. And that power is what Sartorius wants from Jaden, the ability to mold destiny on your will.”

 

Bastion says, looking at Jaden, “Our best `weapon' against Sartorius is Jaden, so, we need to make sure that he doesn't fall into his hands.”

 

Jaden tells everyone, with a smile, “Hey, what is everyone worried about? I would never help that brainwashing freak at any time.”

 

Atriums then says, “Based on what we know, he might have tried to use Aster Phoenix to get control of you, but you will was strong enough to resist his power. However, this causes your spirit to become weakened and that's why you were unable to see your cards for a while. But we know that your will and spirit are even stronger than before and I can say with plenty of certainty that Jaden is one of the few that can't be taken over by Sartorius.”

 

Trista looks at Tyranno and says, “As well as young Hassleberry, here. From what I sensed, the dinosaur bone in his leg did give him great power because it belonged to a dinosaur at the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The meteor that ended the dinosaur age infused its energy with all of the dinosaur fossils of that time and that bone fragment used to save his leg infused him with a great power, merging plenty of the dinosaurs' DNA with his human DNA, but from what we are told, it didn't fully awake until after Jaden's duel with Hassleberry, which `awoke', as you can say, his full power and dueling spirit. Plus, it is the reason that his eyes transform into dinosaur-like slits from time to time.”

 

Tyranno's eyes do just that and he says, “Yes, ma'am. The dinosaurs are never extinct as long I'm around.”

 

Mina says, “I have heard and seen pretty strange things, but that's pretty incredible.”

 

Lita asks, curiously, “But how do we get to Sartorius and how do we beat him?”

 

Rei tells everyone, “Well, based on my visions, Ami, Bastion, and I have managed to figure at least some of what we need to do. In my vision, I saw that Sartorius is the source of this evil and all life in the universe will die if Sartorius wins. But also in my vision, I saw Tarot cards and based on what Jaden and his friends learned from Sartorius' sister, Sartorius tries to predict the future and destiny with them.”

Bastion says, in his usual logical tone, “From what Rei has told us, Sartorius represents the Tarot cards known as The Wheel of Fate, which does indeed suit him since he tries to create a `destiny of ruin'. We already know that Sartorius greatest threat is Jaden, who seems to have the uncanny ability to defy Fate itself and Sartorius' predictions. Jaden and the Neo-Spacians are our best bet to defeat Sartorius, saving our friends, and the universe. However, based on what we know, there are others necessary in order to defeat Sartorius.”

 

Amara asks, curiously, “Others?”

 

Ami nods her head and replies, “Yes. Based on what Rei and Bastion told me, there are three people, other than Jaden, that can aid or defeat Sartorius' plans. Rei told me that she saw four Tarot cards other than The Wheel of Fate. She saw the Tarot cards known as The Fool, The Hierophant or Prince, The Strength, and The Moon. These four cards must represent the four people that can help or stop Sartorius' plans for universe destruction. We've already determined that Jaden represents The Fool card, through that doesn't mean literal interpretation.”

 

Syrus says, “Through if Chazz were here, he would make a crack about that.”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, “Focus here, soldier. They are trying to say something important, through I'm not fully sure myself.”

 

Ami then says, “Next, based on Mr. Hassleberry's first encounter with Sartorius, we know that he represents The Strength card because even through he lost his duel with Sartorius, his power couldn't effect him and plus, Mr. Hassleberry mention that Sartorius said he was The Strength card when he was thinking out loud.”

 

Lita states, in a plain tone, “That's pretty obvious. He should watch what he is doing.”

 

Tyranno says, in his military-type tone, “No kidding, ma'am. He just gave us critical intelligence and he might not even know it. By the way, Ami, stop with that `mister' stuff, just call me Hassleberry or Tyranno. I'm just your ordinary soldier under Sergeant Jaden.”

 

Darien then says, “So, from what we know? We need to find the people that represent The Hierophant and The Moon cards and keep them out of Sartorius' hands.”

 

Bastion nods his head and says, in his usual logical tone, “Yes, if we can find who represents these Tarot cards and keep them out of Sartorius' hands, they might be our keys to victory along with Jaden and Hassleberry. However, the problem is, we don't how exactly they will do stop him or what they need to do in order to do so.”

