Summary: Kisara teleported everyone to Egypt, and told them the way to get to the place where the Millennium Rod can be found. She granted all of them a special talisman with a few abilities that will help them. Jessica was way ahead of everyone and Nightshade got on her horse to go and stop Jessica in her tracks, followed by everyone else. Nightshade summoned a horse for everyone from another dimension where her and Seto's horses are from. Kathleen summoned everyone some food and drinks so they won't go hungry.

 

Jessica is giving second thoughts to leaving her group/friends, and going off on her own to find Marik before anyone else does, or will Jessica decide to stick with the group and continue along with them? Find out and I hope you all enjoy the story.

 

 

 

 

It is late at night, and Jessica is asleep, till she wakes up, fully awake. She is thinking whether she should go off on her own and find Marik herself, or if she should stay with the group. She decides to leave the group and find him herself. She packs everything up quietly so no one wakes up. She gets on her horse, and rides off into the night, leaving a note for Nightshade.

 

The next day, Kisara shows up and wakes everyone up with her loud roar. Everyone looks around them and sees that Jessica has left, and also happy to see Kisara.

 

Kim: Hey, where did Jessica go?

 

Kisara: She left last night on her horse to find Marik on her own. She felt that she didn't need anyone's help in this case for some reason, but we can find her easily.

 

Amara: How?

 

Kisara: As fast as I can fly and as far as I can see, I can find her and bring her back.

 

Nightshade: And you didn't have the guts to go and try and stop her?!?!?! What kind of dragon friend are you!!!!!?

 

Seto: Take it easy Nightshade. I'm pretty sure we'll find her.

 

Nightshade: How!?!? She's miles away from us and we don't know what direction that brat could have gone too.

 

Amara; I think it would be best of we all followed you on our horses, just in case things got really bad.

 

Flare: Sounds good to me. Let's do it!

 

Nightshade: Don't let us down Kisara.

 

They all pack up their stuff and followed Kisara on their horses. About 80 miles later (Their horses can run really fast and not get tired as easily as normal horses….. HINT!), they see Jessica on her horse riding off in the desert. Kisara picks up the pace and speeds up to Jessica, flying down right in front of her horse, blocking her way to finding Marik on her own.

 

Jessica: Get the hell out of my way Kisara, I don't have time for another talk of what our…..

 

Before she could finish, Kisara roared so loud, it made her horse rear up and knocked Jessica off down to the ground.

 

Jessica: What the hell are you doing Kisara?!! (She said rubbing her head) (I imagine that had to hurt, it's not fun when you fall off your horse, been there, done that.)

 

Kisara: This quest was not meant for people to split apart and think that they can handle this on their own. (She said raising her voice some with a bit of anger… Warning, never mess with dragons =P)

 

Jessica; I don't care; I just want to find Marik so he will be okay!

 

Rei: Leaving us and asking for a death wish in this desert isn't going to bring your lover back. It doesn't matter how much you despise staying with us, but you might want to think twice before you decide to leave again. (She said riding up on her horse)

 

 

Nightshade: We need you're help Jessica, please, if you keep running away, this journey will never end and we won't succeed.

 

Jessica now had to think about which way she should go. Either stay with her friends and have them help her, or go off on her own, get lost in the hot scorching desert with no food or water, and die.

 

Jessica; Alright, I will stay with you guys (She said crossing her fingers. Jessica is going to make one more attempt to try and go off on her own.)

 

Everyone thanked Jessica for staying with them and helping them succeed on this.

 

Mina: I wish it wasn't so hot (She said as she took a drink from her water).

 

Nightshade, Kathleen, Katrina and Jen, looked at each other and said: We can handle that!

 

Nightshade, Kathleen, Katrina touched each others hands, closed their eyes, while Jen was summoning a cool wind from the East (Hint, pathway is created), while Nightshade, Kathleen and Katrina summoned some clouds filled with rain. They opened their eyes, looked up, and raised their arms up to the sky, and rain had begun to fall.

 

The Scouts/Warriors, and the guys were all in awe at what they had done, even the animals were all happy. All the horses stood there and let the cool rain and wind hit their bodies, and so did everyone else.

 

 

Rei: We can't believe how amazing you guys really are.

 

Lita: Yeah, it's also amazing that this all really happened 5,000 years ago and we actually lived in this country.

 

 

After everyone cooled off, they all got on their horses, and notice a pathway right next to them.

 

Jen: Oh look, I found a pathway, heh, must have happened when I made the wind come in from the east.

 

Serena: Looks like a……yellow brick road.

 

Rei: Very good, Meatball head.

 

That really set Serena off on fire and the girls started fighting, till Amara and Lita broke them up.

 

Lita: I wish you guys would stop fighting already (She said with a loud sigh).

 

Nightshade: Oh no not again. (She sees Jessica on her horse again).

 

Nightshade: Be right back guys. Come on Swiftwind (Ok now her horse and Seto's have a name, Swiftwind and Starwind).

 

Hikari: Man, what is it with Jessica Now a days? This is the second time she has ran off from us.

 

Tatsuki: I don't know, but I hope Nightshade can talk some sense into her

 

(Everyone watched as Nightshade and her horse ran after Jessica, again).

 

Swiftwind ran even faster then before while chasing down Jessica.

 

Nightshade: Go Swiftwind Go!

 

Nightshade got along side of Jessica and jumped off, pushing Jessica into the sand, while Swiftwind went to go stop the other horse from running.

 

Jessica got out of Nightshade's grip, till she used a hidden power to root Jessica's feet to the ground.

 

Nightshade: What the hell are you thinking Jessica! What has gotten into you!

 

Jessica” I don't like this idea of sticking with a group, and I am usually really cooperative too, but this idea of this teamwork idea is no fun and a bunch of bullshit! (She hissed at Nightshade).

 

Nightshade: This doesn't sound like you at all! Why do you hate me so much? (She gave a questioning look, and Nightshade saw a Millennium Symbol glow on Jessica's forehead, and her voice changed a bit. Marik had gotten a hold of the Millennium Rod!)

 

Nightshade: Oh no (she said softly).

 

Jessica: Oh yes, and Jessica is no longer here!

 

Nightshade: What do you mean she is no longer here and who the hell are you!!!?!!!

 

Jessica/Marik: You'll find out soon enough

 

Jessica broke free and got back on her horse to the temple of where the rod was suppose to be…..Marik has gotten a hold of the Millennium Rod, and took control of Jessica's mind! This is going to be another fun task for the group.

 

Everyone rode up on their horses to where Nightshade was, and saw Nightshade on her knees.

 

Yami: What happened Nightshade? Where is Jessica?

 

Nightshade lowered her head and said: We're too late.

 

 

Next chapter, Jessica rides off to the temple where Marik is waiting for her to arrive. Now that he has the Millennium Rod, all hell is soon to break loose, and the group is in serious trouble. Will they be able to defeat some of the creatures Marik will send after them?
