Yuna looked around her, nothing could be seen in all directions but sand, sand, sand & more-ohhh look at the pretty oasis! Yuna automatically began running toward oasis, not even thinking that it could be a mirage…
>I don’t get it, no matter how long I run…I don’t seem to be getting any closer….oh wait…< Yuna stoped as she realised that the oasis that she was running towards was just an illusion….she sighed…>I really need to figure out where I am….< she thought sitting down it the sand exhausted from running….(it was the desert so therefore, HOT!)Yuna then realised the she DID have a portable mini computer with her, she pulled it out & turned it on….
~Good afternoon Miss Bevell~ The computer greeted her & Yuna smiled, her computer, that she affectionately called Fayt, was really her only friend…
“Hey, Fayt!” She greeted happily “So, can you tell me where we are exactly, cause I have no clue….” Yuna asked hopping her friend would be able to help her, not that she had doubts about her computers ability’s, she was just worried..
~No problem, hacking into nearest satellite…….~Yuna waited for the data to come though….~I’m sorry Yuna….I can’t pick up any satellites anywhere!~ Said Fayt after a while making Yuna begin to panic…
“What do you mean?! Your scanners are the best in existence…! You can pick up any satellites no matter where they are!!” Yuna said getting up & beginning to pace.
~I’m not sure what’s going on…..but, just so you don’t yell at me later…there are some people coming…~ Said Fayt showing it to her on the screen….>Hmmm…..it looks like a group….a BIG group…< Yuna thought looking it the direction that they were coming in, all she could see was a cloud of dust now, she looked back at the screen…>A big group getting chased…it would seem< She added as another group came into view.
“Fayt?” Yuna asked her friend.
~Yes Yuna?~ Her computer answered, making Yuna smile at the question she was about to ask.
“Animal, vegetable or mineral?!” She cried giggling slightly, but stoped as the rumble of what seemed to be hooves began getting louder making Yuna look back at the screen, it was as she thought, the first group was almost at her location & the other one had stoped, most likely because they had temporarily lost the ones they were chasing.
Suddenly a whole bunch of people on horse-back rushed over the sand dune next to Yuna startling her, they noticed her & surrounded her all of them ginning at her. >Shit! They’re all men! & I doubt, by their clothes, have ever seen a computer….Where the Hell am I?!< She thought quickly hiding Fayt in her book bag. One of the men got off his horse & began walking towards her, which made Yuna stiffen, readying herself to kick they dudes ass if he tried any thing.
“Well, well, well boy’s, it would seem we have found ourselves a desert flower, instead of the heads-mans block…” The guy, who was obviously the leader, said walking around her admiring her form while his men snickered. Yuna gulped as she tried to figure a way out of this mess…..
