"Hikari, are you here?!" shouted the Al Bhed girl wearing a yellow bikini top and red short shorts.

My name is Hikari. I'm 16 years old with black hair that surpassed my waist and light green eyes and I live on the island of Besaid. I don't really have a family. They were killed in Kilika when Sin attacked the port. I wasn't with them at the time. I was here in Besaid by myself. That was when I received a sphere from my friend, High Summoner Yuna. She has always been something like a sister to me to look up to because I was an only child and she accepted me as hers. When she told me my family died I couldn't get over it. I was alone but Yuna took me in as her sister and her guardian. So the only family I have is Yuna.

Yuna was on something all summoners had to go through. It was their pilgrimage to learn about the different summonings in order to defeat Sin. Her father, High Summoner Braska, defeated Sin and brought the Calm. It only can only last for so long though. So she was off on her pilgrimage to defeat Sin with her guardians and me. Unfortunately two of her guardians or our friends didn't make it out of the final battle. One was Sir Auron who once before was a guardian for High Summoner Braska and the other was Tidus. He was a special guardian. He claimed he was from the ancient city, Zanarkand, and Yuna and I believed him. It was odd but we truly thought he was from the ancient city. Late at nights Yuna and I would ask him what it's like. It was a huge city with towering buildings and never slept or at least that is what he said.

It's been two years since we fought side by side with them and two years since we returned from Yuna's pilgrimage. Everyone was happy but some of our friends had to go their own way. We still keep in touch though. It has been two years since Yuna defeated Sin for good, and two year's since she lost her lover.

Throughout the years I have learned many things. Yuna on her pilgrimage showed me some white magic and how to summon but told me I couldn't summon a monster without going to the chamber of faith. Unbeknownst to my sister, I have been in the same chambers as her. I just hope she doesn't find out soon. I have also learn some black magic from Lulu, how to play blitz ball from Tidus and Wakka, swordsmen ship from Auron, and Al Bhed from Rikku as well as being a thief. One of the people Rikku met, Shinra, made dress spheres. They are really cool and now I don't really have to worry about a change of clothes when I'm going somewhere and get caught in the rain. It was fun but I wanted to have an adventure of my own. An adventure that had everything in it like what I read in books but I don't think that will happen soon.

Today Rikku came by to give Yuna a sphere she found in Mt. Gagazet. She said it possessed a movie of Tidus. I looked up from my book.

"Rikku, think about it, Tidus can't have made a sphere here and then leave. And if that did possibly happen then wouldn't he have come to visit us?" I asked looking at her.

"But Hikari," she whined, "It really is him. Look."

I sighed and took the sphere. Even though Rikku was older then me I acted older then her. It was weird but I guess she's always been a child at heart. As the sphere flickered on I gazed into it. I'd hate to say it but she was right. It was Tidus and it looked like someone imprisoned him somewhere. My book fell to the ground as I stood up from the shades of the tree and ran to where Yuna always was. Rikku followed close behind.

"So does this mean you'll show me where Yunie is?" she asked as I took a turn and headed towards the beach.

"Yes but try not to surprise her too much. Her hopes have been let up too many times to let it drop again ok," I said as we ran on the beach towards the pier.

"Don't worry I'm sure this is him," Rikku said as the wood hit the bottom of our feet.

Yuna sat at the end of the pier looking out towards the sea. Ever since that day, two years ago, she has been looking out towards sea to find any signs of Tidus still being here in our world.

"Yunie!" Rikku shouted and ran towards her.

Yuna turned her body to face us. She was a bit surprised but then smiled at us. She stood up and turned around fully to face us. We stopped just in time and I handed her the sphere. We were breathing heavy as she watched it. I looked up at her and saw her eyes widen.

"Where did you find this?" she asked looking at Rikku and me breathing heavily.

"Rikku found it," I said looking up at her.

"In Mt. Gagazet," Rikku finished, "Yunie there might be more sphere's like that there or all over Spira. How about you join the Gullwings?"

The Gullwings were sphere hunters know in Spira. It was basically Rikku and some other girl I haven't met yet named Paine with Rikku's brother as the captain, Shinra, the Al Bhed super genius, Buddy, the pilot, and Barkeep the nameless Hypello who works on the Celsius. They were cool but Yuna never really wanted me to join with them.

Yuna was silent about the remark. She didn't want to leave her home again, I knew. She wanted to stay here where the people needed her. They needed her guidance. But she also wanted to join Rikku just to find Tidus. There was silence for a while till Yuna looked up and smiled. She then looked at me.

"Hikari, I need you to do something very important for me," Yuna said looking at me straight in the eyes.

I simply smiled and replied, "Of course Sis what is it?"

"I need you to stay here and take my place."

I was surprised by this.

"Hikari, you have to take my duties as the High Summoner here. Please Hikari for me," he said with pleading eyes.

As much as I wanted to say `no I want to go with you' my heart wouldn't let me. I simply smiled.

"Of course sister," I said to her.

She smiled and hugged me while saying, "Thanks Hikari I will make this up to you I swear."

And with that said and done we all went back to the village. Yuna told Lulu and Wakka about it. They disliked it but went with it anyways. They wanted her to be happy as I much as I wanted her to be.

"But Yuna, who will take your place as High Summoner here, you won't be here to help the people of Besaid when they need you?" Lulu asked.

