Here's the chappie, this idea came to me after seeing Go Back To Your Own Time Kagome, when InuYasha's trapped in the sealed hut with Shippo, I got the idea almost as soon as I saw the scene. Well, part of this chapter anyway, some of it came from a Buffy episode, some from another story and some outta the blue.

As you know, I don't own, except the plot, Kyami, Kikila, Chelle, and the others from the orphanage

Chelle ran back into the orphanage, she was bouncing around, hopping in place, trying to contain herself, "come on! Faster, I wanna see Jou-san!" The doors were locked and Kyami walked over, fumbling with the keys,

"hold your horses Chelle, give me a moment." Sesshoumaru leaned against the wall, a small smirk, almost knowing and secretive on his face, Kouga shared a similar one, the door was opened and Chelle bolted in as fast as she could. Kouga chuckled,

"she's in for a shock." Kyami pocketed the keys, eyes wide,

"no!?" Sesshoumaru nodded and Kyami ran in, chasing the Neko,

"Chelle, wait, Chelle!" Sesshoumaru chuckled, looking at Kouga,

"care for a walk?"

Kyami ran as fast as she could, Chelle was too fast, with her childish energy and demon speed there was no way the human Seer could catch her. There was a pause in Chelle's eager chanting, a low creak, "Jou-san, are you awake, are you here?" Kyami rounded the corner, a few moments too late, the door opened, Chelle ventured inwards, "Jou-san?" There was a long pause before a loud scream that turned into a feline yowl ran through the building, Kyami flew fowards, she too not knowing what to expect, moved quickly, clasping her hands over Chelle's widened eyes, the yowling continued, Jou sat in the bed, his hands clasped over his ears which were flattened on his head, his eyes screwed shut in pain,

"make it stop!" With one hand Kyami covered Chelle's mouth, Jou cracked one eye open, then blinked, he blushed darkly, Kyami chuckled,

"don't be embarrassed, glad you three are awake, Chelle are you going to stop screaming, it hurts Jou's ears." She nodded, Kyami removed her hand, placing it once again over Chelle's eyes, "I'll give you a few minutes, Miroku, I need your sealant powers, Sesshoumaru and Kouga start their heat tonight, we need them separate and contained." Chelle wriggled in Kyami's grasp,

"why can't I look, lemme go!" Kyami tugged the girl backwards, Chelle still tried to get out of her grasp, Jou shook his head, chuckling as the door shut,

"that was a wake up call and a half, ohh, my ears." He frowned, "okay, pants, pants are good." Tugging off one of the sheets he crouched on the floor, "c'mere pants, here pants, pants, pants, where are you?" He huffed, glancing around, "aha!" He pulled up his pants in victory, "pants." Tugging then on he tied the sash and faced the floor once more, he pulled up InuYasha's pants, throwing them onto the bed, with a smile he tugged on his white shirt, not bothering with his kimono, then brushed his hair out, InuYasha stood too, Miroku grumbled from his place on the bed, when the two glanced over they spotted a moving lump beneath the sheets as Miroku randomly pulled his clothes from the floor, dressing quickly he stood, pulling on his sandals, then walked over to a small chest, which he opened and pulled out a sack, contained within were demon seals. He smiled,

"okay, now to get food, then seal off the rooms for Sess and Kouga." He walked off and Jou struggled with his brush, he faced InuYasha who shuddered slightly,

"that is very disturbing." Jou nodded in agreement before grabbing his katana and securing it around his waist, then exiting the room.

Kyami poured three mugs of tea, then one for herself, Miroku entered the main hall, taking a tea and sitting on a pillow, "how strong do you need the seals?" Kyami sat as well, sipping her drink,

"enought to hold them for at least five hours when they're at maximum strength." He nodded, Jou and InuYasha plopped down on either side of him, taking their teas, she smiled, "InuYasha certianly took the insentive much quicker with Jou than he did with you Miroku." Jou coughed, lowering the tea,

"w-what?!" Kyami tilted her head, smiling softly,

"come on, dating for a year and a half, finally after seven months have sex, with you two days, tops." Miroku smirked, sipping his tea, Jou ran his tounge along one fang, then along his lips, he sipped his tea and smiled, Kyami reclined slightly, "may I inquire as to what happened to that bed?" Jou lowered his drink,

"the three of us." She moved to speak when the door slid aside, the three males spun around, moving to look, Jou smiled,

"hey, uh, what's up?" Mai waved slightly, then shifted her weight,

"uh, that Kouga guy and Sesshoumaru are outside, I dunno what they're doin' but, it don't look right, like, please tell me you know what I mean?" InuYasha stood,

"come on, let's get them sealed." The three others sitting stood and Kyami smiled at Mai,

"you did the right thing telling us, they're going into their heat tonight, it's gonna be a rough night, Miroku, have your seals ready?"

"Hai."

"Good, let's move." They moved out, through the halls, then outside, soft grunts reached their ears and they rounded a corner, Sesshoumaru and Kouga were on the ground, one could easily mistake what they were doing for wrestling but the others knew better. Jou sighed,

"okay guys, break it up, not outside." Kouga slowly stood,

"leave us alone, you don't know the feeling!" Jou grasped the hilt of Tokijin,

"come on, just move inside, if Youkai catch your scent it'll call Naraku to us, do you want that?" Kouga turned his back,

"right now I couldn't care less!" InuYasha moved his hand upwards, he recieved a nod from Kyami and ran forwards, leaping into the air,

"Iron Reaper Soul Stealer!" He slashed the air and the blades moved through the air, the two separated, rolling along the ground, Jou slashed into his arm, the blood coating his fingers, he too ran forward.

