A/n~ I haven't even been writing on this site that long and people are already begginning to doubt my sanity. Just my luck, ne?
Chapter 5 ||


"Excuse me." Malik had run into Aeris, Sarah's equally as odd friends Yami, who was also wandering the halls aimlessly. Malik hadn't realized who it was yet.
"Killer! Killer! You're the killer! And I know you're going to tell you aren't the killer because you're beautiful. You think I'm going to believe you but I'm not! This is just like that movie 'Killer, Killer You're the Killer and I Knew You Were Going to tell Me-'" Malik was cut off, and he finally realized who it was.
"I'm not the killer." Aeris told him.
"I believe you." Malik told her, and next thing Aeris knew, she was flattened against the lockers as Malik started making out with her. ((A/n~ Sorry Kat, I could just SOOO picture that happening between the two...)) He moved down to her neck, and she started to explain what she was doing there.
"Um, I live down the street and I just moved here, so I came up here to look around at my new school and it seemed so bare and dark, I've been so frightened--you are very friendly and idiotic, aren't you?" She told him.
"Friendly enough to keep you safe from the bad, bad, killer man." He told her. They started kissing again. Yugi and Joey and the others opened the door to the classroom.
"Nah, she doesn't look like the killing type to me. I am however less sure about Malik," Yugi decided.
"Don't assume. Its always da one ya think can' be da killer." Joey told him. They walked out of the classroom over to Malik and Aeris.
"You can hang with us, Aeris." Yugi said.
"Yeah, as long as we're all together, we'll all be safe." Tea said, once again, as the annoying voice of reason. Suddenly, the phone rang.
"When did the school get a phone?" Malik asked.
"There's always been a phone, you dingbat." Sarah said, looking as if she was about to hit him over the head with a frying pan. ((A/n~ ^_^)) Joey answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Do you like scary movies? What's your favorite?" The killer asked.
"Oh, I like dat one wit' da hottie from Party of Five." Joey answered
"Neve Campbell?" Tea asked.
"Duh." Joey answered. An idea struck Yugi.
"Hey, guys, we can use the phone to help us!" He said.
"Yeah, that's a great idea, so when we find out who the killer is we can hit him with this!" Malik grabbed the phone head and disconnected it. Everyone looked at him.
"Dun-dun-dun," he said quietly. The phone rang again.
"Uh, hello? Oh hey. It's the killer," he informed them. "Uh-huh, mh-hm, nuh-huh, oooh, yeah, alrighty, bye-bye. On and on-" He said when he hung up.
"Well, what'd he say? Was he mad?" Yugi asked.
"He said what all killers say. Wants to come here. Wants to kill us. Wants us to wait right here." Malik said. They all looked at each other, then ran. Malik ran back, banged on the hook for loose change, and when none came out, he put the broken phone head back on the hook, and ran off.
To stop, or not to stop. That is the question....... Well, since it's so short, I won't stop.......yet.))
