Dark Magic Apprentice - Prelude
*authors note: I just recently got hooked on Yu-Gi-OH!, and finally decided to write this. I hope it's ok. The only things I own are Crystal City, it's citizens, and Marty, the Marill-morph, who later becomes the dark magic apprentice, which I also own. I hope you enjoy reading, and plz review. :3*
Thunder struck...and rain fell, as a pair of small, kiddy feet ran for what seemed like their dear lives. The owner wasn't human, and he, yes he, was very small. He had blue fur all over his small body, and a red bandana on around his neck. In one hand was a capsule, which contained his Duel Monster collection. In the other was a wrapped card. His newest..the Magician of Black Chaos (author: guessing on the name here....so it may be wrong). He'd just bought it a few days before..and it was one of his favorites. The other..the Dark Magician..his absolute favorite...had ended up hurting him., by not helping like it should have in a duel. He'd still won..but he was hurt. Now he was being blamed for using Duel Monsters to hurt people. He would never do that...but no believed him..so he ran.
'I would never hurt anyone...not even with cards!' he thought...sliding as he tried to stop, but the mud-slicked ground sure didn't seem to let him. 'I'd never..do it....' was the last he thought...sliding off the edge of a overhang. He squeezed his eyes shut...and didn't remember anymore.

And then suddenly....his blue eyes snapped back open. It was still dark...but there was faint torch light. What had happened? Where was he? He started to get scared when he heard something coming..
