Chapter 12: Drop dead, Weird stuff and...the dream

 

~Max's P.o.V.~

I slumped into the soft couch. InuYasha was still leaning partially against the wall. "Maxine..." he whispered again. "There's food in the fridge I think, if you're hungry..." I said, ignoring the whole fact of Kagome. Acting like it was normal, because I couldn't face anything right now. "Maxine..." he whispered, sitting down and pulling me into his lap like I was a little girl. My head was on his shoulder and he stroked my hair gently. "Don't talk about her...it...don't talk about it..." I whispered. "She's not an it," he said, taking my hand. I pulled away slightly,"What is she? A slut? A whore? That's what she is and the most polite way to say is she's an it...she's awful InuYasha..." I said. He pushed me gently away and stood up, shoving his hands into his pocket,"She...I was in love with her, Max, she's not an...it...she's not a slut or a whore...or...anything but Kagome, Max..." he said quickly and quietly as if he was trying to get it over with. I glared at him, looked like I had to face all this shitty drama right now. "Need I remind you, InuYasha, that you called me a slut about...oh a bit over a year ago," I said, standing up. "Well excuse me for speaking the truth...at the time!" he finished quickly. "You asshole, get out of here..." I whispered viciously, shoving him hard towards the door. He didn't budge,"This is my house too and you're still my wife..." he said, taking my wrists and holding them, too tightly. "Let me go...and get out..." I said. "No," he replied plainly. "LET ME GO AND LEAVE!" I screamed, tugging away,"I wish you would just die, InuYasha, just fucking die in front of me and DROP FUCKING DEAD!" Kim, Meg and Sarah burst into the door,"Um...hi..." Kim said,"Bad time eh?" I wiped my eyes,"Nope, InuYasha was JUST leaving," I said, glaring at him. "NO!" Sarah yelled. I perked a brow. "I mean...no he can't..." she said, calmly,"There's something...important..." I looked back at InuYasha. "Fine...I'll go then..." I muttered, grabbing my keys from the table. Meg stepped in front of me and put her hands on my shoulders,"You will NOT run again, Maxine Lisa..." she said, turning me around. "Get the fuck off, Meaghan, I'm not in the mood," I said bitterly, but slumping down on the couch anyway. "Bring 'em in..." Kim said, nodding to Sarah and Meg. Meg moved from the door and opened it. I blinked as InuYasha's eyes widened. "No--" I muttered. "--fucking way, I know..." Kim finished. Standing in the door was every bit of drama on earth for me and InuYasha.

Miroku, Sango and Shippou walked slowly into our apartment. I stared at them. They stared back. Miroku grinned and kneeled down in front of me,"Would you consider--" he started. I smacked him just as InuYasha punched him in the head. "Back the hell off, monk!" InuYasha said. I looked at him, perking a brow,"I can take care of myself, InuYasha..." I muttered. He blinked,"Fine then, Maxine Lisa!" he said, leaning against the wall, crossing his arms. Miroku stood up, rubbing his head. My attention went to the two other people still standing in the doorway. They were glaring at each other with part hatred, part...almost understanding for one another. It was Kagome and Kikyou. "Mother fucking bad luck, hell of a drama..." I muttered, walking down the hall and slamming the door to mine and InuYasha's bedroom. "Maxine!" Kim yelled, following me and pounding on the door. I burrowed myself into the blankets and ignored it all.

~Sarah's P.o.V.~

Kim followed Max down the hall and starting talking through the door. I looked around me, totally non-believing that most of the characters from one of my favorite animes were in the room with us. Miroku and Sango were sitting down carefully on the couch, looking at us all uneasily. Kikyou and Kagome were now standing across the room from each other, Shippou perched on Kagome's shoulder. InuYasha looked at all of them, his expression a bit...uncomfortable. I cleared my throat and me and Meg exchanged glances, there was one thing on both of our minds. "This is weird..." Kim muttered exactly what we were thinking. I smiled a bit,"Shall I call Will and Jack and Kaiba?" I asked. They nodded lightly so I called 'the men'. They came a bit later in mine and Will's car, walking straight into the cramped apartment.

It was real late, like 11 PM now. Will and me sat on the floor, I was lying down with my head in his lap. His fingers ran through my hair as we all sat in silence. Kim was still in the hallway, but she had drifted off to sleep with her head on Kaiba's shoulder. Jack was digging around the fridge and Meg was looking through the cabinets. Max was moving in her room, slamming things around, crying softly. Everything was heard through the paper thin walls but I knew just how she felt. She was jealous and upset like I had been when I saw Elizabeth last winter.

I yawned lightly and glanced at the clock one last time, it was 12:15 AM now. I closed my eyes and let my thoughts cloud over...

I saw Elizabeth then too, along with Kikyou and Kagome and someone who looked like Serenity Wheeler, Joey Wheeler's sister and Giselle, the whore that smacked Jack in the movie. They were laughing at me and Max, Kim and Meg too. Jack took Meg and disappeared. Kaiba took Kim and disappeared too. Will stepped towards me and disappeared by himself, leaving me there, all I heard was,"You'll know where to follow me...come with me, Sarah..." his voice seemed to fill my head as I watched Kikyou and Kagome remaining, laughing at Max. Then they disappeared too along with InuYasha. Max turned to me and said,"I'll...be fine...go follow Will..." and then I disappeared too...

I snapped awake, hearing yells and shouts and screams,"FUCK YOU!" it was Max...

~Well...I'm all damn spiffy with these...12 already, damnit Meg! In the time you've done like...8! My problem is...shall I read all of yours? And shall I post this story? We shall see...but! Story related questions!

Not much to say, just...what's with Sarah's dream?...til' next time...~