 

Trista says, in her usual tone, “Which is why we are coming to Duel Academy. We need to figure out Avatar of the `Light of Ruin's' plans and the only way we can do that is we become part of Duel Academy. Serena and the Inner Senshi will become students while the rest of us become administers, teachers, and supervisors.”

 

Mina then asks, “I love where you are going with this and all, but how are you going to make us get into Duel Academy?”

 

Luna tells Mina in reply, “You just leave that to Trista, Atriums, and me. Did you bring your dueling decks as we have asked?” Lita and Rei hold up one dueling pouch, Mina holds up three dueling pouches, and Serena holds up an entire backpack.

 

Ami asks Serena, “Serena, does that backpack of your containing of all your dueling decks?”

 

Serena smiles and says, in her cheerful tone, “Yep! All ten of them!”

 

Rei exclaims, shocked, “Ten dueling decks?! Geez, Meatball Head, you really love Duel Monsters, don't you?”

 

Serena tells Rei, in her usual tone, “Sure, Pyro, it's my favorite game in the entire world! And plus, I've played with single one of them and never lost.”

 

Syrus tells Bastion, “Ten dueling decks, played with every single one, and never lost with one. Wow, that's pretty incredible.”

 

Bastion says, “If what she says is true, then that's pretty impressive indeed.”

 

Mina tells Bastion, “If you think that's impressive, our little Ami has a deck for every single Attribute and every single type of monster card in the whole world of Duel Monsters. And every single one has a perfect balance of monster, spell, and trap cards. She uses her `big' brain to plan out her duels and strategies . . . exactly like you.”

 

Bastion's eyes widen at this and says, pretty interested, “Really?”

 

Ami tells Mina, embarrassed and blushing, “Mina!”

 

Mina tells Ami, “Oh, come on, Ami. You are practically skilled at everything, including Duel Monsters. You are just a bit too shy to admit that you are the only one to rival Serena as a duelist. Oh, by the way, you don't mind and all, but I had Michelle go to your house and retrieve your decks.”

 

Michelle takes out an entire suitcase from behind and says, “And I was pretty surprised to find them, including who they are numbered and organized.”

 

Syrus states, pretty amazed, “Wow.”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, nodding his head, “I'll say.” Ami quickly goes over and takes the backpack from Michelle, blushing widely in embarrassment. On the meanwhile, Bastion couldn't help himself to become interested in our intelligent Sailor Senshi, who seems to be a lot like him.

 

Trista tells everyone, “Okay, leave the transfer to Duel Academy to Luna, Atriums, and me and the rest of you keep up your dueling skills.”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “Wonder what they are going to?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, with his usual grin and shrug of his shoulders, “Beats me, Syi!” However, Jaden thinks in his mind, “But I know with their help, we can get Alexis and Chazz back along with the rest of the students that jerk Sartorius has brainwashed and save the universe like I promised Aquos and Flick.” Jaden then secretly looks at Serena and thinks, “Speaking of promises, I've got to remember my promise to Queen Serenity and keep her kid out of Sartorius' smiley hands. But why . . . why do I get this feeling that I know Sailor Moon from somewhere before? That we met before . . . It is a similar feeling that I got when I saw Queen Serenity and that Moon Kingdom. I wonder why?”

 

Amara looks at Jaden, on the meanwhile, and thinks, “Why would Queen Serenity meet with this kid? And why do I get this feeling that he needs to be protected as much as our princess?”

 

(Inside of Sartorius' room in the `White Dorm'; on the meanwhile)

 

Inside of Sartorius' room within the `White Dorm', we find the leader of the Society of Light sitting in front of table with Alexis Rhodes standing behind her. Alexis had witness the whole duel between Ami and Jaden and came back to report what had happened to Sartorius.

 

Sartorius holds up an upright The Reaper of Souls Tarot cards and tells Alexis, “Thank you, Alexis. You can leave me now.”

 

Alexis bows and replies, in a plain tone, “Yes, sir.” Alexis then leaves the room while Sartorius gives off a wide grin in evil amusement.

