[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Merry Meet and Blessed Be my readers! I hope that you all enjoyed Lammas, one of my favourite holidays! Wiccan Thanksgiving of sorts, yep, I'm a Wicca, damn straight! This chapter is slightly sad and has a lemon! Yay! I had to fit in another before I finished off the story, maybe one or two chapters left. *sighs* I can't write long chaptered stories. This chapter was slightly hard to write because I had so many ideas going through my head, also, I'll be updating as often as I can, hopefully, maybe I can get this fic finished before the third, when my internet conks for a month, since I'm moving *grumbles* unfair.

Please check back for updates, I'll do so as often as possible.

Don't own!

See you at the bottom!

InuYasha ran to Miroku's side as the monk collapsed, his Wind Tunnel closing, Jou scrambled over, tears pouring off his face mixing with the rain. InuYasha's head shot up, the Youkai were retreating, it had all be a trap, a ploy to get Miroku killed and his heart broke in two when he spotted Kikyou sitting in a tree a hive in her hands and an evil smirk spread upon her lips. He stood, barely aware of his movements and unsheathed his sword, he shot forwards, a snarl ripping from his throat as his lips pulled back to reveal deadly sharp fangs, in one quick strike he severed her head from her body. The sound of shattering clay rang through the air as he landed by the head, he resheathed Tetseigua and crushed the once beautiful face beneath his foot, the clay turning to powder, he ran back towards his lovers, Jou was currently trying to comfort the panicking Miroku. Both his hands clasped around the beaded one, "hush, we'll fix this and you'll be fine, shhhh, don't worry." Miroku was gasping in breaths, sounding slightly as if choking on the precious air,

"i-it h-hurts." InuYasha looked up,

"Kaiba, Yugi, Ryou!" The three glanced over, InuYasha looked at the vampire, "do you know what Nettle looks like?"

"Of course." InuYasha nodded,

"good, go, find some, hurry!" Instantly, as if in a blink Seto was gone, InuYasha glanced at the two humans, "do you know King's Foot?" Ryou nodded,

"yes, it's a weed." InuYasha nodded,

"good, check for some, around dead trees, quickly." They shot off and InuYasha gently grasped Miroku's ankles, Jou grasped his shoulders and as one the two Hanyou lifted, moving quickly to move their lover inside, out of the cold. For they knew, but would never voice the fact that he was dying, and it hurt and scared them more than anything.

Jou set Miroku onto the bed and brushed his hair out of his face, Miroku was burning up, Chelle had followed them, silently. He turned to her, "Chelle sweetie, can you get me cold water and a cloth as well as a glass of cold water?" She exited and Miroku weakly clawed at his clothes,

"so hot." Gently ridding Miroku of his upper garments, leaving his pale torso visable, it was gleaming with sweat, InuYasha knelt by Jou, Chelle entered, setting both the basin and the glass down, then with a bow leaving wordlessly, she knew this was a personal matter, one she was not involved in. Jou wrung out the cloth, lightly pressing it to Miroku's forehead and cheeks,

"how's that feel?" Miroku gave a small smile,

"cool, nice." InuYasha faced Jou,

"I'll go see Jemma, see if she has any Emeralds." Jou nodded softly, turning back to Miroku as the monk slipped into unconscienceness, he sighed, if they were lucky Miroku would still be alive by nightfall...if they were lucky.

The others returned sooner than both Hanyou had expected, hands filled with King's Foot and Nettle, Kyami was currently brewing a tea, but, it took two hours for the oils to extract, Miroku was running out of time. Everyone, including him, knew. Miroku winced in pain as he moved his right arm, Jou picked up the glass Miroku had been reaching for and helped the human sit and drink the water, slowly lowering Miroku to the bed. Miroku's whole right arm was streaked with anrgy webs of red and black posionous lines, Miroku extended his left hand to Jou's face, "this is my destiny." Jou shook his head, eyes shining with tears,

"no, you'll get through this and we'll sever Naraku's head then we'll be free of this, be normal, as normal as possible and move to a village and raise kids and teach them to cause havoc on the normies." Miroku chuckled slightly, then winced in pain, Jou bit his lip, willing the tears away, but, they overtook him, he glanced at Miroku,

"you can't leave me Roku, not when I just found you again, you can't, please." InuYasha lay a hand on his shoulder and Jou dried his eyes, Miroku leaned into the cool cloth the white haired male was pressing to his fever ravaged forehead, he gave a lazy, feverish smile,

"hey, 'Yasha?" Golden eyes turned downwards,

"yes Roku?" Miroku attempted to reach forward with his good arm,

"your twin is really pretty." InuYasha patted Miroku's left hand as he fell back into a fevered sleep, Jou stood,