"Blades of Blood!" The reddened, deadly blades danced through the air, they were avoided easily, but tore up the ground, Jou landed, skidding to a stop, "now Miroku!" Before Kouga had the chance to react, a seal hit him in the chest and Miroku ran forward, catching the his staff as Kyami threw it, he spun it around, above his head, then slid to a stop, spinning in a circle, before using the blunt end of the staff to drive the seal further into Kouga's chest,

"rest!" With a soft grunt Kouga hit the ground, Miroku grasped a seal between his middle and forefinger, then whipped it at Sesshoumaru, delivering the same treatment, he nodded in satisfaction as the Inu Youkai hit the ground, "okay, Kyami, help me with Sess, Inu, you and Jou get Kouga." They picked up the two demons and Miroku smiled at Mai, "all in a days work, come on, Kyami, mind his head."

Miroku placed the last seal on the door, "there we go." Mai faced him from her spot in a chair,

"so, you're a monk?" He nodded, "but a ecchi?" He scowled,

"I resent that, I am only an ecchi with my lovers." She nodded, chewing on some gum,

"but you're a monk, aren't they supposed to be chaste?"

"This is a different time and though it would be considered proper I am not a normal monk! I fight demons, I'm cursed and it's not a normal life!" He fell silent, "I wouldn't wish my curse on anyone, not even my worst enemy, who, believe me, I hate more than anything for giving this to me, but, even so, Naraku doesn't even deserve a fate such as this, to have a limited number of days. To have a fear of yourself, to worry that you might kill all of those that you love, to know that no matter what, your fate is inevitable and even though you try your hardest you know that eventually you're going to die, be it yourself or be it time. To have to constantly wear a binding cloth and prayer beads on your hand just to keep the power in, to have people fear you because of something you cannot change or fix, to know that each passing day this thing grows slightly and even the smallest scratch or nick can set the whole thing off and kill you!?" He lowered his head, looking at his palm, "to know that if you were ever to have a child and that if the bastard that is Naraku would live on, that that child would be bound to the same fate as I, to have the a-cursed Kazzana, no, not even my worst enemy deserves a fate such as this, as much as I hate Naraku, as much as I would love to see him suffer, even this, I do not wish upon him." With a sad smile he turned and walked from the hall, Mai watching his retreat with tear filled eyes, she lowered her head, a lone tear falling down her cheek,

"no Miroku, no one deserves that, especially not you."

Jou sat on the floor watching the two doors, the pounding within grew louder, he sipped his drink, InuYasha shook his head chuckling, Sesshoumaru seemed to be the angrier out of the two, "I swear, InuYasha, if you don't let me out of this room right now you'll suffer a fate worse than death, let me out, let me be with my mate!" Kouga spoke next,

"Sess, wait, try the wall, maybe we can break it and fix this." The pounding paused a moment before

resuming, slightly fainter, Jou chewed on his chow mein,

"think they'll break the wall down?" InuYasha shrugged,

"dunno, it's funny as hell though." There was a low thud, followed by a loud curse, it came from Kouga,

"damnit, these seals burn!" Jou took another mouthful of chow mein, Kouga sighed, "it's no use, we can't break through the seals, I just wish we were together, it hurts so bad." The two Youkai seemed to forget about the Hanyou, Sesshoumaru moved to console his mate,

"I know koi, I feel it too, the need, the burning, but, we have to stay strong, we can't give in or else we're no more than the animal." A deep sigh,

"I know, where are you?"

"Sitting against the wall, by the door, why?" There was shuffling from Kouga's room,

"there, now we're about back to back, it makes the pain less." Jou finished his meal and glanced up as Kyami enetered, she nodded, the two stood, letting her take over, Jou entered the kitchens, Chelle looked up from a tea, she smiled,

"hi Jou-san, sorry about this morning." He smiled, disposing of his dishes,

"it's alright, finished?" He took the mug and placed it in the basin as well, then exited, he faced InuYasha, "want to spar?"

"You mean, actually spar?"

"Yes, we need to be ready incase Naraku shows up."

"Sure."

Jou swung Tokijin above his head then downwards towards InuYasha, who blocked it with Tetseiuga, he slid up to Jou, bearing his fangs, "don't hold back!" He flung him backwards and Jou landed on his back, hopping up quickly, he spotted Mai, Seto, Yugi and Yami watching, he frowned,

"yes?" Mai cocked her head,

"why are you guys so avid on fighting?" InuYasha approached,

"we have to be ready for Naraku." Mai nodded,

"yeah, Miroku was talking about him, who is he?" Jou stuck his sword in the ground, leaning on it,

"evil, in the real bad sense, he's powerful, strong, smart and deadly. Fifty years ago he cursed Miroku's grandfather with the Wind Tunnel, it passed to Miroku, he killed my family, my mother, my father, my sister, all those I cared about. It's a long story, but, he was human, but gave up his body for demons to inhabit, he was reborn, he desires power, as much as he can get, he can create incarnations from himself. They get stronger with each one, he wants to kill us, take our power, our essances and add it to his own." Mai frowned,

"but so many here are young." Jou nodded,

"younger the better, they don't fight back, easier for him to kill and drain power." He sighed softly, "it truly is a sad story, if we are caught unprepaired, many children are going to die, like the attack on the orphanage. Worse, he can corrupt minds, turn people against each other, he is so powerful even Kyami cannot see when he will strike, I suggest you prepare for a fight as well, just incase, good night." The two entered the building Mai sighed, facing Seto, the vampire glanced down,

"it truly is a damned fate. If it is to be, there is nothing we can do."

Whew, done, next chapter, enter Shippo! Yay, *dances* he will be different, older, less annoying. Yep, oh and the Miroku and Mai scene, for a friend! See you later