group of paranoid and horrified teens entered the library cautiously. Joey motioned for Tea and Sarah to go ahead of the others. They obliged.know, I don't trust this 'Aeris Whatever-her-last-name-is' anymore than I can throw her," Tea told Sarah cattily as they passed her.know, we don't know anything about her, do we? Okay, so I know her, but knowing her makes me suspect her even more...." Sarah agreed. They turned down an aisle of books.did this school get a library?" Malik asked Bakura, still sucking his thumbs.day's a new adventure, huh?" Bakura asked him. Malik nodded in agreement. They also turned down a row of books. Yugi and Aeris walk down the row next to Malik and Bakura.don't understand why anyone would want to do this to us. I mean, we're good kids. ((A/n~ Feh!)) Why? For what reason?" Yugi asked Aeris, turning toward her. Tea walked by the two rows and watched the conversation closely.we're all scared, but you know what? We're going to get out of this," she told him as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He smiled at her gratefully and she turned and kept walking. Suddenly, the creepy, strange, shrouded figure knocked a pile of books off the shelf and they fall on Aeris. She screams as the books hit her and immediately falls to the ground, the books on top of her. Malik looks out to see what happened and is distraught by the sight before him.I'll save you! Oh!" He runs to her side and puts her head in his lap.I caught a glimpse of the killer just before the books hit me-" Aeris told him weakly. Malik interrupted her.your breath, Aeris. There'll be plenty of time for that later," He ordered. She looked at him.I'm dying!" she told him, repulsed. ((A/n~ ::snickers::))right. Then you should probably tell me now!" he contradicted.killer is-" Aeris started, but never finished because another pile of books fell off the shelf and hit Malik and Aeris, killing them both. The others came to investigate. Bakura spoke first.Aeris! Malik! Oh, he was my roommate, my helper in my quest for World Domination! I didn't really know her," he said, pointing to Aeris at his last comment. "He payed half the rent! Now I can't afford to live in my apartment anymore! If I can't afford to live in my apartment anymore, then I don't wanna live!" he decided, running to the window and jerking it open. Sarah followed him. ((A/n~ BAKURA!! DON'T DO IT!! DON'T JUMP!!))You don't even live an apartment, Bakura! You live in an abandoned werehouse! You don't have to pay a rent! Besides, You're already dead!" she told him. Comprehension and remembrance dawned on Bakura.yeah! Let's go back inside then. Thanks!" he told Sarah. She nodded. But before they could go back inside, the killer came by and pushed them both outside the window. Their screams were heard and Joey, Yugi and Tea came to see what happened. Joey recovered first at seeing the face of the killer.I know I was wrong before, but I really, really think dis guy's da killer!" he said, pointing at the creepy, black-caped, Scream-mask- wearing guy. Yugi stepped up to him.are you doing this to us?" he asked. The killer looked at him, then took his right hand and Tea's left hand, and placed them together. Joey stepped up to him next, as Yugi stepped back, and pulled off the killers' mask. His face looked back at him.Yugi asked him, as though in disbelief of the sight before him. Joey kept looking at himself, then the image faded away.Yugi asked. Joey looked around quickly. Then he looked questioningly at Yugi.fell asleep. Bove's looking at you like she's going to kill you!" he told Joey, grinning at the thought. Joey glanced up at Mrs. Boves' desk. Sure enough, Bove was sitting up at it, strumming her fingers on her desk, and giving him a look even Bob the Janitor couldn't compete with. Joey was startled at this statement.She's not da killer, I am!" he said, horrified.Yugi said, looking pretty much as he always does, completely bewildered. Joey ignored him. He had already started moving up towards Bove's desk.ya can let everyone else go. It's my fault we're in here, not theirs," he told her as he approached her desk.how do you figure that?" she asked him.Yugi and Tea ain't together no more-" he started, and Bove interrupted him.I know. I too read the Domino Weekly cover-to-cover, Mr. Wheeler," she told him, smiling slightly.I guess I've been takin' it pretty hard. And I'm sorry I disrupted da class and killed everyone, but I think I know why I did it," he said.then pray tell," Bove said. Joey turned to Yugi and Tea, who were sitting on opposite sides of each other, and looked at each of them in turn.guys have been ta'gether since befor' ya even got ta'gether. And if ya ain't, then I guess I feel like there's nothin' I can depend on. And it really hurts dat dere's nothin' I can do t' fix it," he said. Tea looked at him sympathetically.this isn't your fault," she told him quietly.Joey asked, looking doubtful. Yugi got up from across the room.you're not responsible for this," Yugi said. Joey looked around at Bove.bad happened, Mr. Wheeler, and for the very first time, you're not responsible," Mrs. Bove told him.how come I feel so bad?" He asked her.because you're a troubled young man. I recognize that from the movie, 'A Troubled Young Man,'" she said. "You may all go. Its obvious you've been punished enough." Everyone leaves, except Tea, who was still packing up her stuff. Bove packs up, blows out the candles of the room, and shuts the door, leaving Tea alone in the dark. As soon as she leaves, the shrouded black figure crawls out from behind an unused desk in the back and walks up behind Tea. Far Away~an annoying, high pitched scream could be heard.To Domino City~