"he's getting worse, his fever's taking hold." InuYasha stood as well,

"then I'll get some Thyme." He moved to the door and Jou sighed,

"he's not going to make it 'Yasha." InuYasha growled, spinning around and letting out a low snarl, he grabbed a bowl from the chair beside him and hurled it at Jou, who ducked,

"shut up! Don't say that, we have to try, he can't die!" Jou stalked towards the other, wrapping his arms about InuYasha, holding the angered and struggling elder Hanyou to him, he hushed him, InuYasha turned to Jou, "he can't leave me, wherever he goes I follow, he can't leave me behind, I don't want him to go where I can't follow him." Crystaline tears rolled down the pale cheeks, "I don't wanna be alone Jou." Jou embraced him fully and Jou stroked the alabaster mane, then kissed the top of InuYasha's head,

"I'll always be here for you, that's a promise, you're right, we shouldn't give up on him, go get some Thyme." InuYasha nodded and was nearly out the door when a faint, pained gasp from Miroku drew both two his side, blue eyes opened, a startling icey blue, light, as if taken by frost, a sign Miroku was just hanging on. Miroku reached for Jou, who knelt down, Miroku's voice was hushed, pained, as if breathing hurt,

"Jou, hush, don't say anything, it's my time, please, don't be sad for me, neither of you." He squeezed Jou's hand in affection, "Jounouchi Katsuya, you were and still are my anchor, you kept me grounded and helped me through hard times, I knew I could always count on you, be it: I needed someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, ears to rub, a sparring partner, a confidante, a lover, and a friend, you were always there for me. I'll never forget you, nor the times we shared. 'Yasha, where to start, you were a living mystery to me a puzzle that begged to be solved, you always kept me on my toes, there to listen just like Jou, the both of you made me laugh, I love you both and you'll both be in my heart, always." Miroku forced his right hand to move, placing InuYasha's hand over Jou's, then placed his other hand atop their's, he lowered his head slightly, "at least no one is further cursed, kill Naraku, live on, I shall wait for the both of you, I love you, goodbye." He gave a small smile, a soft sigh escaping his lips as his head lulled to the side, his right hand sliding off the pile and falling to the bed, Jou's chin shook, tears overflowing from his eyes,

"no, no, Roku, don't leave." He gasped, buring his head with InuYasha's chest, InuYasha allowed the tears to course down his cheeks silently, he lowered his head to Jou's,

"Miroku, beloved, don't go, don't leave us where we can't follow." The two glanced up at a low creak, heads shooting up, they faced the doorway, hearts clenching further at the sight. Kouga stood there, head bowed, but the truly saddening sight, the tea, the one thing that could have saved Miroku's life, was in a steaming mug in Kouga's hand.

The sound of shattering porceline broke the silence as Kouga spun and ran off, he moved swiftly through the halls, then burst into the main room, everyone glanced up, Kouga sucked in air, "Sess, come, need help, Miroku didn't make it." Sesshoumaru understood instantly, shooting up and running with his mate through the halls, Kyami at their heels, Sesshoumaru entered the room,

"outou?" InuYasha looked up, Sess had to bite back the urge to rip Naraku's head off at the sorrow on his little brother's face, "I need you to move, both of you." The two Hanyou stood, moving to the side, the Yugi-tachi piled up in the room, Sesshoumaru pulled out his sword, the light glinting off the blade, Mai ran forwards,

"what're you doing?!" Kouga held her back,

"what needs to be done." Sesshoumaru lifted the blade, eyes studying Miroku's form, his eyes narrowed and when he spoke his breath came out in a hiss,

"there." He swung downwards, the blade slashing clean through Miroku, the bed and the air, a yellow light arced from the sword and there was a loud gasp as Miroku shot up, clutching at his chest. Jou ran to the bed, collapsing to his knees,

"Miroku, oh god, you're alive!" InuYasha too, followed Jou, his eyes met Sesshoumaru's emotions shining through them, no words could convey his feelings, the Inu Youkai sheathed Tenseiga and nodded, smiling,

"you're welcome." He ushered the others out and shut the door, Jou was hugging Miroku to him, tears of joy flowing from his eyes,

"don't you ever scare me like that again, oh god Miroku, you really had me scared." Miroku wiped the tears from Jou's face, embracing InuYasha as well, the human pressed a kiss to both of their shoulders, his eyes too were damp,

"I'm sorry I scared you, god I love you two." Jou sunk his fangs into Miroku's neck, marking, InuYasha did the same and they pulled back, Miroku kissed Jou lovingly, the blonde gripped Miroku tightly, never wanting to let the human go, when they parted, Miroku's lips dove to InuYasha's. Jou kissed Miroku's chest,

"I love you Miroku, so much." Miroku drew back, groaning slightly,

"gods, I need the both of you so badly." There was a momentary pause where time stood still, as if the three read each other's mind, they moved in a flurry, Jou quickly moving Miroku to rest atop his chest and pulling off his kimono and haori tossing them to the floor.

