Serena blinked. "What do you mean he wasn't human?"

"Exactly what I said. You see, the reason you became sick was because you hadn't been to the Shadow Realm in years...and you couldn't survive without it's energy infusing within you at least once every ten years." Explained Bakura calmly.

"What do you mean?" Asked Serena slowly.

"I mean your father was the Dark Magician! You're half Duel Monster!" Exclaimed Bakura hotly.

"Nothing can ever be simple can it? No, of course not. I have to leave for Juban, and now you tell me this!" Exclaimed Usagi.

"Well, I thought you ought to know." Said Bakura.

Usagi suddenly sank to her knees and started to cry. It was just to much for her.

Bakura knelt beside her, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "There there now Ren, it's alright. Shhhhh..."

Usagi pushed Bakura away. "How long have you known?"

Bakura did not answer.

"How long?" She demanded again.

"Since you were a child." Said Bakura quietly, not meeting her gaze.

Usagi sighed. "Bakura...there's nothing to be done about it, I suppose. But I can do something about Endymond...I have to Bakura."

Bakura wrapped his arms around her. "If you must go, then I will go with you. I won't lose you Ren, not again."

"But Ryou has school..."

"That's alright, if he doesn't want to go, you will keep the ring." Said Bakura. He took her hand and lead her out amongst the group.

"...So the ring houses his spirit, he's connected to it and he goes where it goes." Ryou was still trying to explain Bakura's existence to the four girls.

"Guys, I'll go back to Juban with you." Said Usagi.

Ryou looked sad. "Usagi..."

"I'm going with her, Ryou." Said Bakura.

Ryou looked torn. "But-but...I need you Bakura...but I can't leave...father..."

"It doesn't matter to me if you choose to stay or go Ryou. Usagi will carry the ring." Said Bakura coldly.

Ryou sighed. "I can't leave Domino Bakura...Do what you wish." He said quietly.

So it was, that three days later, Usagi, Rei, Mako, Mina, Ami, Luna, Artemis, and Bakura in the ring stood at Domino International Airport with tickets for a flight to Juban.

Seto hugged Usagi lightly. "I'm going to miss you Usa, don't forget to call every now and then alright? I'll try to visit whenever I can." He told her.

"You better Seto!" Said Usagi with a smile.

Mokuba looked at her sadly. "Do you have to go Usa? I'm going to miss you." Said Mokuba.

Usagi hugged him. "And I'll miss you, but I'll visit whenever I can Ok Mokuba?" Said Usagi with a smile.

"Aw, ok." Replied Mokuba sadly.

The final warning call sounded. Usagi, Rei, Lita, Mina, and Ami boarded the plane. Ami sat next to the window by Rei across from Mina who sat next to Lita who was sitting by the window.

Usagi, not having a partner, sat behind them, in the aisle seat. Beside her was a young boy with platinum blond hair staring out the window.

"So Meatball head, I guess I'm stuck with you!" joked Rei as she stuck her head around to talk to Usagi.

"Don't threaten me Rei!" Said Usagi before she busted out laughing.

The platinum blond boy's eyes widened and he turned quickly to see the silver haired girl beside him. He smiled widely.

"Hello." He said.

Usagi turned to look at him and smiled. "Hello." She turned back to her friends.

Malik sneered at Maric. /You go through all this trouble to keep an eye on her and she doesn't even know you fool!/

//It doesn't matter. She will remember in due time.// Replied Maric.

/Lovesick fool./ Snarled Malik before he shut off the link.

Maric continued watching Usagi. Finally, she turned to him. "What's your name?" She asked.

"Maric." He replied.

"I'm Usagi." She said. A curious look came over her face, and the ring she wore began to glow.

"Malik." She said softly.

"No, Maric now." He said with a smile, pleased she was starting to remember.

Mako looked over her seat. "Oooooh, Usagi who is your cute friend and why haven't I met him before?" She asked, causing the rest of the gang to turn and look.

"This is Maric, Maric this is Mina, Rei, Ami, and Mako." Said Usagi, pointing out each in turn.

Maric smiled at them. "Hello." He said. Usagi thought Mina would faint.

"He looks just like my old boyfriend." Said Mako dreamily. Rei sweatdropped.

Luckliy for Maric, the lady with the food cart came by then and distracted the girls.

"Where are you staying Sere-uh-Usagi?" Asked Maric as they exited the plane.

"With Rei." Said Usagi.

"Oh." Maric looked disappointed.

"What brings you here anyway, Maric?" Asked Usagi.

"My sister is setting up her museum here, I thought I'd stop by and visit her." Said Maric with a shrug. Suddenly he paused. His head shot up. 50 feet above their heads, a black cloud was forming.

People began to scream and run. Usagi and the gang transformed quickly. Maric didn't even seem fazed by it.