"Don't worry, Hikari is going to take my place," she said.

I nodded and added, "Don't worry I promise that I will do a good job."

They couldn't say much about her decision.

"So you really want to go find him, ya?" Wakka asked.

Yuna nodded and with that the decision was made. Yuna would leave as soon as possible with Rikku to the Celsius. I was sad to know that she would be leaving without me but happy to know she was happy. All three of us rushed over to the hut Yuna and I stayed in. It was small but big enough for the both of us. Yuna was about to pack some clothes when Rikku stopped her.

"No need for all that, we got dress spheres remember?" Rikku asked.

Yuna was surprised but then smiled and placed her clothes back. I was going to miss Yuna and Rikku a lot when they were gone.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It was nightfall when the Celsius came to pick up Yuna and Rikku. For the whole day people were mourning that she was leaving the island but happy to know they were in good hands with me around. Also Yuna, Rikku, and I spent the whole day together. We went all over the island and spent the afternoon at the beach. I never wanted this day to end. It was the first time in a while since we were together like this. Everyone waved good bye to Yuna as I rushed up to her.

"You're going to come back soon right?" I asked as light streams to tears flowed down my face.

Yuna smiled and whipped them away.

"Of course I'll be back soon and well have Tidus with us too," she said.

I nodded and hugged her. Before boarding Rikku gave me a new type of machina that is a direct link to the Celsius. I quickly put it inside one of my brown cloak's pockets and wished them good luck and a safe journey but I don't think they heard. When I said that, they were already on board the Celsius and departing the island that was once Yuna's home. I was up crying that night not knowing I would miss her so much. But deep down I knew everything would be ok.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The next morning I woke up bright and early. Today is the first day of me as a Summoner. Even though I had nothing to summon everyone treated me like I was Yuna. I walked around the island a bit. I encountered some low class fiends so they were that hard to defeat when I was dressed in my warrior dress sphere. I changed back in my normal clothes and went back to the village.

I entered the village and everyone treated me with respect. The only thing I didn't like about this was that everyone addressed me as `High Summoner' instead of my name. That was when I was reported to the temple. I didn't really have any idea why they wanted me to go but I couldn't disobey their orders. When I got the temple my ears were engulfed in the hymn of faith. It was the first song I learned and after my parents died, the only song I would sing and listen to. Everyone did the bow known from the teachings of Yevon (I have no clue what that bow thingy is called) as I walked across with my brown cloak flowing behind me and towards the chamber of faith. There one of the guards was waiting for me. He bowed and I bowed back.

"Lady Summoner we have a problem," he said in a stern voice.

"Yes what is it?"

"It seems that a fiend was able to pass by. Since you are the only one to truly enter the chamber you must dispatch of the fiend."

I nodded and walked forwards towards the door. I pushed them open and walked to the center of the room. The hymn played the loudest in the room as my eyes searched the entire room. I couldn't find the fiend anywhere until I heard an animal type scream behind me. I spun around only to have a dog fiend land on top of me.

It snarled and tried to bite me but I was able to hold it back. It scratched at me at my face and cut me along my stomach and arms. I closed my eyes and wished for a way to defeat this fiend. That's when the hymn grew the loudest. Sparks of light flowed around me as the floor beneath me glowed. I turned my head to see what was going on and beneath me was a city. It looked like Luca only it was much bigger.

"What?" I asked myself as a faint figure appeared in front of me.

It swatted away the fiend and lifted me up by my shirt collar. I looked at the figure and saw it was Auron.

"Auron?" I questioned.

"Yes, Hikari it's time to face you're destiny." He lifted me up higher as the chamber began to fade. "This is where it begins."

"Where what begins?" I asked as air from the city blew my hair back and my cloak flapped in the breeze.

"Your story, your adventure," he said and with that he dropped me and I fell unconscious.

~*~*~*~3rd POV (point of view) in Domino~*~*~*~

"Hey everyone why don't we head to the park," suggested Tea as she and the others wondered the streets of Domino.

"Why not, we don't have anything else better to do?" stated Joey as they walked into the park.

It was a bright and beautiful day in Domino and nothing could go wrong. Well at least that's what they thought. They skies darken as a light rain started to drizzle upon the city. The gang looked up at the sky in confusion. Nothing in the news stated anything about rain. They sighed in defeat and turned around.

"Man there's nothing to do now-a-days. I mean we did possibly everything," stated Tristan.

"Yeah we defeated a mad man wanting souls (Pegasus)," stated Yugi.

"Defeated me in my own game," added Duke.

"Learned about my past," added Yami.

"Entered the battle city tournament," stated Ryou.

"Tried to obtain all three Egyptian God Cards," stated Bakura.

"Entered a vertical nightmare," stated Serenity.

"Saved me from the shadow realm," included Mai.

"And banished my evil side to the shadow realm," finished Marik.

The rain started to get harder as they rushed across the street from the park. Tea turned back to see if anyone was left behind and that's when she saw it.

"They you guys looked at that!" she shouted.

They all turned around to see it. A bright light was falling from the sky. It was beautiful and yet scary. No one could move from their spot as they watched in awe. The thing came crashing down from the sky and into the park.

"Hey let's go see what it is," Yugi said.

"Yeah we might get famous if it's a meteor or something," Joey stated and rushed across the street.

Reluctantly the others followed to see what it was that landed in the park.