 

When Alexis is gone, Sartorius says to himself, “So, Jaden Yuki, you have eluded destiny once again. Well done.” Sartorius then looks at the cards on the table with The Wheel of Fate on top, three Tarot cards, The Fool, the Hierophant, and the Strength, in the middle, and finally, The Moon Tarot card at the bottom. Sartorius then says, in a plain and serious tone, “However, I might have interpreted the cards a bit wrong, which is quite a surprise for me. But it doesn't matter. What the cards tell me now is that there is a four person that I need in order for my destiny to come to past. So far, there is Jaden Yuki, represented by The Fool, Aster Phoenix, represented by The Prince, and Mr. Hassleberry, represented by The Strength. However, the cards warn me that there is now another person that I need. A person represented by The Moon, this card signifies purity, light, and innocence even in the greatest darkness, and the cards tell that I need this person, a male or female, in order for my destiny to come to pass. But the cards warn me that this person is also strong like Jaden and Aster and won't be turned so easily.” Sartorius then grins evilly and says, “No matter through. This person will see that light like Aster and Jaden will soon enough. And the cards already tell me that this person is already here, which means that I will find this young lad or lady quickly.” Sartorius says to himself, “Most likely, when I introduce the newest member of this dorm to the whole school tomorrow. The arrangements have been made with those fools, Crowler and Napoleon, and I will see Ami's friends, soon enough. The cards told me that she belongs to the knights that serve this person.”

 

(The next morning; inside one of the classrooms within Duel Academy)

 

During the first class in the morning inside one of the classroom of Duel Academy, we find Dr. Crowler, the temporary chancellor of the school, standing in front of Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and White clad students in five to six rows with Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno in the third row looks down towards him, as he has a microphone in his hand.

 

Crowler calls out, through the microphone, “Settle down, students! I have very important news today! Today, we have six brand new students and four new teachers and administers joining our staff! Now, first, I would like to introduce . . .!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Excuse me?” When Crowler and everyone looks to the source of the voice, they see Sartorius leading Hotaru into the room. Sartorius tells Crowler, “Forgive the interruption, but this young lady insisted that I escort her in. You don't mind?”

 

Crowler says, trying to hide her annoyance at Sartorius, “No! Not at all!” Crowler thinks in his mind, angrily, “I don't know what you did to my students, but I'm going to find to stop it and expose you, freak!” Crowler doesn't like Sartorius at all and believes that he did something to the Obelisk Blue and Ra Yellow students, like brainwashing them, but he has to put up with Sartorius because of that control. Crowler then calls out, through the microphone and pointing to Hotaru, “This is young lady is Hotaru Tomoe and she has shown extraordinary talent in her dueling skills! The administration tells us that she has incredible potential and talent! She will be joining Obelisk Blue as a first-year student.”

 

Meanwhile, in the student seats, Tyranno tells Jaden in a whisper, “Hey, Sarge, do you that's her?”

 

Jaden nods his head and replies, in a plain tone, “Most likely, Hassleberry.”

 

Syrus says, slightly blushing, “Well, she is pretty cute, even in white.”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, a bit annoyed, “Give it a rest soldier.”

 

Crowler then exclaims, through the microphone, “And now, it is time for the rest of our new students! These five young ladies . . .!” He then stops as Serena, Ami, Rei, Lita, and Mina enter the room, wearing Ra Yellow versions of the female Obelisk Blue uniforms with yellow where it is dark blue on the Obelisk Blue uniforms with yellow high-heeled boots. Serena, Mina, Lita, and Rei strike a bit of a pose and immediately, members of the male Ra Yellow and Slifer Red dorms gain pink and red hearts in their eyes, like anime shows, falling in love with the five Sailor Senshi, including Ami, who is shyly holding her head down a bit. Crowler then clears his throat and says, “Check that! These five exquisite young ladies have been reviewed by the school board as well and they display great talent and skills as well. All five of them will be gaining entry into Ra Yellow, but I suspect they will make Obelisk Blue quickly.”

 

Rei thinks in her mind, “Don't count on it.”

