"The First Spirit: Part II"

Tomoyo: SAKURA!!!

Yami smiled. Joey looked at him with great confusion in his face.

Joey: Yami, why are you smiling?

The angel Orange Spirit was curious.

Yami: Because we just won.

Joey and the Orange Sprit: Huh?

All of the sudden, something went through the spirit. It was a beam of light.

Orange Spirit: AAAHH! HOW DARE YOU!

It turned around to see Sakura a little higher up.

Sakura: You may be a spirit, but now that you have a body, you're a mortal.

The angel grinned.

Orange Spirit: You think you have me all figured out, huh?

Sakura: What?

Orange Spirit: Let me tell you a little about my master.

Yami: We don't want-

Sapphire: No, let her.

Yami turned around. Sapphire, along with Arah and Cassandra, stood on a huge pillar of stone.

Tomoyo ran up to Joey.

Tomoyo: Why is he back?

Sapphire: My father has many interesting secrets. Isn't that right, Orange Spirit?

Yami: Wait a second, I thought you captured it.

Sapphire: It was an illusion. You know, I like to have a challenge. It looked like Sakura was the only one to figure it out.

Sakura slowly got her card.

Sakura: If I do it carefully, I'll be able to capture him.

She aimed her white wand at the spirit.

Sapphire: Wait Sakura.

Sakura looked at Sapphire.

Sapphire: You're the kind of woman who likes opportunities.

He jumped off the pillar with great speed and returned to the pillar in a heartbeat. This time, he had Tomoyo.

Sakura: Tomoyo!!!!
Joey and Yami gasped.

Joey: That creep took Tomoyo when we weren't looking!

Sapphire: Actually Joseph, you were looking. I was just too fast for the naked eye to see.

Sakura: Let her go and I'll let you have the spirit!

Sapphire smiled.

Sapphire: Let her talk.

Orange Spirit: You all knew that Diamond lived a very long time. He created his cards, made a life deal with a messed up murderer, and gave his immortality to his whole family.

Yami: He did?

Orange Spirit: After all that Egyptian war thing, they lived in a space colony. The colony provided a never ending source of food and water. Now, in order to gain immortality, you must sacrifice all of your strength to the spirits. So they had to eat food and water to regain that strength. Now, earth knew about them, well, at least the Secret Army.

Sakura: The Secret Army?

Orange Spirit: Yes, they knew that the family was regaining their strength so they attacked them,

Joey: Why would they do that?
Sapphire: Two things. One, we were different. And earth is always on the watch for that. And two, we were a threat to them.

Orange Spirit: The leader of the Secret Army, and you're gonna love this, was Sakura's grandfather.
The angel turned to her.

Sakura's eyes widened.

Sakura: What?

Yami looked at Sapphire.

Orange Spirit: When he died, which was a little before Sakura was born, guess who took his place... his daughter, Nadeshiko?

Sakura: My mother.

Sapphire: They didn't attack however until he died. Two years after Sakura was born, the Secret War began.

Orange Spirit: It was an entire planet against seven. Earth didn't plan on killing them, but Diamond created a weapon that could've destroyed half the planet. He threatened ordered earth to pay over 40 billion dollars or he'd shoot the missile at them, however, they refused. When he launched it from the moon, earth used a satellite to change its direction towards the sun.

Sapphire: Except that they "accidentally" aimed at the colony killing over two hundred troops, my mom, my two sisters, and my brother. My father was at the moon and I was at earth.

Yami: But Diamond told us he had the space colony after the accident.

Sapphire: He did. After he sent me to Planet Tai, well I think that's enough for one day.

He kissed Tomoyo on the cheek and vanished. She blushed.

Sapphire: Since I left the duel, you may have the first spirit.

His voice faded.

The angel chuckled.

Orange Spirit: The only way you can capture me or any spirit, you must do a challenge.

Sakura: All right.

The angel smiled and clenched her fists. All of the sudden, eight other angels stood beside her, creating a circle surrounding Sakura.

Voice: Point your wand to the angel you think is the right one, if you point to the wrong one, your spirit will be trapped in my body forever!!

Sakura: Fine!

Voice: Oh, and us angels will be spinning and we'll take one step towards you. So if you wait to long, then your spirit leaves your body. And... BEGIN!!

The angels began circling her.

Sakura: Which of these angels is the real one?

Sakura looked around, but they all looked exactly alike.

Tomoyo looked down and remembered the kiss that Sapphire.

Tomoyo: I can't have feelings for him...

She looked at Sakura.

Tomoyo: Or can I?

Sakura: Oh! If I guess wrong, it'll all be over!

Yami: Come on Sakura, concentrate.

Joey: They all look the same.

Sakura closed her eyes.

Sakura: One must have more energy than the other.

She quickly felt their auras and smiled. She took out her wand, and pointed it to an angel.

Sakura: It's over.

Voice: Is it?

The angels stood still.

Sakura: What?

Voice: You better make sure you're right.

Yami: Don't listen to her!

Joey: Yeah, she's just trying to scare you. Otherwise she'd let you make a mistake!

From a distance, a figure watched them.

Figure: Yes, pick that one. For my sake...

The figure vanished.

Sakura looked at the angel in front of her.

Sakura: SPIRIT, RETURN TO THE WAND, AND NEVER COME BACK!!!

All of the angels vanished but the one in front of her.

Joey: Yes! She was right!

Orange Spirit: Yes, but she doesn't know the words to the chant.

Sakura gasped.

Yami: Oh no, she doesn't the right words to say!

Sakura: Wait! Sapphire said it during the illusion.

She closed her eyes and tried to remember.

Sakura: ....INO..TSUKAT....RAMEDO! INO TSUKAT RAMEDO!!!

The angel screamed as her whole body was pulled to the wand. After the spirit went into the wand, Daisy started falling to the ground. Sakura flew to her and caught her. She looked at her wand. There was now an orange spot on it.

Sakura smiled.

Sakura: One down...

On December 31st...

Sakura and Yugi walked away from the supermarket with several bags.
Sakura: So Yugi, are you ready for the new year?

Yugi: I guess. So what's up with Syaoran?

Sakura: Oh yeah. To tell you the truth I forgot all about him.

Yugi: Really?
Sakura: Yeah, but I should call him and tell him that I'm not pregnant.

Yugi: Well... good luck.

Sakura: Thanks, I'll meet you at Tomoyo's house.

Yugi smiled.

Yugi: See ya then.

Sakura ran to her apartment and picked up the phone. She dialed and the other phone rang. After three rings, a girl picked up.

Girl: Hello?
Sakura: Uh, hi. Is Syaoran there?

Girl: Who's speaking?

Sakura: Umm, it's his cousin.

Girl: May I ask which one?

Sakura: Can I just talk to him?

Girl: Whatever. Here honey, it's some girl.

Syaoran: Hello.

Sakura: Hi Syaoran, it's me Sakura.

Syaoran: Oh... hi.

Sakura: Listen, I made a mistake, well, the doctor made a mistake. I'm not pregnant.

Syaroan: Oh, that's great.

Sakura: Yeah. So, I was wondering if we could work this out.

Syaoran: You know that girl you were just talking to?

Sakura: Yeah...

Syaoran: She's my fiancé.

He hung up. Leaving Sakura in shock...