Endymond appeared as the cloud faded. "Hello Sailor Scouts. Did you miss me?" He sent a firball hurdling towards Usagi. She leapt out of the way. Maric withdrew his rod and attempted to control Endymond's mind. His attempt failed.

"WHAT?!" He cried.

/Fool! He's using shadow powers of his own! They are more developed then yours will ever be!/ Snapped Malik. Maric ignored him.

"Mars Flame Sniper!" (sorry, I don't know the subbed names) The attack didn't even faze Endymond.

"Jupiter Oak Evolution!"

"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!"

These two didn't fare much better.

Endymond laughed. "Your pitiful attacks won't hurt me Sailor Scouts!" He fired another blast, this time at Maric.

Maric leapt quickly to the side, but the attack grazed his arm.

Venus Love Chain Encircle!" No luck.

Usagi tried her best to attack, but Endymond didn't give her enough time. He shoved her against the building. "Give me the silver crystal!" He hissed.

"Never!" Usagi kicked him. He let go. She ran, then turned to perform her attack.

"Crystal Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!" (...I think I got it right. Blame DIC if I didn't!)

No effect.

"Bay Sword Thunder!" (another wild guess)

"Submarine Reflection!" (Blame DIC)

"Pluto Deadly Scream!"

Endymond looked up angrily before fading in the black cloud.

Maric hurried over to Usagi. "Serenity, are you alright?" He asked.

"Fine Maric, just fine." Said Usagi, before checking on the others.

"So, let me get this straight Koneko, you think that the power of these millennium items will help us defeat him?" Said Haruka.

Mina, Mako, Ami, Rei, Haruka, Hotaru, Michiru, Setuna (sp?), Luna, Artemis, Maric, and Usagi sat in Rei's room at the temple.

"Exactly. Maric and I each have one, Ryou, my brother, has one, and Yugi Mouto has one, and Pegasus has one. There are others, but they are currently unaccounted for." Said Usagi with a nod.

"Your forgot Isis's." Chimed in Maric, twirling his rod idily.

"So I propose we get Yugi and Ryou to bring them here. Isis is already in town." Said Usagi.

"It couldn't hurt." Said Rei.

Setuna stood up. I will use the timegate to fetch them. It will be much quicker. She opened a portal and stepped through it. Everyone just sat and waited.

That is, until Usagi's stomach growled. Rei sweatdropped.

"Want me to go make something Rei?" Asked Mako.

"Would you Mako?" Usagi was almost drooling.

Maric bit his lip to keep from cracking up. This Serenity wasn't much different from the one he remembered.

Yugi sat across from Ryou in Ryou's living room. The boy had seemed depressed since Usagi had left just a few hours ago. Yami thought it had something to do with the fact that Bakura had left, as they were two halves of the same soul.

Surprisingly, Seto had chosen to join them. He said it was only because Mokuba wanted to come, but they knew better. He had sat in an armchair, working, as usual, while Yugi, Ryou and Mokuba played games. However, when Ryou got out Monopoly and Mokuba asked to play, he said no. Well, until Yami had taken over Yugi for a moment and said Kaiba was afraid to lose. Then he joined in the game.

Yugi was winning, Seto close behind. Seto had just landed on boardwalk, which Yugi had a hotel on, when a portal appeared above the game board and a woman stepped out onto it, wrecking the game.

Mokuba yalped and grabbed onto Seto, Yami took over Yugi instantly and stood up to face the woman.

"Who are you?" He demanded.

"I am Sailor Pluto the Keeper of Time." She said.

"A scout?" Asked Seto, surveying her outfit.

"Yes, and I have come to ask your help. The others are in grave danger, and we believe the millennium items can be of some use to us." She said.

Ryou paused. "I, suppose, I could go." He said.

"I can't, my grandpa, I can't leave him alone!" Said Yugi.

Seto rolled his eyes. But, if Usagi thought it would help... "Yugi use my cell phone and ask your grandpa if you can go." Said Seto, tossing the phone to Yugi. He hesitated, but finally called. He hung up five minutes later.

"I can go."

Seto nodded. "I'm coming to then."

"Me to me to!" Exclaimed Mokuba.

"Well...alright, but just so I can keep an eye on you." Said Seto.

Just as Mako brought out the food a timegate opened and Setuna, Seto, Mokuba, Yugi, and Ryou stepped through.

Usagi remembered something. She reached into her purse to grab the millennium ring, when she heard a voice in her head that sounded suspiciously like Bakura's.

/Little slow on the uptake, aren't we? You mean you haven't noticed the ring hads been around your neck for the last hour?/ Bakura laughed. Usagi sweatdropped, and rolled her eyes, but didn't respond. Instead she removed the ring from her neck and handed it to Ryou.

Ryou took it, and slipped it around his neck. The smile returned to his face once again.

"Ok, mind filling us in?" Asked Seto.

So, the explanations began...