 

Crowler tells the students through the microphone, “Now, give a warm Duel Academy welcome to Serena Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Lita Kino, Mina Aino, and Rei Hino, daughter of the famous Japanese statesman!” The Slifer Red and Ra Yellow gasp in shock about hearing of Rei's father and they begin to talk about themselves about Rei's father.

 

Rei gives a small groan and whispers to her friends, “Did he have to mention that man?”

 

Lita tells Rei, in a whisper, “Sorry, Rei, but you know that we have to mention your father, even through we know how you feel about him, to make our entry into Duel Academy even more authentic.”

 

Rei tells Lita, in a whisper, “I know, Lita.”

 

Mina looks at Sartorius and asks Ami, in a whisper, “Is that the guy that brainwashed you?”

 

Ami nods his head and says, in a whisper, “That's the guy that Hotaru and I met before we blanked out.”

 

Rei tells her friends, in a whisper, “Well, I can sense a powerful evil aura from him. He must have filled you and Hotaru with it. We better be careful around him.” Serena gives a glance at Hotaru, with a worried and hopeful look on her face, but when Hotaru glances back, Serena can see the emotionless look in her eyes and expression. And as quickly as Hotaru looks at Serena, he returns her gaze towards the class without even acknowledging the Moon Princess.

 

Serena tells her friends, in a whisper, “Hotaru looks so cold . . . so empty. She isn't herself at all.”

 

Rei tells Serena, in a whisper, “She definitely been brainwashed like Ami was. Don't worry, Serena, with Jaden and his friends helping us, we will free her.”

 

Crowler then shouts out, “Finally, it is time to bring in the newest members of our facility!” Soon after, Darien, wearing black formal teacher's outfit, and the three Outer Sailor Senshi with Michelle and Trista wearing an adult version of a female Obelisk Blue uniform with Amara wearing a grey jeans, black sneakers, white shirt, and the male blue blazer. Crowler tells everyone, “Mr. Darien Shields will be the new head of the Slifer Red dorm since the loss of our beloved Professor Banner, Ms. Michelle Kaioh will be leading our brand new Duel Arts classes, a new set of class which will teach the skills, artistry, and history of the creation of Duel Monsters cards among other things, Ms. Amara Ten'ou will be assisting our Fonda Fontaine in the gymnastic class, and finally, Ms. Trista Meioh will taking over Professor Banner's Duel Alchemy classes. Mr. Shields, Ms. Kaioh, and Ms. Ten'ou are young and along with Ms. Meioh, they are new, but I would expect all of you to treat them with respect and dignity as all teachers and facility should be treated.” However, all the Slifer Red and Ra Yellow students were talking about how Amara is a woman dressing as a man and how the majority of the new teachers are beautiful young women. Amara looks at Sartorius and Hotaru, sees the emotionless look in her eyes, and gets pretty angry at Sartorius. Even through she tried to kill her over a year ago, ever since Hotaru was reborn and aged back to her `original self', Amara, along with Michelle and Trista, consider Hotaru a precious member of the Outer Sailor Senshi and their `firefly', Hotaru's nickname. Seeing her like this made Amara's blood boil with anger.

 

Michelle tells Amara, in a whisper, “Don't worry, Amara, we will get Hotaru back.”

 

Amara says to Michelle, in a whisper, “I can't stand this, Michelle. Seeing our firefly over there with him, with no emotion and seemly trapped in her own mind, it is like the nightmare that she experience with Mistress Nine in her.”

 

Trista tells Amara, in a whisper, “I know, Amara. Hotaru has become a vital and precious part of the Sailor Senshi, especially us, Outer Sailor Senshi, but we can't just rush in to save her or we might suffer the same fate. We need to play this careful and wait for the right chance to strike.”

 

Sartorius looks directly at Serena and thinks in his mind, “That's her! Yes, I can sense it! She is The Moon card! Purity, light, and innocence surrounded by the darkness of night. It is strange, through . . . I can sense similar powers to Jaden Yuki's powers within her . . . as if Jaden and this girl, Serena Tsukino, were related in some way. No matter, like Jaden Yuki, she will have the same fate as Jaden Yuki . . . when both of them see the light and are by my side!” Darien notices the look that Sartorius is making on his girlfriend and gives a slight scowl at it. However, Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno also notice Sartorius glancing at our moon princess.

