Summary: Last time, Nightshade and Hikari were captured by Marik's Winged Dragon of Ra. Kisara and the rest of the group followed her to the temple, which was about four more miles. Once they got there, they looked for Nightshade and Hikari, but they didn't expect what was coming towards them, and what they didn't expect to see.

 

Nightshade was dead on the ground, and Jessica broke free of her mind control. Everyone was in tears that day, even the horses and pets…… especially Swiftwind and Starwind

Now it's up to Swiftwind and Starwind to remember what can cure her poison and bring her back to life

 

 

 

 

 

Everyone was trying to remember something from their past (not Egypt past, but before all of this happened in the present), of what can cure Nightshade's poison out of her system.

 

 

Swiftwind and Starwind were having a conversation with the other horses (strange, I don't remember horses talking, oh well), of what they remember back in their own world, before they met Nightshade and Seto.

 

 

Just then, one of the horses remembers a cure for poison like this, but she is not sure if it will work, since the poison in Nightshade's body is not curable (or so they think).

 

Horse 1: I think I remember awhile back, some plant has the power to cure any type of poison, but I don't quite remember what the plant is called.

 

Starwind: Is it back on our world?

 

Horse 1: Yes. But it's been so long that I don't even know if the plant still exists. (She said lowering her head).

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): I remember what the plant is called and where it can be found.

 

Starwind (to Swiftwind): What is it called?

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): It is called Moonlight Primrose, and it has the power to cure any poison stronger then it.

 

Starwind (to Swiftwind): Where can it be found?

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): It is a long and dangerous journey, but it can be found in the Valley of Whispering Woods.

 

Starwind (to Swiftwind): Valley of Whispering Woods?!! That place is guarded by one bad griffon, and no one has ever been able to beat him.

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): I know, but I believe in you, and you can defeat him.

 

Starwind (to Swiftwind): How?

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): You will have to fight him by using your speed, skills, and abilities. I know you can defeat him, but you will need to beware of his minions. He has three of them, and they are not easy to take down.

 

Starwind (to Swiftwind): Great, now I feel like a sacrifice

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): You're not a sacrifice Starwind. You're a beautiful mare with lots of knowledge, skills, speed, and abilities. I know that you can do this. Help us, help Nightshade.

 

Starwind (to Swiftwind): Would it be best if I called out to my friends in the other world? The other horses, in case things get out of control?

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): Yes, that would be best. Now go tell Seto that there is a way to bring her back…..it will make him happier then he is now.

 

Starwind walked over to Seto and nudged him. He stood up and Hugged Starwind. Starwind told Seto through telepathy that there is a way to bring Nightshade and it requires a long journey. Seto decides that he will go with her but she tells him that it is to dangerous and the road is long. Seto doesn't care, and he tells Starwind that he is going with her.

 

He climbs on Starwind's back and they walk over to Swiftwind. He walks over and hugs Starwind and nudges her. He opens up the portal to their world where they came from, and they walk through.

 

All the horses (including Swiftwind), wish her good luck and to return safely.

 

Swiftwind (to Starwind): Starwind, ride hard and don't look back.

 

Starwind and Seto walk through the portal and make it to the other side. Before they continue, she calls out some of her horse friends. Seto sees four horses running towards Starwind to greet her.

 

 

Horse 1: It's so good to see you again Starwind. What's the special occasion?

 

 

Starwind: My rider and friend, Seto has just lost his partner and sweetheart. She was poisoned by someone evil, and we need to find the cure, get it and return back to her.

 

Horse 2: You mean to go to the Valley of Whispering Woods and kill the Griffon and his minions?

 

Starwind: Yup, that I plan to do. That's why I need all your help to distract his minion griffons while I try to take him down and get the Moonlight Primrose before it's too late to bring back Nightshade.

 

Horse 5: Oh no, not Nightshade. We can't let her stay like that forever.

 

Starwind: I know, so that's why we are heading to the Valley of Whispering Woods. Who's with me?

 

Horse 1: I'm with ya Starwind.

 

Horse 3: Sounds good to me.

 

Horse 4: Yeah let's do it.

 

All five horses, along with Seto, set off on their journey to get the Moonlight Primrose for Nightshade and bring her back. They ran all day in their world, till they reached a stream, to get some water.

 

After everyone took a quick drink, they reached the Valley of Whispering Woods, and there waiting inside the woods, was the Griffon and his five minions, waiting to attack anyone that comes near the Moonlight Primrose.

 

 

Next Chapter, the horses and Seto are in for a big surprise when they are encountered by a surprise attack by Griffon's minions. Will Starwind be able to defeat Griffon, and grab the Moonlight Primrose before it's too late? Find out here soon in chapter 13.
