"The First Spirit: Part I"

Yugi sighed.

Sakura: What's wrong Yugi?

Joey, Sakura, Tomoyo, and Yugi were at an ice cream store. Joey and Tomoyo talked while Sakura and Yugi were eating.
Yugi: I don't know. I really wish my grandfather were here.

Sakura: Is he where you live?
Yugi: No. He passed away not too long ago.

Sakura: Oh, I'm sorry.

Yugi: In one week, I'm going to start the New Year without him. He's the only family I had.

Sakura: What about your parents?
Yugi: I don't know. Anyways, I want to thank you for that wonderful Christmas party last night. It was awesome.

Sakura: No problem.
Yugi: It sucks that Sapphire stopped the duel, but who could he celebrate Christmas with?

Sakura: He might have family in another planet. You never know. For all you know, he might have a heart.

Yugi: Yeah right.

Sakura: Did I ever tell you that I made out with him before I actually knew who he was?
Yugi smiled.

Tomoyo: So, any women out there?

Joey gave a confused look.
Joey: Uhhhhh…

Tomoyo: I meant any of them you're interested in.

Joey: Oh, well…

Tomoyo: You can tell me.

Joey: There are two actually. One of them was at the party last night.

Tomoyo: Tea?

He blushed.

Joey: Yeah.

Tomoyo: What about the other one?

Joey looked at her.

Joey: Um…

Tomoyo: Well…?

All of the sudden, a girl fell on Yugi. He and his chair fell on Joey's body. The girl gave her hand to Yugi and helped him up.

Girl: Oh, are you all right?
Joey: Uhhh! I'm f-fine.

Yugi: I'm all right.

Tomoyo helped Joey up.

Girl: Hi, I'm-

Joey looked at her and blushed.

Girl: I'm Daisy.

Joey: Hi…

Sakura: I'm Sakura.

Joey: Hi…

Tomoyo: I'm Tomoyo.

Joey: Hi…

Yugi: I'm Yugi.

Joey: Hi…

Daisy: Once again I'm sorry.

Yugi: It's all right.

Daisy: See ya.

They all smiled back.

Yugi: I think she goes to my school.

Sakura finished her ice cream. As she walked towards the garbage to throw away her cup, she heard a BEEP in her purse. She opened it to see her wand glow orange.

Sakura: Oh no. YUGI!!!

Yugi: What?
Sakura: The orange spirit is in Daisy!

Yugi: Let's go.

The four of them ran out of the store.

Joey: Mind telling us what the hell is going on?

Sakura: Later. Now, where did she go?

They all stopped when they saw someone. It was Sapphire.

Sapphire: Hi.

Yugi: Sapphire!

Sapphire: Look up.

Joey, Sakura, Tomoyo, and Yugi looked up and gasped. Seventy-five feet above them was Daisy inside of a huge, orange diamond.

Tomoyo: It's Daisy.

Sapphire looked at Sakura.

Sapphire: Your mother forgot to tell you two things.

Sakura: Huh?

Sapphire: You can't just point that thing at someone. The spirit has to be released first. Oh, and I'm the only one who can release them.

Yugi frowned.

Sapphire: The other thing she forgot was that if you or I capture a spirit, it becomes a weapon that you can use.

Joey: A weapon?

Sapphire: Oh, and once the spirit is released, the person carrying it becomes a demon!

Sakura: What?!

Sapphire took his blue wand and pointed it at the diamond.

Sapphire: INO TSUKAT RAMEDO!!!

The diamond started moving towards the wand.

Sakura: Huh?

The diamond and Daisy separated.

Sapphire smiled.

The diamond flew at the speed of light towards his wand.

Sapphire: HA HA! It looks like I have spirit number one.

Yugi: NO!!!

Sapphire: Have fun with The Spirit Demon!

He laughed and vanished. All of the sudden, Daisy eyes turned orange and her body transformed into an orange angel.

Joey: Huh?
Tomoyo: That's a demon?

Orange Spirit: I am the Spirit Demon!

The angel took out arrows.

Orange Spirit: Once these arrows touch you, I have your SPIRIT!!

She started shooting arrows at them. They turned into orange beams in the air.

Yugi: Everyone duck and cover!!!

The four of them separated and ran.

Tomoyo: Sakura, what're we gonna do?

She stopped running when there was no reply.
Sakura: I'm gonna try and stop that thing.

She took out her new and her cards.

Sakura: Here goes! FLY CARD!!!

Wings appeared on her back. She took off.

The angel continued to shoot arrows from the air to Joey and Yugi.

Yugi: Yami, help us out!!
His Millennium Pyramid started shining.
Joey: Yami!!

Yami: Don't worry Joey!

Yami aimed his hand at the angel.

Yami: Dark Magic Ball!

A dark energy ball started forming.

The angel smiled and lowered her hand at him.

Orange Spirit: Spirit Bomb!

An orange energy ball started forming.

They both grinned. Sakura flew towards the center of them, not seeing what they were about to do.

Yami and Orange Spirit: RELEASE!!!!!!!

Sakura tried to stop but couldn't. The two enormous energy balls hit Sakura at the same time, creating a great ball of smoke. Joey gasped.

Yami kneeled down with a blank stare.

Yami: No…

The smoke cleared.

Yami: I killed her…