No words needed to be said, Miroku slowly nibbled on Jou's shoulder as he prepped the blonde, two fingers scissoring in him, as two moved in him. He pressed into Jou's prostate, the blonde keened, his body jolting and Miroku smiled, pressing a soft, chaste kiss to Jou's lips before slowly slicking the oil over himself and with a reassured nod he slid into the blonde. While waiting for InuYasha to enter him he whispered sweet nothings into Jou's ear, then arched his back as he felt InuYasha enter him, they settled into a rythmn, their pants and moans filling the room. Miroku was quickly losing his grip on reality, he was too pent up and too emotionally overrun that he couldn't hold on for long. As he pounded relentlessly into Jou he rested his forehead on the blonde's chest as InuYasha let loose into him. Miroku let out a loud howl, his back arching and he spasmed as he realeased into Jou who bit into his neck as his essance coated his hand and stomach, in turn InuYasha bit the other side as he filled Miroku. The three collaspsed and Jou and InuYasha bit the other's neck as they shuddered from the remainants of their release. Jou rested his head on Miroku's chest, listening as the jackhammering slowed to a soothing thump, he smiled, "that's a beautiful sound." InuYasha rested his head beside Jou's,

"mmm-hmmm." Miroku kissed each one,

"god, I was so scared." Jou snuggled into his neck,

"so were we." InuYasha glanced up at a soft scratching between his ears before resting his head back on Miroku's chest, Miroku sighed,

"that feeling of isolation and aloneness is overwhelming." Jou nodded, Miroku was falling asleep, Jou shut his eyes,

"Roku."

"Hmmm?" InuYasha yawned, eyes shutting as well, fininshing Jou's sentance,

"can we keep you?"

"Mmm-hmmmm." Both Hanyou gave a sleepy smile, embracing their human lover and allowing his scent and steady heartbeat to lull them to sleep.

***

The three exited their room and entered the main hall, instantly the chatter stopped and all eyes watched the three as they walked into the room, InuYasha sank to his knees by his brother, wrapping his arms about the elder. Sesshoumaru was startled, but hugged his brother back, InuYasha rested his head against Sesshoumaru's shoulder, the silk absorbing his tears, "thank you, no words can describe my thanks, I know you know how I feel." Sesshoumaru drew back, he looked at Kouga and smiled, then nodded,

"I do, you're welcome, enjoy your time together." InuYasha nodded, standing, the second he was clear of his brother Sesshoumaru gave a starled cry, falling back as he was tackled by a blur in Ice Mouse, Miroku, InuYasha, Kouga and Kyami burst into laughter as Jou pulled back, he stood, then toed the ground,

"um, thanks." Sesshoumaru stood, dusting himself off before resting a hand on Jou's shoulder and smirking,

"Hanyou." He shook his head and walked off, leaving Jou blinking, both Hanyou faced the Inu Youkai and huffed, speaking in usion,

"hey, that hurts!" Sesshoumaru paused at the door, he looked back and smirked, it turned to a loving smile and he nodded before exiting fully. Kyami approached Miroku, he bowed his head,

"hello Kyami." She pulled him into a hug, he hugged her back and they parted with a smile, she faced the two half-demons and ruffled up their hair, Otogi and Honda ran into the room and Honda nibbled on his lip,

"uh, quick question, what's Naraku look like?" Kyami faced him,

"why such a question?" Jou sniffed the air and a low growl rumbled from his throat, his ears slicked back against his head and he grasped the hilt of his sword as his eyes flashed red,

"maybe because the bastard's right outside."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Done the chapter! Yay! Sorry for the cliffe. I know that Inu sounded alot like Sam from ROTK, but, meh, that was a sappy scene. I love it, I can see Inu saying that line, so, he did, so there ;P don't own Lord of the Rings. Incase you got confused, Nettle is an actual herb used for an antidote, as a Wicca I have used it, my friend was bit by a snake, of course, it doesn't take two hours to make, but, that was for effect. King's Foot, I'm not sure if it's real, again, I got it from LOTR, the first movie/book, when Frodo was stabbed by the Morgul blade. Emeralds are also used for posions, both of the chi and of the body, they're usually placed over the effected area. Thyme is used to reduce fevers, I could have used Gypsum, but, I'm not sure if it grows in Japan, also, it tastes NASTY! My mom used to sneak it in my teas when I was sick, 'till we found out Thyme does the same...waittasec, I dunno if Nettle grows in Japan either, meh, writer's liscence. There ya go, you've learned a few herbal remedies, garanteed to work, if done right.
Bet you never thought of Tenseiga, nyahhh! ;P
R&R peoples!