 

Syrus says, worriedly and in a whisper, “Uh oh. He's looking straight at Serena.”

 

Tyranno tells his friends, also in a whisper, “I don't like it. That rotten mind-controlling freak is up to something.”

 

Jaden tells his friends, in a serious tone and in a whisper, “Don't worry, guys, as long as stick together, he won't be able to do anything to us.” Jaden looks straight at Sartorius and thinks, with a serious look in his eyes, “Watch out, Sartorius! We're on to you! With the Sailor Senshi helping us, we're going to get our friends back! And when it is time for us to duel, you had better get your game on!”

 

Next time in Chapter 2: Return of the Pharaoh: Sometime after the Sailor Senshi arrive on Duel Academy island, they settle into their `positions' within Duel Academy and start to plan their moves against Sartorius and the Society of Light with Jaden and his three friends. During this time, our heroes and heroines find out that Trista, Rei, Amara, and Serena can see Duel Spirits like Jaden can! However, by a real `quirk' of destiny, Jasmine and Mindy, two of the five Obelisk Blue students outside of Sartorius' control, stumble right into our Sailor Senshi's meeting with Jaden and his friends, learning the identities of our heroines in the process. Our group of heroes and heroines have no choice, but to allow Mindy and Jasmine to join their group and their plans. However, Sartorius, on the meanwhile, visits Domino City, once more, but not to morn the loss of his sister, however. Based on his vision powers, he finds Blair Flannigan, who is around nine to ten years old, walking down the streets. He brainwashes her with his `Light of Ruin', ages her five more years until she was a teen of her former self, and bring her to Duel Academy to `fight' Jaden Yuki. On the meanwhile, Queen Serenity visits her daughter in a dream, introduces her to another group of Neo-Spacians similar to the ones that Jaden met, who transfers their power to one of her dueling decks, and Queen Serenity also gives her daughter also new dueling cards also. When the new teenage Blair arrives to fight Jaden, Serena takes his place instead and uses a brand new `Cyber Neos' deck, a combination of Cyber Angel, Elemental Hero, and Neo-Spacian cards. Plus, Serena uses a brand new `breed' of Elemental Heroes, the Cosmic Heroes, which are Elemental Heroes and `support monsters and cards' based off of the Sailor Senshi and their allies. Serena and Blair fight to an even duel, but Serena's new Cyber Angel-Serenity might turn the tide against Blair and her `White Love' deck. After the fight is over, our heroes and heroines fight out of brand new teachers coming to Duel Academy! Namely, Yugi Moto and his friends, Joey Wheeler, Tea Gardner, Tristan Taylor, Rebecca Hawkins, and Duke Devlin, which is a shock to everyone, expect for Sartorius for some reason, through he isn't completely not surprised by this turn of events. Soon after, Jaden learns from Atem, who has returned from the Spirit World of the Moon Kingdom, about Atem's friends are here to aid in his revival. However, they need to do it in the abandoned dorm and they need two elements in order to revive Atem: Serena's Imperium Silver Crystal and two, Jaden's Shadow Charm! Joining forces with Yugi and his friends, they make their way to the abandoned dorm in order to complete this ritual, but another of brainwashed member of the Society of Light comes forth to stop them. And it is a blast from the past for Syrus when they find out it is Missy, the bug duelists that he beat to get into Ra Yellow! However, this time, Tyranno steps forwards to stomp her out while the others head inside to the abandoned dorm to complete the ritual . . . in the exact spot that Jaden and Alexis duel Titan, one of the seven Shadow Riders, in the duels that they fought against him. However, can they bring the Pharaoh back to life? Will Tyranno win this battle against new and improved `White Missy'? And what other surprises are in store for our heroes and heroines? Did you like the duel between Ami and Jaden? What about the new cards that Jaden has in his `Lunar Neos' deck? And I'm sorry if there is too much OOC in this story. I'm trying to get all of the characters `in character', but even through I watched both shows, it isn't as easy as even I thought. So, there is going to be some to a lot of OOC in this story.
